Diabolous has weak armour, as it was proved in S7. Infernal Contraption might rip it apart, or Diablous will get in a good hit first. Hard will probably go through if it doesn't break down
As for my fight, I will go for IG88 as Steel Avenger is evenly matched

Diabolus vs Hard vs Infernal Contraption ~ Go for Diabolus. I'd like to propose a team-up with Hard to get it out. I'm far too slippery to be pushed around by Hard anyway so it would do whoever entered it good to team up ;) :P Diabolus has weak armour, so my drum should make quick work of it, just spin up and slam into it as hard as I can and as many times as possible.
IG-88 vs The Steel Avenger vs Iron Awe 2.1 ~ I can see SA going out here unless IG-88 gets flipped.

Araknia vs Reactor 2 vs Wolverine ~ Go for Araknia. Again, whoever entered Wolverine is welcome to team up with me if they wish :D Either way, still go for Araknia and flip it into the hazards, the bog-standard armour won't hold up long.
259 vs Reptirron the Second vs Hassocks Hog 2 ~ I can see Reptirron going out here, unless the Hog flips 259. I can't see Reptirron flipping 259 itself, but I can see 259 or the Hog flipping Reptirron easily.
Heat Winner: It's pretty open, but I'd say 259 or Wolverine

Tomohawk vs Gyrobot vs S.M.I.D.S.Y ~ Tomohawk out, by pitting I think. Gyrobot could go either, depends who S.M.I.D.S.Y goes for really.
Sir Chromalot vs Diotoir vs Constrictor ~ Either a) flip Diotoir or b) flip Constrictor and don't flip it back, I know it's invertible but I don't think it can self-right. Whichever option I use depends on who wants to team up :D If I'm teamed upon, go for option A as it's the easiest.

Tonight, sees the start of a brand new tournament dedicated to those robots who never made it past the Heats, but bought us so much fun and joy in between. Tonight sees the robots we thought we'd forgotten forever. Tonight, we unleash....the Legends!

Welcome to Robot Wars - The Legends Special. This is a very special tournament, which involves no champions, no grand finalists and no semi-finalists - instead, we have some of the most pluckiest most determined robots ever in the series, who have NEVER made it out of the heats before, fighting it out to finally accomplish that one dream they never had, and reach the Grand Final.
The way this works is very simple....to explain. Our robots have been divided into two three-way melees and one robot is eliminated from each. So lets check out the first battleboard.

ROUND 1

FROM THE ISLE OF SHEPPEY - DIABOLUS
This machine was knocked out quite easily in Round 1 of the 7th wars, trashed by X-Terminator and Tsunami. The team also competed in Series 5 with Kliptonite, which performed just as badly.
This is a box shaped robot, quite fast around the arena, with two very nasty horizontal spinning discs, designed to rip into the armour of other robots. It's invertible - it can run either way up in other words, but its armour is very weak on the top and side.
FROM BELGIUM - HARD
This robot has fought in the UK, Dutch and World Championships, with no great success.
This small wedge shaped robot is as tough as its name suggests. Its armour is almost indestructable and its size makes it difficult to get hold of. It has a flipper arm as its main weapon and can run upside down if it needs to, but it is not very reliable.
FROM LONDON AND LINCOLNSHIRE - INFERNAL CONTRAPTION
Knocked out in Round 1 of the 6th and 7th wars.
In many ways, this machine resembles Grand Finalist Stinger, which is no suprise, as team captain Jonathan Pillai used to drive that robot. Infernal Contraption has a 16kg spinning drum that spins at 1000rpm, and as an added bonus, it gets up to speed in only three seconds, so they don't have to wait between attacks. I don't trust the reception though.

