Ive just finished some new movie media for our cool projector screens.. and i beleive were filming some stuff early saturday for a few laughs for the screens. Some new cool funny stuff.

Apocalypse not looking to good for tomorrow, cant seem to get the pneumatics working properly. Still got some time in the morning. DB5 is ready to go as always.

Cabraken is nearly there.
Just finished working on it and it still needs a bit of work in the morning. One armor panel, wire in LEDs and finishing mounting removable top panel with welded nuts.
Its all ready moving around quite nicely with the chissel. Cya guys tomorrow, or today even.

Sounds good all - im still awake for some reason.. well im sorting some last minute media footage out for our ace projectors... and some other stuff....

Andrew - bring it in mate, come and join in some white boards! hehe. Good luck Ed with the pneumatics and nice one Marco, looking forward to it!

Ok might go to bed in a min, up at 5am, venue for 7am, then bed tonight will prob be 2am after drinks haha, so need sleep now, night all.

well just got back

our bots worked good and the event was really amazing

most people ive seen watching and some of the fights were really good

highlights have to be beast wrecking the floor (again?) and most certainly Thor what a robot

Cheers Joey....Envy did work well i was pleased all in all. Still i have found yet another prob in for form of a dodgy brush in the motor which hindered things a little. But wont the comp fight and did well in melees. Now to Thor.....We have worked very very hard and percivered with Thor and the results are starting to show. Dtk did get a beating but remember it was still driving at the end of the fight....a testement to a very good robot. We are very pleased tho and look forward to the next event :) :) :)

Dtk got a few beatings but remember still drove at the end of the fights Very inpressive

yeap 87kgs it weighs, would put axe back on but then its back to iffy selfrighting (lol)

and all i can say Johnno WHAT A SELLOUT!!!

Superb event. Cabrakan performed fantastically, we were all dead chuffed to come 3rd (!!!).
Congrats to Thor for doing what even Major Damage couldnt do and finally stopping us.
Thanks to everyone who worked so hard running it, and for the many Cabrakan compliments, we love you all. Bring on the videos!

Agree with Lawrie, great event and fun to get fighting with a heavy.
Funny how from fluke and luck Cabrakan being a non competitive robot was in a final with big nipper, beast, tiberious and mighty thor. Of course none of the armor panels line up after getting hit by thor a bit too many times and of course major damage having a kill on site with us lol. But yeah....third, unbelevable.
Gratz on thor, thanks and sorry to Edd W for beating him in such a cheap way and helping me change the wotty over to the feather.
Looks like im going to have to make Cabraken instructable if lawrie keeps picking fights with good robots

That was an excellent event, well done Jonno and the rest of the RR Crew for making a good show!

I have to say, I really did enjoy myself if not having Storm Force voted as the underdog most of the time by the crowd. The media was excellent, and the effort put into the show to make it spectacular was phenomenal. A shame Pugs battery fell out in both its fights, but I hope to get that sorted in the next couple of days, I have to say how I also loved it in the break between the 2 shows today when we listened to the music and had fun with the media, dancing to Scooter was a good example! Some of the fights really surprised me as well like when St Hammer looked the more aggressive in their fight with Beast and when Dantomkia came out looking flat as a pancake after the punishment it took from its fights with Thor and Tiberius! Id like to say a couple of thank yous as well, particularly to Sean, Shane, Tom, David and John for helping me out during the show, ur all a great bunch :)

My photos are yet to follow as well and well done to Thor for winning the competition, Those who are going to Newcastle next month, see you there!

Sounds like a good event overall then...Thor did really well, Envy did well, Cabraken not only survived but beat people (!) and it seems as though apart from the dodgy webcam no problems were had with the event at all...what can I say but well done to everyone and especially Jonno, Stu & co. for making everyone happy :)

Great event, nice to see another large audience.

Maelstrom seemed to work well in the end, got the flipper working how it should now and got a bit more speed from the drive.

Well done to Thor and Little Flipper for winning.

Also if anyone has any videos of Maelstrom could you let me know please

Will, Ive got one of the first fight with Cabrakan, Maelstrom, Big Nipper and Horton. It will be going on youtube when I get home tonight.
Maelstrom was very impressive, and a contender to look out for in the future.

Well what an event !!

Thankyou for all that attended and your hard work !!

Congratulations to Thor ( finally ) on winning something... I know how much hard work and development has gone into that machine... certainly starting to take over Terrorhurtzs reputation for hurting things !

And Well done to Little Flipper 2.

Robot of the event has to be Cabraken, a fantastic first event for it ! Well done boys !

Best fight moment for me has to be Big Nipper vs Major Damage, that was comical, and the crowd loved it when it drove back in... nice to see it being used !!

I notice a few of you are starting to have a go at him, I would recommend you dont, remember the pressure is on its minimum at the moment :-)

Beast tried to flip him.... no chance !!!

You will be pleased to know the floor has now been binned this morning.... it was always going to be its last event, but it did take a hammering.... 2 new layers for cardiff now I have some funds in the bank !

Day off today, and then straight into PR work for Cardiff, just hope we can repeat the sales all year, but 2009 is already looking pretty good in the RR camp !!

Your lucky he didnt give me the controls like normal.. but when he starts getting into the comp fights more with Ripper, ill get the controls of Major Damage - then your all in trouble!!!
