Team up on house robots ;) No, but seriously... flip... flip... flip... and flip? No favouritism. Just get under, push to walls/hazards and flip.
So... I'd like to apologize for being terribly slow to get this in. I've been separated from my internet for a while; that plus work, and I wasn't prepared with stats that were up to FRA standards. I'd like to enter Parasite into the All-Stars. I have another design that I could enter into the challenge belt, but I'd need to do some research to get it ready... if you want I'll enter it though.

Ask if you need anything else. I'll revise the stats and get better weights and more specific part info, but that's what I have for the moment. If it's enough for you to write,
and yes I'm Nick Schuch from Raleigh, NC, US
 I'm very sorry Nick, but since the line-up has already been posted, there's not much I can do anymore as relations to entrants in concerned. I am going to be doing another version of this, so you can enter then, and maybe some of the other tournies as well :proud:
However, enough sadness, here's a fight, enjoy 8)

Eye Of Ran II vs. The Servant€™s Assistant
From Pontefract, Eye Of Ran II!!
Entered by Joey McConnel
Where does this robots name come from? I dunno, but if you see Eye Of Ran, you better start running! This T-shaped robot of doom is equipped with a deadly bar weapon: a deadly 30kg metre long spinning bar that blends Flywheel logic - by using weight reducing holes to make the outer edge of the blade heavier - with a bar€™s raw power to hit hard and fast - spinning at 2500rpm - and giving off 106kj per hit from those curved teeth shaped hammers at each end of bar! This robot has speed as well, being at 12mph and capable of fantastic acceleration away from it€™s predator, as well as towards it€™s prey, and the 2 wheel drive with both wheels mounted at the front make it easy to keep the blade pointed towards it€™s target! But even if it€™s caught, the 4mm Hardox shell with Polycarbonate overlayer over a Ti/V box section chassis make this a tough not to crack. Rear/side wedges serve as additional weapons to push with, and it€™s nearly impossible to attack this robot without being hit by the blade, but underneath the blade is a 5mm ground clearance and in a straight pushing match this robot could find itself staring defeat in the face.
From Nottingham, The Servants Assistant!!
Entered by Lian Walsh
This servant needs assistance - in cleaning up the mess he€™ll make in the ring! Here we have a box wedge design equipped with a flipper, which is capable of lifting 500kg, which may not be the most powerful flipper in the entire world, but is still OOTA capable. Now we move onto the rest of the robot, which has a drive train built for acceleration, owning 6 solid rubber wheel drive with 4 x S28-400 Magmotors at 24V giving 24hp going onto the power that give 18mph, and it can reach that instantly! Armour this robot in 6mm Titanium and you have a tough cookie that will be slow to crumble. However, the 6 wheel drive may make turning accurately a little challenging, leading to a chance that The Servant€™s Assistant may be made redundant.

Whoa! TSA is already out of the starting square; the 6 wheel drive providing unbelieveable traction on the floor, and the blade of Eye Of Ran is only part way spun up! TSA comes in fast, and rams straight into€¦the wall. Eye Of Ran is now away into the arena centre, but a lot slower than its chaser being only 12mph to 18mph. However, Lian€™s machine is struggling to accurately turn to face the Challenge Belt defender, as we thought might be the case, and now the whirring of Joey€™s bladed weapon is deafening! The Servant€™s Apprentice rams in once, but this time is much more accurate€¦AND WHAT A SIGHT THIS IS: Lian rams straight into the Eye of the storm, the blade cutting clean across the front wedge but the flipper coming in just in time, to send Eye Of Ran flying! From the arena centre, Eye Of Ran flies to the wall from the sparks!! Very good attack there from TSA, but the cut in the front 6mm Titanium - running the entire width of the plate horizontally - shows as a very horrible looking battle scar! However, Eye Of Ran is now moving slowly away from the wall, as TSA sees his chance, and drives in with the speed of an arrow freshly fired bow, seeing a chance for a famous victory here€¦BANG! Straight into the front of Eye Of Ran, but the bar hits that front plate, AND AN ENTIRE HALF OF IT GOES FLYING OFF! This is major damage here, and the flipper missed a great shot€¦and now, the chaser becomes the chased as Lian reverses into the arena centre, with Joey in hot pursuit! In the arena centre, Lian is looking for another way to stop the blade and come back into this fight, but he now has to be defensive, as the highly destructive Eye Of Ran comes in once more, straight on the front blade, replicating the first hit between the two machines, only this time, Eye Of Ran flies up high before hitting down, but not too far away from TSA€¦who seems to not be moving at all; the flipper arm is open wide, but the wheels, or anything else isn€™t working! Joey has won another match in impressive style, but does seem too inclined towards leaving TSA alone, and hits into the right-hand sides with the powerful weapon€¦WHOA! Off comes the side armour, exposing all the electrics. Surely Joey does want another hit in€¦BANG! Out comes a motor from TSA, and what looks a bit like a safety link as well; in that case, Eye Of Ran has more than won! Lian applauds gracefully, as Joey spins his weapon down, as the count begins.

