Actualy Shane, the drive was concieved and designed by the Dutch roboteer Inventor.
Im only the guy who made a few of them for others.

Geoff: Satanix has the same drive system as swannys but on 18v, and that calculates to 20MPH. Swannys is going to get clocked for speeding in a 30 zone :)
PS: His missus is a bit miffed at him leaving tyre marks on the floor :P

What actuator is that again Alex? Its got good speed and if its power/crushing capability is equally as good then youre on to a winner. Think I ought to upgrade to something similar; the actuator Ive got planned for Snakebite has a max of 400kg crush and full travel takes 35 seconds

da bomb is looking good its sprayed green and has a toxic sign on the front
the flipper and chassis have been cut out of a sheet of 4mm polycarb and the chassis has been connected to the armor with hinges allowing easy access to the inner workings.
a 12v battle-pack is mounted on the chassis and 3 electronizes are on the way...
i will get some pics up soon

@Jamie the actuator is a Linac Minipac it weighs 3.4kg
there are usually some decent ones on the us ebay but postage can be high

looks well cool - what are RC planning on doing with there lights now, cus i can see them getting smashed now lol
it was a block of steel 7kg.. it would of gone higher then that but it hit a light fitting- then a steel I beam on the factory roof.. slowed it down abit.. we worked out away of giving it even more speed to the flip since then anyhow :)
I think there going to be putting cages or somthing around the lights
btw john that video link you posted was for the old flow- not much is the same on the new one.

That block was actually 7.6kg, went upto the neam about 2ft above that light, and hit the light on its way back down.
Kennys made a pretty good job this time. oh, its in the weight so far aswell lol
well ye u mainly only need 1 flip in the competitions but in play fights he will need to clear the arena and even flip out the beautys :P lol
