The Crash & Burn Tournament 2
No tactics? No problem!
Killotine: EVO vs. Axe-O-Lotl
Killotine: EVO got through with Flick of the Wrist after Tira-san took out Fragmentors weapon in a double kill. He then won a judges decision over the tough nut of a bot, Bloody Tears 2.
Axe-O-Lotl hammered In-terror-fied into a pancake flat enough to serve him with eggs in the nearest universitys cafeteria breakfast menu, and then plunged into the pit thrusting Flick of the Wrist in first.
Roboteers, stand by...
In the arena for the house robots are Obelix Bulguous and his deadly hammer, and Double Big Mac, the big twisty king with his spinning hammers. Makes you kinda feel bad your hammer doesnt spin, eh Obelix? :proud:

ACTIVATE!!!
Killotine is away to the races and collides with an incoming Axe-O-Lotl! WHAM! Both axes swing almost simultaneously, but its Axe-O-Lotls who connects! The armour of Killotine however withstands the blow and Killotine responds by getting under Axe-O-Lotls front wedge and hammering him into the wall, lifting him up into the air and allowing Killy to hack the underbelly! Unfortunately since Axe-O-Lotl is so close to Killys axe it doesnt do much damage, but it DOES prevent Axe-O-Lotl from flying overtop of Killotine and he lands right back on top of him! Killotine fires his axe again but the axe-shaft is halted by Axe-O-Lotls own wedge and the former swings down his axe and another blow is done to Killotines armour! This time there is a dent made but nothing more. Killotine knows that this is no place to be and reverses away, but Axe-O-Lotl is only given two more seconds of breathing room before the red Scottish terror is back for more, and the axe of Killotine slams down into Chris bots armour! The 5mm aluminum is not strong enough to withstand it and a huge hole is made where the axe hits! Axe-O-Lotls own axe descends and smacks Killotine again but its only a minimal dent. Killotine retracts and fires again, and another hole is made! Axe-O-Lotl cant stay in this position forever but he cant get away without leaving himself in a disadvantageous situation and Killotine sensing this drives forward, wedging underneath Axe-O-Lotl and careening off the wall at a sharp angle, and carries Axe-O-Lotl right into DBMs CPZ!
CRASH!!!
OOOOHHHHH! The carnage! Axe-O-Lotls entire back panel has been blown right off by the mighty hammer blow, although Axe-O-Lotl hasnt hardly at all from this hit, and Killotine noticing pushes Axe-O-Lotl further into the CPZ, in turn shoving DBM against the wall. Obelix hurries forward to aid his comrade but far too late, as Killotine backs away to let Obelix take over. Obelix would have, if Axe-O-Lotl wasnt escaping like he is now! His movement, however, seems to be quite sluggish, thanks to that hit by DBM. Good strategy on Killotines part. Killotine himself is now ramming Axe-O-Lotl back into the CPZ, and into the waiting wedge of Obelix! Axe-O-Lotl however fires the axe, and finally makes a hole in Killotines 15mm polycarbonate top armour! Not only that, but it seems to be stuck! Killotine appears to be okay and Obelix now brings down HIS hammer! BAM! The top armour is bashed inwards caving in at the back, but thankfully it releases Axe-O-Lotls axe from Killotines own armour and he comes crashing down...to meet another axe blow from Killotine! WHACK! Another sizeable hole in the obviously bruised top 5mm aluminum of Axe-O-Lotl, and Obelix now shoves both of them away, and Axe-O-Lotl spins away to escape, however his pace has slowed quite greatly! Killotine takes advantage of this and quickly getting to Axe-O-Lotls side gets under it and rams him into the angle grinder! WHAM! Axe-O-Lotl bounces away, and...no, hes still moving, but even the angle grinder has been a little damage, as there is a small gash in Axe-O-Lotls left side! Killotine spins around and easily rushes the shaken-up Axe-O-Lotl, but proceeds to axe the crap out of him! Another hole in the armour! And another! And another! Axe-O-Lotl however refuses to die, and is able to turn and face Killotine, and thwacks his axe down on Killotine again, achieving another dent. Killotine isnt too happy having even a little damage done to him and quickly rams Axe-O-Lotl into an empty CPZ! Obelix again comes over to deal with them. He tackled Killotine but edges off the side and instead smacks Axe-O-Lotl and brings down teh (not misspelled) hammer...onto the arena wall! :proud: Killotine backs away and allows Obelix to get in again, and Obelix again positions himself right...BAM!!! The armour is busted up almost completely, and no life can be seen now in Axe-O-Lotl, but time is winding down and so are Killotines chances for another KO!

