LEPROSY INFECTION
Weight; 100 kilos
Body Shape; Tetanus Booster
Speed; 18mph
TC; 0
GC; 6mm
Wheels; 4 inner, top sticking out. Hinged mini-skirts hang from the side, and these protect the wheels from low lying discs.
Armour; 7mm titanium
Power; 3x 12v batteries, powered by S28-400 Magmotors. LEM130 motor for the drum.
Colour; A disgusting shade of lime green.
Weapons; A very large, very dangerous vertical drum, capable of reaching speeds of 4000rpm. The teeth on the drum are curved upwards so they can flip as well as damage and very sharp at the tip. There is a reason for this explained below. By the drum are two hindged wedge type devices, which drive oppodents onto the drum.
Srimech; The robot is invertable. Bars along the side and back prevent stranding. The wheel flaps, both on top and bottom, are set so the robot can still run inverted without getting stranded. Once upside down, the teeth of the drum gouge out robot parts.
Inspiration; Named after the disease which causes the skin to flake and fingers and toes to drop off...namely because the robot does something similar. The basic idea came from an episode of The Simpsons.
Strengths; Drum, control is pretty good
Weaknessess; Wheels may be vulnerable to axes
MEGA MASHER 2
Weight: 100 kilos
Body Shape: Minion with skirts.
Speed: 12mph
TC: 0
GC; 0 at front, 1mm at sides due to skirts, 10mm underneath.
Wheels; 4 inner.
Armour: A nice 3.25mm Hardox
Power: 3x 12v batteries, plus Bosch 750s at 36v.
Colour: Red and yellow.
Weapons; The front is a wedge, and the back has a nasty vertical disc, powered by its own LEM130 motor and spinning at 2000 rpm. It can probably flip as well as damage. A side Minion style bar, pneumatic CO2 powered, comes out from the side.
Srimech: The aforementioned bar rights the robot, even though it can run inverted.
Inspiration; This is probably the only robot I have where I have had no inspiration. It just came as a good name.
Strengths: Power, weaponary
Weaknessess: A little bulky, not as heavy as the body would suggest.
Y4
Weight: 99 kilos
Body Shape: T-Minus
Speed: 16mph
TC: 0
GC: 8mm, but the flipper blade reaches 0.
Wheels: 2 semi outer (that means theyre protected)
Armour: 5mm steel on body, 9mm titanium on wheelguards.
Power: The usual 3x 12v batteries and couple Magmotors (S28-400s) for power.
Colour: Grey
Weapons: An extremely powerful pneumatic CO2 flipper (Try 300 kilos+). Can perform about 30 or so flips before it starts weakening.
Srimech: The flipper acts as srimech. It can also be used as gymnastics. A light flip will knock the robot back over, but pressing hard on the button will send the robot into a 540 degree spin before landing, or a Matador style bound in mid air. All prperly controlled, of course. The robot can also run inverted, so if it gets too close to the arena wall, it should be OK.
Inspiration: A quote from a cartoon. Taz-mania, I believe.
Strengths: Powerful flipper, very entertaining.
Weaknessess: Semi exposed wheels.

My entries for this tournament-with-a-rather-shaky-premise are:
1: STAT
2: Nidhogg
3: Eye of Ran
The statistics can be found on the Team Chevron board on Kodys forum, which you, kind sirs and madams, can find by clicking on his profile.
I wonder if I could get Richard to enter
*thinks*
Would it be OK for me to switch Duncan with Helix please? Stats in same place:

