Well what exactly is wrong with them that makes them BIIBI?
I stated this earlier.
Ankle Biter:
1) The drum shells out more than 100 KJs, so you need to say how it can survive its own backlash.
2) Id like to know how you got that high a number on a drum anyway.
3) Its massively overweight.
As for the other two, youre using a thickness of Hardox which is unavailable. 3.25 at the very thinnest, but Id suggest changing for a different armour type as thickening the armour any will probably make them go overweight.
Okay, with El persistance and Deep Impact 2, change the armour to 3mm titanium. With Ankle Biter, youll have to speak to Aaron about your questions because I bought it off him on Virtual Ebay, and Ive changed very little of the design. Hope that clears everything up.
Veg 2
Weight- 100.2kg (WDOR)
Speed- 12.8mph 5.7 m/s
Dimension- H- 23cm W- 70cm L- 93cm
Shape- Low wedge, with extra steeper wedge part at back.
Locomotion- 2 x drilled aluminium boron carbide wheels, with custom cut tyres made from an old conveyer belt. These have miniature diamond shavings in to allow extra traction. They stick out at an angle out of the back wedge. However, they have wheel guards to protect them, which show nothing but the bit that hits the floor.
Ground clearance- 0 at front, 0-5mm at sides, 2mm at rear.
Turning circle- 0
Armour- 5mm Nanoflex, with wheel guards and flipper being made from 7mm
Power- 2 x S28-400 motors running at 24V producing 9BHp but only weighing 6.2 kg. We€™ve got 2x 24V TMC batteries powering them.
Removable link position- about half way down in the wedge at the back.
Weapon- A Helium powered flipper, with 4x 2kg canister running at 750 psi. This should have around 35 flips in it and should be able to toss robots about 3-4 feet into the air. It can be cranked up to 1000psi or cranked down to 500, changing the flips level by 10 each way, and upping/downing the flip height by about a foot.
Srimech- Invertible and capable of flipping ala Rick both ways up.
Strengths- Powerful weapon, invertible, good manouvreability
Weaknesses- Not quite sure yet, possibly low on traction with 2WD, but htose wheels are well gripped.
Hacked off Ha-ka
Weight- 93kg- (WDOR)
Dimensions- H- 40cm, L- 1m, W- 70cm
Speed- 13.3mph or 5.3 m/s
Shape- 2 x 35 degree wedges about 40cm long, with a 3ocm box section in the middle.
Locomotion- 4x Solid aluminium hubs with old karting wets around it
Ground Clearance- 1mm at sides, 3mm at rear, 0 at front
Turning Circle- 0
Power- 4x Dustin motors running on 36V powered by 3 TMC 36V batteries/ They produce a total of 8.84BHp
Armour- 5mm Aluminium Boron Carbide
Weapon 1- A larger hammer than before weighing 13kg. It runs off some very nice 1000psi nitrogen rams, and produces around 4 tonnes at the beginning and about 2.7 towards the end. At the beginning I€™d say it€™d cut through 8mm titanium in 2 or 3 swift hits. It€™s double sided, with one Terrorhurtz style blade, and one Mortis one.
Weapon 2- A small strip of ti/vanadium alloy that should enable each wedge to slide under easier
Removable Link Position- Under a small 6mm steel electromagnetically secured panel at the back of the robot.
Srimech- invertible, but the axe will right it if necessary due to the fact that the head is angled back into a hole, which keeps the head inside the body.
Strengths- Powerful weaponry, Manouvreable, good acceleration, well armoured
Weaknesses- Not the best pushing power, limited CO2.
BIACS-LE
Weight- 100.3kg (WDOR)
Dimensions- H- 65cm, L- 65cm, W- 75cm
Speed- 11mph, 5.1 m/s
Shape- Somewhere between S6 Sabretooth and Atilla the Drum.
Locomotion- 2x Motorbike wheels with screws embedded. These are bigger diameter than the robot itself.
Ground Clearance- Massive
Turning Circle- 0
Armour- A cage made from a 3mm titanium mesh with moulded 8mm fibre glass armour over that.
