hi guys :)

I WILL build Gravity 5 this year :)

The drifting sport just takes too much time right now, and actually is more fun too :) I do have alot of gravity parts laying around, enough to build the 5. Just needs a sidewinder, some high pressure pneumatic piping and maybe a few batteries (current ones are still from the first ever robot I built).

:sad: im trying to remember which gravity was the first i saw on tv, that was awesome,flipping everything, looks similar to one on your profile, i think it was a european compeition or something and maybe got a puncture??? could be wrong trying to remember lol

Gravity 3 was the first one I saw - it was the one that appeared in Robot Wars Series 7 and flipped Dantomkia out in six seconds. It was also in the House Robot Rebellion with Behemoth, where it got the puncture you mentioned Adrian.

Although I know people whose knowledge on Robot Wars would put mine to shame. Watching vids of Series 7 on Youtube the other day made me realise that I could only remember the popular or successful robots from that series - half of the first round competitors I had no recollection of at all, despite that series being the most recent (although its been five years since S7 - doesnt seem like its been that long :S)

But Im not so fussed about TV robots now - as long as know whos on the live circuit (and therefore who I could potentially come up against in an event) then Im happy

gravity was a naughty bot and flipped a robot oota and didnt wait for the camera man to move the camera resulting in him getting the sack!

i think anyway lol

dont forget the flipping of thor OVER refbot, and then the axe being stuck behind the exposed co2 lines of Refbot, while Thor was hanging over the arena wall :)

regarding the building G5 this year ...
wont happen :sad: Hopefully next year, but the other hobby takes quite alot of time, not to mention money. But I do have a full contact event planned for april, you should all come ;)
