I have no idea. Someone just mentioned DRG already had some plans or whatever.
2 robot events on the same weekend is impossible, jut not enough robots :sad:

No Vapor Event, no uncertainties, this WILL go on! Will also run under the DRG flag now, so well have full support of Marien and Kees and the crew.
Location still isnt sure yet, well go on a trip round the possible locations somewhere next week.
GO WJ GO Find a good one we will all be there for sure been a while since we been to the netherlands ...... Will make a short break of it. Be nice to support you guys for a change and return the favor as you all support and come to uk so often when veniews permit .... Also be nice to chill and have a dutch social ....

We still have 2 parties that want to have us at their event. But we can only do 1 at the time :-)

Now we can. The contract is signed. The date is fixed; 25-26 april (not ideal maybe, but well do it anyway). Venue is the paddock of the Zandvoort racing circuit, near the sea, close to Amsterdam. We are part of a big show including dragsters, tractorpulling, car drifting (WJ!), jet cars, stunt bikes and more.

Heavies, feathers, raptors - from pusher to spinner - in our 6x9 meter arena. No pit, but you are free to bring hazzards (mail me for dims). 2 days of competition. And a party on friday night.
Sadly I will be doing a short jog around the streets of London on the Sunday (26th). So I wont be able attend.
What will the floor of the arena be made off? Just out of idle curiosity...

Floor will be wood; underlayment. It is tougher then MDF and laid interlocking.
John if you want to test out your robot I can arrange a day for you with a dodgem track. Just let me know, it will make for the perfect testing ground.

No, its no big championship. I first want to run a less stressing HW event. Last one was a couple of years back!
The timing isnt right either; stuck between a Roaming Robots and a Robot Rumble event.

Im coming now, I used to live near your race track in Zandvort, sunbathed on the beach, and always heard to noise of the cars from my living room !!

This week I€™m going to call someone about ferry discounts. Next to the circuit there are a campsite and a holiday park.

Exact times I don€™t know yet. I expect that we can test in the arena from Friday afternoon. At night there is a party for competitors planned. Saturday we may be there from 10:00 to 22:00, Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00. As soon as I know for sure, I€™ll let you know.
ok, well were waiting for dates for an event in Kuwait at the moment, but I dont think it will clash.
I have signed up, and look forward to finding out more info as and when you know.

lol ive turned down a go on the back off Ron Haslam.
my 1st sponsor (Beauty) now is the director of BKS and i can go to rons school,
But yes If i can get time off work ill let you know (problem is im off sick till 7th April so i carnt let you know its shift work you see)