The Watcher comes over for a look as Killotine revs up...
6...5...4...
Killotine guns forward and HAMMERS Axe-O-Lotl, but not over the fence, sadly! He crashes down on top of Killotine.
3...2...1...
The Watcher begins counting Axe-O-Lotl out, but...a little too late for that, ref! :proud:
CEASE!
The Watcher is denied a countout, so it goes to the judges.
Killotine: EVO - Axe-O-Lotl
Style = 4/5 - 1/5
Control = 5/5 - 0/5
Damage = 4/5 - 1/5
Aggression = 5/5 - 0/5

Tengu VII vs. IDSFA vs. Storm II
Tactics? Predictions? An autograph signed by Salamander IIIs disc? :proud:
The Crash & Burn Tournament 2
Woo-Hoo! Well done Steve - that is unauimous!
Heat F - :mrgreen: THE HEAT OF DOOM :mrgreen:
Wedga Revo 2.0 (11) vs. Cacodemon vs. Star 69 - Im actually going for Wedga to go out - if it goes for Star 69 hell be knocked away, Cacodemon is too low and might shove it into the pit. If not, then it will be Cacodemon to go out.
Tengu VII vs. IDSFA vs. Storm II - Storm II does have the weakest armour on the sides, but at the front, it is also the thinnest. However, as I have noticed before, the 50kj spinner of Typhoon didnt knock it off, it was the 90kj dic of Matilda.
IDSFA is going to go out, as it wont get under Storm 2 easily, it will have its thinner front flipper plate broken but Tengu. To put it simply, Frank is going.
For the heat, I predict in this order of proberbility, Tengu VII, Storm 2 and Wedga Revo/Star 69
The Crash & Burn Tournament 2
Wedga Revo 2.0 (11) vs. Cacodemon vs. Star 69 - Star 69 is a little too dangerous for me to go after, and my best bet at getting through to the next round anyone is attacking Wedga Revo so I guess my tactics are to use my low front wedge and good velocity to get underneath him and pit him :D
The Crash & Burn Tournament 2
Wedga Revo 2.0 (11) vs. Cacodemon vs. Star 69 (me)
Spin up and chase after whoever has the weeker armour, and hope that i can do enough damage to stop someone lol. Vague i know

You dont think I can start a heat this quickly?! Watch me! :proud:
Wedga Revo 2.0 (11) vs. Cacodemon vs. Star 69
Wedga Revo 2.0 (11) comes back from his tournament victory in the Fowler Fic War 3.1 to do some damage! Hes got a powerful flipping arm with a scoop on the end, and with 540kgs of force should launch bots into hyperspace. :proud: G5 Titanium armour wraps around this slightly Steg 2-shaped design, and LEM130 drive gives a great push against other vapourbots.
C&BT1: Defeated Slaying Mantis F in a judges decision, and amazingly took out Mass Disctruction Ultimate 3 before getting himself ejected from the warzone in the Heat C Final by 3rd seed Orka MK4.
Cacodemon is a demonic brute with four Dustin motors (giving it a top speed of 20mph) and titanium armour (8mm for the wedges/skirts, 6mm for the main body). It doesnt really have any weapons, but on its front wedge are several claws to hold opponents on the wedge and not allow to simply fly over it. Hes not so tough if flipped, though. :wink:
C&BT1: Did not enter.
Star 69 looks bright and ready. It also has LEM drive, and 4mm G5 titanium armour. It is also invertible with 6WD! Add to this that youve got an outer spinning ring with three rows of blades to slice n dice and this star-shaped bot will probably coming calling at your door...with a can of whoop-ass, that is. :proud:
C&BT1: Did not enter.