And the Legends Tournament is off and underway. The three charge straight into the centre of the arena. Infernal Contraption rides straight up the front of Hard and rolls over. That won't bother it, it's fully invertible. Diabolus tries its luck on Hard, and the blades cause some nice sparks, but frankly very little else. Hard pushes underneath Diabolus and flips it up...not over though. In comes Infernal Contraption....OW! The disc strikes Diabolus in the side and knocks it up even further. There is now a nasty scratch on the side of Diabolus. Diabolus turns to try and get its blade into Infernal Contraption, but the two flywheels end up meeting!
CLANG!!
Oh, and DIABOLUS HAS LOST A FLYWHEEL! One of its saw blades has broken off completely! That is not good news! Hard now comes in from the side, burrows underneath Diabolus and pushes it across the arena into a CPZ, and that's where Shunt lurks!
CRASH!
The axe goes straight through Diabolus' top armour. The team said they thought it might be a weakness. Infernal Contraption strikes Hard in the side, knocking the Belgian machine around, but it lands right way up. Shunt meanwhile pushes Diabolus out of the CPZ and back into the action, but it doesn't quite look so active and strong now. It limps back into the arena centre, only for Infernal Contraption to strike again...
CLANG!!
The other disc breaks off! Diabolus is toothless, defenseless....gutted, really. Hard pushes the pit release button. Infernal Contraption hits Diabolus again! This time it looks like a side panel is breaking away! The Diabolus team seem to know their game is up. It is now only just moving. Hard comes in from behind and pushes it....all the way to the Pit. Down and out.
CEASE!
That was a Diabolical fight for Diabolus.
Hard and Infernal Contraption go through!

Welcome back to Robot Wars, the Legends Special. If you just joined us, Diabolus got sent packing the hard way, leaving Hard and Infernal Contraption to press on to Round 2. Well, we now have three more robots fighting for a place in the Legends Final. Lets see who's up next...

FROM CLACTON-ON-SEA, IN ESSEX - IG-88
A heat finalist in Series 7, only to be thrown out of the arena by Dantomkia in the second-shortest fight ever in Robot Wars history.
This reverse wedge shape is extremely compact and should be able to survive a good few knocks. Its weapon is what the team claim to be a bi-rotational axe, which basically means it can spin in both directions. This weapon is very, VERY destrictive, but with no srimech, it could find itself in a lot of trouble.
FROM LANFORD, IN SOMERSET - IRON AWE 2.1
Iron Awe has been in competition for four wars, never escaping the heats....often flying out of the arena instead.
This box-wedge shaped machine isn't armoured with iron, unfortunately, but it is an awe to see battle. Two powerful weapons, a pneumatic axe and a pneumatic flipper, make it an extremely threatening force in the arena. It is fast and quite durable, but all too flippable still, I fear.
FROM COLCHESTER, IN ESSEX - THE STEEL AVENGER
The oldest of our competing teams, debuting in War 3. This robot has just about recovered from its headache after being slammed into the arena wall by Storm 2, then flying straight out.
Its a basic box/plough shaped machine, fast around the arena and weilding a very threatening looking axe. The front also has a ramming blade and the back has a flipper, attached to arms which act as a srimech. I don't really trust the accuracy or the ground clearance, though.

3....2....1....ACTIVATE!!
And the second battle is underway. The Steel Avenger charges straight into the middle of the arena. IG-88 gives chase. Steel Avenger turns straight INTO the bi-rotational axe, and gets a massive hit! A MASSIVE HIT! One that puts a nasty looking gash in the side. The feather duster, bought out of retirement, was shaken there. Iron Awe comes in from the side of IG-88 and flips it up....and over! Barely seconds into the battle and it could be all over. IG-88, with no srimech, is going nowhere anytime fast, and that is a huge disapointment. Iron Awe, meanwhile, flips over The Steel Avenger. Steel Avenger rights itself and attacks Iron Awe with its axe, but both machines are safely through, as Refbot comes in to count out IG-88.
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8! 9! 10!
That's it. IG-88 out. Shunt comes out and pushes IG-88 onto the drop zone, where waiting are a set of railway sleepers. This can only go badly. Down they come...
CRASH!!
No damage, to be fair to IG-88, but it's still out.

