i will just try and stop them in there tracks and confusem them by making them float in the air, i will use my powers to smack them into walls and each other
Well that was quick. Update next post.
Misty€™s garage
Funkie Junkie tries to use his powers to open the gates, but they€™re locked and the locking mechanism is too fiddly for him to manipulate. He has to give up on this, as a biker takes a swing at him with a length of chain. Although he stops this using his power, another biker punches him in the face, knocking him over. The two bikers look set to gang up on Funkie Junkie, but his bacon is saved by Psy and Marathon.
Psy grabs hold of one of the bikers with her power, and although she can€™t lift him, manages to pull him into the other, allowing Marathon to trip both of them up.
As Funkie Junkie gets back to his feet, Blur, realising no-one is going to have time to open the gates for him, starts to climb up. He is unsettled, and almost knocked off when something crashes into the gate, but he can€™t see what. Clutching hold for dear life, he continues climbing upwards.
Knowing he doesn€™t have the physical strength to take on the bikers in a fist fight, Mephistopheles targets the bikers holding lengths of two by four, and sets their weapons on fire, causing them to drop them. Marathon and Psy are both running interference with the bikers, literally in Marathon€™s case, and the two greatly disrupt the bikers. Funkie Junkie manages to lift some crates and hurl them at the bikers, while Stomper wades in with his fists. The one with a flick knife comes in at Stomper, but Psy grabs his weapon with her telekinesis. He tries to hold on to it, but is pitched forwards face first and ends up with a broken nose.
Meanwhile, Blur has finally gotten to the top of the gate, but the gates start shaking! Unable to keep hold any longer, he falls off the top of the gate. Disaster for Blur is averted, however, as he crashes into something on the way down. Although Blur is knocked unconscious, the something is also knocked senseless, and an eleventh biker appears on the floor under Blur. By this time, the others have all succumbed either to Stompers fists, Funkie Junkie€™s crate throwing, or have been knocked over by Marathon or Psy.
You now have eleven unconscious bikers, but what are you going to do with them?
Marathon€™s proficiency up by 5.
Psy€™s proficiency up by 4.
Funkie Junkie€™s proficiency up by 6.
Mephistopheles proficiency up by 1.
Tie them up, make them tell us where their leader is when they come to, then go back to OHara and show her we ARENT a bumbling bunch of idiots. :P
A vote on this, anyone?
Super-duper! (if youll forgive the pun) :proud:
Interrogation, eh? Might this perchance be an oppertunity for me to use my Lucky Feather of Doom?
Whatever happens, I can help transport the bikers to the Police Station. Should we giftwrap them, you think?
I agree with Tony. Whilst the others get OHara, Ill remain hidden and see if the bikers spill any goss when they regain consciousness
We aught to investigate whats in thier buildign first of all, get some evidence, cos otherwise I might just have set the bikes of some innocent bystanders on fire and they attacked us for revenge.
An alternate way of using Steves feather is to set it on fire beneath their noses.
i say dont go in the building cause were just going to get in trouble if we do, i say we some interrogation
Tie them up, interrogate, then give the police a present. Good job guys!
Also, we should explore the office, except Psy, who should look over the bikers with Stomper. See what we can find. Then go back to Guardian HQ and discuss our stuff.
The coolest thing in the world, though, would be to take the bikers back to the police station on their own bikes!
Six of you, eleven of them. Do the maths Scott :p
As youve all posted, that means I get to do an early update.
Misty€™s Garage
There is a quick discussion between the Guardians about what should be done next. Mephistopheles wants to go into the office, but Psy isn€™t too keen on the idea, wanting to interrogate the bikers instead. Psy doesn€™t convince Mephistopheles not to go into the office, and Funkie Junkie agrees that the office would be a good place to investigate, so Psy gives up and helps Marathon and Stomper tie the bikers up.
This turns out to be a problem, though, as there is no rope in evidence. Then Psy notices that all the bikers are wearing belts, and things go from there€¦ Blur is still unconscious from landing head first on one of the bikers, so they make sure he€™s comfy.
Mephistopheles turns his attention to the office door. It€™s locked, but not sturdy, and he manages to open it with a couple of kicks. It turns out that the office is completely empty, save for a briefcase. It looks like the Shadows had been hanging around to ambush you, and the lights in the office were a decoy.
