Quite pleased with how it worked, but still a few things to do before Portsmouth, namely:
- Adding a hardox, removable skid to the back
- Re-routing the bungees
Doesn't the slanted back only encourage it to flip back when the arm fires?
Full first fight:

Yep, but the idea was that by angling the back it wouldn't rest there, needless to say, we were wrong :)Quote:

Just stripped Explosion down and found one wheel had completely locked up, so we've got to replace that and sort out some cracked welds
Just finished our website update
www.teaminvade.co.uk
some of the test is bunched up and on top of other text for me. also i think it would be good if you put pictures of your robots in the build and the insides like you had on your last website.
That's probably because you don't have the font installed, will look at fixing that shortly
Same for me, all the buttons have mashed together too :?

Yeah, I'm fixing that by making the title and hyperlinks pictures instead of text boxes :D
Should work perfectly now

The final line of text is right on top of the hazard graphic, you may want to move it down a tad.
Ah, that would be a problem :lol:Quote:

No need:

Works for me on Internet Explorer 8.

This is it in FireFox
Jarvis it's covering the bottom line of text
So it only works on Chrome, I've worked out that that's because different browsers have a different line spacing, but I'm not too sure how to counter that :?
Encourage everyone to use Chrome as their browser? 8)
Simplest fix is to add a blank line between the text and the hazard tape.
Looks good in Safari too :)
Any one got Opera?............
Should be fine now

Looks good for me in camp Firefox!
Should mention aswell, all the pictures from our old site are on photobucket, if anyone still wants to view them
Very nice. I can see this becoming a yearly competition to see who can produce the best forum Christmas card

All the repairs made have been completely superficial. All of the pneumatics, electronics and drive managed to withstand NST entirely. We've re-welded up the frame, made a new corner, and a few new other bits, and six panels (the back panel is still the same). All in all, nothing's changed, so it should work just as well as before, hopefully :)
Sorry to all those who thought they were going to have an easy time at Burgess Hill :P
