Its all gone wrong again, there was a minute or so of people going around deactivating robots...Beast in the pit I noticed :proud: but now nothing.
Some sort of connection problem?
I think stu will update tomorrow... says ive got to invest some money ( again ) if i want it to be reliable.
It depends on the area where the venue is as to what type of connection we get.
Well yeah sadly the connection from a mobile phone is too much for it, Orange have given me a warning now, even though it sas i have unlimited at weekends internet.. but there not happy and was putting a ban on it, but i over-rid the ban 5 times over the day. haha so it was working on and off every 10 mins or 15 mins or so. hehe.
But we think this is something worth making better so will be investing in a possible USB modem, well see, keep you updated..
But again had lots of texts from people saying how cool it is during the show.. even had people in the audience saying their mates from home watching it, and people outside UK watching it also. And web site viewing figures up again by 23%.
Mr Stu
Bump.
I see something...
Yes, its the rare phenomenon of the entire arena having been placed on its side. They save that for important fights. :)
Lol, now i see the arena clearly...
Ok, Hydra and Majour Damage are in there now...
yep im watching it too. it somtimes freezes on a picture for a few mins.
Argh...Envy down the pit almost instantly, after cutout problems... 2009 will be its year though, surely theres nothing else that can go wrong with it now...
Yeah, it freezes for a few minutes every so often on mine as well, but the pictures actually been okay so far. I was getting a lot of images not loading beyond a few bars at the top for some reason though.
Yeah, Mr Stu said it would take a lot of money for a broadband that can make the pictures mave.
mines froze now on 15:21:11
Its working again now...it would probably be a bit impractical to have a streaming video because of the connection and other things, besides I kind of like the webcam when it works :P but what had occurred to me is that if someone saved all the images of each particular fight and then afterwards strung them together, you could have a little time lapse video of every fight at the event, that would be cool :)
Its working nicely.
Alex
mine has froze and has been like it for a while now, and the cameras looking at the arena roof for some reason
I only saw the inside of the arena and that was it
Well it was working perfect at the start... then i get a phone call from Shane saying its working cheers blah blah, then i walk away doing some stuff.. then come back to it not working. Reset it works fine, then phone call saying its not working thn it is working.. then i walk away.. then to only realise everytime somoene phone me, it cut the internet off on my phone. So shane phoning me saying its working, attualy cut the net off. LOL!!
But it was sorted for the 2nd show and was cool.
Twice the cam started pointing at the roof coz in 2 seperate fights, Terrorhurtz knocked the wall with the cam on and it pointed upwards. lol.
A simple net connection on a phone is ok for uploading pictures every few seconds, but when you wanna do a constant stream of video.. then no only do you need a very good internet connection (2mb/s?) our server will not allow radio/video streaming unless you pay double for the server a month.
Glad you all like it, again, Unique Visits to the web site doubled on Saturday!
Still more to come in the future...

pay per view....pay per view!....PAY PER VIEW!!!! :proud:
i heard youtube are trying to start allowing people to stream - hopefully that comes soon as this may help us with costs if it free from youtube
That would be pretty cool. What award you get yesterday John?
Live Arena Web Cam is Back
Well so we hope - the next event/venue (Barnsley) this weekend has wireless internet that we can tap into which should provide a faster and more reliable web cam feed this weekend so we hope.
So no promises, but we hope to have the live web cam feed running this weekend. First show Saturday starts at 6pm and ends at 8pm so thats when the web cam will go live. Sunady 11am till 5pm, and will try and maybe leave it live while we take the arena maybe. So might be interesting.