IG-88 derailed very quickly.

A little quiet, I felt, with Iron Awe doing most of the work against IG-88.

This will be an interesting battle. Infernal Contraption charges out and hits The Steel Avenger full on. The Steel Avenger swings its axe, and hits the outer rim of one of the wheels. Infernal Contraption is a small robot and the design, I think, may give The Steel Avenger a lot of trouble. The Avenger tries clinging to Infernal with its axe, but it can only hold on for 30 seconds before it must let go. It does so and Infernal Contraption rides away. It turns and tries a side onslaught, but Steel Avenger tries to take a swing...no, it's missed! And that allows Infernal Contraption to rush around the side and hit it with its flywheel.
BAMM!
The Avenger is jolted, but not really much more than that. Infernal Contraption rushes out of the way, the disc quickly getting up to speed, three seconds let me remind you. The Steel Avenger turns as well....right now it seems like the two are each trying to get in an attacking position on the other at the same time....no, hang on, Steel Avenger reverses into Infernal Contraption...
BAMM!
The rear end takes a nasty buffeting! Steel Avenger tries to use its lifter, and overturns Infernal Contraption. That won't worry it, though. It can run either way up. The two robots turn, Infernal slightly the faster...
BAMM!
It hits The Steel Avenger in the side again! This is very even so far. Both machines seem to be playing a very stratergic game here. Very close between the two....right now, they seem to be meerly dodging each other....oh, another head on collision! Infernal has veered slightly to the side, and The Steel Avenger fires its axe....but fails again to strike an effective part of Infernal Contraption. That really is a worry here. But again, it's grabbed hold of it, and it is taking its prey....towards the CPZ perhaps....yes, and Growler grabs hold of Infernal Contraption's wheel. He carries it to the centre of the arena, and does a nice little spin with it. Infernal Contraption looking a little weary...but it has been let go and it is away again...
BAMM!
Straight into the side of The Steel Avenger again....a buffet, but not much damage....the odd scratch down the side perhaps. Still, though, the two robots have to play their little game, and we're running out of time....

The Steel Avenger has just landed a hit on Infernal Contraption at last!

And its all over. It goes to the judges. They'll, of course, be marking on Style, Control, Damage and Aggression. Lets have a look at the scorechart for that battle.

Control - Not great, unable to avoid two grabs by Steel Avenger. 2/5

Two very impressive machines, I felt. Iron Awe rushes out to the centre of the arena. Hard quickly turns and dodges to the side. It gets underneath Iron Awe and flips it...not quite over, but now Hard tries to bury itself underneath Iron Awe's body. It pushes it across the arena, lifting it up. It is strong for a machine so small. Iron Awe is stuck...no, Hard drops it. Unable to flip it that way, it'll have to try an alternative. It tries to get around the side again, but this time Iron Awe gets underneath Hard's ground clearance....and FLIPS! Hard tumbles away across the arena! It was a mighty flip. Iron Awe moves closer...is Hard moving? It is now, Iron Awe flips it again! Close to the arena edge! But I don't think Hard is moving under its own power! I think it's broken down! Iron Awe gets underneath again....and Throws it out of the arena! Goodbye, Hard! See you again on the next plane home!

Infernal Contraption is hard to get hold off, which is probably why the Steel Avenger lost to it. However, Iron Awe is much bigger than SA, so I will flip Infernal Contraption around and maybe push it into the pit.

Welcome back everyone. We're finally done with Heat A of The Legends Special. Two of the meanest, toughest legends have survived, but only one will escape the heats for the very first time.

THE STORY SO FAR

INFERNAL CONTRAPTION looked very impressive in the first round battle. It was quick and nippy across the arena and its spinning drum did a lot of critical damage to Diabolus, who ended up in the pit. It then tackled The Steel Avenger and managed to evade most of its hits to win through on a judges decision.
IRON AWE 2.1, with The Steel Avenger, qualified after causing a massive upset, flipping IG-88 over in a matter of seconds. The lack of a srimech left Team Vader's machine down and out, leaving Iron Awe to convincingly defeat Hard, throwing it from the arena.

