It's alive! but it's not moving. It's the Victor 883's they have this yellow flashing light, so I have no clue?

From Technobots
At this time for some reason my victors are not cabling with my mixer.
Re: Team Jamsandwich Build Diary
Don't Victors have some odd system whereby you need to also have a special booster/adapter for them to operate on normal PWM signals?
Re: Team Jamsandwich Build Diary
I don't know this is the first time I use them.
I hope there is someone here who has the answer.
Re: Team Jamsandwich Build Diary
do you have booster cables on your victors?
Re: Team Jamsandwich Build Diary
These maybe:

I've never used Victors so don't know for sure. Some people on here do use them though and should be able to help.

Yes I do have booster cables (PWM single signal booster)
Re: Team Jamsandwich Build Diary
It's most likely that my booster cables are the cause.
I don't have enough time to get a standard cable.
Re: Team Jamsandwich Build Diary
Do your Victors work on their own without the mixer?
Are the booster cables plugged into the Victor units the correct way round.
As far as I remember, a flashing amber LED means that the Victors are not receiving a valid radio signal.
Re: Team Jamsandwich Build Diary
I just pulled the power plug in and out off the Receiver, and the motors work for 1 second It seems like the power is not going to the receiver.
Re: Team Jamsandwich Build Diary
Well I got my right side motor working but my left is not. I change the receiver to the Etronix pulse without the mixer.
Re: Team Jamsandwich Build Diary
all of what your saying sounds like problems ive had before with the same set up, problem is its been over half a year since ive touched the robot so i litterally cnt remember how i solved all the problems i had lol, but the flashing yellow light problem used to happen to mine when i used the robots weapon as the voltage spike would crash/reset the speedos/reciever, cant remember which lol you can buy or make a capacitor that plugs into your reciever which might solve your problem, as that helped with mine before

Good news I got Mr Pink working, the problem was one of the booster cables was plugged the wrong way
So I missed Kidderminster but I still have Maidstone in November too go to.
At the mean time here's a picture.

Re: Team Jamsandwich Build Diary
I don't think I can get the armour on today because my drill bit's well wear out and there not good quality.
I can try and see.
Re: Team Jamsandwich Build Diary
Looks like it will be solid as a rock with that armour in place.
How thick are the sides? They look like at least 8mm
Re: Team Jamsandwich Build Diary
There 4mm and I don't have enough hardox for the top so I'll have to use Aluminium Plate.