Power- 2x S28-400€™s at 24V giving 9BHp. These are powered by some TMC batteries at 24V.
Removable link position- Inside the left wheel, as far in as possible whilst keeping it accessible.
Weapon- As before, the weapon is a 300mm 18kg vertical disc on an arm, which can swing right through the whole arc of the robot, and is capable of coming down with a thump. The blades are mounted diagonally, which means that they are capable of both flipping and ripping. The cage can also swing over the top, protecting the axle and wheels from the side that is unprotected by the disc. This means that other than the cage, nothing can be damaged apart from the disc. It should produce about 62Kj. It€™s powered by another S28-400 on 24V and has a spin-up time of 4.7 seconds.
Srimech- Invertible
Strengths- Powerful weaponry. Manouvreable, Strong
Weaknesses- Low traction, slow acceleration.
Matty H, theyre in.
Matt R, El Persistance and Deep Impact are in. As for Ankle Biter, Aaron designing it could explain some things. Ive quite often had issues with his If its not pushing the limits its not worth considering design. Im sorry but if you really want to enter it, you have to fix the problems.
Oh sugar, forgotten about Evil Scotsman and Max feather :proud:
I think Ankle Biter 2 only needs the 24kg drum sorted out, then itd be fine.
I think the armour needs thinning down as well.
quote:
Oh sugar, forgotten about Evil Scotsman and Max feather:proud:
This is why you werent allowed to reserve spots :P
Frank, i dont really know all that much about lights, just choose some and thatll be fine.
OK, with Ankle Biter 2 change the armour from 10mm to 5mm, and also, lower the drum weight to 15kg. That should fix everything up.
...OK I guess that should be fine, but Im also going to change the power into a rough guess of around Tornado power.
OK. thats fine.
I dont think blizzard qualifies for aweight limit yet people give me them anyway.
Yeh just give me soem random ones, demolisher for its weight category though if it hasnt been picked.
quote:
Nick - VGer is in, and Ive found I no longer have Parasites stats anyway for some reason. I know youve been having trouble with lose work recently, so no preassure. Do you want some real machines entered?
Part of my withdrawing parasite is the lack of stats, and my 1-spinner-per-competition rule. Im fed up with endering with 6 mildly similar ones over and over.
I know the limit is 4, but Id prefer to just have 2. Be creative with the real robots you enter, if you dont want to interfere with the brackets.
OK, I was just making sure you knew. Some of the real machines Ive been finding that meet the criteria are just as vicious as the vapours.
...Its times like this I really MISS MSNs devil smiley:sad:
Welcome to the start of NSBFL 7. Here be the seeds first of all:

Agitator - A low box with overhead spinning bar.
Got Bot - An invertible double wedge whichc ant be left on its side.
Sledge Jammer - A sitnspin machine with exposed wheels.
T.O.D.D - Invertable double eraser shaped box with spikey wedges, and sort of exposed wheels. It has wheel guards but they look ineffective.

Two Doomsdays?! Meh, your funeral :proud:
and I can only see 3 of my heavies.
I dont know about VT but ill assume they are clusters, pnuematics in that case, turn em over quickly cant be hanging around with multiple foes. Slam em into tsomewhere thatll do something, the sides of whatever, bound to be soemthing, too tired to go and find where it says aobut arenas
Here are my tactics...
NSA vs Son of Ripper 4.0
Those sucker things€¦ suck. I did this before with SOR against Supreme Glory Gamma in PTT4. If that thing is sucking it to the ground I just smash it with the blade and NSA will absorb all the energy and shock itself out. If it isn€™t stuck to the floor I can easily push it and flip it about because the stats say €˜it has no torque€™ so it can€™t push back.
I will keep the blade running all match because there isn€™t a likely chance of me being flipped unless the flipper extension is used. Once at full speed I€™ll just keep hitting that bodywork and causing loads of damage. The odd few flips should rack me up some points too.
Got Bot vs GeForce
I don€™t know much about this robot, so all my tactics can be are ram and flip.
Overdrive vs Sparkstorm vs Addis
Am I allowed to take a piece of 2mm Steel into the arena to beech Sparkstorm on? If not then I€™m just going to go out and drive about all over the place ramming the robot in front and pushing it about with my incredible drive train.
