I question the realism of Skull here; with those compact dimensions there's no way you're going to get all those MagMotors in there. It probably is in weight but the dimensions need to be bigger. Anyway I'll start off by avoiding NC and attacking the sides of Skull. 3.2mm Hardox is decent armour but it shouldn't last too long against my discs. :)

...lol. Pussycat's beaten Splinter, but S3 seems to be asking for a grapple'n'pit by Splinter, and S3 could damage Pussycat's tires. I have absolutely no idea who's going to lose here.

the pit will go up and a random pit anywhere in the arena will descend.

Jinx starts off by charging Apocolypse 2 and hammering the the top as Eternia just drives around waiting for a chance to
get that flipper into play. Apocolypse 2 flips Eternia half way across the arena. And it looks like a huge amount of c02 has
just come out of Apocolypse 2. Lets look at the replay. Jinx hit the co2 supply when the flipper fired. Which means that
Apocolypse 2 is in real trouble as Jinx gets even more hits in. Apocolypse now gets away and rams Eternia towards the
house robots as Shunt brings it's axe down on Eternia. But no damage caused as Eternia gets away and flips Jinx up and
over. But Jinx self rights as Apocolypse tries to ram jinx. But Jinx slams it's axe down and pins it there. Now Jinx has got
Apocolypse where she wants him. Now Jinx slams Apocolypse into the arena wall. Eternia now crashes the party and flips
the both of them over. Jinx manages to claw it's way out of being stuck on Apocolypse. But is still on it's back. Now Jinx
finally self rights as the RefBot checks out Apocolypse 2 and begins counting it out 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 What a shock.
The no.1 seeds are out!!!. Now shunt closes in on Apocolypse and pounds the bottom till theres about 40 odd holes in the
bottom. Jinx tries to pit Eternia but Eternia gets underneath Jinx and flips it OOTA. But Jinx's through anyways. CEASE
No.1 seeds are out. The 13 seeds and the newcomer proceed

In the 1st contol pod above the OOTA zone is Jack Orr and Joey McConnel and in the 2nd pod is Mark Elam

The battle starts off fast as Megaroll 2 races in on Flirty Skirty, ripping off a skirt in the process. Meanwhile
Orrion is watching on and comes in and smacks into the top of Flirty Skirty. It looks like the axe is stuck in
there. No it isn't. Orrion reverse too far and is launched by the floor flipper and smacks into the wall. But
landing right side up as Flirty Skirty is pushed into the house robots by Megaroll 2. And The Judge comes in
to powerslam some hits on the top of Flirty Skirty. BANG!!!!! there are some big holes in the top of that armour
now as Orrion comes in and flips Flirty Skirty on it's back. Now Megaroll 2 pushes Orrion onto the floor flipper
and is launched into the wall again. Orrion is on it's back but self rights with the axe as poor old Flirty Skirty is
being counted out 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10. Dead Metal grasps Flirty Skirty and bring his saw down as The Judge
and Orrion bring there hammers down on the bottom of Flirty Skirty, as Megaroll 2 seems to be going round in
circles nearby. Orrion slams it's axe on the top of Megaroll 2 CEASE

Design flaws...that big LEM170 motor will barely fit in a 17cm space (actually, counting the space armour takes up, it appears to be 14.3cm, so...) because it has a 20cm diameter, and even on its side it's 17.2cm long, so if I can hit the area where the motor is I'll probably knock the weapon out instantly. :P Also the rubber is going to be a help to me rather than a hindrance, as my tactics are not to bash it in, but grapple'n'pit the bugger since there IS a pit. Plus, if the drum spins at 4000rpm and has the teeth shown in the picture, I doubt it can actually grab onto armour and toss robots up (sorry Jamie, lol).
EDIT: Wait...it doesn't even have an underside panel either...tactic change! Attach the flipper attachment. Get it onto the forks and flip it, and then start pounding the snot out of its internals. :proud:
If you're going by the CAD picture, then it technically doesn't have a top panel, so save yourself a flip :P
And at 4000rpm it should be able to toss robots up. It won't rip them to shreds, but it can be a good tosser :lol:

Stiff Breeze starts us off by ramming Redemption into the side wall. System Small Shock now gets
under Redemption and pushes him into the wall, pinning him there. System Small Shock now backs
off as Stiff Breeze slams Redemption again. Redemption fights back pushing System Small Shock
under the pulverizer. Stiff Breeze now gets under System Small Shock and pushes him into the
killsaws. Stiff Breeze now slams him into the house robots and Super Megabyte, who is up to
full speed, charges System Small Shock CRAAAAAAAAASH!!!!!!!. the impact sent System Small Shock
flying across the arena, tearing a track off in the process. System Small Shock is now going around in
circles as the RefBot checks him. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10. Stiff Breeze now shoves System Small Shock
down the pit. CEASE
A dominating performance by Stiff Breeze, along with Redemption, go through to the next round
We are back with Orrion vs Eternia
House Robots are Mr Psycho and Major Damage
3....2....1 ACTIVATE
Eternia starts off by charging Orrion and flipping it on it's back. Orrion self rights with the
axe, but Eternia was anticipating it and was right where it self righted and launches it high
into the air. Orrion lands right side up. Orrion slams it's axe onto the top off Eternia, now
drags it towards the house robots. But Eternia gets away before the house robots close
in. Orrion now flips Eternia. Eternia self rights and charges Orrion and flips it against the
wall, The impact was so hard. That Orrion shot up in the air after the impact against the
wall. Eternia rushes in and gets under Orrion and flips him, Orrion hits the side wall and
back down. Orrion slams the axe in desperatly trying to get away. But Eternia flips him
up and out of the arena. Eternia does a victory spin. Major Damage picks up Eternia and
parades him around. And finally drops him out of the arena. CEASE
Orrion is cut down into Oreo's :rofl: . Eternia proceeds onwards
lol, not bad, descriptive and to the point. :)
Two things though...try to make the fights a bit more exciting (without going overboard of course), you know, jazz them up a bit. Also, try and make them a bit longer. If I stretch out that paragraph, it's barely 3 and a half lines long (on the family computer anyway :P).
Just some friendly advice. :)

Jinx vs Megaroll 2
The house robots are Shunt and Sgt Bash
3....2...1.. ACTIVATE
Megaroll 2 comes racing out of the traps to try and cause some damage to jinx and CRASH!!!!. The impact
sends a shower of sparks across the arena because Jinx hit the drum at the exact same time. Now it looks
like Megaroll 2 is having trouble getting back up to speed, but does eventually but Jinx rushes in and hits it
BASH!!!!!!!!. It looks like Megaroll 2 cant get back up to speed, in fact the weapon is dead. Jinx now pushes
it towards the flipper and watches as Megaroll 2 flies into the arena wall with a bash. Megaroll 2 now tires to
get Jinx over to the house robots, but is lacking that power to do so. Jinx now slams the axe into Megaroll 2's
body. The axe is now stuck in the body. Jinx pushes Megaroll 2 towards the house robots. Shunt brings his axe
down on the top on Megaroll 2, look at the holes in the top. Jinx lifts Megaroll 2 up into the air. Now it turns its
attention to the side wall and tries to dump Megaroll out of the arena. But due to the fact the axe is stuck. It
means that Megaroll 2 is hanging outside of the arena for dear life. Jinx now reverses which makes Megaroll 2
hit the wall and finally drop off. Jinx does a victory spin. But Shunt does'nt like it and brings his axe down on Jinx.
Jinx hits back and rips out the safety link in the process!!. Now Jinx slams the axe down on the floor and it gets
under where SGT Bash is and flips him over. Now Jinx does a victory spin without any interruptions, execpt for
one thing.
CEASE
Megaroll 2 is dead once again as Jinx proceeds to the heat final

Eternia vs. Jinx
That's a powerful flipper but I see an advantage here; the HDPE. It's thick but it's not as resistant as some other materials like aluminium alloy or titanium. I can dent it up and even poke a hole into it (though I'm doubtful I'll carve the hole all the way through due to 40mm of HDPE :P). With this, I see two possibilities.
1) Jinx gets the axe stuck in the HDPE, and drags Eternia into the pit.
2) Jinx doesn't get the axe stuck in the HDPE, but it still leaves a huge mark.
Thus, the plan will be to utilize my more powerful drive and get around to Eternia's sides, while making sure not to drive close to the arena wall (lest I get thrown OOTA) or pit, and hammering away on that top. The flipper seems to be made of that stuff too so maybe if I dent it up well enough it won't run flush with the ground anymore and then I can get under from anywhere. Generally, just axe him up until I can grapple him properly and get him down the pit.

That is one of the better properties of hdpe. :D When it comes to axes you want a material that absorbs the impact, not resist it. Your axe will just bounce. To combat axes I prefer hdpe over aluminium or titanium every day.Quote:

A more powerful drive doesn't help either, all I need to do is turn and you need to arc around to get to the side of me, so my flipper will be in line with your robot at all times. Once you are up my flipper arm, no amount of drive will save you.

Eh, I can still use the front forks to get under your flipper. Jinx has 2WD near the back, and her front forks are welded to the scoop; she'll lean her entire body weight on 'em so they'll get under your flipper no problem-o. :D After that it'll be a pit and then a pint, what do you say? ;)

couple of slams into the walls before Jinx finally gets away. Eternia gets under Jinx again and shoves her
onto the floor flipper and OMG!!!! Jinx hit the roof and took out a few lights. Jinx though is completley
unshaken and chases Eternia across the arena. Eternia is now cornered by Jinx. Who slams it's axe down
again and again and again. Jinx grapples withe Eternia and pushes him towards the pit. Eternia is fighting
back. Will he hold on. NO he wont as Jinx lets go CEASE. Jinx through to the semis
I actually went into that expecting to lose...ah well, so much for my expectations, eh? Good fight Lian.

