1. Gravity VS X-Terminator
Hmm, another surprisingly even match-up. X-Terminator is well-skirted and could happily chew away at Gravity's armour, but it does have an unreliable srimech...

2. Macduff the 4th VS TSUNAMI
Why bother stacking you when I can just throw you over the fence, Kody? :wink:
Macduff is one tough cookie, but I believe my great manoueverability could help me win the day. Avoid the front prongs and instead focus my attacks on the sides - those protective spikes are ideal for my flipper to slip under. Drive right underneath Macduff, push it to the nearest wall or House Robot and FLIP! Repeat until it eats the ceiling (Or the House Bots eat it!) If the worst should happen and the flipper runs out of juice, open the Pit, attack the sides as before and try to push it down.
A Scotsman playing for Canada and a German playing for Scotland. Whatever next? :proud:

From Leeuwarden, in the Netherlands, Gravity!
They made it to the semi final last time with that powerful flipper. Its very sleek and fast, but the armour is thin and the Co2 supply is limited.
From Hereford, in Herefordshire, the number 3 seed, X-Terminator!
Grand finalists in the last wars, knocked out in the playoff. The spinning flywheel is a new weapon, and caused major damage last time, but its the slowest here at 9mph.

House Robots: Dead Metal and Cassius Chrome
3-2-1: Activate!
X-Terminator needs to avoid that flipper of Gravity. We saw it last time, and they want to use it again. X-Terminator out of the way as Gravity comes in. Turning around to face the front of X-Terminator who backs away. Gravity is too fast and gets under! X-Terminator FLIPPED! Onto its side! It self-rights, but Gravity is waiting and FLIPS again! X-Terminator lands right side up this time. Turning around. If they can get at the side of Gravity, where the wheels are, they could puncture them and Gravity would be immobolised. The number 3 seeds on the backward step here, so far. They need to do some work to stop Gravity. Gravity comes in again with the flipper but goes up the front of X-Terminator instead. The disc clips the front of the flipper! Gravity almost turned over, but it flips itself down right onto the flywheel again! Damage caused, I think! Gravity manages to escape, but X-Terminator now beginning to get down to business. I think part of the flipper is bent from the earlier attack by X-Terminator, but nothing major. X-Terminator gives chase. Gravity over the flame pit, now it turns around to get under X-Terminator and push it towards the CPZs, or down the pit maybe. X-Terminator comes forward and Gravity charges in. It gets under and FLIPS X-Terminator onto its side again! Now it pushes X-Terminator around towards the wall! Can they get the third seeds out! Can they cause an upset? X-Terminator self rights, but lands on the wall! They are in trouble! Gravity waits, now gets under! NO! They didn't get X-Terminator out, but X-Terminator back on its side! The disc spins, but it isn't doing anything here. They self-right again, back onto the ground. Turning around to face Gravity who is unrelenting in its attacks and OH! They went up the front again and this time something came flying off Gravity! The impact flipped them over, but they self-right! It hits the disc again! Sparks fly! Gravity once again overturned, but self-rights. X-Terminator crashes into them and pushes them towards the top of the arena! The disc is ripping into the underbelly of Gravity, is it causing damage, I don't know. Towards Dead Metal goes Gravity! Gravity is in the claws and the saw comes in onto the thin armour! They were on top at the beginning, Gravity, but not now. Dead Metal lets them go. X-Terminator waits though and HITS Gravity in the side. A piece of armour came flying off! That leaves one of the wheels exposed! Gravity turns to flip, but the end of the flipper is badly bent. The last ten seconds count down. A very close fight. X-Terminator draws Gravity up its scoop again and causing havoc to the flipper with that spinning disc. Gravity backs away and turns to get around the side, but X-Terminator counters it.
Cease!
What a fight. Both robots are still mobile. The judges will make their decision, based on Style, Control, Damage and Aggression.

Right, since many people think I'm gonna be thrown OOTA, I have additional tactics. I'll stay in the middle of the arena, and try to drive off of Tsunami's wedge if he's wedged me at all.

From Toronto, in Canada, MacDuff the 4th!
A box with six wheels, 30mph top speeds and interchangable weapons including lifting forks, and a flipper. Its invertible, but the wheels are exposed and how effective are its weapons?
From Bavaria, in Germany, Tsunami!
Heat finalists in the last series. They have a Co2 powered flipper that can throw anything out of the arena. Its fast and manouvrable, but the armour is weak.

