Just came back from Guildford. Had a great time thanks to all at RR and all the other guys, looking forward to UK champs. :)
I was told of this event at short notice and thought it would be nice to make an appearance; albeit robotless!
It was good to see some familiar faces as well as meeting a few new roboteers.
I will return to this robot building game once I find some of the elusive disposable income that I hear people talking about :)
Dom, or when you stop buying expencive tools that you never use (and dont actually work).... Had a good time yesterday, thanks to jonno for letting me into the pits, and to all the guys i spoke to for advice.
Has anyone put some video on U Tube? as Zack wants to see Saint Hammer with the pick axe in action. :)
So would I.
Hope U guys had a good time, is Supernova coming out of retirement Suren?
This was a great event- I cant believe how lucky Aftershock was!

Sorry trevor once again for what major damage did..... pure accident .... was funny though.
Ok so feather weights can stop the monster.. like putting a car on bricks !!
Of course there was no pint putting a new floor down for guildford, better to wait for the UK champs.

no pint
Thats it, Im not coming then:)
oops.. i was tired.... now nice and refreshed !!! :)
Does anyone have any photos of Luke collecting his trophy as my camera died at the time.
Luke was really pleased to win the Tanja Memorial Trophy. Slept all the way back in the van clinging onto it and rushed in to show his mum when I dropped him off.
Just a shame Hydra played up again. Really annoying when all you need to do is make up a lead and you looked at the connectors on the way out and thought nah I wont need them.
Andy
how many people look at things on their way out and say to themselves nah i wont need that and need it. its like nah i wont need that syndrome. i have done it loads of times
i think we do it every event lol
Unfortunately I could hear the relays for the weapons firing irratically so i developed Im not shoving my hand in there to turn that on syndrome:mrgreen:
Has anyone any videos on the web yet? :)
Still no videos :uhoh:
Its not often The Saint wins a fight I want to see it again
:proud:
they are coming, stu is just busy finishing uni!!
Thanks Jonno :)
