Well ...Ive looked it up Ady ....you appear to be using the only mix available for that stick.
Delta Wing ....
TO ACTIVATE DELTA-WING (DLT) MIXING (WING TYPE MODE)
1. In System Setup mode, press the SCROLL button until €œMIX WNG€ appears on the screen.
2. Press the DECREASE button to activate Delta-Wing Mixing.
If all else fails you could buy an inline V-Tail mixer.

when i press the stick left or right one motor turns on its own, and when i press the stick forward the other motor turns on its own.
Ummm ...Are you SURE that you have got the mix turned on?
What youve described suggests not.
The manual seems to have a conflict ...the picture says press INCREASE to activate Delta Wing ...the instructions say press DECREASE. ...Check that it says ON!

had a look but wil have to leave controls overnight, as they went flat again before i had chance to mess. its still the same forwards and back on 1 motor, left and right on the other motor. cant seem to work it out, never have this trouble normally, this is a unused BR reciever though, new one never used but i dont think its that. is it normally the wing or v tail mix thing you switch to on?

Ive just done a quick edit ...CHECK THE MIX IS
ON!
The screen should say ...
MIX +1>DLT
. +2>ON

mix dlt is on,
mix fpr is on?
mix wng is off
mix vtl is off
is this right, one thing i hate about these controls is flicking the switches to change things its so annoying , you always press the wrong one LOL
after messing a bit (dont know how lol) (just using the right stick now)when i press left the motors go forwards, and backwards when pressed right, and when pressing forward one motor turns left and one turns right, and opposite for backwards. i switched the ail and ele wires around on the rx but it didnt make any difference.
and also.... on my 2 electronizes one of them hasnt got the red wire connected (was like it when i got them 2nd hand) its always been disconnected but worked fine. its the wires that plug to reciever where you have a red, white and black. like i say never known why someone would disconnect one but they always worked fine in prodigy using the specktrum.

still tried everything and attempted to reset controllers. then it got worse and was back to one motor working, just cant sort it out, i wonder if this new reciever is faulty, or if my controllers are knackered. leave it to another day. cheers guys

Well Ady .....Im new to this DX6 Mixing thing.
Ive dragged mine in from the shed ... followed the instructions .....pushed and prodded the buttons etc.
Once youve picked your options
..browse thru with your left scroll channel key ONLY ....eventually you should see that youve picked ONE of the 4 options WNG ,FPR ,VTL or DLT.
You want to see DLT.
You said ....

SO CLOSE.. In fact Im fairly sure that it wouldve been correct if you had swapped the ESC supply wires on the motor going the wrong way in fwd and reverse.
The red wire from the Electronize is the power supply to the receiver ....and it is correct ..you only need the one.

set my controllers so i could see DLT on. i changed the wires on both speedos. the yellow and blue that go from the speedo into the red and black which go to motors i swapped around. was it ok to do it this way as i thought it would be easier than unsoldering the motor wires? or do i need to unsolder the motor wires and swap them?
if this is ok it didnt make any difference, i still now have left and right make it go forwards and backwards, and forward and backwards controls left and right.
basically my ail and ele are the wrong way round if that makes sense. but swapping the plugs on the reciever didnt make any difference.

SWAP ONE MOTOR not TWO
Your fine swapping wires as you said but only ONE motor/speed controller....swap over the wires on the motor thats going in reverse when you push the stick in the fowards direction.