Eye Of Ran II vs. Munch
Give me tactics, predictions, comments and something that personifies awesomeness in your mind
The claw is 15mm hardox hence pretty solid so I shall keep it fully down and ram Eye of Ran II to slow it's spinning blade. I should easily be able to push it and should have better acceleration due to much more torque so I can keep very close at all times, not allowing him to spin up fully.
I shall then try to clamp EoR front on so it can't spin up and I am in control then to the pit with ye scurvy dog.
Good luck Joey.

From Milton Keynes, Munch!!
Entered by Jordan Brown
Munch, crush, eats robots whole for brunch! Yes, extremely bad rhyme for an extremely good robot. What we have here is a compact reverse trapezoidal wedge crushing machine, powered by 2 x LEM130€™s at 36V, giving 18hp, going to 4 small wheels, which give 10mph speeds: not amazingly fast, but it is great for torque and acceleration. The weaponry is a twin pronged, 15mm Hardox thick electric crusher powered by dual ampflow A28-400's at 26.4V, giving 4.5 tonnes at the tip, and capable of going from fully open to close - a 100 degrees range of motion - in less than a second. This already sounds like a strong machine; throw on a body shell crafted of Grade 5 Titanium of 15mm for the front forks, and the rest 7mm thickness. This looks like a contender, but the speed of the machine, plus the exposed tyres could result in Munch getting crunched.

