COMBAT RAPTOR
Weight: 12kg
Shape: Like Mega Hurts (the Navy one not the computer one) but with inner wheels and an arm with a low plate on the end, painted orange with black stripes like the raptors in Jurassic Park, with a Velociraptor head on the back that has a spike coming out of its mouth
Dimensions: 65 (55 if rear spike not included) x 25 x 3/9 (lowest/highest)
Speed: 14mph
Ground Clearance: 0 at front, 1mm at sides, 2mm at back
Armour: 3mm titanium with 3mm polycarbonate on top
Wheels: 2, inside robot, stick out the top so the robot can run inverted
Power: 24V battery and motors
Weapon: An electric powered flipping arm which runs 3/4 the length of the robot to the front. On the end is a wide plate which runs along the ground to get under robots. The head on the back has a long static spike coming out of its mouth for ramming.
Srimech: Arm acts as srimech; can run inverted if arm fails; cannot rest on sides due to shape; back is rounded and has decorative head so it cant rest there
Tactics: Flip skirtless robots, at least try to get under skirted robots because plate is low, ram them with spike if it cant
Strengths: Good flipper for a featherweight, invertable, manouverable
Weaknesses: Tricky to control, cannot use flipper when inverted except as srimech
CRASH
Weight: 20kg
Shape: Low invertable box painted gray, with wedge at front
Dimensions: 40 x 25 x 6
Speed: 18mph
Ground Clearance: 0 at front due to wedge, 0 at sides and back due to skirts, 4mm behind skirts
Armour: 3mm titanium
Wheels: 4, inside robot
Power: 36V battery and motors
Weapon: CO2 powered lifting arm, which runs along the centre of the body and down the wedge
Srimech: Arm acts as srimech - can run inverted if arm fails. Skirts prevent robot from landing on back or sides.
Tactics: Lift and carry around/flip unskirted opponents, ram around skirted opponents
Strengths: Fast, good pushing power for a lightweight
Weaknesses: May be ineffective against skirted opponents, wheels are vulnerable to axes
COLLISION FORCE
Weight: 50kg
Shape: High dome - poking vertically out of the top is a rod with four horizontal rods positioned in the middle, looking like helicopter blades
Dimensions: 50 x 50 x 30 (main body), 70 x 70 x 60 (including rod)
Speed: 15mph
Ground Clearance: 1mm on both domes
Armour: Shell is 3mm titanium; srimech rods are 1cm titanium
Wheels: 4, inside robot
Power: 24V battery and motors
Weapon: The robot is a full body spinner with two interchangable domes. The first has four Son Of Whyachi-like spiked hammers on it, designed to damage - it can go through about 3mm of titanium. The second has two diagonal rods, (like the one at the end of the rod on Battlebot middleweight T-Wrex) the ends of which are just off the ground, designed to flip when spinning and perhaps damage the wheels. Both domes spin at 3500rpm.
Srimech: If flipped when spinning, the robot can sometimes bounce back onto its wheels. If it doesnt, or the robot isnt spinning, the rods on top will keep it from turning over and let it fall back onto its wheels, as they poke out wider than the main body. Because there is some vertical rod poking up past the horizontal ones, it cant rest on top of them if completely flipped over.
Tactics: Use the damaging dome on skirted opponents; use the flipping dome on unskirted opponents
Strengths: Powerful weaponry; interchangable domes
Weaknesses: Poor pushing power if dome is disabled
BATTLE RAPTOR 3
Weight: 100kg
Shape: Low box, painted orange with black stripes like the raptors in Jurassic Park, with a low scoop at the front, with a hammer and a decorative Velociraptor head attached to either side of the scoop (the heads are on the sides of the hammers)
Dimensions: 95 x 60 x 30
Speed: 17mph
Ground Clearance: 0 at front due to scoop, 0 at sides and back due to skirts, 4mm behind skirts
Turning Circle: 0
Armour: 5mm titanium; scoop is 3mm titanium
Wheels: 4, inside robot, poke out the top so the robot can run inverted, use skid steering
Power: 36V battery and motors
Weapon: A CO2 powered flipper/axe. The weapon is positioned at the front of the robot, with a 3mm titanium scoop at the end resting on the floor. Two small Beta-style pointed hammers are fixed to the side of the scoop, extending just above it. The weapon fires quickly like an axe, turning 180 degrees to flip anything at the front and axe anything at the back. It then returns to its original position at a slower speed, because it would deform the flipper otherwise.
