Any socials coming soon?
The socials for East mids and Yorks were well attended in the past, but members are split by a margin of 50 miles and the north south margin meant a long drive and a night in the pub with a maximum of 1 pint all night for the driver. I also never got home before 1am from huddersfield.
It would be good to arrange another evening but somewhere more neutral - just south of Sheffield and close to the M1. If anyone has a suggestion for such a location I will seriousy consider it. I have another motive, as I am being increasingly asked to cast votes on sensitive issues in my capacity on the FRA committee, I would like the views of the people that I am voting for. Sending e-mails is cumbersome and not everyone replies.
The last event I organised we had a cracking meal around a long table - in a pub - and both team MAD and Roaming Robots were in attendance..........
And everyone had a good night........
Any ideas for a venue please e-mail me or post here.

i have an idea. why not have a social somewhere near newark. that aint too bad for me. and not too bad for you guys in notts. there must be others out there that fancy a get together. come on guys lets meet and chat and curry.
