I'm pretty sure that it's an American machine in the 120lb weight catagory called Fusion or possibly Fission and there's another one with a hammer with the other name.

Yeah it's an american machine but has got anything to do with nuclear.
A quick search found that it belongs to a Team Saber
Thanks alot. just wanted to make sure that my team name wasn't taken
Ordering the plastic today.
Ordered the plastic. Now ordering 2 100mm wheels.
ordered the wheels.
Are you rebuilding LASER?
Yeah I'm making it better
New Project! ( kind of to do with roboteering).
Ok we have benn trying top get a varible output bench power supply for a while, and I was searching around on the internet about them, and I thought would I be able to build one? Yes!
I went to instructables to find out on how to build one and got some instructions.
converting AC to DC is easy. A computer power supply (PSU).
Had alook around in the shed and found an old PSU. I've been testing it today and finding out which cables give what voltages. Tommorow i'm going to maplin to get all the bits I need. I hope it works :) :) :)
Got a word doc with the instructions on it...[attachment=0:1gtc1ghq]Convert A Computer Power supply to a Variable Bench Top Lab Power Supply.docx[/attachment:1gtc1ghq]
clearing the garage a bit so there is enough space to cut some plastic :D
cut the new chassis and waiting for the wheels to arrive.
Ok started a new antweight called evil pig sty(it looks like one)
It is driven by some speed hacked micro servos with some lego wheels attatched.
I finished it today and just started building my antweight arena out of bits of wood.
I'm going away for a few days and after that I'll post some pics of it and the arena.
put the holes in plastic and mounted the motors.
I got a guy from school to build a robot
Is the name Virus taken?
It probably has been in some point in the life of combat robotics. But nothing is springing to mind instantly.
got the lid and base on i'm just making a 18v battery to power the lifter.
LASER mk.2 is on the way!!!!!!!!!!(you should be scared)
finished the chasis last weekend.
I've got the pneumatic stuff for my ants and I will be mainly focusing on them ATM
Been very busy with Eastern counties rugby trials.
(has the team name 'Atomic' been taken by any chance)
I think so, albeit a while ago, i seem to remember a yellow and red flipper that had that name, and i think the team had that as there team name, their probably long defunct now though, so should be okay if its what you want.

battery 11.1v 1000 mAh Li-Po
weapon flipper :) (hopefully won't kill myself)
ram http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/10mm-Bore-50mm-St ... 4aaba05c22
valve http://www.giantcod.co.uk/3-way-valve-p-405035.html with servo powering it
tank 2x deodrant tanks in parralellelelellelellelelelell (anoying word)
base and back 6mm HDPE
armour 2mm steel.
flipper arm 4mm ali checker plate
What do you think?
From the sound of how these KiloBot's are going, I wouldn't build a flipper
Fully enclosed arenas render flippers spinner bait
not good for competitions unless the arena changes but would be awesome just to drive about and flip empty coke cans and stuff :) armour wise i wouldn't use 2mm steel, you'll struggle to get it in weight and it isn't that great. if i were you i'd use hdpe or polycarb, kookaburra uses 10mm hdpe (overkill) and 3mm checkerplate. to be honest checkerplate isn't very good seeing as it is made from very low grade aluminium but it looks awesome :)
I could use 5mm Lexan...
hehe i wonder where you got an idea for a kilobot like that from...
You maybe.... lol
