This show;

What was their talent?
Not going to be able to bring Bitza 2.0 unfortunately, the pitfalls of an odd design and building it from scrap.....
I'm going to download Epic Win and see if I can upload it to YouTube.
Had a great day yesterday - does anyone have video of Weired mAlice ootaing explosion? Must get that big heat sink on the wotty so it stops overheating. Disappointed not to be able to stay, hope today has gone well.
Good fun as always. Then I came hope and watched thor and ripper, getting them on saturday evening tv was brilliant PR. I did think ripper might just get out, looked like it ran out of flips. Excellant despondant kick when walking away, I guess that is what happens when you get your chopper stuck in a cupboard.
Really enjoyed this weekend had a mixed level of success with Maelstrom- did really well yesterday throwing Kronic, Merlin and Cherub out of the arena and beat IA5 nicely today before we roasted some motor wiring, got that fixed only to have the other motor do the same thing in the final.
Well done to Jonno for winning the heavyweights with Ripper, Alex for winning the feathers with Tiny Toon, Shane for the Tanja Fight with Tiny Hurtz and also Terry for defending Swannys nut- well deserved wins all round.
Also well done to Adrian and Michael for a very impressive display with Eruption- worked very well for its first outing and when they sort out the bugs we are all in trouble
Thanks to everyone at Robots Live and see you all at the next one!
just a collection of photos and video clips of a great day

A great two days. Thanks to the Youngs for making it happen.
Good fun guys, thanks to the youngs.
Not too bad since Rippers flipper was only running on the small valve.
Upgrades planned now, more gas more power :-)
Looking forward to Portsmouth !!
Thanks to the entire crew for hosting yet another fantastic event.
Well done to Jonno & Alex for winning the competitions. Also Shane for winning the Tanja fight and Terry for retaining the Bud Challenge.
It was a great day out, I really enjoyed it!
As always many thanks to the Robots Live crew great event and lots of fun glad. Zack got second place in the feathers well done Alex for getting the first place spot well deserved mate :D :D
The robots didn't do too bad this weekend Chain broke on Cherub but I think it was damaged at some event before, thanks to Jonno for the split link.
Tron died on the last fight the motor seized and blew one channel on the Wotty 100 Ian now has it. Strange I mentioned to another guy how Tron dose not blow motors that often and then the same day, it decides to prove me wrong!!
Seraph went with no problems the thing is un-stoppable then again should I say that. :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh:
Sounds like we missed out! What's the Tanja fight?
Any videos?
Looks like the BBC beat me to uploading it!Quote:

Hey all, just wanted to say - great event and well done to all attending. Hopefully I didn't come across too jetlagged, I think I win the award for the further travelled to get to an event. Las Vegas to Heathrow to get there, and currently sitting at Heathrow waiting to fly back out this time to Buenos Aries, literally did come back to host the event !
If anyone thinks they've managed to travel further - bring it on ;)
A really enjoyable and tiring weekend.Big thanks to all of the Robots Live crew for putting it on.
Congratulations to Shane on the Tanja Trophy win and to Terry on keeping his hands on Swannys Nut, also to Zak and Will on hard fought out 2nd places. Most importantly well done Jonno and Alex on a clean sweep in the competition fights for Team Barbie. The Pink Army minces on. :proud: :proud:
Digging through old blog and found video clip of Worthing 2003, stuck it on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqO3qSL_cLU&sns=emQuote:

Thanks to everybody that came and well done to all of the winners (don't worry Jonno, we'll put a bigger RL logo on the next trophy!). Big thanks to all the crew; Ed & Dave, thanks to Chris Tait for stepping on the sound whilst Dave G was on his holidays, thanks to a jetlagged Ed on the mic! Thanks to Jackie for keeping the crew supplied with cups of tea, much appreciated. Thanks to the teams who arrived early to help with the arena, takes some of the workload off us, and Terry for staying and helping with the get-out (tell Toby if he tries anything, he'll be sharing a room with the mechanoid!).
Next one Kidderminster!
Hi, I did film it, but as many people know, I had major problems with my camera and lost 10 videos, of which the final melee on saturday was one of. I'm sorry, but I think Dave (razerdave) filmed it.Quote:

Hi Jarvis, thank you for all the other videos.
Many thanks Dave, much appreciated.
Yes Jonno, at least from our point of view, the most interesting event of the weekend. Weird mAlice came of age. :)Quote:
