I think Id like to propose a team up with Paul here. Id also like to say I believe Heliosa would be somewhat overweight at this point :proud:
Basically the spikes should help with getting in under Heliosas skirts, and if I get in behind the front and in around the sides of the T I effectively have it trapped. From there, lift, crush, and feed to either the pit or Paul. :P

Oh...bollocks. :P I get the feeling once S.D.F. splits tactics will become irrelevant with five robots running around, so...go for anyone, try and flip Supreme and ram WDIDLNATB?, switching roles every so often, and hope to get one of them down or out. This should be fun. :)

The new Envy (according to Shane) is built like a tank, the all around Hardox should be able to withstand the disc on Final Cut. Therefore, I shall go for it and flip it a lot, hopefully getting Chez in on the act, until it ends out of the arena or down the pit.

The jumping should allow me to avoid the twin weapons...in theory...hopefully...maybe. In any case, I shall go for Axeon purely because I stand to take less damage from it, and hope Richard wants to join in. Make like a mudskipper and try to disc and/or pit someone.

Axe To Fall...mmm, polycarb. Start in reverse to allow time to get the disc spun up, and then turn and attack both, aiming primarily for Axe To Fall though, and flip/rip/tear/otherwise damage the other two machines. POWER! RAAH!
Knyfe (18) vs. Stiltskin vs. Hypertension MK3.5
Uh...Knyfe has an anti-flipper setup, so I think both of us flippers teaming up would make sense. Basically flip Knyfe out at the earliest possible opportunity, and then play with Hypertension a bit :)

I doubt Ill get a good grip on the champ with those long hammers, so Ill target Assagai instead. Im not too worried about the weaponry, but as its a rammer, Ill err on the side of caution. Aim for the sides, snag the wheels and try to gobble it up.
If worst comes to worst, try reversing into PsycloniZer to stop the spinner, charge underneath and either snag the wheels or the bars supporting the hammers. Lift, run, Pit.
2) Haldux 2.0 VS Macbeth VS Razer (17)
Ill pick Haldux to be crunched and pitted.

Tactics for Heat A for Apple
Haldux 2.0 VS MacBeth VS Razer
I am spoilt for choice here, as I feel that out of the three machines I am the stronger. I could either go for the weak(ish) armouring of Haldux or attack the srimech arms of Razer, allowing Haldux to come in on the attack.
I have decided to go for.... option B! :proud:
Go into the arena upside down, allowing the spinning bar to be on top. Focus my attacks on Razer, keepign the front facing him at all times. If Razer gets underneath me, drive further onto the wedge, allowing the spinning bar to make contact with the sides of the crusher and therefore damaging the srimech arms. Quickly drive off before Razer has a chance to being that slow(ish)crushing arm into play. If Haldux does attempt to attack me, a swift thwack to the 20mm HDPE armouring should make it think twice. :). Team up, Ben?
This looks like it is going to be an amazing tournament, Liam. I can see at least 20 machines who could potentially win the whole thing, and not necessarily the obvious ones! :)

Like Venus Fly Trap, I am also going to be targeting Assegai. PsycloniZer has given armour stronger than 7mm Titanium a battering before. So as usual, spin up and deliver as many attacks as possible. The hammers should not only deliver shock damage here, but also physical damage to the armour.

Not how Id have chosen to give Assegai its first outing, but nonetheless, I suppose if we can get through this its a good start.
If approached by Venus Fly Trap just keep the front or rear facing at all times and try and get a good enough run to smack into him and cause some damage.
If Psyclonizer approaches then the plan will be to charge at him but put on the brakes just before impact in order to bring the weapon forward. Hopefully meeting a big solid bar will stop the speed and allow us to push him around. Personally I think with the aid of Venus Fly Trap we could actually get rid of the champ but Steve doesnt seem game for a team up :P