Srimech: Weapon acts as srimech. If weapon fails in resting position, robot can run inverted because the hammers on the scoop do not extend to the full height of the robot when it is right side up and therefore do not prop it off the floor. It cannot rest on its sides and rear due to the skirts, which flop down when it is inverted.
Tactics: Flip skirtless opponents and axe skirted opponents.
Strengths: Multi purpose weaponry; invertable; fast
Weaknesses: Cannot use weaponry when inverted except as srimech; wheels vulnerable to axes
DRILLA KILLA 7
Weight: 99kg
Shape: Low invertable box, painted red, with a Tornado-like low wedge at the front, and an upside down one at the back for when the robot is upside down, and skirts at the sides fixed at the centre so they work whichever way up the robot is
Dimensions: 110 x 40 x 25
Speed: 17mph
Ground Clearance: 0 at front due to wedge; 0 at sides due to skirts, 3mm behind skirts, 25cm at most at back due to inverted wedge
Turning Circle: 2cm
Armour: 5mm titanium
Wheels: 6, inside robot
Power: 36V battery and motors
Weapon: Each wedge has a hole in the centre - inside each hole is a diamond tipped drill, spinning at 600 rpm, which comes out of the hole using a motor. It can come out to cause damage when an opponent is on the wedge, or can stay out and cause damage when the robot rams opponents.
Srimech: Invertable; cannot rest on sides due to skirts
Tactics: To get under unskirted opponents, slam them around and bring out the drills to damage their underbellies; to ram skirted opponents with the drills out and try to cause damage
Strengths: Good pushing power
Weaknesses: Drills may not penetrate very thick armour; high ground clearance at back
M.O.R.D (MASTER OF ROBOT DESTRUCTION)
Weight: 98kg
Shape: Its body is a box tilted at an angle because the front wheels are larger than the rear ones - its like Intraverter from Robotica if youve ever seen that, or Backlash with wheels instead of claws holding it up. On the sides are extra plates giving the wheels some side protection. At the front is the flywheel, and in front of the flywheel is the scoop, operated by rods going into the robot.
Dimensions: 100 x 40 x 15/45 (lowest/highest)
Speed: 20mph
Ground Clearance: 0 at front due to scoop, 200mm behind scoop on either side of flywheel, 50mm under flywheel, 1mm-5mm at sides, 0 at back due to skirt, 1mm behind skirt
Turning Circle: 0
Armour: Body and wheel guards are 4mm titanium, with holes drilled into body armour to reduce weight
Wheels: 4, inside robot, stick out the top so the robot can run inverted. The front wheels have no motors - they are turned by cords attached to the back wheels, like a skid steer system. Because the front wheels are larger than the rear ones to tilt the robot up, they have a high ground clearance at the front, so plates are welded onto the robots sides to protect them and lower the ground clearance.
Power: 36V battery and motors
Weapon: At the front is a electrically powered titanium scoop which operates through 180 degrees, so it can work when the robot is upside down. Behind the scoop is a 10kg vertical spinning flywheel, spinning at 2000rpm and able to cut into 3mm titanium, which comes into play if the scoop is lifted.
Srimech: Invertable; screws tapped into sides keep it from resting there
Tactics: Shove opponents with the scoop, then lift the scoop and attack with the flywheel
Strengths: Fast and manouverable; powerful flywheel
Weaknesses: Hard to control; can be flipped from sides
RINGWRAITH
Weight: 100kg
Shape: Invertable cylinder on its side, like Barberous, but weapon shaped like Pussycats blade from Series 4 & 5 (side on - its wider of course), painted black
Dimensions: 100 x 30 x 30
Speed: 18mph
Ground Clearance: 10mm
Turning Circle: 0
Armour: 15mm LexiGuard inside and a 30kg Duralumin spinning blade
Wheels: 2, outside robot
Power: 36V battery and motors
Weapon: 30kg Duralumin spinning body. It is powered by a C40-400 at 36V geared 3:1 and can reach a top speed of 900RPM. The entire robot is shaped like Pussycats blade from Series 4 & 5 and is designed to tear into all sorts of armour. The tips of the blades are made from Grade 5 Titanium. Its weapon acts like Corkscrew or Warhog and has a greater power than Matildas flywheel - it can cut into 5mm Titanium.
Srimech: Invertable
Tactics: Just keep slamming into opponents with the spinning body and turn into them to try and keep them from hitting me.
Strengths: Hard to attack, manouverable, powerful weaponry
Weaknesses: Exposed wheels, tricky to control