Stomper meanwhile has struck up a conversation with one of the bikers, asking him which one the leader is. He nods towards the one Blur landed on, who has come around. When asked about their activities in Misty€™s, he just says €œYou€™re too late. We already sold the crystals.€ He won€™t say any more than that.
So what next?
I think someone needs a chat with my friend Hewlit, possibly soemone who could buckle his wheels out fo shape for persuasion purposes. The rest should go back to HQ and see what we can dig up, I want to do soem training there once I get there as Im pretty low down at this moment.
Check the Breifcase [Hey, you never know, something just MIGHT be in it] take anything of importince, then go with Alex to Aces to confront Hewlit if he wants to. [Im not going alone though]
I know I said I wouldnt give any help, but Id hate to see the first mission end on a bad note, so Ill just say this... You still have eleven tied up bikers you need to deal with. Theyre not going to jail via mystic law powers, you know :p
With our combined speed and strength, Stomper and I can help take the bikers to HQ before maybe taking a trip to Aces.
Just tell us which ones you want to question and well just take them back last
Ah, right! The bikers! Well, Hewlit can wait for now, so ill check the breifcase, take anything importint inside it, and take the bikers to Ohara with Steve.
Im about to do some NSBFL fights *sound of people fainting* and if Martyn, Scott and Dan havent action-ated by then theyll be out of time.
interigate the bikers with psys girly charms
Interrogation, police, then regroup at Guardian HQ and go to bed.
Woo, hundredth post:proud:
Misty€™s garage
Mephistopheles and Stomper talk briefly about going to see Jerry Hewlit, but decide against it. Mephistopheles then decides to go back to Guardian H.Q to do some training, leaving the other five to deal with the bikers.
While the other four interrogate the bikers some more, Stomper opens the briefcase. Inside is a lot of money, presumably the biker€™s payment for the night crystals. He closes it again.
Meanwhile, the others aren€™t having much luck with the bikers, as they refuse to say anything. Psy even tries flirting with them, but this has about as much effect as trying to put out a fire with a flame thrower.
While doing all this, they don€™t notice the leader disappearing along with his bonds, leaving only a faint shadow on the ground. The other bikers do, and exchange side-long glances as the Guardians decide what to do next. Eventually, they decide to just take the bikers to the police and let them sort it out.
As they then discuss the problems involved with five people moving eleven bikers that don€™t want to be moved, Marathon notices that where the leader was is now just a belt, as undetected he has freed himself from his make-shift bindings. They search for him, but as they do so, he is freeing his gang. The Guardians notice what€™s going on at last and rush to stop them, but to no avail. As they fight with the few who are free, the others struggle free and join in the fray. Marathon and Funkie Junkie are punched to the ground, and while Psy is able to stop them for a while with her powers, she is unable to detect someone creeping up behind her while she is occupied, and she is ambushed by the invisible leader and knocked unconscious. Blur and Stomper put up more of a fight, but are mobbed and beaten unconscious also. The bikers saddle up on their bikes, with the now bike-less one riding with a mate, grab the briefcase and ride off. All that€™s left is a burnt out motorcycle, three Guardians out cold and two who are just groggily getting to their feet.
€œI think,€ Marathon grunts €œThat in reflection it would have been easier to take the police to the bikers rather than the other way around.€Â
Funkie Junkie ruefully agrees. The others don€™t stay unconscious for long, and are up, if not fully with it, in a few minutes.
Guardian H.Q
Mephistopheles arrives, unaware of what€™s happened, and does some training.
Mephistopheles€™ proficiency up by 4.
The others then arrive and tell him what happened in his absence. It seems the only thing you can do is to go to the police station and tell them what happened.
Police station
On the way to the station, Funkie Junkie gloomily predicts just what O€™Hara is going to do to you. Testicles and blunt spoons figure largely in this. It is therefore something of a relief that instead of O€™Hara, the Chief Inspector himself wants to see you.
€œYou look like you€™ve been in the wars,€ he comments. €œWhat€™s happened?€Â
The Guardians had never actually seen someone so in despair that they hold their head in their hands, but that€™s exactly what Lambert is doing by the time you€™ve finished. He€™s not exactly sobbing, but it seems this is an option.
