did a little work on the dove from above today i got the baseplate made up and i made one of the packs.
the way it is its wider than it is long, will this cause any problems turning?
With 4WD 'tank' turning it is helpful to turning if the wheels are further apart widthways than they are lengthways.
So it is fine.
good :)

Being that to Worthing I want to fight it!
okey dokey smokey blokey
:D
cool, how much can it lift and how fast is the lifter?
hopefully it can lift a feather, ive only had it on a nearly flat 12v but it seemed quite fast
The real question is: Will it blend?
i dont fink so
got it driving, here is the lifter in action
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvGrxB__DpA
thats not going to bend the pivot point is more likely to break than that, and against feathers it won't be near its limits looks good :)
Good to see it going. It'll lift at least 50kg if the battery's providing sufficient current at 12V. (lifted Storm II once back when it was an all aluminium frame.. wouldn't try that again though!)
Looks like you might want to tune your exponentials and slew rates on the drive channels- unless you were just being very careful not to hit stuff!
thanks, its really good :)
the mixing on my transmitter dosnt seem to work with it though :?
here we go, its got clothes now

hey im trying to remove one of the wheels on this but its glued on, any thoughts on how to get it off?
its a drill motor and 100mm blue wheel
what my dad said to you :)
cant really do that cos i cant take the motor out of the bot without taking hte wheel off, may try though :?
A pair of mole grips on the motor shaft should allow you to get enough torque to break the glue.
i found a hammer worked just fine :proud:
work i have done, trying to feel less guilty about buying a pre made robot
so i changed the motors....

i also painted the hardox front scoop a lovley red