Up whirls the blade of Eye Of Ran€¦and it€™s already up to speed; there was no way of Munch getting to him prior to the spinning up of the weapon. The whirling dervish comes in ever closer, AND WHACKS STRAIGHT INTO THE FRONT OF MUNCH€¦Wow - that€™s the first time the Eye Of Ran has been even shrugged off without causing damage so far! This is a brave, strong machine in Munch, as he comes back on the attack on a slowing down spinning blade, and Eye Of Ran is driven back and MUNCH GETS HIS CLAWS AROUND THE FRONT LEFT SIDE OF EYE OF RAN!! The one machine that could€™ve had a strong advantage over Eye Of Ran, and Jordan Brown has utilised it; holding the strong Challenge Belt holder like a dog with a bone, pinning him in against the side wall, all the time racking up points, all the time. Tired of pinning, in what looks to be a really quick fight here, Munch manhandles Joey€™s machine and pushes him straight INTO THE PIT RELEASE BUTTON! The abyss opens, and looks for an easy win here, but controversial decision by the arena marshalls; they think that Eye Of Ran has been held too long, and tell Jordan to release him: and he begrudenly abides! Eye Of Ran is free! Joey takes this opportunity and drives into the arena centre, blade whirling, as the slow Munch makes his way afterwards. In the arena centre now, Joey turns to face Munch, but yet again the machine from Milton Keynes deflects the blow away, this time though with minor damage - some scrapes in the front 15mm of Titanium armour! Munch lundges forward to try and get another hold on, but Joey is all the wiser this time, and instead reverses, doing a stylish spin away from trouble€¦AND ENDING UP SIDE-ON TO MUNCH! He hits in, and tears one of the tyres straight off Munch€™s front-right side: THAT is proper damage now! Munch is still able to move however, albeit not very well in a straight line, and goes again for the front of Eye Of Ran, and again pushing back the bar spinner machine. Joey is having a much harder time in this fight than he€™s had in any of the other battles so far, as he€™s pushed back over the under-floor arena saws, which we€™ve seen very little of in E.O.T.R Extreme Edition. There looks to be no damage to the Hardox and Polycarbonate body of Eye Of Ran, but dominance on the part of Munch all the way through this fight, as we go into the final minute: and Eye Of Ran has it all to do. Munch powers on€¦SMASH! Eye Of Ran hits the back wall with a great hit - control, dominance and aggression being scored on account of Munch. What performance so far! Eye Of Ran is let go, as Munch powers on again, but this time finally the blade has an effect, and a cut is put in the front of Munch, as he€™s flung backwards, and now Joey has a chance come in on the attack; he goes side-on, the same side as before€¦SMASH! No way! Off comes the front wheel of Munch as we go into the final 20 seconds of combat! Jordan has been strong throughout this fight but he seems to have lost it here! Joey comes in once again on the front and JORDAN HAS HIM ONCE MORE!
10€¦9€¦
Munch spins Eye Of Ran about, trying to edge him nearer to the saws€¦
€¦8€¦7€¦
Eye Of Ran€™s rear wedge is now slightly over the saws, and this time the saws do a bit of damage, cutting ever so slightly into it.
€¦6€¦5€¦
Eye Of Ran is let loose, going into the arena centre, and turning for another run in on Munch€¦
€¦4€¦3€¦
Joey comes in hard on the front, but again is deflected off! Bravery from Munch to go to a Judges Decision - unlike any other robot so far. Brilliant!!
€¦2€¦1€¦CEASE!!
Woah€¦this is MAJOR controversy, as is always the case on Robot Wars, and even their fanfic related outlets. The judges say that whilst Munch was clearly the better performer during the fight, they say that with the side two wheels missing it can€™t move in anything other than a circle, thus impinging the 50% drive rule.
It€™s sad but true, the JD don€™t need to make points, as they€™ve given it to EYE OF RAN!

Bad luck Jordan, w00t for getting a belt :)
I'd be tempted to agree with Kody here, but I'll still try my best - use the skirted ends to keep Flick at bay and hit it repeatedly once spun up.
Hiya ppl. Because this forum at present is spookily quiet, here's a fight to add noise to it. btw, it is extremely short, due to the fact I've had quite a busy past few days and have hosted an AS/A2 results party most of the evening and am knackered. Anyway, enjoy reading and hope that anyone my age range - 17/18 years old - got the results they wanted, because I didn't fully :proud: Anyway, read and enjoy.

One flick of the wrist and you€™re a goner! Flick Of The Wrist is a 6 wheeled, high-powered rammer which uses 2 major weapons - first of all, the B42-500 MagMotors at 48V, providing awesome 35hp and speeds of 22mph to cross the floor quickly. The second set of weapon are a pair of Hardox lifting spikes with the ends tipped with diamonds to make them mega-sharp and have the ability to get under the lowest of skirting. The forks are 25cm each, and can be lowered so they push the whole robot up so it can move on the back wheels, or they can be set parallel to the ground, making them as effective spikes - the whole robot produces 5kj of force when ramming something at full speed, and can cause some damage! Damge is prevented by 7mm Titanium covering every bit of the robot. A 1cm clearance may be exploitative€¦if you can live that long€¦

