Is the cylinder the same diametre as the older one, it seems a bit smaller but it may just be the length of it foolong me :P

The ram you see in G4 is actualy my first FP ram I made. Meant for Project I Beta.The ram in G4 is therefor a 63*330 ram.
In other words, not as much lifting power- only 1500 kg, but with about double stroke, giving a less powerfull ram, but still impressive.

Do not forget Gravity IV is a budget machine, build out of stuff WJ had in the shed.

Itd be great if i had enough parts for a whole robot just sittin in the shed :)

2 more hours on G4. Had to redo the entire high pressure system, made a dumb fault. 1 valve filled the ram and the other valve emptied the buffertank and the bottles. not good. Made the front end, fitted a rollerball.

*sigh* Where are the good old days when WJ arrived with a box of junk in the pits and had a battle-ready robot at the moment he was due to fight ??? Now we have to look for something else to bet on...

Well how long is it to your next event WJ?

Next weekend will be the test event for G4.the GRA event in Liverpool.

The sad part is that i am not even worried if he will finish it in time, but wether or not the paintjob will be dry before he enters the arena. :)

That is assuming he paints it. :)

WJ, some tips: loose the booze and get the women to work on the robot.

Isnt as wicked as the last one... But sure performed EXCELLENT for a 38 hour robot !

Well, after Arthur gracious invitation to stay for the week at his place weve had:

An ambulance visit because Mariens wife fell of the steps and hurt her anckle;
Multiple disturbances if the peace because WJ and Tim found the Goped;
Robots being repaired, built and upgraded in the front yard.

So the Neighbours will have fresh gossip material for weeks to come.

This week has already been brilliant, and i am looking forward to Newark.
