Tag Team Rules
I been thinking of how to do the rules for creating the 4 teams, I though of asking everybody to send me an email with their order of choices which will remain private on a first-come, first-serve basis, but this was taken down. Then the idea was to do a 8-number search on random.com to do the teaming at random, but this seems to be unfair as the teams might not be the best.
If I open the floodgates, everybody will be asking for a couple of people and it is embrassing for the person left on their own at the end, who wasnt ask. Hence I have come back to the 2nd idea.

And by running a random number search using http://www.random.org/sform.htmlhttp://www.random.org/sform.html, the following teams will be used:

Flu-Bot The 2nd. & SD IV
RIGGED & The Catus
Sorry that you cant pick your own teams, but I dont want a fight breaking out over something simple as Hey, I asked him first etc etc.

Obviously I wont go near flubot, as itll be a VERY bad matchup for me. basically hope powerpoint can handle Flubot. And for SDIV, easy. Just get to the sides, i should be able to get under, and then start letting the blade chew away. If I get a KO, ill help matt with flubot. I should be lower, and im faster, so ill get to his sides and try to pit him.
In case people were wondering, the arena is the series 4 Tag-Team RW arena, with one robot being allowed out from each team at once. The rule isnt followed to the letter, but in case of a judges decision, the team which stays to the letter will be given more points.
If the fight goes to the judges, if your team has been reduced to 1 robot and the other is 2, you dont lose automatically, but you have an uphill fight in the decision itself.

If flu-bot starts out, tag in Powerpoint. If SDIV gets tagged in, ill ask Powerpoint to pull out so i can take over. Basically, Ill just tear it up with my weapon, and when I can shove him right into the pit. Then, put him in, and tag in matt, as hes the better pusher, to get flubot in the pit, as hes the better pusher. If that fails, try to push flubot in myself.
Yeah, Im with that. I had this weird feeling id be paired up with Tony :P
When Im shoving, Ill always use the forks to lift the front wheels off the ground firstr, meaning they wont be able to drive anywehre but upwards. Then we manouvre and pit.

Depending on which robot goes out first for the other team will depend on which one of us goes out first I guess.
Seeing as this is a competition where you are tyring to MAXIMISE the points earned, wouldnt it make sense to at leats give us one chance to try and pick partners?
Putting us at random can really screw over someone if they are paired with a joke entry...
Just one chance, and if it doesnt work, feel free to go to the random number generator.

Dont wanna sound like a nagging idiot here, but I kinda thought the whole point of tag teams was to pair with a bot best suited to complement your own. 101 and King B didnt get that trophy due to a random pairing, yknow.
Just my little $0.02 and you decide to stick with the initial system, then Ill go for Powerpoint and see if I can slip the saw underneath. Failing that, shove around with the greater pushy power and cast it into the Pit :)
I will give people one chance to pair up with each other, but if there is any arguments from Person 1 saying hey person 2, I asked person 3 first and it turns into a full argument, then the random teams will be redrawn.

That is...unless he DOES want to be with me still. Though I have an icling Tom only bought it up cos HE wanted to be with Steve-O.
Actually, Tom and myself both wanted to pair each other. Our pairing proved a huge success back in the various FRW tag teams and this was kinda going to be us getting back to that winning formula.
Nothing personal against Chris or anyone else at all. :) I just miss kicking booty with Lord Roper with me for once :proud:

Ill be out first. Whoever else im aginst, be it powerpoint or box, I can take them on. Ill drive in small burts of speed so Ill have really screwed up aceelreation, but it will help my control alot Enough so I can get to their sides easily and start tearing them up. Eventually, ill hti the pit release when ive torn up one of them enough so theyll have serious problems driving. ill pit them [driving carefully of course] And then weaken the other one as much as I can using the same tactic as before. If he wont go down, before i die, chris should finish off whats left of him.

Go for Martyn. The saw should get under the Tornado shape OK and if there be no skirts, my higher weapon power will happily chew the tyres up. Basically, rip into it and use my superior traction n speed to shove it around before taking a trip to the Pit.
Whos to bet me and Lord Roper mysteriously crash out right from the off for our objections earlier? :wink:
