Given the final layout, which is one big 6 way battle, having 2 robots in that may give AJ an unfair advantage, so Ill go against the flow and say that Thor will win, even though it isnt impossible to get under from the front

Its not a six way battle, Paul :P I think I said earlier it was like the RW2 semi finals (gauntlet, pinball, then one-on-ones)
Just for everyones information, after this is done I shall open another tournament which will be very similar to this, only with straight fights instead of the RW1/2 format, and less entrants, and a different arena, and different house robots, and...okay, its not all that similar, but it is another tournament, and it shall feature classic heavyweights (80kg) :)
Heat E final up later tonight...Andy, if you wish to participate in the arcane practice of posting tactics, now is the time.
Ram it. :)
HEAT E FINAL
Before this starts, a very big Get well soon to Jason Marston, who is having knee surgery in a few weeks.

Exertion once more starts out quickly, coming across towards Thor, which turns to one side to avoid the charge, just being caught on the rear corner by the speeding rammer. Thor moves out, and turns towards Exertion, which backs off cautiously, and then suddenly comes straight at Thor, driving the front actuated scoop into the ground to try and get under the front of Thor...and as the two collide, Exertions greater momentum wins out and it wedges beneath the front of its opponent, but the hammer swings over from the top of Thor, slamming onto the Hardox top panel with some force!
Exertion doesnt seem harmed by the attack though, and now Andy applies full throttle to the Magmotor drive to push Thor across the arena, forcing the red robot sideways across the front scoop as it propels both itself and Thor straight into the lower patrol zone, past the house robots. Exertion slams Thor against the arena wall, backing away as Sargeant Bash comes in, gently singing the top of Thors weapon as it tries to escape, turning away as Exertion comes in again, getting under the right side of Thor and ramming it again into the corner, the arena shaking slightly as it does so. Jason looks worried, trying to back Thor out of the patrol zone, as Bash rams into the side of the machine with the front blade while scorching Thor some more, and Thor pivots around...and swings the hammer right onto the top of the house robot, catching on the flamethrower as it does so...and the flamethrower comes off! There is a big dent in Bashs rear cover, and the defunct weaponry is hanging by cables alone...Jason is cheering, the audience are pleased as well, but the joy is short lived as Sir Killalot looms behind Thor, Exertion coming again to shunt Thor into him, and the lance works underneath the rear of Thor, plucking the machine into the air! Holding his trophy aloft, Killalot begins to approach the flame pit, dangling Thor from the left arm, but the hammer swings over, and the resulting force unbalances Killalot, the house robot tipping forward, and Thor slides away from the lance, crashing upside down onto the floor!
Exertion wastes no time in coming back to slam into the beached Thor, pushing it up the arena towards the upper right corner, but halfway through the journey Thors body rotates around the hammer as it selfrights, sending it cartwheeling over Exertions body and landing facing its opponent, and Jason drives Thor back in on the attack, getting beneath the reversing Exertion and bringing the hammer down again on the top armour, an almighty crash sounding from the impact. Exertion gets traction in the scoop and gets away, and Andrew thinks quickly to get back in on Thor, which turns just as Exertion rams into it again, retracting the hammer as its opponent begins to push, retaining traction with the floor due to the shape despite being over Thors front scoop, and slowly winning the traction contest, pushing back against the drive of Thor, who brings its hammer down again, just missing the wheels of Exertion but hammering down on the side armour, flicking Exertion away to the side in the continued activity.
Exertion is underneath again, wedged under the front corner of Thor and pushing it upwards, taking its opponents wheels off the ground as it slams Thor into the upper corner of the arena, as previously intended, and backs away for another slam...Thor swings the hammer back into position, but remains still in its position - Exertion comes in again, bashing into Thor, and up in the cherry picker Jason is pushing his controls in every direction, seemingly to no effect however - the hammer swings down again, scaring the house robots somewhat, but there is no drive left in Thor, it would seem, and it is stranded up by the arena sides, as Exertion spins around in the center of the arena - Andy thinks hes won, and it would certainly seem that way, Thor immobilised by the slams of Exertion, and Jason sportingly applauds the victors, setting his controls down on the shelf in front of him.
CEASE
It was an exciting battle, but Thors thunder is silenced by the force power of Andrew Jackson and Exertion!

Tiras tactics
Uhm...oh boy, I am not liking this. Uh...Ill go for the right-hand route. Maybe the scoops can get under Matilda, and if she goes for the disc, shell get ripped to shreds. :) If she gets under the scoops, thatll tilt me around so I can reverse further in. :)
Not too confident, though.
How wide is Tira III? From the pics, I think she might be slightly too wide to fit through the rig :P
120cm.
And Im talking about the route with the pits...augh, damnit. *goes back to the first archive of this thread* :P
Matildas on the other route, I think...been aaages since I first did the layout, managed to forget some of it already :P
I look at it with the pit route as the left one and the flame pit/grid as the right, if that makes sense.
Which house robots guard the pit route again?
