Update time !!
Ok so we are now going through the last red tape before tickets go onsale. You wouldnt like to know what we are going through at the moment just to get our artwork signed off.... been rejected twice !!!
We had some text over a firework which was coming out of the O2's roof !!! :angry:

Its Wednesday.... sign ups are live.
Still going through red tape so tickets are not yet on sale but nearly there.
Ready for signups though.

how do we stand with entering multiple robots?
Sign them all all up, as they can be used in other fights.
But it is 1 robot per driver.

Hi,
we wanted to sign up for the event at the o2 Arena. But at first we had to register our team. Now i´m scared, cause we have to wait 24-36h until the team register will be confirmed, that all places will be gone. Can anybody help to sign up faster ?

Craig is unable to come so the Big Nipper boys and myself are running Cherub and The Saint respectively.

Like Dave said I can't make that weekend so I thought if someone wants to use the robots for the champs they could. Dave will be able to do something fun with Saint (Even with someone as experienced as Dave, probably won't win with that old crock),
And The Big Nipper Team will run (the electric lifter) Cherub. If either team can't run the robots then someone else could have a go if they want, and they keep themselves and everyone else safe. Lets face it you need something other than all those boring flippers :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I think Big Nipper is broken (speed controllers) and won't be ready for the event at least that was what I think Glyn said. So he wanted to use Cherub instead.

Also, does the entrance fee apply to non-heavyweight teams aswell?
And plus, is it also one robot per-driver for non-heavyweight teams? (Mainly feathers?)
Dave I think he's hiding the list because he wants to surprise the fans :D
The entrance fee is for heavyweight teams only, remember this is a deposit system, and when you complete your first fight you get it back.
We are using this to secure places so we book hotels for hw teams.
For feather weight teams, the event is free to enter, but we wont be providing hotels for you. We will however be supplying the hotel details and any discounts we have to feather weight teams so they can book into the same place if there are rooms available.
The attendants are hidden for the moment so I can do my planning without people worrying about numbers etc. It may be that i open it up to more than originally planned to accomodate everyone, not sure yet.
I can now confirm that there will be a production company filming the event.
They will follow a few teams in the run up to the event, filming at their house, garage or shed, also follow the progress of the new arena build and be at the event filming. We will be making a 30 minute documentry for sale as a DVD, although we do have A Channel interested in seeing the finished version.