Speed;20mph
GC;2mm
Armour;6mm polycarbonate
Power;2x 750-watt Bosch electric motors
Wheels;4 inner
Weapons;Double headed axe, like Terrorhurtz, but smaller. The idea is to batter oppodents instead of destroying them.
Srimech;The axe rights the robot.
Inspiration; The name of a Simpsons episode, AND the name of a wildlife documentory about small cats, but NOT after the famous film.
Strengths;Weapon
Weaknessess;Difficult to control
Name;Tom

This is the new and improved Team Hell:
HWs:
Flaming Hell
Weight: 100kg
Dimensions: 90x90x60 cm
Weapon: a triangular spinning cage with 3 sharpened bot openers on each end, weighing 5kg each, spinning at 4000 RPM, powered by a Lemco on 36v
Power: 2x Bosch 750 motors at 24v (its been made so that the cage motor gets 36v but the drive only gets 24, as the drive is ok as it is on 24V)
Shape: circular base with triangular cage atop
Speed: 15mph
Drive power: 4bph
Notes: small electric actuators in the rotor arms in order to self right. They have been shock proofed so that the weapon impact will not bust them, and the cage spins 2mm from the ground. Small bearings for the cage and the far set apart wheels give it increased stability for a FBS
Turning Circle: 0cm
Armour: 3mm titanium
Wheel Type - 4 small wheelbarrow type wheels (no need for great traction)
Strengths: Power of cage
Weakness: Unpredictable bounce off from an opponent
Hell Machine
Weight: 100kg
Dimensions: 140x100x60 cm
Weapons: Lemco motor powered axe (run through gear box) that can deliver an axe blow of 3 tons (according to my calculations) and rear linier actuator operated lifting arm that can flip 600kg
Srimech: Side arms and rear arm
Speed: 15mph
Transmission: a 4 wheeled Tornado set up(36v and same gearing), but with a pair of Mag C40€™s in place of the Bosch motors, and a set of NiMh in place of the heavy Lead Acids the real thing uses.
Turning Circle: 0m
Ground clearance: 0 at the scoop and wedge edge, 2mm the rest of the way around
Wheel Type: Go-kart
Body Shape: scoop fronted, wedged back
Armour: 8mm Grade 5 Titanium and 2mm stainless steel
Colour: Black with flame face on scoop and name in blood writing on side, devil head on rear wedge
Strengths: Enormous pushing power (About 12hp), EXTREMELY powerful axe, relentless in attacking (until a robot is immobile)
Weakness: Dislikes spinners, doesnt like weapons that use carbon
Name: Sheer Hell
Weight: 100kg
Dimensions: 150cm x 80cm x 120cm
Shape: low angled box with disc on the front like 13 black and rear 259 disc, style
Weapons: A front mounted Horizontal spinning disc and a rear mounted vertical spinning disc, both running at 4500rpm and delivering a blow of 75kj
Top Speed: 13 mph
Transmission: 4 Rubbertex coated ali wheels (Rubbertex is a grippy rubber substance used on the K*bot tables) run on a Smidsy type wheel system, and run by a pair of Bosch 750€™s and a bank of Ni-cads to give me more weight for armour
Armour: 8mm Titanium
GC: 3mm either side and back, 7mm under the disc at the front, variable at the sides of the disc
Srimech: powerful electric arms mounted on the top
Turning Circle: 0cm
Strengths: devastating weapons
Weakness: carbon based weapons
Notes: will NEVER turn the vertical flywheel into an opponent as it will throw SH over. Also, counter-acting discs (vertical and horizontal) will keep it stable, and if it is flipped, it does a funny jig in the air before coming down, most of the time, right way up
Name: Flipping Hell
Dimensions: 120cm x 80cm x 40cm
Weight: 100kg
Shape: steep wedge front, elongated wedged tail (not used as a weapon)
Weapon: 1000psi 2 pivot pneumatic flipper that can generate enough momentum and force to throw a 100kg robot 25ft up and 20ft across
Top speed: 18mph
Transmission: just like Razer€™s
GC: 0 at the front, 2mm down the side, 4mm at the back end
Turning Circle: 0cm
Armour: 6mm aluminium and steel alloy
Strengths: Can win with one weapon shot
Weakness: None
Notes: 4 wheels, the rear two of which are Razer type, so the flipper is always facing its opponent
MW:
Hell Fire
Weight:50kg
Dimensions: 120x110x40cm
Shape: low slung wedge
Weapons: Powerful pneumatic flipping arm that has a plate that runs the width of the front, that can throw 75kg 3 feet or so no problem, and can, flip 100kg, but not too high, and a rear Pussycat style Saw, that spins at 4000rpm, and has carbon tipped teeth to cope with titanium.
Top Speed: 25mph
Transmission: a pair of Mag C40€™s on 24v NiMH€™s running through a really simple transmission, but a reliable one due to features to keep the chain on.
Amour: 4mm Ali and steel alloy and 2 mm of stainless steel on top
Strengths: Very manoeuvrable and fast, generally very easy to control
Weakness: Exposed outer wheels
Ground Clearance: 0 at the front, 5cm at the back, varying from 0 to 4.5 at the sides (wedge goes up)
Turning Circle: 0cm (its turning is very nimble)
Notes: Hell Fire is extremely manoeuvrable because it has 2 sets of wheels on the same axle, meaning that it€™s incredibly stable, and can turn on a penny, and can still run even with outer wheels ripped off
LW:
Name: Hell Hound
Weight: 25kg
Dimensions (LxWxH): 50x40x30cm
Shape: scooped front, rectangular body, rounded back
Weapons: 2 conjoined Pincir type crushing jaws with a small hydraulic ram powering each, producing a 1 and 1/2 tonne crushing force
Colour: mainly black, but with Rotweiler features all over the body
Speed: 15MPH
Transmission: a pair of Bosch 400€™s on 24v running through a simple 6:1 ratio gearbox
Armour:1mm stainless steel and 1mm Ali/steel alloy (tough enough for LWs)
Srimech: cable pulled legs from out the side (like a dog cocking his leg to do his business)
GC: 0 at the scoop, 2mm the rest of the way
Turning circle: 0cm
Strengths: Power of weapon
Weakness: slow self righter (still effective mind)
FW:
Name: Hells Angel
Weight: 12kg
Dimensions: 50 x 40 x 20 cm
Shape: Scoop front, rectangle body, wedged rear end
Weapons: a Magmotor powered axe, drilled for lightness, but with still a heavy axe head, with a wallop power of about 500kg
Transmission: Ali protected Windscreen wiper motors attached directly to the wheely bin wheels, which are studded with screws pointing out (like those on Chaos 2)
Speed: 12 MPH
GC: 2mm all around, 0 at the scoop end
Srimech: The axe, the weight of which pulls it over so it cannot rest on its side. Make SURE you remember that.
Armour: 1mm Aliminium, 1mm Ti, and 1 mm Stainless
Strengths: The axe
Weakness: the armour may not stand up to strong FW spinners, but should prove good enough

NSBFL 7
Archangel of the Abyss
Colour: silver and dark metallic blue
Weight: 150kg
Shape: a two layered full body spinner, both layers being round, the top edge is rounded slightly.
Mobility: cheeky boy walking system for stability but with feet extra wide with gripped rubber for slightly more traction powered by 4 x C40-500 Magmotors on 36v. 6HP each
Speed: 8mph
Turning circle: 0m
Armour: 7mm titanium alumium alloy, the chassis is made up of triangular sections of aluminium boron carbide, the two outer rings being hardox and the supportive ones being mild aluminium
Ground clearance: 4mm under skirt (which is attached to base) skirt is 3mm of aluminium, covering up an inch of titanium foam which proofs it against SD IV type weapons more
Weapons: a two layered full body spinner, the upper layer spins completly at 1000rpm with a practically instantanious spin up time, it has eight blades, two lower and two upper and is mainly for bouncing opponents away, this defends the robot while the much more powerful lower flywheel gets up to a speed (between 1500 and 2500rpm depending on tourny rules) it has two 7.5 kilo blades on the lower flywheel, each being 5cm long, the upper flywheel blades are the smae length but the upper wheel is about 3mm wider so so that the blades will hit something before the lower as if the lower hit it would prevent it reaching speed. The upper ones are designed to knock away opponents while causing impact damage wheras the lower ones are designed to cuase maximum damage. The other use of the pair is that it can hit with the upper to stop another FBS and then the lower can hit it when its not spinning.
According to an online calculator thing that Aaron showed me the lower flywheel at 1500 rpm gets 89Kj output.
Srimech: self righting bar like tengus but obviously a bit mroe powerful, powered by linear actuators
Strengths: Very high damage potential, 360 degree protection: the fbs that stops fbs, the two different flywheels give it a tactical advantage, fast and manouverable for a walker.
Weaknesses: pushing still not great (althoguh vastly improved)

Chris C - If you only have three vapours, you can always enter a real robot for your fourth.
Nick - You got 5th as Parasite won the 5th place playoff in series 6. And thanks for the damage break-down, but forgive me if I dont adhere to it religiously. Afterall, it looks like thatll only be applicable if every shot hits the same area.
Chris M - I think LBB is a bit overweight, but not enough to BIIBI it.
Dave W - All fine
Alex - All good so far.

How does the Cheeky Boy walking system work?
Isnt it just a clone of the Anarchy style walking system?
-
NSBFL 7
ermmm no, the legs are 6 legs on each side, side by side and work by a swingng motion whereby theres always at leat two feet on the ground one each side at all times, one at the fornt and one at the back making it very stable.
I would find a link but when i tired putting cheeky boy robot into google one of the results on the first page is me trying to explain it before in referance toheart of skadi, but theres a bit on it on http://www.technogames.netwww.technogames.net under competitors

quote:

The weapon is designed for corners. Anything that portrudes more than that = 1 level down. If its a flat side = 1 level up. Usually a good way to go.
I dont like fights where the writer assumes titanium stops everything. Or Hardox for that matter... but different weapon shapes will take them differently.

What I mean is, if every shot hits, say, the right corner, then fair enough. But if some hit the right, and some hit the left, then it would take more hits.