Heat F kicks off with Wedga converging upon Cacodemon. Star 69 has begun to get his weapon up to speed, and drives right off towards Wedga! Wedga tackles Cacodemons front but the ground clearance eludes him and he drives right up onto the wedge! The claws halt further approach however, and Wedga prepares to drive off of him in reverse, when a spinning weapon belonging to Star 69 smacks into his side!
CRASH!!!
Oh man! That had to hurt! Both bots are flung away by that ominous blow, Wedga sustaining a great gouge in the 5mm titanium side, and already it seems to have done something to the mechanics! He seems to be only driving around in a circle! Cacodemon drives forward, not at full speed however due to the low ground clearance and tackles Wedga into the wall. Wedga tries to push back but that loss of power on the left side has left him crippled and Cacodemon can ram to his hearts delight! Star 69 however has other plans. Spinning down his weapon he hits the pit release button, opening our beloved pit. :proud: Now hes back up to speed and charges at Wedga. Cacodemon getting the message turns away and backs towards the arena saws as Star 69 collides with Wedgas front end!
CRASH!!!
Ooh, the scoop took phenomenal damage, but is hanging by a few bits and pieces! But Star 69 did not come off too good there either! Wedga had activated the flipper at that hit, and Star 69 got sent flying! Now however hes back in action but Cacodemon snags the spotlight by getting Wedgas exposed left side and pushing him into Taki-sans CPZ! Taki turns to expose the flywheel...not as big of a crash so its not really noteworthy, but it does give Wedga a small rip in the right side now. Star 69 ruthlessly takes charge now and again rips into the 11th seed!
CRASH!!!
Wedga is dislodged from Taki and Cacodemon and is smacked against the CPZ wall! Theres no movement left in the seed...can he possibly be out, the champion of FFW3.1, in the first round of the C&BT2?! It seems the The Watcher thinks so, and seperating Taki and Cacodemon shunts into the immobilized Wedga and begins the countdown -
CRASH!!!
OOH! Star 69 came in without warning and tackled the ref, and with that blow stuck him against the wall at an odd angle! Taki seems to be enjoying this and with a playful nudge to the rear, The Watcher keels over and falls on his face! Oh, RED CARD! Send him off! Er...send them off, actually, but its Cacodemon who backs into The Watcher and slowly but surely, reaches the pit and BOOM! down goes the exceptionally peeved referee! :proud: Wedga may be out, but Andy is chuckling at the sight of The Watcher getting humiliated. Galliant contender!
CEASE!
Wedga Revo 2.0 (11) needs a revitalization, and fast. :proud:
Star 69 and Cacodemon advance to Round 2!
Next battle: Tengu VII vs. IDSFA vs. Storm II

And since when did a C40-500 Magmotor powered FBS manage to rip off a Hardox scoop? :proud: Well now that Im out, this is Tengus heat...
The Crash & Burn Tournament 2
If Dave sends in his tactics for Storm II I can begin the next fight!
The Crash & Burn Tournament 2
To hell with it. :proud:
Tengu VII vs. IDSFA vs. Storm II
Tengu VII is quite possibly the most successful vapourbot to date. Needs little to no introduction: you all know all about the spinning ring and blades, anti-spinning ring, skirting, and self-righting arm. You might also notice that it has poor traction. Just dont let her get up to speed. :proud:
C&BT1: Was in Heat G, and it smashed Whirligig 4.0 apart before having her wheels taken off by Tempest Evil-er-oution in the second round.
IDSFA aint no son of mine. :proud: He looks like Raging Knightmare but thats about it. The flipper he is at front is front-hinged and can flip opponents his own weight, and he has a rear disc dishing out 10kJ per hit. It has LEM drive giving it a top speed of 20mph and good pushing power but its armour isnt the best.
C&BT1: Made short work of The Great Cornholio, but then current champion Salamander III made short work of IDSFA in Heat H.
Storm II is arguably the most powerful robot in our current day. Hes got 6WD LEM drive allowing excellent power and speed, 6mm-12mm titanium armour over a steel chassis, and a lifting arm that can toss over its own weight. Its also invertible, therefore exposing its wheels to crushers and axes; however there are none in this fight...
C&BT1: Outclassed Mega Masher in Heat Hs first round but then Killotine: EVO took it to the pit right after.