Axe To Fall starts off by chasing down Compression, but Compression clamps onto Axe To Fall.
Frustum comes in and flips Axe To Fall on his back. Axe To Fall self rights, Axe To Fall now hits
the top of Frustum, Frustum backs off and Compression clamps hold of Frustum, Axe To Fall now
comes in and pounds the top of Frustum. The pit now decends. Frustum tries to get away, but
Compression has pinned him in and Axe To Fall keeps hitting it. Compression now pushes Frustum
into Shunt who now brings his axe down on Frustum, Frustum gets away but runs straight into
Axe To Fall who brings down his axe on Frustum. Compression clamps onto Frustum once more.
Frustum manages to get away and flips Axe To Fall. Axe To Fall tries to self right. But Frustum
keeps getting in the way each time. Axe To Fall finally self rights. Frustum flips Axe To Fall over
once again, Frustum charges Axe To Fall at the pit, but Axe To Fall self rights and moves out of
the way. Frustum almost went in but reversed away just in time. But Compression grabs hold of
Frustum and pits him BOOOOM!!!! There goes the smoke from the pit. Compression now for fun.
Grabs hold of Axe To Fall. Axe To Fall pounds the hell outta the top of Compression. But ATF
is finally pitted by Compression. CEASE
Compression and Axe To Fall proceeds to the 2nd round.

Fissure vs OID vs Gabriel V
3 2 1 ACTIVATE
Fissure starts off by darting at Gabriel, flipping him over. Gabriel self rights and goes after
OID. Sparks shower the arena as OID now hits Fissure. Gabriel shoves OID into the wall
and pins it there for as long as possible until Fissure flips him over, Gabriel self rights but
Fissure anticipated the move and flips him over again. Using the flipper to pin Gabriel down.
OID comes in and hits the front of Fissure. Gabriel self rights and rushes Fissure and flips it
over and pushes it towards the wall, it seems like he's pushed it into a position where he cant
self right, He's trying but has stacked himself up against the wall. The RefBot comes in to count
him out 1 2 3 4 5 67 8 9 10. OID comes in and rips the flipper clean off. Gabriel now pushes the

Not sure, but I'll side with Gabriel because he's rather hard to hit and/or push around.

O.I.D. looks good enough to spin to win, I guess.

compression is a nice bot, but i recon if i hit him from the side he wont be able to defend, rack up points and mangle his armor, avoiding the jaws and barbed wedge, keep going till he dies...spin 2 win :D

Gabriel V vs Axe To Fall
3....2...1 ACTIVATE
Gabriel races out of the traps on Axe To Fall, shoving it into the wall. Axe To Fall tries to hit
Gabriel, but due to his shape he can't hit him. Gabriel now gets under Axe To Fall and flips it
over. Axe To Fall tries to self right, but Gabriel is foiling almost every attempt to do so. Now
Axe To Fall finally self rights. But Gabriel gets under him once more and pushes him into the
flipper. Axe To Fall is now trapped on his side. But Axe To Fall starts firing the axe rapidly to
try and get himself back on his wheels, and finally succeeds. Gabriel though has other ideas.
Flipping Axe To Fall over once more. Axe To Fall self rights again and gets under Gabriel and
props him up against the wall. But Axe To Fall doesn't seem to be bringing the axe in. I think
the c02 has gone. Gabriel flips itself off the wall and self rights. But lands on right on the front
of Axe To Fall. But the axe still aint coming down. Gabriel flips him over. It definatly looks like
the c02 has gone 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10. CEASE

Compression vs OID
3 2 1 ACTIVATE
Compression comes racing out of the traps to clamp OID. But OID moves quickly to the side and tries to hit a wheel.
But just missed. Compression now gets round the back of OID and clamps him. Compression now takes OID to the
pulverizer in the corner. BANG BANG BANG!!!!. The pulverizer pounds on the top OID for 15 seconds. Compression now
backs off, letting OID have some breathing space, OID now gets round the back of Compression and hits the rear end so
hard it rips off the back panel. Compression is now being extra careful. OID tries to continually get round the rear end of
Compression. But Compression keeps his front facing OID. So OID charges Compression at full speed, ripping the hinged
wedge off. Compression now dodges off to the side and clamps onto OID and pushes it towards the flipper and it flips
OID into the air. Taking Compression with it, as it forgot to let go. They both land with a crash, but OID is still clamped
from behind by Compression. Compression shoves OID into the wall so hard the disc stops working. Compression lets go.
But is seems Compression can only go in circles and OID is moving very slowly. But still has enough power to push its
nearly lifeless opponent towards the pit. OID has stopped moving completly and so has Compression the Refbot comes in
to check them bot. Hes shakin his head, clueless about who to count out. He looks at Compression. No life whatsoever,
now looking at OID. There is movement. But at about 0.25mph. The Refbot counts out Compression 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10.
CEASE.
We go back to the pits to see that all of OID batteries and motors are dead and gone. They still have the weapon.
Roboteers Joey,Kody,Martijn others and even his opponent Lewis pile in to help repair OID. Within 15 minutes they have
repaired OID.
So out heat final is OID vs Gabriel V
O.I.D. vs. Gabriel V
I'll remove the spikes for this fight as they'll probably just get in the way. My tactics will be to get under it at somewhere that isn't nasty and discy, and flip it over, down the pit, and/or out of the arena in some fashion.