JP: Hello and welcome to the very first episode of Robot SMASH!! III: Lock3d and Load3d!
Henry: Tonight sees the return of number #1 seed PsycloniZer as it does battle with 7 other machines, including Razer, currently ranked#17.
JP: We€™ll kick off the mayhem with two three-way melees.
Henry: One robot will be eliminated from each.
JP: And all new this series the competitors now not only have to deal with each other, but also the house robots.
Henry: That€™s right, plus the whole new arena is ready for action - it€™s the Robotagon!
JP: This new battleground features ass-kicking hazards such as the CPZ, the pit, the flame pit and the spike strip.
Henry: There€™s only one way to find out who will defeat all-comers and gain that elusive spot in the series semi-finals...
JP: Let the annihilation begin!

Fearne: Welcome back Roboteers, Robot SMASH!! is back and this time we€™re lock3d and load3d!
Holly: Tonight 6 machines will enter the Robotagon, but only one will earn a place in the series semi-finals.
Fearne: Here we have Haldux 2.0, from Team Manglo-Saxons! This M2 with a flat top shaped robot has a full pressure front hinged flipper powerful enough to throw robots over the fence and the powerful drive motors will give it enough power to shove most competitors around. However, it€™s a tried and tested design and the HDPE armour is comparatively weak.
Holly: This is Venus flytrap. This is a second original machine for this heat, a green wedge with mute-style barbs on top and a hinged lifting plate that runs along the ground. The plan is to get opponents trapped on the lifter, then turn them over onto the wedge and keep them trapped to take them wherever it wants. However, if it can€™t get underneath then there€™s nothing it can do and there is little damaging potential here.
Fearne: Here is Assegai. This odd invertible machine has a hole all the way through the middle which houses the main weapon, an 80cm long pole supported by cables that allow it to swing back and forth to produce large amounts of kinetic energy and via the forces of gravity act as a powerful battering ram and immobilise opponents via shock damage. However, it could very easily be stacked against the arena wall and can€™t cause much cosmetic damage, which could cost it a match should it go to a judge€™s decision.
Holly: This Topbot-style machine has an under-cutting spinning disc powered by a lynch motor to give it plenty of attack power, and the position of the disc means it will be striking low, but when flipped it is a lot less effective and the wheels are exposed to axes and crushers. In this battle it will be entering the arena upside down so as to get a better shot at the high robots with the spinner. It goes by the name of Macbeth.
Fearne: Yes here it is, the best-looking realie around, ranked #17 this series it€™s Razer! This ex-Robot Wars UK and World Champion is the original hydraulic crusher, the first ever machine to create that distinctive crushing beak. It has a low ground clearance and powerful weaponry plus manouevrable skid steer controls, but the self-righting is slow and it has been vulnerable to spinners in the past.
Holly: And even better, it€™s back, better than even it€™s the number #1 seed PsycloniZer! This is the current reigning champion, an invertible cylinder with an outer spinning ring powered by a LEMCO-200 lynch motor and with three heavy hammers attached. It shock-killed all-comers last series, smashing the opposition into the abyss to reach the grand final and grab the trophy. However it€™s unchanged from last year and some think the hammers are too long for its own good.
Fearne: So we have the 6 contenders.
Holly: Let€™s take a look at the Battleboard to see how they match up in round 1!

RS!!2 ~ Teamed up with 14th seed Gabriel II to eliminate Baldur Gamma in round 1, then destroyed Bio-hazard in the heat semi-final. It met Gabriel II for a second time in the heat final, and the thin armour of the pyramid shaped machine was far too weak for the whirling hammers of PsycloniZer. In the series semi-finals PsycloniZer smashed 12th seed Flick of the Wrist before meeting up with the oddly shaped Black Panther in round 5, who ended up in the pit. Onto the Grand Final went PsycloniZer to meet Nidhogg, the second seed. But the previous runner-up was no match for the plucky newcomer, who tore it to pieces to gain entry to the final battle against number #1 seed Wedge Devolution, who was beaten by a 19 point margin on a judge€™s decision.

