Re: 15th & 16th October 2011 - Robots Live - Kidderminster
dont know what the full issues were personally. But fair do's to anyone admitting they may of made a mistake and making a public apology.
hopefully anyone else involved will be able to accept it and we can all move on for the sport. As I wasnt personally involved it maybe easier to say. but lets keep smiling and spread the love
Re: 15th & 16th October 2011 - Robots Live - Kidderminster
What a great weekend. A massive well done to all of the drivers in Team Barbie, with a special mention to Sean Bell in only his 2nd event with Fortis, absolutely superb in the pinball.Congratulations must also go out to the other 3 teams for making it such a fun 2 days, with the Tilly All Stars making it more than interesting right up to the final Melee.Well done to Captain Jack for winnning the Team Bud.
Vey impressed with Ray's dalek and Ady's K9.
A brilliant social on saturday night with Stellios Thomas and the crew from Easy Jet.
Looking forward to defending our title next year :proud: :proud:
A survey conducted after the final show also confirmed that Team Barbie also retained tha Peoples Champions title as well so the perfect weekend. :proud: :proud:
And Swanny you know what I think, don't stop enjoying it mate, its why we do it.

Re: 15th & 16th October 2011 - Robots Live - Kidderminster
Thanks to robots live for organising another great event, but I must apologise to everyone for my involvement with the arming up of my robot and spoiling the outcome, it was done with no bad intentions as we thought it would give the audience a great show but didn't think about any other teams that wanted to win. I feel very ashamed and hope we haven't ruined it for the future.
Congratulations to team barbie on your win aswell.
Re: 15th & 16th October 2011 - Robots Live - Kidderminster
It was me terry not you mate....Please dont feel ashamed. I was captain it was my responsibilty. It is my selfish attitude that just wanted to have fun. Teambud are thinking about giving the robot scene a rest for a while....we both came away from robots live enjoying the event itself but with a feeling that people just rather us not be there. Perhaps we upset too many people too often. Or perhaps our personalities just dont fit in anymore. We will never change....more so me....so maybee the best thing to do is leave you to it. I really dont know why i am posting on here anyway as 90% of roboteers dont read it.
Re: 15th & 16th October 2011 - Robots Live - Kidderminster
Would be a shame for you to leave us all, at the end of the day, it's all about having fun, that's why 99% of us took it up in the first place
Re: 15th & 16th October 2011 - Robots Live - Kidderminster
Hi Shane and Jason
Was I at a different show?
I had a great time, Lots of interesting fight formats, enjoyed the fight with Thor always do :uhoh:
I expect my robots to get damaged after all it is robot WARS! Cherub bust a weld and some bits got bent inside.
If some were annoyed then I'm sure they have chilled now.
Its team Bud, Saint and Batter almost all the rest are flipping flippers :proud:
See you at the next show that's an order :uhoh:
Re: 15th & 16th October 2011 - Robots Live - Kidderminster
Oi Swanny shut up you tart.Just be yourself, and get your new pile of crap built and along to Maidstone.Who else installs as much fun and mischief as Team Bud.
Re: 15th & 16th October 2011 - Robots Live - Kidderminster
hey has anybody found a red and black extension lead with hills writen on it, if so its mine :uhoh:
Re: 15th & 16th October 2011 - Robots Live - Kidderminster
Team Batter had a fantastic event, thanks to Alan and all your crew they worked very hard.
Craig you're right flippers everywhere
I also agree with Clive: Swanny get this machine built & show us just what it can do - it's different
Team Bud cannot leave, you've given me more inspiration to make Scorpion even stronger and the only way I can test it is by fighting Thor with a very large nutter firing its axe :D :D
Anyway the audience apparently loved The Mighty Reds and the way they cheated, and I'm quite sure if Terry hadn't cheated in the speedway he would have easily beated Beast as Toxic is looking very good at the moment
