Would be funny if a full WB of feathers attacked MD
I'd be up for that, would be funny :)
After a lot of work Cabrakan 2 did roll against Meggamouse and got its 3 points. To the following people I thank you for helping me get it running:
Joey McConnell, Dave Lawrie, Rob Grimm, Alex Marler, Tom Armitage and Gainzy, Andy Steels and John Bell, and thanks to Adrian Oates with helping me fix Liam Bryant's transmitter.
Should have a better robot and non-flat tyre for next time
Got my photos uploaded from the weekend if you want to view them>

That's a great fight watching it back. Very close, I wouldn't like to call it. Some superb driving from Craig though!
deffo saint won every hit is a point
every time i bang him to him i should get a point then..... i was attacking alot more but o well i know what to do next time, just flip once and run for 3 mins and make the fight boring
Had a great time at the weekend at this event. Nice to get a Roaming Robots competition under my belt. Everyone seemed to be having a good time, it was well organsied and run so many thanks to Jonno and his crew for hosting it for us.
Highlights of the weekend include seeing Anger working, first of all in the pits and then in the arena for its competition fight. Many congrats Dave, for the amount of time you put into it and all the setbacks you had I hope it was a rewarding experience having it do so well :)
I would also like to thank all the featherweight flippers that flipped Drumroll in its whiteboard fight for proving that those roll-bars (or the Taj Mahal as Dave Moulds likes to call it :P) I used to have on it were a pile of ****. Six or seven flips I think, and it landed on its wheels every time
Low point was sticking Drumroll on fast charge after the whiteboard, expecting the chargers to cut off to trickle in about 15-20 minutes, subsequently forgetting about it and then being told that one of the packs blew up and smoked. Many thanks to Grant and Dave for getting it outside quickly and pulling the bad pack out while I was filming a fight, completely oblivious to what was happening! Oh well...
All in all a great weekend away. Got a bit of an urge to make a heavyweight watching some of the fights, but thankfully logic and practicality has kicked back in again and I remembered that I'm happy with the featherweights :)
Pics should be up today, possibly videos too although they may have to wait till tomorrow.
build a heavy Jamie!!!!
johnno dont suppose you've found my hammer have you burried somewhere in your things?
Go on Jamie, build a HW!!! :) Storm Force is the only Scottish HW still active today
Did anybody get a video of the UFO fight with Beast, MMM and Maelstrom?
Jamie build a heavy called knowing me knowing you so that when u do a fight with And his Army the board will read
knowing me know you AHA
Good lord Danby, the bad jokes my dad and I were coming out with at the weekend have clearly worn off on you
I could build a heavy but in order to store it (bearing in mind what my workshop is) I would have to remove my bed and, well, no chance in hell of that happening. I love my lie-ins too much :)
Seriously though, the largest I think I would ever build for would be middleweights. Probably couldn't practically manage much above that. Nor could my wallet practically manage with the costs!
Picking up a Scorpion XL at the weekend has given me a bit of motivation to press on with Drumroll II so that's what I'll be focusing on now :)
Also, piccies are up:

the trouble with MW's Jamie Dynamite is that there aren't many about fighting them would prove lonely or airborne
heavies don't have to cost a fortune if you seriously wanna get ur teeth into something bigger after Drumroll 2 then message me I can help you out
Terry's on too Alan:

Anyone got a pic of Anger in the pits after its fight? With all the damage?
Sorry Tony, I seemed to call you Terry in my last post

Just for IA
hey all
about an hour ago i went to use the 'giant spanner' which i hadn't used since barnsley that i keep in my tool box to find it wasnt there- even thou i thought i packed it away- but turns out mabye not
so if anyones found a grey/rustic 'giant spanner' that isnt theirs its probabily mine- few people kept borrowing the spanner and the hammer from me so its probabily just got misplaced
the 'giant hammer' that i left there i hear its been found by johnno so at least thats something out of the 2
gonna have to start a 'tools i've left at barnsley' thread at this rate lol
Can I jump on the lost Items band wagon. Someone borrowed by Tx charger at Barnsley just came to charge it for whitwick and couldn't find it, then I remembered. But still can't remember who it was so if you are going whitwick cann you bring it back please.
Hi Ed,
I think it was used to charge the scales.....
I think we gave it to Dave Weston to take to Whitwick.
All a bit Hazy... check with dave !/
John
Dave phoned me, sorted. Thanks John.