And we€™re all very happy to be back in the Robotagon as Robot SMASH!! Series III: Lock3d and Load3d finally gets underway for good, with our first three machines making their way out of the starting squares and beginning to go on the attack almost immediately, with the spinning ring of the reigning champion quickly becoming a blur as the lynch motor rapidly reaches top speed and the hammers are nought but a blur.
Venus flytrap on the other hand isn€™t a spinner and needs no time at all to prepare that deadly weapon, chasing after Assegai who left the starting square shortly before it, catching up on the unsuspecting box-shaped machine and all of a sudden Assegai is already stuck on the lifting plate of the green machine! The Mute-style barbs have trapped it as they hook onto the wheel ruts of Assegai and the plate tips over, trapping Assegai on the wedge with the lifting plate on top holding it in place!
Meanwhile PsycloniZer has reached full speed and is waiting for the right moment to attack, and it seems the moment is near as while Venus flytrap holds Assegai PsycloniZer has the chance to kill two birds with one stone, or let€™s just say two robots with three meaty hammers! Andy guns the two wheel drive and PsycloniZer slams into the deadly embrace with a massive CRASH!
The pair career across the arena, Venus Flytrap getting one of the hinges of its lifting plate removed and in doing so Assegai is freed as the two finally spin into the CPZ, where Sumo Shock rams into them and the lynch motors powering his tracks boost to full power as the box wedge rammer slams them across the arena and pins them against the spike strip behind the flame pit before reversing away and leaving them to roast, but Assegai is quickly up and away, as is Venus Flytrap, only slower because the hinged lifter is now dragging on the floor of the arena.
PsycloniZer is quickly at full speed again, as the hit it directed upon the other two combatants only slowed it down a little and while they were busy with Sumo Shock Andy was powering up again for another attack. For the moment however there is no need, as Assegai goes full out on a ramming attack at Venus Flytrap, slamming into the side of the wedge shaped robot with the battering ram weapon working to its full capacity to slam the hardox armour and knock Venus Flytrap across the arena floor and into the pit release button! The siren sounds and the chasm descends, but Assegai continues its attack, reversing away before driving in again and whacking the green machine with the battering ram a second time, and again pushing it against the spike strip!
PsycloniZer sense that the time is right though and now the two mags in the drive are pushed to their limit to try and produce their maximum 9HP as Venus flytrap struggles to move away from the spike strip, as we wonder how much damage has been done and how much more punishment Steven€™s new machine can take. PsycloniZer has no need for mercy though and slams into Venus flytrap for the final time, a robot that started this round strongly, but now has its side panel knocked flying away as bolts come flying out of Venus Flytrap from the sheer force of the seeded machine€™s onslaught, leaving internal workings of Venus Flytrap exposed and revealing the reason for its inability to move properly - the connection from the left drive motor to the left side of the drive has been knocked clean out by the force of Assegai€™s ramming attack earlier on, leaving it to travel in little half-circles before it hits the spike strip, which it has been pinned against now for more than thirty seconds and so the refbot begins the count.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!
The crowd cheers as Sumo Shock moves in to finish off the defeated robot, driving its wedge underneath the rear ground clearance and turning to push it in a different direction before going on an all out slam across the arena, ramming it so hard that upon impact with the spike strip on the other side of the arena Venus flytrap€™s hinged lifting plate comes off completely!

Fearne: Sadly it seemed that match didn€™t go exactly to plan.
Steven: Not for me, but certainly for the other teams!
Fearne: It is quite disappointing that we didn€™t see much of the weaponry you have here, it€™s very original.
Steven: Thanks. There€™s nothing else quite like it.
Fearne: You had Assegai at the start, but then the champion slammed into you and it was all downhill from there, wasn€™t it?
Steven: Yes, the hit from PsycloniZer knocked us into the CPZ, but it was Assegai that did most of the damage.
Fearne: That kinetic energy battering ram seems to be a very effective weapon, wouldn€™t you agree?
Steven: Yes, certainly after what it did to me in that fight!
Fearne: Would I right in thinking that the drive motor got disconnected from the wheels, so there was no power?
Steven: Yes, and I was jammed up against the spike strip so I could hardly move at all, not even in proper circles.
Fearne: Thanks for competing, we€™ll be happy to have you back next series too!