Flick Of Thw Wrist is move forward by a flick of Martijn€™s joystick€¦and his machine is hurdling across the arena straight into the backward facing Eye Of Ran€¦SMACK! Wow, what an opening start, and already the Challenge Belt holder is in immediate trouble, has the blade, still spinning is stopped on the wall! And the amazing horsepower output is helping pin Joey€™s machine is there; he is forced to go away, buy quickly Joey€™s machine has lost fans€™ favour to Flick, and may soon loose the fight. Flick is now seeming to give up keeping the blade from gaining speed, as he thunders to the pit release button, but Joey is now on the attack, the blade viciously spinning€¦AND IT HITS THE SIDE OF FLICK OF THE WRIST; the panel is beaten harshly, and nearly taken off. Does this deter Martijn though? The answer is quickly €˜no€™ as he lowers the forks and drive again at Eye Of Ran while the blade is slightly slowed, and thunders him against the wall. The forks are also underneath the front€¦and they come in€¦the wheels of Eye Of Ran are off the ground - could this be the end of the reign of Eye Of Ran - and Martijn seems to have the perfect line-up for the pit...AND HE TAKES IT! Eye Of Ran is slammed onto the edge of the pit before sliding in! Joey smiles as his Challenge Belt reign comes to an end, and the reign of Martijn begins!

From Kings Cross, London, Delirium Tremors!!
Entered by Matt Fowler
What a psychedelic name: after what its creator claims to suffer in the mornings, he aims to make his enemies suffer from the same thing! Here we have a full-body-drum, in which all the elctronics and vital organs are housed inside the 29kg 1cm thick Aluminium drum, with 12 teeth built onto it. It€™s powered by 2 Magmotors geared to 2:21, making the spin-up time very quick, and the max speed being 2450rpm giving off 83kj. That€™s literally all there is to this lethal robot, except for Amnesty International style triangular panels on the sides of it, with each side holding 3 wheels, one on each point - each point has 4mm Titanium around the whells to keep them safe - to keep traction on the ground at all times, but underneath that drum is 10cm ground clearance, and the small motors only allow for 7mph speeds€¦all it be enough?