House Robots: Matilda and Shunt
3-2-1: Activate!
The newcomers, Macduff the 4th, are up against a very powerful machine, but will that stop them. They have the lifting forks for this match, and are skirting around the side of Tsunami, waiting for a moment to strike...but Tsunami gets there first! Flipping Macduff the 4th over! Macduff the 4th is invertible, so that won't stop it. They charge again and this time get the forks right under Tsunami and push it towards the CPZ! Shunt is waiting and he brings his axe down onto Tsunami, who tries to flip him over! Shunt won't be happy. Macduff the 4th backs away as Tsunami escapes the CPZ. Can they get the forks under again and push them into the pit? Tsunami turns towards the side of Macuff the 4th and flips, but Macduff turns itself to get the forks under once again and roll Tsunami over! Tsunami self-rights. It turns to face Macduff the 4th again, who charges. Tsunami swerves to get under the 15mm ground clearance, but Macduff the 4th too clever for it and sneaks under again! Pushing them this time into Matilda's CPZ! We've seen what that flywheel can do earlier on in the series, so Tsunami...OH! They got hit by Matilda's flywheel and were sent tumbling out of the CPZ! They self-right and come on the attack again. Macduff the 4th presses the pit release button. All it needs to do is get under Tsunami and push it down. Tsunami needs to be aware, though, and it is as it rams Macduff the 4th from the side and FLIPS! Macduff the 4th recovers and tries to get its forks under again. Tsunami slips around the side again, but Macduff the 4th turns and does get under this time. Pushing Tsunami towards the pit! Tsunami flips, but down they go! In a puff of smoke! Macduff the 4th go through to the heat final!

Macduff the 3rd vs. X-Terminator 3
I'm tempted to use either the flipper set-up or the scoop set-up here. The scoop set-up would protect me quite a bit but the flipper would KO XT3 if I got him on his back. So that's what I'm going to do; use the flipper set-up and try to flip XT3 onto his back. He can rip into the 10mm aluminium for all I care, as underneath that is 5mm Hardox. :) And if Matilda's in the arena, try to push him into her flywheel.

Maxus VS Killoteeny VS Xianghua III VS The Unnamed Feeling VS Strike VS Voodoo Chile
Shove Voodoo Chile and Maxus into Kianghua and Killoteeny respectively, because each bot will kill the 2 realies, then get under The Unnamed Feeling and shove him into the CPZ. At the end, shove Killoteeny into Xianghua. But anyways, I'm pretty much dead. If I somehow survive the end, Try to bravely run into the sides of Xianghua.
I can't really be bothered to look up stats, so Killoteeny will simply ram, grapple and pit whichever bot happens to get in its way. :P
Ah yes, the middleweight melee. Can't remember if I gave tactics, but if I did, forget them and go by these ones:

The weapon is a lifting arm in the middle of the robot. Its invertible, and made from Titanium and Polycarbonate.