RS!!1 ~ Crushed its way through Terrorhurtz€™s 12mm lexan armour in the eliminator, then mashed Ming Dynasty€™s electronics in round 2 to reach the heat final, where it was thrown out of the competition by eventual champion Wedge Devolution.
RS!!2 ~ (seeded #8) Let Weapon Synergy deal with Holepunch in round 1 for an easy way through, then crushed through Blue Sparks€™ tracks in round 2. In the heat final things looked good against newcomers Black Panther, but the axe/flipper combo proved too strong and Razer was knocked out of the competition.

Macbeth is running upside down here as was explained earlier, and is also the first robot off the mark as this fight gets underway, with Daniel gunning his drive motors to get across the arena and go on the attack of Razer. Haldux 2.0 follows, full pressure flipper at the ready, but Macbeth is straight on the attack of the seeded machine, attempting to swerve and attack the side, but Razer turns on the spot and meets Macbeth head on, sliding the wedge underneath and activating the crusher, but it€™s too slow as Daniel drives on up the wedge and just manages to hit the crusher with the spinning disc! However he has now beached himself on the wedge and the disc doesn€™t seem to have done much damage, so Razer continues on the attack and pins down the disc of Macbeth, squeezing it like a reptile catching its prey before reversing across the arena to hit the pit release button!
But it isn€™t all over for Macbeth just yet as Haldux 2.0 comes on the rescue, pushing in underneath the side of the seeded machine and firing the full pressure front hinged flipper, throwing the deadly embrace over in a three-hundred and sixty degree barrel roll! Razer still holds on though, so Haldux 2.0 drives in underneath again and uses the LEM-170s in the drive to push Razer and Macbeth over to the spike strip before firing the flipper to slam them against the barrier!
Razer loses its grip as it self-rights, but Macbeth is now inverted (or should we say the right way up?) and is spinning up the disc again for another onslaught, slamming into the base of Razer and with a shower of sparks and spinning Razer around, with one of the wheel guards torn clean off!
Haldux 2.0 goes on the attack now, driving at the side of Razer, but the seeded robot turns and manages to breach the front of the lynch powered robot, bringing the crusher into play again and sinking it through the HDPE armour of Haldux 2.0! Macbeth has spun up the spinning disc and attacks again though, slamming into the front left unprotected wheel of Razer and mangles it, ripping one half off and leaving Razer with a lot less manouevrability, but still the seeded robot manages to limp across the Robotagon with Haldux in its grasp towards the pit! But again Macbeth comes to the rescue of it Ben€™s machine and slams into the pair of entangled machines full force with the spinning disc, this time ripping off Razer€™s other wheel on the unprotected side and sending them both spinning into the CPZ!
Razer is forced to release Haldux 2.0 by the judges, but they are in the CPZ and Psychopath immediately goes on the attack of Ben€™s plastic machine, swinging the hammer down on top and crippling the armour as Haldux 2.0 practically caves in on itself! And it never could escape, because Razer€™s earlier attack had pierced a drive battery, leaving it with just one lynch motor and not two!
Razer is also stuck in the CPZ though with mostly one side of the drive working and Psychopath is obliged to attack the seeded robot too, swinging the hammer down onto the crusher and buckling it, building on the damage already done by Macbeth earlier on!
The refbot moves in now to count out the defeated robots.

Macbeth powers down the disc and looks on as Psychopath delivers Razer and Haldux 2.0 to the pit in one easy shove with then 10 magmotors powering it before returning to the CPZ to join Daniel€™s machine in a triumphant victory spin.

