Sounds good!
Also started building a new robot on sunday, currently it looks like this.
Belt drive, 4wd, quite simple design.
At the moment it has some random motors in it, I´m going to change them soon.
Stay tuned for more! :proud:

that would be amazing in combat! :)
No it wouldnt! It would get torn apart by spinners in seconds, and i dont deal with non-spinner combat!
if it had some thicker armour, it would be amazing to watch :)
cool! similar design to kookaburra 2!
What camera do you use? All your videos have very nice colour? Or are you using a filter, or some sort of post-production colour correction?
Im using a Fujifilm av100-the cheapest hd camera i have found. Yeah, i color corrected in post.
What software are you using, Final Cut?
After Effects cs4, as I do VFX too.
Ah cool, I though after effects was mostly for VFX. I suppose you could make all your robots blow up at the end of each video.....
Just a little question.
Are antweight spinners banned too in UK as i have never seen one?!
nope, there are loads!
We have Antweight World series 3 times a year where we run full spinner combat. Check youtube for AWS videos, one of our competitors Simon (Youtube username: simonwindish) has virtually all the fights from the last one.
Thanks!
I make weird things if im bored!

Cool, I neally made a walking robot, with a similar method to that, but I couldn't adored it at the time, and I don't think it would be acurat enough for a walker...
Awesome man!
Hi, built a new non-combat robot again!

That's awesome!
Got to say though, not very covert being that noisy!
Its just a spy robot.
That's like saying it's alright for James Bond to walk around while being followed by a Brass Band playing his theme!
Very cool, actually wanted to put some mini camera on a small robot myself, where did you get it from?
Yeh, I was just thinking that, been trying to find a camera like that for years...
You can pick them up on eBay for pretty cheap. Mine was £20 when I got it, but that was a few years ago so I dunno if they're more expensive now. I built a very similar robot with camera fitted and just connected a standard 9V battery but it didn't last very long so never really bothered much with it, although I suppose a small lipo pack would probably last a good deal longer. Nice work Mart :)
Thanks!
I power my system from 2s 610mah li-po, there´s also a BEC for servos.
I lolled. :lol:Quote:

Haven`t done any work on combat robots lately, but made a new vid, that could be helpful.

I'll probably build one of these as i've got some spare servos and hdpe lying around :D
Go ahead!
I was just talking about building one of these for ScotBots a few months ago. Might try to scale up the concept once all the bank account has be replenished to something that can attract a good crowd at our events.
What's that like at turning? Awesome system dude :D