And off they go. Infernal Contraption attempts to via to the side, but Iron Awe is able to get underneath one of its wheels, and flips it! That won't worry the invertible Infernal Contraption, as it tries to attack Iron Awe from the side. But Iron Awe turns, and manages to get the flipper underneath Infernal Contraption again. It flips it upwards. And flips it again. Infernal Contraption either keeps landing on the flipper, or it can't get away quickly enough. Three flips pass before Infernal Contraption is finally able to get away. Infernal Contraption now tries to get around the side, like it did with Steel Avenger, but Iron Awe sees the chance....down comes the axe....Oh, it's actually HIT Infernal Contraption this time. The axe not only shorter, but with the smaller point, it is able to more effectively grapple onto Infernal Contraption, and has seized it right on the flywheel brace. Iron Awe pushes it towards the CPZ....no, changes its mind and hits the pit release button instead, and the pit slowly desends. But Iron Awe can't hold Infernal Contraption forever and the axlebot slips from its grasp. It runs back to the centre of the arena, turns, only for Iron Awe to catch up and flip it again, skyward. It lands, and Iron Awe snags it with the axe again. It reverses back towards the pit......OOOOH, careful! Nearly reversed straight in! But Iron Awe turns, and Infernal Contraption simply cannot get a grip.....and down the pit it goes!

Infernal Contraption....Infernal to Eternal Bot-Damnation, I'm afraid.
THE WINNER.....AND THROUGH TO THE LEGENDS FINAL.....IRON AWE 2.1

Welcome to Robot Wars - The Legends Special. Last time, you would have seen Infernal Contraption tamed and caged by Iron Awe 2.1, who is now heading through to the Grand Final.
But more action awaits us tonight. Amongst the competitors tonight, Series 5 heat finalist Reactor 2 makes a welcome return, as well as one of the most feared robots ever - the vertical flywheel weilding 259. It's going to be a rough night tonight.

The second heat, and already the Legends Special is proving to be quite a surprising competition. When the robots are fighting for their very first Grand Final, I guess that isn't surprising. FROM PRESTON IN LANCHESIRE - ARAKNIA
Decimated in the first round of the 7th wars, and the teams previous entrant, Riptilion, didn't fare any better.
This pentagonal shaped robot is invertible, enabling it to work in either direction. It moves with speed, and it has a spinning bar on the front with rare Earth magnets inside. But the armour, carbon-fibre and fibreglass, may just as well be cardboard, as described by the team, and at only 77 kilos, it's the lightest in the heat.
FROM LEICESTERSHIRE - REACTOR 2
Defeated Gemini in Series 5 to reach the heat final, the team also entered Series 7 with a machine called Rhino.
This is a unique teardrop shaped robot, big at the back and narrower at the front, running on Ben-Hur spiked wheels. The front houses a unique flamp - part flipper, part clamp - and a pneumatic axe sits at the back. The design of this robot also allows it to roll back onto its wheels no matter how often it is flipped. At 8mph, however, it's slow.
FROM SWANLEY IN KENT - WOLVERINE
Beaten in the first round of the 5th wars by Wheely Big Cheese after starting promisingly.
Named after the largest member of the weasel family, Wolverine isn't intending to pop anytime soon. This low box shaped robot is fast, quite agile and has a front bulldozer shovel with enough power, the team claim, to lift railway sleepers. I just fear for its lack of destructive weaponary, though.