Well with both Razer and Haldux 2.0 immobilised at the end of the round the judges will have to replay the footage to see who was immobile first.
And now having watched the replays we see that Razer crushes through Haldux€™s lynch motor BEFORE Macbeth takes out the left side of the drive, meaning that the seed survives to fight another day along with Macbeth!

Ben: Hmm... Yes I guess it was unlucky.
Holly: Razer seemed to have it in for you... Why was that?
Ben: Well we have 2cm HDPE armour here on Haldux 2.0, it€™s just not thick enough if you€™re using this plastic as your armour.
Holly: The flipper worked well though.
Ben: Yes, we did get 2 good attacks in while Razer was gripping Macbeth, but after he let go he was after us.
Holly: What exactly happened?
Ben: Razer went through one of the motors when he crushed us, and then we were in the CPZ so Psychopath just hammered us, and without the other motor I couldn€™t drive away.
Holly: But it was Razer€™s attack that actually signals that you were immobilised?
Ben: Yes, because in the rules it states if you€™re going around in circles and weren€™t really mobile, so it counts as being immobilised.

Ok, for this fight I am gonna go into the arena normal side up, using MacBeth for its original purpose as an undercutter. I am going to do something different tho... I am going to attack PsycloniZer in reverse, using the 1cm thick scoops on the back to slow the spinner of PsycloniZer down before quickly turning to bring my own spinning disc into play. If the scoops can withstand the attack, use my torque to slam PsycloniZer into the nearest wall/hazard/house robot, allowing me mor time to get my disc into play before it can get its own spinner back up to speed.

JP: In the second fight the seeded Razer was not the dominant robot.
Henry: Newcomer Macbeth proved more dangerous than the 17th seed.
JP: And immobilised it, but not until just after Haldux 2.0 was out.
Henry: Now 4 machines are left.
JP: And we must halve the number before the heat final!

Both spinners immediately begin powering up their weapons as they head across the arena towards each other, PsycloniZer with the more powerful weapon as the hammers become a blur whirling around it. Macbeth has its own spinner up to speed, but has turned around and now uses the rear scoops to ram the champion! The two meet with a CRASH, and Daniel is dismayed to see one of his scooped blades knocked off the robot and Macbeth is sent spinning away, while PsycloniZer is knocked against the spike strip!
Macbeth comes running back on the attack though with the spinner back at speed and it turns around again to try and use the remaining scoop to ram PsycloniZer, and this time it works! Daniel wedges PsycloniZer against the wall and puts his drive in full reverse, pinning the seeded machine against the arena wall for the full thirty seconds of pinning time before Macbeth is forced to drive away and PsycloniZer falls back to earth, but it doesn€™t have time to spin up the weapon again as Macbeth swings its own disc into action and in a shower of sparks PsycloniZer is knocked into the CPZ!
Furnace pushes Andy into the spike strip and belches fire angrily, but PsycloniZer guns the mags in the drive and escapes before managing to get that spinning ring up to speed again and driving on the attack of Macbeth, who has its own disc spinning, but Daniel turns to defend with the remaining scoop and has it knocked flying off!
Macbeth is knocked across the arena and onto the flame pit with that attack, the flames dancing on the disc and licking the paintwork, but not really doing much damage. PsycloniZer meanwhile has spun back up and now comes racing across the arena just as Macbeth gets off the flame pit, and both spinners collide! CRASH!
PsycloniZer it seemed had the better spinner and all of a sudden Macbeth€™s disc is rolling on its side across the arena, knocked flying from the robot itself before it meets its end, landing on the closed pit.
This leaves Macbeth completely weaponless, and though Daniel is still driving PsycloniZer is clearly in control now, and Andy spins up the dangerous weaponry again before slamming in and attacking the helpless Macbeth, tearing off a side panel and spinning Macbeth into the pit release button! The chasm descends and Macbeth€™s disc disappears with it, but Macbeth itself is having trouble moving now, and we can see that the left hand motor was knocked loose by the last attack! This is clearly visible from the now-unprotected side of Macbeth and PsycloniZer happily goes in to finish the job, thwacking Macbeth with the hammers and knocking it onto the blue square!
Refbot sense that Macbeth€™s battle is over and heads into count Daniel€™s Shakespearean machine down and out!

