If this one aint work, nothing will :)
-
Featherweight Database
yeah, if this one doesnt work you might come down to reality and build a 2 wheel drill powered box that might actually work, and *gasp* win because of it.
-
Featherweight Database
Hmm, in fairness big daddy sounded not too bad, although I shall reserve comment untill I see it. I think you should concentrate on just one design tho, and battle it and improve it and re-battle it and improve it further, instead of getting too easily distracted by other designs- it seems you loose enthusiasm for your robot too quickly- you need to stick with it and work on it to make a winning design.

People forget, Ewan has been on robots wars, something some of us have not yet achieved.
He has also build numerous robots, actually built them, and faught some of them, ok they might not have been the best in the world but we have to start somewhere?
Ewan ran the spinnymaul (forget the exact name) at the RCWars event, and it was damaging, reliable, and did not break, even when being crushed by venom.
Ewan does make some silly claims on the net but go easy on him, hes as much right to post as anyone.

-
Featherweight Database
I would like to get my next one nearly battle ready before letting you loose on the old one (although i imagine it is going to take more than superficial scratches in preston). And yes I did copy your robot and then added what I hope will be improvements (disc rather than bar, 4WD, more powerful weapon motor) I was hoping for a cross between Vortex, Scorpion Jnr and PIMP 1, I think it has a lot to live up to

Joe,
P.I.M.P is a superb machine and regardless of what gets said on the forum in good humour, I have no intention of gratuitously damaging it or any other machine in a friendly white board. (But seriously, just watch yourself in a league or comp. fight!):proud:
I would love to see this new creation of yours.
I see you are proposing a 4 wheel drive machine like P.I.M.P for this spinner...One question...How the hell are you going to do all of that in 12Kg!!? :)
Geoff.

Featherweight Database
with great difficulty :proud:, probably by ignoring all that armour stuff everyone keeps on going an about
I know you would never cause unnecessary damage, it is the necessary damage im scared of . I just hope this time i dont have to fight you in the league.
See you at preston