My fancy would be on Reactor 2, personally. It is Wolverine off to the fastest start though. It charges forward and plows straight into the side of Araknia, not paying any attention to its spinning blade. It lifts up the spider based robot, but fails to flip it completely. Instead, it simply attempts to push it around, close to Reactor. Reactor turns to use its axe, and the head goes straight through the cardboard armour of Araknia. If I'm honest, this doesn't look good at all for Araknia. Reactor chops at Araknia several more times with its axe. Wolverine lifts it up again, and Reactor continues to chop, large rips being made in the top. Now Reactor turns and uses its flamp to flip Araknia up. Wolverine drives on, can the two overturn it? Yes, Araknia is upside down...and Wolverine pushes it across the arena....towards the flame pit! Araknia catches fire instantly, as Wolverine backs away. Araknia doesn't seem to be moving at all. This is going to be a very quick fight...and indeed, Refbot comes in to count Araknia out.

Araknia has fallen at the first hurdle again. Sir Killalot comes in and grasps its body with his powerful claw. He decides to place the burning spider....on the arena floor flipper. Now we wait....AND THERE IT GOES! Flying spider! Araknia, still on fire, is thrown by the flipper, and even as it lands, there is still a flicker of flame.
CEASE!!

FROM ROMFORD IN LONDON - 259
One of the most feared robots of the Sixth Wars, surprisingly lost in its heats. Team captain Adam Clark has also competed with Vector of Armageddon, Corporal Punishment and Wowot, with little success.
This machine is dangerous. Low to the ground, and with skirts to prevent it from being flipped, 259's weapon is a massive vertical spinning flywheel, capable of ripping off armour and throwing robots around the arena easily. A middleweight version of this feared machine also exists. Sadly, it is not entirely secure or reliable, and I fear it might fall apart at the seams
FROM HASSOCKS IN WEST SUSSEX - HASSOCKS HOG 2
Lost in Round 1 of the 6th and 7th wars after various mechanical setbacks.
This is a large wedge shaped robot with large stabilising furry ears, almost certainly a fire hazard. Its weapon is a computer-optimised flipper, which is said to be really powerful if it works properly. However, it is not exactly the most reliable machine around, and it also has an unfortunate crush on Matilda....you really need therapy, my boy.
FROM FROM DRYBROOKE IN GLOUSTERSHIRE - REPTIRRON THE SECOND
Beaten in Round 1 of the 4th and 6th wars, and thrown out of the arena by Firestorm in Series 7.
This is a box shaped four wheel drive monocoque, used to describe a robot which has one large sheet of armour instead of bolted on sections. It has two powerful weapons, a lifting scoop at the front and a vertical disc at the back. It is very fast and manuverable, but somewhat unreliable, and not the best at self-righting.

And the fight begins. Reptirron the Second and Hassocks Hog turn around each other, each a little weary and with good reason, because 259 is potentially lethal. Reptirron makes a charge, though, and tries to get around the side of 259. However, it just lightly hits the skirts. 259 turns...
WHAM!!
Reptirron is buffeted up, but not over! But maybe that shall serve as a VERY real warning. 259 now turns its attention to Hassocks Hog 2. Hassocks Hog gets underneath 259, and flips it up!....but not over. 259 lands on its wheels and drives forward...
WHAP!! PSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSTTTT!!!
Oh no, that's terrible news for Hassocks Hog 2! The flipper has been damaged and its CO2 is escaping, which means of course that its main weapon is no longer operational. 259 is dominating this battle as I feared it might. It drives into Hassocks Hog again...
WHAM!!
The blow knocks the Hog aside! Reptirron the Second now charges at 259....and I literally mean straight for it....
CLANG!!
OUCH! That had to hurt! The flipper of Reptirron the Second looks a bit bent now. 259's disc, though, is still powering on. It pauses, as if waiting for its next strike. Reptirron, seemingly despirate, turns to gets its spinning disc into play, but it collides with 259's flywheel again...
WHAM!!
And the force of 259's disc is enough to flip Reptirron the Second over completely! It's now on its back, and it doesn't even look like it is capable of trying to self-right. 259 could easily come in here and deliver a fatal blow....but hang on, what's happened to 259? The flywheel is spinning dangerously, but it doesn't appear to be moving lengthways across the arena. Has it lost drive? Hassocks Hog 2 is still moving, but I think only in a circle, the last hit from 259 must have damaged a drive motor. Reptirron the Second is lying on its back, and 259 IS SMOKING!! A motor is burning out!! Refbot comes in to have a look...as do the House Robots...
CEASE!!
And the fight has been stopped! All three robots have been seemingly immobilised at the same time. The judges will have to decide what to do now....

