Robot Name

its the name of a rather nice drink though lol. i like the orange one..

I suspect that this may be a futile question, but is there a robot with a name called floorcloth?

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but the thread title is perfect for what I need to ask:

Is there a robot to anyone's knowledge called Incisor?

I'm not too fussed about US bots or really old robots from early RW days, more so if it already exists amongst UK (none that I can think of) and European robots.

sounds a new name to me

I was inspired by Calum's robot Pinsor (in the build diaries) and just started toying about with bits and pieces. I dug up a wiper motor, a bit of threaded rod and part of the mechanism from a car scissor jack that I reckoned would work well with a claw setup so I added wheels, motors, batteries and speedos to a pile-of-parts layout to see how it would look and I liked it.
Gonna throw it together in June and it'll probably become a replacement bot for Bullseye (i.e. for my dad to drive at events)

It looks quite a lot like a mini Kan Opener so it might draw comparisons but I'll be going for a different colour scheme. Just trying to find a name that's crush-related but not virtually identical to Kan Opener, Razer, Kanzor, Krush, Pinsor, Crushtacean etc etc and Incisor was the best I could come up with.

How about cuddles? You could make it furry! :rofl:

nice to hear i've inspired you, if our 2 robots are in the arena together we will have to have a bit of a fight to see who comes out on top out of us both:)

im hopeing to get loads more done to mine this weekend and have it all up and fully running by next weekend but just minus the armour.

The only Insisor I know Jamie was in Battlebots. Don't think there's one in the UK.

You know what, I was so set on thinking up hard-ass mean-sounding names that I completely neglected the comedy names :proud:

All of a sudden, along with Cuddles, I'm now thinking of Bearhug, Hugglebug and all sorts :lame:
Although with the force that this thing could be exerting I think I'll pass on giving it a cuddle!

Dave, thought there might be one in Battlebots, ta for confirming. But as I doubt it'll ever make it to the US, Incisor it will be (assuming I fight the urge for one of the above names :))