Off we go! Killoteeny is straight off the mark and crashes into Voodoo Chile, bring its axe down! Voodoo Chile responds with its own axe, only to be shoved and FLIPPED by Xianghua III! Voodoo Chile self-rights. Strike and Maxus head off after The Unnamed Feeling, who turns to take them on. Maxus charges and FLIPS it over! The Unnamed Feeling is invertible, so it chases Maxus away. Strike turns away and is pushed towards the wall by Xianghua III and OUT! NO! Strike stranded against the wall! Can they come down from there? Meanwhile, Killoteeny and Maxus battle it out. Killoteeny brings its axe down onto the top of Maxus, trying to damage the motors within. Xianghua III comes in and flips Killoteeny over! Killoteeny self-rights, and goes looking for Xianghua III, only to be pushed by The Unnamed Feeling into the flame pit. Refbot comes in to have a look at Strike, who is still on its side against the wall. He's counting it out. What a shame for Strike.
1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10!
Sgt Bash comes in and pushes Strike towards the flame pit. Xianghua III turns its attention towards Voodoo Chile, who has pressed the pit release button. Xianghua III FLIPS it over! Voodoo Chile self-rights, only to be rammed by The Unnamed Feeling, who tries to lift them out of the arena! I don't think it can, though. Killoteeny crashes into Xianghua III again, who came rushing across the arena. Down comes its axe, but misses! It can push though, and tries to shove Xianghua III towards the angle grinder. In the meantime, Sgt Bash pushes Strike down the pit! They didn't last too long. Voodoo Chile and Maxus are having a private fight at the bottom of the arena. Maxus lifts Voodoo Chile up, but not over! Is one of the wheels on Voodoo Chile damaged? They are exposed. It comes back down, and its running freely. Turning towards the incoming The Unnamed Feeling, who slides under and lifts it over! Voodoo Chile rights itself with the axe, but now The Unnamed Feeling pushes it towards Sir Killalot! Killoteeny...OH! The axe makes a dent in the top of Maxus! Voodoo Chile has escaped Sir Killalot, but one wheel looks to be flat! Xianghua III comes in from behind and FLIPS it into the pit! Xianghua III on top form, but now Maxus comes in, joined by The Unnamed Feeling. Killoteeny is staying out of trouble as Xianghua III is pushed into Sir Killalot! OH! It tries to flip him over! Big mistake! Sir Killalot grabs hold of Xianghua III and lifts it into the air! Killoteeny bashes into the back of The Unnamed Feeling, who turns around. At the controls, AJ Jackson. He lifts Killoteeny for a moment, but it drops back down and the axe comes in! Sir Killalot drops Xianghua III. It self-rights as the last ten seconds count down. Killoteeny tries to push The Unnamed Feeling towards the pit, but The Unnamed Feeling pushes back. A tug of war, ended as Xianghua III comes in and flips The Unnamed Feeling over!
Cease!
What a right royal rumble! Two robots are out, and four are still standing. It'll go to the judges. They'll be looking at style, control, damage and aggression!

Macduff the 4th has the flipper for this fight, and if it can get under the ground clearance at the back of X-Terminator, then the number 3 seeds would certainly be out. X-Terminator is slow, but it has that disc. In comes Macduff the 4th, from the side. Under it goes and FLIPS! And X-Terminator, as most of us predicted, over it goes! The disc drags it along the arena floor, but no furthur as it crashes into an arena wall! What an attack by Macduff the 4th! They push X-Terminator away, towards the CPZ! In comes Growler, his jaws opened wide! Macduff the 4th backs away and wisely so! X-Terminator...well, what can they do. They can self-right on their sides, but not like this, I don't think. Growler grabs it and takes it over the flame pit! Leaving it there. Refbot has a look as Macduff the 4th comes in again and FLIPS X-Terminator once more. OH! And X-Terminator right way up again, but stuck on the wall! They were in a similar position in their first round fight, but got away. Can they do it here? I don't think so. Macduff the 4th waits its moment. If they leave X-Terminator, they'll be counted out. And I think thats whats going to happen. Macduff the 4th, laying off. Sportsmanship, a good thing to see as X-Terminator is counted out!

This is the draw I was hoping for - a slow, boxy bot with poor traction. Checking its dimensions, Pickaxe of Doom should easily fit inside my crusher, so attack from the sides to avoid the axe, scoop it up, clamp it hard and dump it in the Pit ASAP.

A box wedge with 25mph speeds and a powerful flipper. Its made from Hardox and Titanium, and powered by 2 24v Magmotors, but the Co2 supply is limited.
From Durham, in Durham, the number 4 seeds, Firestorm V!
Three times a grand finalist, knocked out in the semi final last time. The Co2 powered flipper can throw robots out of the arena, but with 2WD, its not the best pusher around.