€œSo let me get this straight,€ he growls when you€™re finished. €œYou had a lead, failed to tell us about it, tried to take in a gang of eleven men restrained with nothing but their own belts without transport. During the brief time you had the situation under control, you€ he says this rounding on Stomper €œYou had the bright idea of opening the briefcase which would have made forensics on the thing a nightmare, thus muddying the one piece of evidence we had barring a piece of CCTV footage which would have given us a case against one of them, possibly giving us the others on conspiracy and association. Feel free to interrupt if there€™s something I€™ve missed!€Â
The only reply is an awkward silence. Eventually Lambert sighs, and continues.
€œThere€™s going to be a Gifted meet in three days. You might want to show your faces there, so try and find out about it. And if you see any crimes happening try not to let all the evidence and criminals vanish!€Â
For failing to catch the Shadows and potentially wrecking the legal case against them, you lose 10 public opinion points.

Guardian H.Q
Aces
Hahahah! You all got beaten up! Anyways, now I have stopped gloating, my plans.
I suggest that in the time before the meet in 3 days a couple of us go to interogate Hewlitt to see if he has any more info.
As a note for future, if I ever find myself confronting an invisible person I will create a spiral of flame around myself so if they punch me they get burnt.
Ah crap. Its not looking good for us. Now since the Police REALLY think were idiots now [Espically me] We have to do anything we can to change that. Well go to the meeting in the next three days, but for now, Im going with Alex to see Hewlitt. Anyone else wanting to tag along?
...youre a real bitch, Frank. :lame:
Well, I dont know WHAT to do now. Ill tag along with someone, I guess, if anyone wants. Although after our recent string of defeats, a trip to the Dark Side might not be such a bad idea... :proud:
Yes, Steven, I am incredibly sorry the bad guys object to going to jail :P
The way this is going, we should start a Death Pool :P I bet this lasts another 5 days before they lose all public opinion.
Tell you what, someone (not me) who doesnt have anythign to do go and hope odl ladies across the street until its time for the meet.
Haha, I remember typing that we should call the police in one of my earlier tactic things. Oops :proud:
Ah well, Im with Tom, I think Ill start my own gang with the only member being me! Not, Im going back to HQ to mope around, listen to music and train. Itd probably be a good idea to go to the meet, and the others can go to Aces.
You said someone should. No-one said they were actually going to do said thing.
Sorry about yesterdays lack of update. Once again, life happened instead.
Ill go to the meet.
It would help to find out where it is first, then wait until the right time in three days. Thats unless you want Blur put on standby til then...? :p
Guardian H.Q
Despondent over the first mission, the Guardians just mope around until they go to bed, although Funky Junkie gets some training in.
Funky Junkie€™s proficiency up by 5.
Aces
Mephistopheles decides to go to Aces and see if Hewlit is there. He isn€™t, but the bar is a bit fuller than the last time he was there. The pool tables are all occupied by what looks like a group of friends having a pool tournament, various groups of people are at the tables, and a tall woman with gold skin and green hair is standing at the bar. Johnny the lizard man is not in evidence, but there is a solid-built man with sandy hair and an honest, open face and a small woman with faintly blue skin behind the bar.
Frank: I said I was going with Alex to Aces. But I suppose I can go there now.
First, Im training.
Then, Ill killing Frank. :lame:
Ill talk to the small woman to see if she knows anything ro can give me any insight upon anything.
I shall do some more training.
Sorry Tony. Youre now at Aces:proud:
Guardian H.Q
When Funky Junkie is done training, Marathon and Blur use the training room.
Marathon€™s proficiency up by 3.
Blurs proficiency up by 1
Aces
Mephistopheles and Stomper move over to the bar and talk to the blue skinned barmaid.
€œWhat can I get you?€ she asks.
€œActually I wanted to ask you something,€ Mephistopheles replies.
€œYeah, like what?€Â
Mephistopheles doesn€™t seem to have a firm question in mind though. When he hesitates, she continues.
€œLook, it€™s really busy in here. If it€™s about the meet in three days, speak to Ace,€ she says, indicating the sandy haired man, before going off to take an order.
Ill go talk to this Sany haired man and ask everythign bout night crystals and any gifted who ride bikes that he knows of, tell him the vague story but ignore our involvement with the authorities and see if he knows anything.
Ill carry on training
See what the woman with gold skin knows about the Shadows and Night crystals.
