Entries after this weekend are nearly full in the heavyies and full in the feathers

running and Annihilator event too so get yourselves signed up for too


Also i require 2 feathers for promo shoot, must be fully working and not require any gas (or must be full of CO2 if its pneumatic) and be able to get to london

The final deadline for entries is coming, youve got 10 days left to enter, and we only have the final places of the heavyweight division left. Were the first event since Robot wars (to my knowlledge) to run ALL 5 weight divisons in the UK, And some good news, Due to additional funding there will be NO ENTRY FEES

Might be tempted to try a middleweight for next year - got a couple of those eBay Bosch 400s kicking about needing a use and a middleweight might be more achieveable than a heavy for me. Need to try my hand at something bigger than feathers :)

I can only even remember 3 LWs from RW anyway, and one of them never moved. There probabaly was more than 1 in series 2, but it never got televised

Plus Mammoth in several of its incarnations would have counted as a LW considering the double weight limit for walkers rule.

It was actually only one of the typhoon twins, typhoon thunder, that was in the lightweight contest as both robots were lightweight machines.

can we have sponsor logos on the robots craig?

not confirmed yet so i dont want to be a fool and say iv got a really good sponsor :P but its a big company :) and people emailing them asking :P

we got 2 burkerts sponsored by some company called hi-force which should be coming on friday and some more in a few months off them

and we paid for 2 last week! lol can never have too many though

I havnt paid for a single piece of my new machine and theres no logos going on it either :)

Going to have a board and sponsors names on posters etc.

we dont have to but it looks better when you have sponsors on imo

hopefully they supply us with stickers when the goods come

Not sure about having sponsors plastered all over the robot like some of the americans did though.