If I am allowed then I€™ll just slide the piece of steel under Sparkstorm and leave it stranded in the air.
Crash vs Mad Cows Revenge vs Gridlock
Don€™t know much about Mad Cow€™s Revenge, so I better leave it alone. Crash€™s armour is only 3mm Titanium so I should be able to rip it open quite easily and hopefully smash some internals up as well.
Blazer vs Hell Fire vs Blizzard
I€™m just going to drive around ramming and flipping here, I€™m not going to focus my attacks on either of them, just attack who is nearest really.
Good luck Frank, should be another excellent war, even if I do go out in the first round as usual. :P
Heat A
Sonic Boom vs Call Out Hook (me)
A really bad arena for me here. For this fight i shalll use the axe weapon and and just try and push Sonic Boom away so it cant damage me, i shall try ramming it into the walls and try and immoblise it
Two blizzards in the MW draw?
Finally finished Max Feather :)

*Insert Doh here*
Still, easily changed.
Heat C
Sheer Hell (5) vs Stratos-Fear
BIACS-LE vs Heir to Black Panther 4
Centipede vs Heavy Metal Noise vs Maximum Velocity
Crud, the last time one of my clusters went up against Achiles...ah well, lets hope he has an achiles heel. Ill split from the start and try to drill at it from both sides. Ground clearence will be a problem, Going Crunchs was less. However, i do have a win over Achiles in the tag,the fact that i know him and he doesnt know the Twins might work in my advantage, but talk about a baptism of fire.
Do I get to make Featherweight max into a 4 part cluster to take on the Middleweights?
Cant be bothered finishing my axe MW, so Ill enter this instead:
NAME- Evil Scotsman
SHAPE- See Render
COLOUR- Unpainted metal
WEIGHT- 50kg
SPEED- 10mph
TURNING CIRCLE- 0
GROUND CLEARANCE- About 5-7mm, less than 2cm under the disc
ARMOUR- 5mm Aluminium
WHEELS- 2, behind front wheel guards.
POWER- 2 x S28-150 Magmotors, run off 1 24v Battlepack
WEAPON 1- A big, low vertical disc powered by a LEM-130 run at 36v. This is less than 2cm off the ground for some ankle biting!
WEAPON 2- As if you€™ll get past the first.
SRIMECH - None needed, it€™s invertible.
SKIRTS- None.
SUMMARY- Deadly disc, reasonable armour all backed up with a great drivetrain.
STRENGTHS- Disc, nippiness.
WEAKNESSES- A very, very steep flipper could get under the disc and flip it.

Overdrive vs Sparkstorm vs Maximum Velocity
Centipede vs Heavy Metal Noise vs Evil Scotsman
I live about 30 meters away from a railway bridge, over which freight trains travel every half an hour from midnight to 6 AM. Do I need to draw you a zzzzzzzzzzzz
Nah, its cool. I was under an airport flight path for 2 months, where every 5 minutes planes took off or landed, so I know the feeling.
Uh, where am I?
Artros vs El Persistence
T.O.D.D vs Ankle Biter EVO
Kruel Intent vs Pink Panther
Deep Impact 2 vs Agitator
See? All present and correct. Stop trying to make me paranoid:crazy:
Finished with my woman cause she couldnt help me... Ooops, sorry about that :lame:
Overdrive vs Sparkstorm vs Maximum Velocity
Same stuff, drive about ramming and pushing whichever is nearest.
Wheres Crush 2?
I only know where it isnt...
Crush 2 now replaces T.O.D.D in heat F, taking on Ankle Biter EVO.
With part 1 of the Grand Prix final finished here are my:
Tactics
Heat 4 -
NSA vs Son of Ripper 4.0
Run away and try to get some good shots in onto the top of Son of Ripper 4. My hope for NSA is nil.
Heat L -
Push-ish vs Squish
The razer clone with a hydraulic arm which is slower than a snail :proud:
Ram at it, get underneath and flip over onto its back, without a weapon that can self-right it within an hour, its pretty well stuck.
