at the moment we use a spekrtum dx6i ... is it possible to have a flip function on this transmitter ... ? We use wottys ans Ian told me it is difficult to make it on the speedos ...
Nope. RMP sell a flip switch designed for RC tanks. Ive got one...but never tried it.
new fabookpage with a lot of pic´s and vid´s

So we use a spekrum dx6i and wotty speedo´s ... we need a flip function because our robot can run upside down and normal ... it is not possible to program a flipfunction on a dx6i ... are they other transmitters available ... ?
Wow 😀
How are the movimotor's holding up?
perfectly ...
No he means it.
but our movimotors are adapted at the front , original it is to weak ... see facebook team rubbish robot wars , at the pic´s you can see a new frontplate...
In short. Like Bosch 750's, Movimotors need some TLC.
For Brutus it was a tad more than that, as they had to fit on the same location as a boatload of LEM's.
Might give them a go :)
Got for moscow a new transmitter the DX5 ... on this transmitter we made a flipfunction so Brutus drives the same upsidedown ... but even on normal drive Brutus got just 25 % of it´s power ... if we use the DX6 it´s got 100 % of it´s power ... somebody knows why ... ?
on the dx6 you can program the settings and on the DX5 almost nothing so that´s why I don´t understand it ...
what is the epa set to on the channels ?
epa ... ?
End point adjustment.
Which you can't set on a DX5e.
Sorry missed last comment , that's me stumped then ! What happens if you connect a good old servo to the rx channel I'm wondering if it goes full degree turn ?
Spektrum radios normally have their endpoints between 1.2 msec and 1.8 msec (not 1.0 to 2.0 msec) which limits the throws. In the DX6(i)/7/8/etc.. you can adjust this by setting the EPA to 125% but the DX5e is not a computer transmitter and does not have that option. If you can calibrate the ESC's that is not a problem but as far as I know you can't calibrate a Wotty.
I gonna use the dx6 not the dx5 ...