Furnace comes in to add insult to injury and rams the exposed workings of Macbeth, breathing fire once it€™s there and incinerating the electronics of Macbeth! PsycloniZer powers down and looks on, happy with its work here now as Furnace pushes Macbeth towards the pit and pushes it down to join its weapon as the match ends.

*Fearne walks up to Daniel in the pits*
Fearne: Ouch.
Daniel: That€™s all there is to say really.
Fearne: It was ouch at the end, but you didn€™t get beaten up from the start.
Daniel: Yeah, there was one good attack where I pinned him against the wall.
Fearne: Didn€™t you get your disc in there too?
Daniel: Yes, just after that attack I managed to use my own disc to knock him into the CPZ, but it€™s safe to say Furnace did more damage to me later on than he did to PsycloniZer then!
Fearne: That is a safe bet because he burnt Macbeth alive. There was an inferno in that machine today!
Daniel: Sadly that€™s too true.

The two robots move off from their starting squares the moment SMASH is called and they head across the arena towards each other. Razer, twice a Robot SMASH!! heat finalist turns to try and dodge the dangerous kinetic energy battering ram of Assegai, but in doing so leaves its side exposed to attack and Will at the controls of Assegai powers forward, ramming into the side of Razer and punting it sideways into the spike strip! Martijn at the controls of Razer manages to escape before any real damage is done though and goes on the attack of Assegai this time, powering under the side ground clearance of the box shaped machine and brings the crusher into play, not perforating the thick titanium armour, but holding Assegai in place as it reverses away across the arena and hits the pit release button, in doing so knocking Assegai out of its grip. And with that Will turns around and again rams Razer across the arena, this time mounting the side and slamming the srimech arm, knocking it off! And still this powerful onslaught continues, Will pushing Razer into the CPZ with one last final whack from the battering ram weapon, which has put plenty of dents in Razer€™s side. But still worse damage is to come for the seeded robot as King now goes on the attack in the danger of the CPZ, getting one of his claws onto the crusher of Razer and hoisting the ex-Robot Wars Champion into the air before parading across the arena and depositing Razer onto the flame pit, just like Razer itself did many times to many different competitors back in its heyday.
Assegai does not hesitate for another attack though and runs in again, slamming Razer back into the spike strip when it tries to escape the flame pit, and Will just doesn€™t allow Razer the chance to escape, again ramming the 2-time Robot Wars World Champion and repeatedly slamming it now as it rams it across the arena, no longer pushing from the side, but from the rear and Razer really seems to be the worse for wear now even though the damage only appears to be a few dents from the outside.
And yet battles can be won with no superficial damage at all as Assegai reaches the pit and with one final swing of the battering ram Razer tumbles head first into the chasm, disappearing in a puff of smoke.

Martijn: Not quite. I knew Assegai would be a tough opponent, but I didn€™t think that much damage would be caused by the battering ram weapon.

Hmm...Assegais more of a rammer than MacBeth was...if it were a normal ring spinner vs. rammer match Id go for Assegai, but normal ring spinners tend not to have huge hammers welded onto the ring, so itll probably be a win for the champ.

PsycloniZer vs. Assegai
As I mentioned in my Round 1 tactics, Assegai doesn€™t have the best armour in the world. I think even Hypno Disc has been through 7mm Titanium before. So hopefully I can cause quite a lot of damage here. With the shock killing and panel removing tricks there€™s every chance of knocking Assegai out fairly quickly. The weapon doesn€™t bother me much. If I am spinning I should realistically just smash it away. If I€™m not spinning, it€™s just going to hit the bars and cause little harm. In fact, depending on how secure those cables are, I could probably damage a few and stop the weapon working. Then all it can really do is push, but PsycloniZer€™s shape makes it difficult to push and those S28-150€™s might not be able to take the strain. I€™m hoping this match is just going to be a case of how soon can I get rid of Assegai.