Welcome back to Robot Wars - The Legends Special. If you just joined us, we've just had an extremely tight and potentially controversial tussle, as 259, Hassocks Hog 2 and Reptirron the Second have all ended up immobilised. One of them has to go, so we'd best find out who its going to be.
Because of the immobilisation, the judges have been studying the events very closely. And here are the reasons the robots became immobilised.
259 - Drive Belt broke off after Reptirron drove into its flywheel.
Hassocks Hog 2 - Lost drive to one wheel after being hit in the side by 259.
Reptirron the Second - Knocked over by 259's flywheel after it broke down.
And basing it on those, it has become apparant that the first robot immobilised......
.....was Hassocks Hog 2.
So, by the narrowest of margins....
259 AND REPTIRRON THE SECOND GO THROUGH!!

Right, ive got the tough end of the stick here.
I should have superior speed, so just avoid that disc and get at his sides. If i get under the skirt, ill lift and push as it
cannot self-right. If the tactic doesn't work open up the pit and get him down ASAP

If memory serves I entered Reactor :P
If memory serves again Reactor can self-right and Reptirron can't, so eventually should be able to flip and immobilise him.

OK guys, I suppose I should say this now. This Saturday, I will be going on holiday for a week, and I won't have internet access. However, I will still try to write at least both first round battles for Heat C.

And the semi finals begin, with Wolverine, the quicker of the two, turning to get away from that flywheel. 259 follows, but it is quite slow, at only 9mph. Wolverine aims to get around the side...and does so. The side skirt of 259 is buffeted, but Wolverine doesn't quite get underneath. 259 turns, and Wolverine turns as well...
WHAM!!
Wolverine's side is caught quite badly, but it doesn't fall on its back. It backs away to recover, but doesn't have time to turn as 259 comes towards it head on. But instead of reversing, it decides to run straight at it...
WHAM!!
But whilst one may have expected Wolverine to be buffeted, it has, in fact, gotten underneath 259! This is a surprise. Wolverine lifts up 259, which balances on its back, but lands the right way up...but right back on Wolverine, who is now further underneath. Wolverine flips 259 again, and this time, 259 falls over!! 259 is on its back, and with no self-righting mechanism, it isn't going anywhere! Wolverine spins in celebration, and hits the pit release button. Refbot comes in to count down and out 259...

Dead Metal immediately rushes out to greet 259. He grabs it in his pincers, and slices through its soft underbelly. Luckily, for 259, with the pit already open, Dead Metal decides to push it in soon afterwards...and at least it stayed in better condition than when it fought Fluffy.

The battle begins, both robots determined to go through. Reptirron turns away from the initial charge of Reactor 2. Like Wolverine, it has the speed advantage over its opponent. It aims for the sides, Reactor tries to turn, but it doesn't make it in time, and Reptirron flips it over! Reactor's flamp opens and shuts, its wheels spin....and it falls back onto its wheels, making use of its unique and innovative srimech system. Reptirron, however, isn't letting it get away that easily, and begins pushing it from the rear. Reactor uses its axe weapon, but causes minimal problems for Reptirron, who flips it up again. This time, however, Reactor's long body saves it, and it doesn't fall over. Reptirron, however, keeps pushing, and Reactor is marshalled into a CPZ, where Cassius Chrome awaits. He pushes Reactor into the arena wall, and holds it there briefly. Not for long, though, as Reactor reverses away, and hits the pit release button. Reptirron rushes back, and attempts to push it into the pit, but Reactor simply keeps moving forward, and Reptirron's pitting attempt fails. But as Reactor turns, Reptirron gets underneath its side and flips it again! This time, though, Reactor rolls right back over and around. The two begin to circle each other now, and it's obvious neither is willing to give up without a fight. But now, suddenly, Reactor gets underneath Reptirron...and flips....oh, Reptirron lucky there to stay on its wheels. Reptirron pauses, then charges again, but the two skirt down each others sides. Reactor tries to turn into Reptirron again, but Reptirron glances back, and attempts to push Reactor from behind. Reactor can't push back, and Reptirron opens its flipper, and makes the charge....and down the pit goes Reactor! Oh, what a shame!

