i have a tank like that, how are you going to attatch it to something?
Got a connector on the way.
remember electronizers arnt easy to drive (bulldozer is a example) :P
I'll get used to it over time.
Interesting comment - electronizers seem popular due to being robust. Hadn't heard that they are tricky to drive (or this a tongue in cheek comment ?)Quote:

They don't automatically stop the drill motors, so they keep turning after the control stick has returned to the neutral position.
Where did you get the connector?
Do you have a link?
It's being custom made by Mario out of aluminium. Ask him if you want him to do the same for you.
Finished pneumatics:

how much did that setup cost you?
£297 for the whole thing.
whats the bore/stroke of the ram and the weight of the system?
The ram has a 50mm bore and a 100mm stroke, the weight of the system is about 6kg with my 20oz main tank.
When posted like this, I should have sandblasted the Paintball Bottle filling station.
Got a mock up finished, it now drives:

thats going to be really good jarvis :D
even if its a flipper ;) to meany fo them lol jks still goode
Neat!
With 100 psi that setup won't be very powerfull. But for tests, why not?
Well, it still bent the piece of steel on top of it purely by the fact that it wanted to keep on moving after it stopped, and it was 1/8 thick.
There is a reason the T on Hannibalito III's ram is made from a 40mm diameter ali rod.
New CAD design:

Please don't complain on the design because frankly,
I'M NOT CHANGING IT
You can change the paint job for one! :D
It's perfectly functional. I don't see the problem.
I would suggest using 8mm HDPE bolted to ali angle. With the ali on the inside.
dont change the paintjob, i like it :D
Maybe a bit too eruption/explosion-y. Why not just use the paintjob you did before?
This robot seems to be coming along well and looks good too! :D
I hope we'll be seeing it in action soon. ;)
It will have more detail (A BioHazard symbol and writing), but it's difficult to add in Google Sketchup.Quote:

Personally, I see that as our colour scheme. These are used so that the crowd can recognise robots from certain teams. By having two teams use one scheme the whole purpose is completely redundant!
There are many other colour schemes that you could use
I'm very sorry, I forget these things easily. I will change it.
replace the yellow stripy bits with lime green :)
just right not associated with team invade on it in very large letters
haha :P