Tactics same for in the first battle. Basically try to ram but stop just before allow the ram to swing and stop the hammers then push around. will take a lot of control but as were up against a FBS, it should be us that have the upper hand on that front anyway. Just try to keep front or rear facign at all times.

Both robots move off immediately, and as PsycloniZer spins up the ring Assegai immediately shows aggression, powering across the arena towards the top speed and slamming into it with the battering ram, knocking PsycloniZer backwards but getting knocked away by the hammers, far away enough to allow PsycloniZer to get spinning properly. Assegai reverses in on the attack again, but Andy dodges to give PsycloniZer more time before driving in again and slamming into the titanium armouring of Assegai, slapping off the side panel and sending Assegai spinning into the CPZ!
This doesn€™t look at all good for the plucky newcomer as Matilda backs in with her bum... CRASH! Assegai is tossed across the arena, rolling over and over with a gash down the side that is still protected. Still though it lands on its wheels and moves off again with surprising enthusiasm, driving at PsycloniZer yet again and this time catching one of the hammers head on, stopping the ring in its tracks and ramming the champion up against the pit release button!
Andy looks worried and guns his mags in the drive to get away and spin up again, but Assegai follows and this time pushes PsycloniZer into the spikes strip and just like in the last round the champion finds itself pinned against the arena wall for thirty seconds before Assegai is commanded to let go and PsycloniZer falls back to its wheels and makes a quick getaway, managing to spin up the ring again before Assegai can launch another attack, and when it does PsycloniZer drives head on to meet and when the hammers meet the pole of Assegai it all goes wrong for the rammer as the force of the hammer meeting the rammer causes the cables to snap as the pole is almost pulled clean out of the robot!
The weapon may still be technically in the robot, but it hangs limply inside the hole from front to end, of no use whatsoever as the cables hang loosely. Still though Will remains in good spirits and attempts to attack again, pushing against the momentarily static PsycloniZer and pushes it across the arena and onto the flame pit, not stopping there but to go on and for the second time push PsycloniZer up against the arena wall, gunning the drive to hold the cylindrical robot there for another thirty seconds.
But rules are rules and Assegai is commanded by the judges to reverse and release PsycloniZer, who drives away and spins up again before driving straight at Assegai, who attempts to reverse away, but isn€™t quite fast enough this time to turn as Will finds himself backed up against the spike strip, cornered by the power of PsycloniZer, which Assegai€™s 7mm titanium armour then bears the brunt of as the top seed surges forward and slams into the box-shaped rammer, knocking out the removable link as it whacks Assegai with the rotary hammers, at long last eliminating the ramming machine who has stood up to the champion where other robots died and failed.

Assegai is down and out and now Matilda moves in, getting the tusks in underneath the front of the titanium rammer, lifting it up and dragging it across the arena to the pit, dumping it on the edge before turning and owning it with the vertical flywheel, ripping another gash in the armour and throwing it over the pit! Matilda travels around the chasm and gives Assegai another nudge with her dangerous buttocks, ripping out the electronics from the exposed side and rolling it into the pit as it does so, then doing a triumphant victory spin with the tusks raised as Assegai disappears from sight in a puff of smoke.

Two nasty drums here. Leprosy might be the easiest target in terms of grappling, but Delirium Tremors high power and slow speeds is both dangerous and easy to escape. Charge whoever looks the most threatening, impale them on the barbs and chew them up.
Spin up, charge, smash... Id love to be able to give more in depth tactics but to be honest theres not much more we can do. Id say Im probably more inclined to go after Leprosy than Clawdius though as hell be easier to break, and tbh, Id sooner face Clawdius in a 1-on-1 situation than in a 3-way battle.