YES I finally made it to the heat final
OK just avoid that flipper, its not the fastest so get to his rear and push him from there into the house robots, keep at
his sides and knock him down the pit

Well, it's been another interesting heat of Robot Wars - The Legends Special. After several scrapes and awkward moments, four legends have been shunted out of the spotlight, with just two remaining. Only one can go through to the Legends Final. Let's remind ourselves how they got this far...
WOLVERINE has looked pretty strong throughout this heat. It used its pushing ability well to dispose of Araknia, and then brute determination to sink the impressive 259.
REPTIRRON THE SECOND had a rough ride in comparison. Alongside 259, it was rendered immobile, but went through after Hassock's Hog was deemed even more so. From there, a long and dogged fight against Reactor 2 ended with Reptirron's superior driving skill and turning circle winning the battle.

Neither robots have made it to this stage before. But they rush out straight away. Wolverine, the faster, wants to avoid that front flipper of Reptirron. The two turn, with Wolverine trying to get around the back of Reptirron. Reptirron turns, but not quite quickly enough, and Wolverine gets under the side. It lifts....but doesn't quite flip over the wide Reptirron. Reptirron reverses away, Wolverine follows. Wolverine gets to the side again, and pushes against Reptirron, trying to get it towards a CPZ. Shunt is waiting there, but Reptirron slips out of the way before Wolverine can push it there. Wolverine isn't giving up yet, and it charges towards Reptirron's side again. The two circle each other, their metal sides grinding against each other, so to speak. Wolverine fires its scoop at thin air, allowing Reptirron to adjust position. They're both desperate to get that one vital flip in. Wolverine tries to rush around the back of Reptirron....but it doesn't turn quickly enough....Reptirron gets underneath....and FLIPS! Wolverine rocks up....and Reptirron keeps pushing....AND WOLVERINE FALLS OVER ONTO ITS BACK! And I don't think it wants a tummy-tickle either. Reptirron turns and strikes Wolverine with its spinning disc, not causing much damage. Wolverine fires its scoop, but that won't get it back upright. Refbot comes in to investigate...

And Wolverine, my favourite for this, is out! Dead Metal comes rushing out to meet and greet...and eat the carcass of Wolverine. He buries his circular saw straight into Wolverine's underbelly, sparks flying. Now he drags Wolverine onto the arena floor flipper. You ever seen a flying Wolverine? How about.....NOOOOOOWWW!! Wolverine lands....right way up!! It runs away, but it's much too late now. You're out! Dead Metal clutches it again, as if to remind it it is already out...

So, Reptirron the Second joins Iron Awe 2.1 in what promises to be a cracking Legends Final. Next time, six more robots will fight it out to join them.

My robot in the next heat (Tomohawk) is teaming up with Gyrobot. The plan is
stay away from smidsy's front and bash his sides. Try taking out a wheel or 2 in the process, and leave the front of it to
the spinning ring of Gyrobot. If he can rip off the jaws, i'll come up to the front and axe it to death, then if its still alive
knock it down the pit

I think Wolverine does have a self-righting arm on top of it, but it doesn't matter.
If Gyrobot wants to team up with me, SMIDSY will go after Tomohawk.

I see....well, that was hard to judge when the only time it was flipped was when it was thrown out of the arena. I had to guess on my own terms. ^^;;
