WYSIWYG perhaps? It was a basic wooden wedge in Series 1 of RW.
Or you could check out the new database on the brilliant new Roaming Robots site- its much improved!
quote:
No srimech? n00b! Biohazard to go through.
Apparently you didnt see Tira IIIs fight with Wedgas Revenge in Returners.
haha, yeah, Biohazard SOOOOOOOOOOOO has a srimech XD
gimme this one
http://www.roamingrobots.co.uk/?pages=robot&id=1074http://www.roamingrobots.co.uk/?pages=robot&id=1074
Well, it DID, but since the rear skirt came into play, it isnt able to. I think the rear corners of the side skirts have an effect too.
Neither Biohazard or Tira can self right, but as Bio is so low to the ground and has a lifting weapon, it is clearly the favourite in this battle. :proud:
Maybe you didnt know of a certain robot...it was able to hit Bio...lemme think...ah yes, it was called Nightmare. :proud:
And it lost. Twice. :proud:
Bio will PWN Tira!!!
Tiras disc is more powerful than Nightmares. :proud:
EDIT: All right, since you all seem to predict that Im going to lose here, lets just put in some GOOD tactics to prove you all wrong. :P
Tira III vs. Biohazard
Basically avoid the front arm, go for the panels around it, the sides, the rear, its all good. The titanium armour should be mulched immediately. Really, I should be able to flip him in just one hit, something Nightmare has no chance of doing. Plus, Biohazard never flipped Nightmare , and that would be because of its wide stance. Tira generally has the same stance, so Biohazard shouldnt be able to flip at all if the disc if still spinning, and I doubt he would even if it werent. Maybe take a risk and go for the arm to disable it.

BioHazard! BioHazard! BioHazard!
Destroy Tira! Destroy Tira! Destroy Tira!
Im going for Tira :proud:
Thats fine Martijn!Skink is your featherweight.
Just Frank now then...
Meh, I have seen the future, and the future holds that BioHazard wins in eight seconds...
Then again, the future also holds that I will get a life, that little children will be made illegal, and that my name shall be remembered for all time as the greatest ruler the universe has seen, so make of that what you will :proud:
Dennis the Menace! Dennis the Menace! Dennis the Menace!
Destroy Flick of the Wrist! Destroy Flick of the Wrist! Destroy Flick of the Wrist!:angry::angry:
I didnt expect such excitement over the draws!
I made them completely randomly (closed my eyes and mixed them up) then made sure nobody was fighting themselves in the heats!
As for Tira III v Bio-Hazard, at the moment it could go either way...
You could have used the Random Sequence Generator :proud:
Say what?
http://www.random.orghttp://www.random.org :)
You should find it in there
Thanks, now let me rant alone please.
ALL THAT ******* CONFUSING WORK FOR ********* ALL!!!!!GGAHHH
Thankyou
You still have to go through and check that there arent any clashes, which is a pain in the buttocks, but it saves you from feeling too sad :P
Im pretty sure there arent any clashes, I checked them. But please say if there is one.
I dont want to start without Frank because hes in the first battle and I dont think he knows about any of the changes and stuff.Best wait til tommorrw at least.
No, I meant that you still have to check for clashes even if you do use the random generator...although if you did a seperate sequence for everyone who entereds robots, then put them in order, that might work...
...way off topic now, sorry :proud:
Yeah, if theres a conflict, make it so that Tira III faces Flick of the Wrist please. :proud:
Yeah that random sequence generator is more annoying than manually sortinng out line-ups.
Fo this tourn, I would have basically taken 1 robot from each person and out them into 8 groups.
example
Martijn robot A in heat A
Martijn robot B in heat B
Joey robot A in heat A
Joey robot B in heat B
Kody robot A in heat A
Kody robot B in heat B
That way there would not be any clashes in terms of someone having two robots in the same heat. Individual matches can then be sorted easily. :)
Thats sort of what I did...
But enough on this!
I want this to be a tournament again, not a nice little chat about the random draws!!
FRANK!
Your online!
Please enter a middleweight and a featherweight!!
Vlad the Impaler has shockproofing against impacts, and the 6mm titanium armour should protect me from Sakuras blades.
No it wont Mark. And can I ask anyone OTHER than Mark if Vald really had shock-proofing or fi he just added it on.
The present era one does, so it can be protected against robots like Nightmare and Mechavore, should he face them very soon.
...Vlad The Impaler II?
Yes.
Its common knowledge that they built a new Vlad after series 4.0 of Battlebots, because the old one was becoming obsolete. The new one is basically the old one with a new plate weapon, shockproofing, a silver paint job, and LOCTITE written on top. Ive seen it before.

It just says Vald The Impaler, not Vlad The Impaler II. Sorry Mark.
...and Vlad II didnt have lifting forks, it had some sort of plate at the front that apparently lifted up and down...Spitfire (which if I remember correctly was Dantomkia in drag) beat it in Battlebots 5.
Well, regardless, the original one had some shockproofing, and strong armour, but it was later defeated badly in Series 4.0, so they built a new one.
Frank must have been online earlier as he commented on other threads, but no on this one!
GAH!
Mark- Stop changing everything!Your vapours are as they were stated when you entered them, no more useless posts please its bogging up the tournament.
Also, all we need to do is wait fo Frank to tell us his middleweight and featherweight, and we can start this tourney.
Liam, for the introduction of our robots, maybe you should use an introduction similar to the one Joey McConnell uses in the Chevron Championship.
I only used that intro because of the format of the tournament - in series 1/2 (which TCC is based on) they had all the robots do a stars in their eyes style entrance before any action actually happened, and I happened to rather like this bit so I did it. It wouldnt really work for somethng like this because it makes more sense to introduce them before each fight...besides, its Liams tournament and its up to him how he does it.
On a relevant note, Id just start without Frank unless you had a featherweight match that needed him in the middle of the first heat or something.
MARK!!
I said no more useless posts!!
But there is 1 thing I need you to do-
I cant remember anything about Hazard (your middleweight realie). Please post a link to stats and a picture, or tell me where I can find them.