Firestorm V would be the crowd favourite here. They slide under the side of Crooked Evo but miss a chance there! Crooked Evo turns around but Firestorm V gets under again and FLIPS it over! Crooked Evo self-rights, but uses up one of its flips there. How many does it have? They pursue Firestorm V and now it gets under the back and flips! Firestorm V up but not over! A flipper frenzy out there in the arena! Firestorm V swings around, missing another flip by Crooked Evo and gets under the front this time, pushing towards the CPZ! Shunt is waiting and he brings the axe down onto the 8mm Hardox armour. Crooked Evo...OH, they flipped Shunt! Crooked Evo out of the way, but flipping Shunt over! Firestorm V finds its way under again! Flipping Crooked Evo over, but they self-right. Not too high a ground clearance on Crooked Evo, only 6mm at the back. Firestorm V can get under that easily though. Sliding under the side once again and pushing them into the side wall. Can they get Crooked Evo out!? Crooked Evo tries to flip itself free, but Firestorm V is relentless! It's on its side now, Crooked Evo, against the wall, but it self-rights from there. Firestorm V turns around and away, but Crooked Evo catches up and FLIPS them over now! Could the fight still be turned around? Firestorm V self-rights. Two evenly matched robots here. Firestorm V out of trouble now, heading towards the pit release button! Down goes the pit. In comes Crooked Evo to try and flip again, but Firestorm V gets there first and pushes them into Sir Killalot's CPZ! Crooked Evo can't flip him over! Sir Killalot's claws grab hold of the side of Crooked Evo, and crumples the titanium armour! Lifting it up. Firestorm V looks on. Killalot drops Crooked Evo back to earth. Firestorm V comes in but slides UP the front of Crooked Evo this time! Crooked Evo pushes across the arena, towards the wall and FLIPS! Firestorm V not out, but on its side! They self-right and turn to face Crooked Evo again. What a fantastic fight this is. Aggression by both robots. Firestorm V does slip under the side of Crooked Evo this time and flips it over again. It self-rights, and the flipper still works. The last ten seconds count down. Firestorm V chases by Crooked Evo. Firestorm V swings around but almost flipped there by Crooked Evo. Now THEY get underneath and towards the wall!
Cease!
Shunt flipped over! The house robots won't be happy! Both robots still mobile so the judge's will make their decision on who goes through.

While I wait for your reviews, I'll put a few fun facts about Robot Wars up that I've learned:
1: The Grannies Revenge team made Purple Predator in Series 3
2: Indefagitable wasn' the second robot to go out of the arena. According to my book, Atomic flipped Reactor out of the arena in the Series Four Qualifier (Probably more went as well)
3: The spring on Mousetrap's trap does not power it. It is just a piece of garden hose made to look like it powers the trap
4: Dome's stat sheet says it has experience. I went on Youtube and apparently they had a robot called Samuari that went to the Series Three Qualifier, but obviously didn't get in
5: The Victor team made The Kraken

An oddly shaped robot with two horizontal crushers that come together when the opponent is in its grasp. Invertible, the fastest in this fight at 15mph, but a 10mm ground clearance could leave it open to attack from flippers.

House Robots: Sgt Bash and Dead Metal
3-2-1: Activate!
Traffic Warden is a unique looking robot. It heads straight for Pickaxe of Doom and rams into the side of it! Pickaxe of Doom, slow, but down comes the axe onto the top of Traffic Warden! That doesn't stop Traffic Warden, with Steven McGregor at the controls. It pushes Pickaxe of Doom against the wall and starts to crush it! This is a weapon like none other I've ever seen. Pickaxe of Doom hits it again, but Traffic Warden isn't releasing its grip! Now it does, and Pickaxe of Doom is away, but Traffic Warden is right behind. They turn around, and Traffic Warden pushes them towards the pit release button. Pickaxe of Doom escapes again. Traffic Warden gives chase and shoves it into Sgt Bash's CPZ! Sgt Bash is waiting and he grabs hold of the front of Pickaxe of Doom with his claws and makes a horrible gash in the wedge! Pickaxe of Doom uses its axe to try and free itself, but Sgt Bash lets it go anyway. Traffic Warden is on top here. Pickaxe of Doom turns around and hits it again. If they can penetrate the 4mm Titanium armour on Traffic Warden, they could immobolise it. Traffic Warden isn't deterred and once again shoves Pickaxe of Doom against the wall. The crushing arms hold it in place, there is no escape, I'm afraid! Pulling it away, Traffic Warden, and turning towards the pit! Pickaxe of Doom hacks away at the top of Traffic Warden, but its not letting go. DOWN goes Pickaxe of Doom! Traffic Warden through to the heat final!

Tactics: Get on the flipper of Flow, then drive off and let him flip himself over. Then, get underneath him and flip him OOTA. If he self-rights before I can OOTA him, then repeat the process to flip him over, get him OOTA, etc. Then go after Skink's sides, get underneath, flip OOTA, enough said.
Two problems wrong with that tactic:
1. Your wheels will most likely leave the ground when you get wedged onto the flipper.
2. The opponent will be driving forward even if you are able to escape the wedge.