And the whirling drum of DT starts spinning, and Flick is coming straight into the eye of the storm€¦and Flick hits DT back against the wall! It seems here that DT - the fiercest looking robot so far in this Challenge Belt competition - isn€™t going to be able to put up with the extreme speed of the Dutch rammer. Matt looks worried, as Martijn gets his machine to the side of the Tremoring weapon, and shove it hard and fast across the Steel coated Hardox floor; as he does this, Martijn lifts up his forks€¦and DT does an ultra-stylish double barrel roll! Flick is racking up points all the while, in what is so far an extremely impressive performance from the low red ramming machine. Matty has some work to do to come back, but this is where the mentioned low speeds proved vulnerable against such an aggressive fast rammer. Flick gives up the attack on Matty€™s machine, as he reverses across the arena, like a man who can see out the back of his head, into the pit release button, and drives back on the attack: the speed makes this sound completely reasonable. Matty now has the drum spinning at maximum velocity, and Martijn is fully aware of this, but hits into the drum regardless€¦BANG! Great sound made by that hit, and great style as Flick goes flying away from that pound€¦what isn€™t so good is the extreme lack of damage caused, other than a superficial scratch to the front-forks. It now means that, with the drum having lost a couple of reps, Flick can press on again, this time going at the sides of the spinning drum on wheels, and is pressing him along, straight into the spinning disc of doom€¦BANG! Ouch; the wheel holds on, but the 3-point side look a little sorry after that whack, maybe even a little bent: THAT is going to cause even more problems for the already struggling DT, and Flick comes again, this time on the drum€¦BANG! NOW, there is damage, as the scratches now turn into dents! Flick is now being worried for the first time in both its spinner heavy bouts so far, but Martijn isn€™t deterred as he rams hard into the pointed sides once more, and now the heavy drumming machine is being push sideways across the arena, not doing those damage points any good, let alone the rubber on the tyres screaming - literally begging - not to come off the hubs. An impressive performance so far by Flick Of The Wrist, as the match goes into the final minute of combat! Matty has it all to do, as he gets the drum going despite being SLAMMED into the wall once again! The arena shakes from the force of the little 22mph rammer. He rears up for a forward ram, this is Matt€™s chance, can he turn around to get the drum facing the target€¦stupid question, with the 7mph speed he isn€™t going to make it, as Flick SLAMS in again, and again, and again. Final 40 seconds, and Flick has to back off and let Matty out, as told by the arena marshalls, and Matty tries to escape€¦and he does; not quickly, but he€™s done it and coming in on the attack! Flick reverses away, keeping a good distance away€¦and coming on the damaged side! The spikes are instant in removing the traction from the floor, as the drumming machine shoved along, lifted, and does yet another double barrel roll! Stylish aggression from Martijn, points being totted up as we go into the remaining 10 seconds!
10€¦9€¦
Delirium Tremors has to come on the attack now, but Martijn is keeping his distance still€¦
€¦8€¦7€¦
DT is now finally facing Flick, who comes ramming in on the slowly moving drum, stopping it before ramming him back across the ring.
€¦6€¦5€¦
We can see an extra dint to add to the dent in the 7mm Titanium, but DT is still being powered back€¦
€¦4€¦3€¦
Another hard ram against the wall, and slight flexing of another one those wheel holding arms on Delirium Tremors! However, it now goes to the judges!!
€¦2€¦1€¦CEASE!!
Well that was an amazing fight. It may seem obvious who the winner is, but the judges still need to decide on the winner here. Will it be the bog-standard rammer Flick Of The Wrist, or the high-concept drummer Delirium Tremors?
JD - The scores:
Dominance: Through out the entire fight, Flick was in a position of total dominance, worrying, nagging and even damaging it€™s opponent. However, due to the damage caused by DT to Flick, the Challenge Belt holder scores€¦but so does the Challenger.
Flick Of The Wrist: 4 x 6 = 24
Delirium Tremors: 1 x 6 = 6
Damage: Both robots score for this section. DT scores for the scratches, dents and dints caused by hits from its drum on Flick. However, Flick€™s shove into the disc of death caused issues for mobility, which all the more affected DT€™s performance. Again, DT scores, but lowly because the damage he caused wasn€™t very important in affecting Flick€™s performance.
Flick Of The Wrist: 4 x 5 = 20
Delirium Tremors: 1 x 5 = 5
Aggression: Throughout the fight, Flick did show continual aggression, being persistant in it€™s shunts and rams, as he seemed to completely dominate the fight. Delirium Tremors under the control of Matty never seemed to come in on the attack, as the only two hits achieved on it€™s opponent was a result of Flick€™s aggression and going onto the drum. Therefore, it is a clean sweep; max points for Flick Of The Wrist
Flick Of The Wrist: 5 x 4 = 20
Delirium Tremors: 0 x 4 = 0
Strategy: There was a lack of strategy for this fight, as Delirium had the tactic of €˜hit and run€™ but he never seemed to get that going, but he did get a few hits in. Flick scores highly for making use of the arena in his plan for the fight, but so does DT for partially carrying out it€™s basic strategy.
Flick Of The Wrist: 4 x 3 = 12
Delirium Tremors: 1 x 3 = 3
Control: This is a no contest. While Flick did get into trouble twice with attacks on the drum, he did at least keep on the attack and recovered well from said attacks. The aggressive driving also meant that Flick kept on top, kept the drums speed down and thus clean sweeps this section as well.
Flick Of The Wrist: 5 x 2 = 10
Delirium Tremors: 0 x 2 = 0
Style: Delirium throughout the fight had a very boring fighting style; literally, waiting for Flick to charge and hope that it would work. The hits did cause some nice throws, but the driving of Martijn at the control of Flick, and the way he was able to get Delirium Tremors to barrel-roll earns him points, but so does Delirium Tremors for the nice throws.
Flick Of The Wrist: 3 x 1 = 3
Delirium Tremors: 2 x 1 = 2
Totals:
Flick Of The Wrist: 89
Delirium Tremors: 16
Unusually for a Judges Decision, there is no controversy or surprise: the clear winner is FLICK OF THE WRIST!
Result:
Delirium Tremors is shaking in his boots!

