anyway - robot rules randomness -
is there any rules saying you have to fofeit a fight (letting your previous opponent back in) if you cant get any faults with your robot that stop it functioning (i.e the moment you go into the next fight you wouldnt have full control of the robot drive), fixed? Perhaps there should be an amendment to competition fight rules regarding this.

I dont see the point Ewan. Yes, it would be nice for the beaten robot to be let in from that teams point of view, but essentially its a different fight. The beaten robot was still beaten, even if the robot that beat it breaks down, is totally destroyed, or unexpectedly turns into frog in its next fight. Of course, event organisers can decide to bring the beaten robot back into the competition if they like, as with The Morgue in RW, but I cant see a justification for making it a rule...
