Dont know where this is going, but apart from the fact that it can run in the championships, all these calculations bring norhing to this thread. Thanks.
Marien,
Sorry, it is not our intention to take this thread off topic. Please do not take offence, but small convasations like the one above will happen from time to time. it is the nature of roboteers and the forum and it does come back on topic very quickly.
Regards,
Geoff.
(sorry, I would have replied in Dutch, but its not quite that good yet!)
Just curious about the carting, any chance a Mr M. Schumacher might be there?
Its not impossible but I dont think so. The karting is organised by Bleekemolen, a Dutch racing family. Last year there were a couple of different sportsmen and women, some World Champions in their sport. So, who knows...
Has a final date been set for this event?
Peter I need to know well in advance as well
John
Not yet. Working on it.
Would certainly be useful to know !
Thursday 7th to Sunday 10th (17:00)
marien ?
is that july ?
7th July to 10th July. Outstanding! I look forward to seeing which UK teams can make it and to getting a place on the bus.
Suggest two buses,:proud:
One for you, one for your beer?
Then just send over the beer, please. :)
British beer?
Nah, keep it.
definately not a whole busload of britisch beer
If you take the ferry to Calais or the Chunnel you pass through Belgium - THE LAND OF REAL BEER - seize the opportunity !!
We can give you advice based on your tastes. For a small fee of course. Liquid.
Ed,
Did you say you were happy to take on the co-ordination of British (I say British and not English) teams, buses, ferrys etc. If so, it sounds like a plan to me, and you can count Me+Gordon in as definates. Time already booked off work.
Roger.
Last Friday I was informed that, due to other events at the same venue, we had to move the EC back two weeks. Definite date now is 21st to 24th July. We are preparing a website with all necessary information. I€™ll let you know as soon as it is up and running.
thats a better date kids are finnish school :)
i think
Hope Roger has read this and can change the days booked off work. :)
And it will be great for the Belgian roboteers... July the 21st is our National Holiday, celebrating our independence from the Netherlands.
Oooohhh, well be there... watch out Cheeseheads !!
Are the Green Bay Packers playing? :)
Dont know.
The Belgians call the Dutch Keeskoppen or Kaaskoppen which means cheeseheads. As for counter-insults, I have yet to encounter Dutch creativity that goes further than Stupid Bels.
hi guys.... gonna regret this...... is there room for me to sign up?
James + amsterdam + new yearss resolutions = head explosion
We are currently working on the website. As soon as it is finished you can sign up there.
This Tuesday we had a meeting at the venue and started to make a floor plan to see where the arena can go and the tables in the pits...
The first 50000 flyers will be printed tommorow for distribution at CeBIT in Hannover, Germany. There may be a few left to bring to Debenham.
90% chance were on for this one Marien.