Flick Of The Wrist vs. Macduff The 5th
Send me tactics, comments, predictions and a NICE double-chocolate-chip muffin with chocolate icing and more chocolate on top :proud:
...huh. Well, it's my turn so here goes.
Flick of the Wrist vs. Macduff the 5th
We've both 6WD. I have less speed. But with more speed, Flick sacrifices control and acceleration. Add to the fact that B42-500 Magmotors don't exactly exist (they're actually BFA42s, and perform far weaker than some imagined :P). So basically, I'm willing to bet we have the same power output. Between rammers, this battle won't be about speed, it'll be about the two aforementioned things: acceleration and control. And I outdo Flick in both of those, so I can be more aggressive. I also outdo Flick in armour, far outdo him, so if it goes the distance, I'll probably get the damage category.
That aside, here's something I notice right away. Flick has a nice space between those two forks. And guess what? I have something that can fit right in between them; my 4th set-up, the flipping arm. It has a 50cm extension (on top of how much the flipper already extends away from the body) and I doubt Flick's forks reach out from the main body that far. Even if I can't get him right over with it, it'll pop him up into the air and on top of the front of Macduff. Then I'll shove him somewhere nasty. Hazards, pit, you name it. But I won't try for the OOTA, my flipper's too weak for that. But if I can, I'll stack him against a wall; unlike the render that Flick 2 shows, his sides are really flat and those forks won't help him. Just get right in his face, flip him over as many times as possible, shove him into nasty things/stack him, and be done with it.
If needed, Paul, I can get you a quick render of how the flipper looks like.
Good luck Marti!
That would be greatly appreciated thank you Kody :talker:

And since Flick's stats say the forks are 25cm long, I should have no trouble passing them. :)
Hey look, it's a fight :proud: I completed this last ight, but was too tired to go through all the highlighting and faces and stuff I do when I post these fights, thus am posting it UK time at 7:00. By the way, only two more fights left of the Challenge Belt, and the All-Stars is next, so be aware :uhoh:
MATCH: SIX
Flick Of The Wrist vs. Macduff The 5th
From Enschede, The Netherlands, Flick Of The Wrist!!
Entered by Martijn Benschop
A 1cm clearance may be exploitative€¦if you can live that long€¦
From Toronto, Canada, Macduff The 5th!!
Entered by Kody Kunz
Aye, yer wee robotic terrors, look out for the king of Scotland! What we€™re looking at here is a low-rammer design with 6 wheels for ultimate speed - 15mph coming from 2 x LEM130€™s at 48V, giving 24hp - and traction in a straight line, armoured in a Titanium/Vanadium alloy, 7.5mm thick with extra covering on the sides and rear. That€™s not the main advantage of this robot: this robot has an interchangeable weapons system: with weapons ranging from electric lifting forks, a drum weapon with 2 x Tungsten steel teeth and a flipper with a 50cm extension that can lift 250kg to static scoops. This robot seems the perfect karma chameleon but the invertible nature of this robot means the wheels are exposed, and thus said karma chameleon may soon be arrested.

Booth #2: Kody K (using the flipper)

It€™s the attack of the clones here on E.O.T.R today, as the two rammers power from the starting zones into the arena centre. A loud clang as the rammers hit, but Macduff, the weasley Scottish king from Canada, has got the flipper blade in between the forks Flick, and in a quick Flick, Flick is sent facing backwards - and upside down - as Kody goes in pursuit now€¦POWER!! Flick is slammed back against the Hardox walls by Kody, who has got into a brilliant start so far€¦but not for long€¦THE WHEELS OF FLICK OF THE WRIST ARE SPINNING WILDLY! And the result is the more powerful Flick is shoving Macduff hard back into his starting square. Excellent piece of aggression there by Flick, but the question is how much more can do here, as he€™s forced to let Kody go, who is back on the attack. Flick is trying to get to the sides of the machine, but Kody€™s driving is too skilled for that; Martijn tries to get the side, but Kody cuts him up, getting to Martijn€™s own side, and flicking Flick over once again! Macduff powers on, taking Flick Of The Wrist across the arena, power the saws, which buzz as they slice into the base plate of their victim. Both machines take a ride over the saws, but neither seem to have taken anything much more than a scratch from the saws, as Macduff hits the current Challenge Belt holder against the wall. Good control so far by Macduff here. Flick needs to do something here, but he can€™t seem to get around the sides of Macduff, as tries to slam in once more, but the flipper is there again€¦and points racking up all the while for Macduff here, as the stylish throws followed by fast rams are on the cards today. Martijn looks worried as his robot is once again rammed hard onto the spike strip once more; he needs something to come back into the fight with. But what€™s this?? Martijn€™s ramming machine plows hard into the rear of Macduff - finally a good piece of driving from the Dutch competitor - and catches him straight on the lifting forks. The forks raise up the machine on the said forks and drive straight at the wall, at incredible speed and pace€¦BANG! And Flick has stacked Macduff the 5th - but hopefully not the last - with the flipper facing inside the ring, as Martijn backs off for another hit in. Kody activates the flipper, but it€™s not strong enough it seems to launch his machine off the wall€¦but it€™s not strong enough to eject him from the ring either: instead, Kody has stacked himself on the wall, and the wheels are spinning madly to try and drive off the wall! The fight looks to have been completely turned on its head, as Martijn looks on, spinning in victory€¦OR IS IT?? Flick Of The Wrist is spinning on one side, the other side wheels not moving: and we can see why, as the drive chain to one side wheels has come off - as he reversed off for another ram, the saws hit in and knoked the chain off! The question is now, can Macduff get free in time?? The answer appears to be no! Well, there€™s nothing left to do; the judge will have to decide!
CEASE!!!
Well that was an amazing fight. It all seemed to be going so well, but with both machines deemed immobile, we call upon the esteemed judge to decide on the winner of the fight. Who is it? Well, only time will tell€¦
JD - The scores:
Dominance: Both robots displayed different periods of dominance. More dominance was held by Macduff, as he was constantly overturning Flick Of The Wrist and driving him about the arena. The two main attacks Flick was able to get in, was when Macduff was effortlessly shoved back to his starting square by the Dutch rammer, and the final stacking move that immobilised Macduff. Close, but this goes Macduff for the longer, more sustained periods of dominance.
Flick Of The Wrist: 2 x 6 =12
Macduff The 5th: 3 x 6 = 18
Damage: This is a no contest. After looking at the two robots from the pits, Flick sustained a lot of dints and scratches to add onto the broken chain. Macduff barely had a disturbed paint job. All points go to the Scottish robot Macduff, and his Canadian driver.
Flick Of The Wrist: 0 x 5 = 0
Macduff The 5th: 5 x 5 = 25
Aggression: Flick Of The Wrist did try and come on the attack fairly frequently, which is worth noting as most of Macduff€™s attacks occurred because Flick came on the attack on him. Due to this fact, Flick does take the lead on this section, but only just because of the fact that while he attacked more, Macduff did keep on turning it around to his favour.
Flick Of The Wrist: 3 x 4 = 12
Macduff The 5th: 2 x 4 = 8
Strategy: Martijn€™s strategy seemed to be just ramming Macduff about and hope something would happen, which admittedly it did. However, Macduff had the greater need for strategy behind it, as he picked the right weapon for the occasion, and used it well. Therefore Macduff takes the majority points in this section.
Flick Of The Wrist: 1 x 3 = 3
Macduff The 5th: 4 x 3 = 12
Control: Both machines showed excellent moments of control, but Macduff did show skill and flare in dodging many of Flick€™s onslaughts, and managing to turn them on him. However, Flick seemed unpreteured by a lot of this, as he was able to come back easily from said attacks, therefore, this is closer than you€™d think.
Flick Of The Wrist: 2 x 2 = 4
Macduff The 5th: 3 x 2 = 6
Style: In a fight with what is, in essence, two ramming boxes, styles a bit hard to judge. However, the combination of flips and rams, Macduff did show excellent style of fighting. However, Flick does score points for the skill at which he was able to get the two main attacks in with.
Flick Of The Wrist: 2 x 1 = 2
Macduff The 5th: 3 x 1 = 3
Totals:
Flick Of The Wrist: 31
Macduff The 5th: 74
Well, it€™s sad but true: the reign of the Challenge Belt holder is over! Sorry Martijn, but you don€™t get the belt, as the decision for the winner is MACDUFF THE 5TH!
Result:
Flick Of The Wrist finds himself thrown off into the distance!

