Shoulder joints cut from blocks of aluminium
The four 'legs' are turned in the lathe
Almost finished the first shoulder joint!
Second one... lets start again!
The first tail made from 0.6mm Titanium.... Was too thin to weld so its a spare just sat here on the shelf :(
Parts taped together. Starts to look good!

Unfortunately the heat distorts it... scrap :( start again.
8kg billet of 2014 aluminium will be turned for the head.

Complete shoulder assembly ready to bolt in. Shoulders also have rubber inserts for shock absorbsion.

How did you cut the shapes for the Ali arms?
It is a tiny robot if you take off the arms and tail. Things only just fit it lol... its very tight. I am hoping i can get it well under weight so it can be armoured up for combat.

New arm plates are made and bent to shape. Bolted to the shoulder.
