Cheers Harry I'll give you a shout if needs be.
It might be fine but I'll give it a fair test first just to make sure, if it struggles at 6s with that big a reduction then I think an NTM is definitely on the cards.

NTM50/60 270Kv with TZ85 worked fine in Prodigy Evo.
Cheers Mario, what reduction would be best to run? i'll have a 3ish kg disc running at 6s
Oh yeahhhhhhh! Drill press is finally here so tomorrow work can begin on Wraith, hoping to get the bulkheads cut out and the disc set up all mounted so look forward to regular updates.
Prodigy Evo did well, albeit a slower than normal spinup time with a 1-1.5 ratio. About 4Krpm on a 380mm 3 kg disk.
PROGRESS!!!! Of which there has been none, just disappointment and lots of it. The disc doesn't fit on the drill press so I can't drill the centre hole out, I didnt have any thin cutting discs for the teeth and didn't fancy trying to cut them with the 3mm ones, my circular saw has crapped out so the chassis cutting has to wait and I'm sure there's more, basically Wraith is still just a pile of parts.
I hate it when that kind of crap happens
Hey sam, when you say the disc doesn't fit in the clamp thing, then why not try clamping it aroun it like this
___________
|___________ clamp
______________
______________| disc
___________
|___________ clamp
Sorry for bad drawing. Hope you get what I mean
:)
Hi John what I meant is that the disc doesn't fit on the drill press at all, so there's no way to line up the drill and hole, got another solution lined up though hopefully but thanks for trying to help.
It's called load out. Meaning the pillar of the drill and the chuck have a certain maximal distance they can bridge.