Macduff The 5th vs. V€™Ger
Tactics, comments, predictions and some cocaine to keep me away at school please :proud:
Have you been listening to Eric Clapton, Paul? :P Regardless, great fight. :)
Macduff the 5th vs. V'Ger
V'Ger's hard for me to control because of the shape, but it's the disc that worries me more...slightly. As we've seen I can take a buffeting, so I'm going to fit on the second set-up (5mm Hardox lifting wedge) and run straight into the disc, hopefully taking it out of commission after a few vicious slams. I'm about 20kg heavier than it, I should boss it around like nobody's business. Avoid the lifter if I can help it. Particularly, go for a pitting, but be very careful not to get too reckless and pit myself.
Good luck Tracy. :)
This forum's been dead recently. So here's a REALLY short fight here to get it back up and going again. Yes, I know it's lazy, but that's all I can say: ENJOY :proud:

From Brooks, Alberta, Canada, V€™Ger!!
Entered by Tracy Farber
What a design here, aiming to be a parasitic pest to all competitors. What we have here is a double weapon machine, armed with both a 10kg 5000rpm spinning disc at the rear and a lifter at the front to allow for the 2 Magmotors to come in for shoving machines about the place. Not much more that can be said - it€™s hard to attack without coming into contact with either weapon, it€™s a shape that automatically falls down onto its wheels, it€™s got a solid body, but in a world of +100kg machines, will this heavy middleweight 80kg machine be blown away in the breeze?

And they€™re off! Both machines are quick off of the start, and the both of the robots smash together hard, like the rocks that they are. In this immediate start, it€™s the current Challenge belt holder with the 20kg weight advantage who whacks into V€™Ger, slightly slowing the disc, but also sending him rebounding off away from Kody. This isn€™t enough to put him off though, as he powers forward to the side of V€™Ger, getting underneath it, and keeping there drives on€¦BANG: against the wall! Good early onslaught by the Canadian rammer, as V€™Ger is pinned hard against the wall€¦and extremely near the disc of doom! Tracy needs to be very nearful here, as she quickly jerks the gear-sticks on her control board to get V€™Ger away€¦but not that fast€¦BANG! Disc on disc here, and that was a mighty blow! Both Canadians here properly going for it, as Kody rears his machine up for another painful whack that he has in mind. But what€™s this? V€™Ger€™s not moving! IT looks like the disc-on-disc action has dislodged something inside: the lifter is working fine, but the disc isn€™t spinning and the wheels aren€™t either! Over in less than a minute, the Canadian rammer has quenched another opponent, as he moves one step closer to defending the Challenge Belt!

Macduff The 5th vs. Exotherm
w00t :) can't update my tourneys at the moment due to some circumstances, but it's good to see someone else keeping it half-alive, at any rate :P
sorry for beating V'Ger up Tracy
Macduff the 5th vs. Exotherm
TWO former Nick bots in a row? :P Hmmmmm...let's keep the lifting wedge. I'm pretty sure it'll get under those dinky little side wedges (the v-disc reaches further out anyway, though) and can take more than enough punishment from the disc. Do what I did with V'Ger; kill his disc, pit him, be very careful and not pit myself.
Good luck Lewis. :)
OK, fair enough. All those bumps weren't insults to the lack of progress, they were indeed just my impatient outbursts :proud: Shizer, in all it's forms, happens to people. Hope whatever circumstances aren't that bad and turn out well, like your tourneys :talker:
