well i have sat for 2 hours and made my very own buddy box to go with the spektrum. just for the flipper. 2 buttons. flip on, flip off, flip on, flip off. then.....flipper return when needed. cool :)

err no it just a on off button ? 1 coil one fire then off

press button......flip let go.....return via bunjee. other button return when needed :) tested this morning :)

bit about thor for a change. barnsley event at last saw the potential of thor and DAMN it looked good. definatley a force to be worried about in the future. on its weakest setting it was putting holes in the floor. sorry jonno. jason went home a very happy man for a change :)

Looking at the pics from the RR gallery, its certainly looking nice. Its changed a little in shape since I last saw it in Wales in April but from what Ive heard its really beginning to shine. Best of luck for an event win soon :)

I think we need to introduce a new system.

All roboteers will wear wristbands, and when the pit is going down, it will send 240v though the wristband, no excuse of didnt know the pit was going down :)

It all happened a bit quick but i have found a problem with the new ripper... it fits in the pit,, bring back the big old one !! :)

I really like the new Thor. And the new Ripper as well.

in all seriousness, the new ripper has been in the pit more times in its short life than the 3 years of the old one !!!

I cant even blame a pit magnet, as its all 6mm polycarb !!! :)

leave it to envy. no worries. he got lucky in the winter tour cos my scoop wasnt flush on the floor. and i drove poor. ok its a good robot but i would fear big nipper more. also when you say as good as envy......you beat envy in uk champs

i watched that fight other day and i was well lucky from what i can remember

the robots around nowadays can all beat each other apart from jonno as he drives down the pit

big nipper is hard to beat ye but when iron awe gets you it will be hard to get them back and with big nipper its abit easier as you wont be out the arena all time

but we will see at uk champs

and you beat me last week easily even tho i had no flipper you got me up side easy - well i had flipper but was on the stick and up was put flipper down and down was put flipper up and i kept doing wrong 1 lol

if anything i plan to have a good time at the uk champs win or lose. whoever wins i am sure they will deserve it. just hope lots go. plenty from over the pond and some good times. me and jason plan a major booze up so will be fun. i am sure john bell and your dad will join ther fun too. :)

waehead is just a work of art. beautiful robot. still think envy would whip it tho. i remember admiring it at an event in wales and it looks just awsome. mabee he could bring it to an event one day. i wish :)