Heat N -
Seggy the 3rd (6) vs Flipping Hell
Set-up depends on Arena
Heat O -
Hefty Kick in the Balls vs Black Chalkie Beard
Spilt up, where one part is around the front, the other half will be around the rear flipping it over.
Lightweights -
Hell Hound vs Trisadekaphobia vs RQRCL
Try to flip the robots over.
Middleweight -
Killoteeny vs Scarlek vs Black
Steve, want to gang up on Scarlek?
For this fight, I will be using the second wheel type to hide the wheels from Scarleks 8cm high disc. The main tactic will be to go into Scarleks rear end, getting under the disc and putting one of the swords where the gap is and cause pain for Matts machine.
Sheer Hell (5) vs Stratos-Fear -Oh dear. I€™m gonna have to attack the wheel protection with all I got, and, if I can€™t rip them up, then I€™ll hammer them down, by spinning the vertical disc in the opposite direction in order to bash the metal down into the wheels
Hell Machine (7) vs Star 69 - Stick an axe through its bonce and stick it in the pit. Failing that, I€™ll try and stack it against the wall, but if I get The Moat, I€™ll stop the star spinning once, then shove it out (that is if it doesn€™t knock itself out)
ForcePower Turbo vs Flaming Hell - can I have info for Forcepower Turbo?
Seggy the 3rd (6) vs Flipping Hell -can I have info for Seggy the 3rd?
Pillow Torque vs Hells Angel vs Scorpion Junior - can I have info for both pillow Torque and Scorpion Junior ?
Hell Hound vs Triskaidekaphobia vs RQRCL-I€™m gonna go for Triskaidekaphobia (that€™s its proper spelling BTW), and its 2mm armour won€™t stand a chance, I just have to get stuck in with the jaw before that cage spins up. Besides, what€™s up with the Number 13? That€™s my 2nd favourite number (my first being 666 ;)) Oh, I forgot to say in the stats, Hell Hound has a tail shaped cable pulled self righting arm if he is indeed flipped onto his lid
Blazer vs Hell Fire vs Blizzard-I€™m gonna concentrate on Blazer because I know of that one. The saw will make light work of the ali protecting the wheels, and at only 40kg, thowing it out of the ring should be fairly easy. But I must keep wary of that screwy Blizzard, the discs sound dangerous, and its pushing ability might be good, but there is no way he€™s going to catch something as nippy as Hell Fire
F.B.S (Fat Billy Sastards)
Weight- 50kg
Dimensions- H- 40cm L+W- 60cm
Speed- 8mph
Shape- Typhoons shape, but the slope is curved.
Ground Clearance- 5.5mm
Turning Circle- 0
Armour- 8mm Aluminium Boron Carbide
Locomotion- 4 thin plastic wheels with a 20cm diameter and mounted in a Typhoon style setup..
Power- A 24v Ventilator battery powering 2 Bosch 750w motors
Failsafe Position- Under tip of cone, which is hinged
Paint Scheme- Red with Doughnuts painted on
Weapons- True Full Body spinner weighing in total 26kg with 4 steel blades along the edges. This is powered by an APC back up motor, spinning the weapon at 2000rpm and produces 74Kj in the weapon.
Srimech- A small Ziggo style flag on the top, which self rights the robot as well as showing the direction
Strong Against- Most things
Weak Against- Horizontal Pincers, Fast well-armoured flippers
Robot most compared to- Ziggo
House robot most feared- Dead Metal
Strengths- Very powerful weaponry
Weaknesses- Manouvreability
Ooops, forgot we entered 4 heavyweights...
ForcePower Turbo vs Flaming Hell
Ram it back through the gates of Hades!
For Dave, here are ForcePower Turbos stats: http://mattyhakaman.proboards15.com/index.cgi?board=AJ&action=display&num=1087079562http://mattyhakaman.proboards15.com/...lay&num=108707 9562
Wedga Revo vs Veg 2
Normal tactics from my bots here, ram and flip.
And... Pillow Torque vs Hells Angel vs Scorpion Junior
Why do I get the feeling this match was set up? :P
I dont know, because it wasnt set up at all.
First two fights will be written shortly.