So the plan for IDSFA...is to attack Storm II, and push it into Tengu VII. That might not work however because Storm is coming right at him! Tengu spins herself up and heads towards both other bots, but Storm is able to get under IDSFAs flipper and smashes it straight into the wall! WHAM! IDSFA gets some air and is bounced away off the wall but he doesnt get a chance to breathe because Storm is back at him, and slips under those side skirts, and up comes the arm, raising IDSFA by the wedge as he is rammed against the wall again! WHAM! He bounces again and faces away from the wall, and slides towards Storms side, and penetrates it! Storm tries to back off but FLIP! Now we have an inverted Storm! Tengu cant catch these fast machines and decides to wait in the center of the arena. Storm gets out of the way as IDSFA flies at him, now on the aggressive. The arm pops up from under Storm and he halts, trying to self-right, only to have IDSFA crash into him a second later and pile him into the wall! WHAM! He goes for the OOTA but no! Storm is merely stuck against it! Tengu seeing this opportunity decides to trek over there but IDSFA gets the hell out of the way and Storm falls on its back again. Hes not thinking of righting himself yet and jets away before Tengu can get closer, leaving the fully-spinning FBS in frustration. IDSFA is chasing after the inverted Storm who attempts to fly over the arena saws hoping they will right him...but they dont pop up. :proud: Storm goes to lift himself up off the floor again and IDSFA rushes at him...only to himself get caught by the arena saws and goes flying to the left of the now reinverted Storm II! Storm turns and barrels into IDSFAs side, but this time is unable to penetrate the skirt. Tengu is approaching again, and IDSFA tries to reverse away but Storm pushing into the side of IDSFA rolls him around in an arc...straight into Tengu! ...and there is no big crash, however, because IDSFAs disc hit the anti-spinning ring first, causing no damage to Tengu whatsoever! Tengu herself bores forward and actually nicks IDSFAs rear corner, causing some sparks and actually severely denting it! IDSFA has actually not moved from that collision thanks to Storm, but that hit causes Storm to finally get under IDSFA and WHAM! Right into the wall once more! IDSFA slides off of Storm and jets away to open the pit, only to find Tengu blocking him! He reverses away narrowly avoiding a charge from Storm, and a little maneouvering finds him at Storms side! The wedge penetrates the skirt! Tengu comes forth again and IDSFA shoves Storm onto his wedge and drives, right into Tengu!
CRASH!!!
It was what Frank was hoping for; Storm is mashed by the blow and sent spinning across the arena, removed from his skirt! And now Tengu has slowed down! IDSFA seizes his chance and barrels into Tengu but is unable to get under Tengus skirting, and more importantly unable to stop Tengu from achieving her deadly speeds! Tengu however isnt the pushiest bot by a long shot and IDSFA knowing this decides to take Tengu to a CPZ - Whamlets, in fact! The house bot rushes out before they reach the CPZ!
CRASH!!!
Tengu is seperated from IDSFA, having grievously gashed Whamlets front end but Whamlet does not appreciate that at all! WHAM! Tengu is rammed and the axe arms close around her before she can spin up! WHACK! Down come the axes onto Tengus srimech! And finally, another WHAM! signifys that Tengu has been rammed into the CPZ beside Whamlets previously occupied one! Storm finds its way into that CPZ and tackles Tengu but is also unable to get arm under! The blades of Tengu try to spin up but Whamlets scoop stops their attempt and now OBelix shoots out, tackling Storm in the rear BUT ENDS UP FLYING OVER THEM!!! Obelix is now on top of Storm and the Storm boys dont know what to do! Frank does - IDSFA gets to Storms side and gets under the now skirtless side, and tries to throw it over. No go. Tengu meanwhile is getting axed to death by Whamlets twin axes, and suddenly he lets Tengu go, but she cant go anywhere while pinning against the wall - ah, he backs up. The Watcher comes in and tackles Whamlet in the side to allow Tengu to go free but IDSFA has different feelings. He drops Storm and wheeling around rams Tengu with the wedge. Again the blades are stopped and Tengu is mashed into the wall! Storm cant seem to dislodge Obelix off of him and goes after IDSFA with the mighty house bot on top, finding Storms speed much reduced thanks to the weight! IDSFA pushes Tengu hard against the wall but that wedge just cant defeat Tengus skirt!
10...9...8...7...
Storm moves forward and Obelix is finally able to get off of him, returning to his CPZ.
6...5...4...
IDSFA is tackled from behind and that disc does hardly anything to Storm as he is pressed into Tengu, sliding underneath!
3...2...1...
IDSFA tries to get Tengu OOTA but Tengu is only pressed into the wall like Storm was before!
CEASE!
Brilliant fight! Each stood up in their own way and are pretty functional! I think IDSFA took control at the end, but lets let the judges take this one.
Tengu VII - IDSFA - Storm II
Style = 2/5 - 1/5 - 2/5
Control = 1/5 - 2/5 - 2/5
Damage = 4/5 - 1/5 - 0/5