Im very drunk... but if you tell me what Im entering Ill enter...
Yeah, Ill enter, Dave, with Battle Raptor IV, SYNDOS and Tenderizers Revenge 2! (Im planning to update my whole team at some point, but Ill stick with the stats as they are for now.)
BATTLE RAPTOR 4
Weight: 100kg
Shape: Invertable box with wedge at front, rounded sides and rear, painted orange with black stripes like the raptors in Jurassic Park - since theres no room for an aesthetic raptor head, the paint job on the flipper displays a raptor head
Dimensions: 70 x 55 x 30
Speed: 16mph
Ground Clearance: 0 at front due to low wedge, 0 at sides and rear due to skirts
Armour: 4mm Hardox, with holes drilled in it to reduce weight
Wheels: 4, inside robot, poke out the top so the robot can run inverted, uses skid steering
Power: 4 Perm 080s motors on 24V powered by 24V @ 12amp batteries
Weapons: The robot has an pneumatic Atomic-style flipper, with a flipping plate over the wedge at the front (with a plate sticking out of the front and running along the floor for 5cm for getting under skirts) and two bars attached to it that run down either side of the top of the robot to the flipper hinges 3/4 of the way along. At the centre of the top is a titanium electrically powered axe with a Terrorhurtz-style blade. Both weapons work at the front in this version - the flipper is fairly powerful since it is pneumatically powered (about 25 flips per fight), and while the axe isnt as powerful, it should still make a mark, particularly in vulnerable areas like wheels.
Srimech: Flipper and axe can both serve as a srimech (on their own, not together). If weapons fail in resting position, robot can run inverted. Flipper hinges and axe blade fit inside the robot and dont poke out the top, so they dont prop it up.
Tactics: Try to flip opponents, and if I cant, hammer them.
Strengths: Dual weaponry, invertable, manouverable due to skid steering
Weaknesses: Wheels vulnerable to axes, no weapons to attack from rear
SYNDOS (SLICE N DICE ON STEROIDS)
Weight: 96kg
Shape: Invertable box with rounded sides and rear
Dimensions: 60 x 60 x 45
Speed: 12mph
Ground Clearance: 4mm at front, 0 at sides and back due to skirts, skirts are sprung for extra lowness
Armour: 4mm Hardox
Wheels: 2, inside robot, with RC gyro for extra control
Power: 2 Perm 080s motors on 24V powered by 24V @ 12amp batteries
Weapon: 25kg 3000rpm titanium vertical spinning disc at front
Srimech: Invertable
Tactics: Mash with big-a** disc, and try to flip as well.
Strengths: Powerful weapon; low ground clearance
Weaknesses: No weapons on sides and rear; a bit on the slow side
TENDERIZERS REVENGE 2
Weight: 97kg
Shape: Low invertable box with low wedge at the front and inverted wedge at the back - painted blue with its name painted to look like blood on the skirts
Dimensions: 90 x 90 x 20
Speed: 15mph
Ground Clearance: 0 all around due to low wedge and skirts, 2mm behind side skirts, 20cm behind skirt on inverted wedge. Both wedges have skirts attached to them at their edge. The wedge and side skirts are attached to rotatable cylinders inside the robot (or wedge) so they can be moved up and down. When they are down, they are very low and its hard to get underneath, but the robots speed is reduced to 9mph. The side skirts can go up to a point where they work inverted. The skirts on the wedges move within 90 degrees - when their wedge is inverted, they are in a vertical position to repel flippers, and when their wedge is right way up, they are in a horizontal position, riding along the ground to help get under robots. When the robot is moving around normally, all skirts except the front wedge one are pulled down low but not to maximum lowness so it can move quickly - the skirts go to maximum lowness if a flipper comes anywhere near it.
Armour: Main body has 5mm polycarbonate on top of 5mm titanium, skirts are 4mm titanium, wedges are 5mm hardox
Wheels: 4, inside robot
Power: 4 Perm 080s motors on 24V powered by 24V @ 12amp batteries
Weapon: An electrically powered lifting arm, which runs along half of the top of the robot - its tip is pointed to help hold onto robots, and is at the point where the wedge meets the body, and it does not go down the wedge. It can rotate through 360 degrees so it can be used when the robot is inverted.
Srimech: Invertable - arm will act as srimech, but this will hardly happen as the robot works identically both ways up. Moveable skirts prevent it from resting on its sides.
Tactics: Run into opponents, try to get under them, then get them onto its top and onto the arm. The arm turns them over, or catches them so I can carry them around.
Strengths: Decent pushing power; moveable skirts; difficult to attack by flippers
Weaknesses: May struggle to use arm against some opponents

1) Brutalis 2.1
2) Premonition
3) The R.O.C
http://strickenone.proboards99.com/index.cgi?board=teamwwhttp://strickenone.proboards99.com/i...i?board=teamww
I had an idea with Matts entries, for the draw if I put in Matt 1, Matt 2 and Matt 3, and when Matt enters some robots it will be a random draw to see who gets whom.
And to give him more time, I will move his qualification battles towards the end of the pack.
The Killer Toad Final Assault
Qualification Round 1
24 knockouts to round the 48 non-seeds down to 24:
Achilles vs. Inferno
Boxx vs. Eye of Ran
Tenderizers Revenge 2 vs. Back to Rock III
SOR X vs. Brutalis 2.1
Crimson Thunder, vs. MacBeth
Fatality vs. The R.O.C
Ge5orce vs. Killotine: EVO
Cat With Wheels, vs. Mega Masher 2
Robo-Tiger vs. Spin Dash Unleashed
Supreme vs. Liar 2
Seung Mina V vs. Seung Mina V
Mad Dash vs. PsycloniZer
Paralyzation 2 vs. Battle Raptor 4
Y4 vs. Pure Evil: Back to Basics
Nidhogg Evo vs. pick-axe of doom
The 6isc vs. Stat
Black Panther vs. Knyfe
Premonition vs. Robo-Mosquito
Masamune vs. CroOKeD
Leprosy Infection vs. Sithis
Syndos vs. Intriguer
Matt 1 vs. Slammer
Curse of Dread vs. Matt 3
Robo-Goat vs. Matt 2
So Matt has basically the time it will take me to do the 21 other fights, which at my current speed of writing could be this time next year :proud:
TACTICS AND OTHER SHINY THINGS
Eye Of Ran vs. Boxx
Keep the weapon at its usual rpm (about 2/3 of full power, might go to full power if it looks resistant enough), Use the rear wedge to fend off attacks until I can spin up, avoid going near the hazards intentionally and basically try and shock kill it with repeated hitting.
Nidhogg Evo vs. Pick-axe Of Doom
While PAODs weapon is worrying, it has polycarbonate armour. Nidhogg likes polycarbnate armour, as his doctor has been telling him he has been getting too much hardox and must maintain a healthy diet by also eating lots of plastic.
In other words...get to sides or rear, crush, lift, lift, crush, some combination of those two, and pit. Simple really :proud:
STAT (note the use of all caps Dave :P) vs. The 6isc
Ram. A lot. Very fast.
Good luck to Jack and Frank, looking forward to the tourney starting :)
Dave - you put Seung Mina V in twice - I think you missed out Wedge Devolution. Ive corrected it in my predictions :)
Achilles vs. Inferno: Bo****cks! Thats the only word I can use to describe this. Achilles is a robot with a huge track record, and is very good and withstanding its with its new front end. On the other hand, I have 140kj in my spinner, and even though Im 8mph slower than him, by the time he reaches me (4 seconds proberbly), Ill already be spun up. Just dodge to the sides, wait till hes stood still, then pummel his sides to tear away the panels, score damage points, and aggression points and style points, stragety points and control points in case it goes to the judges (basically ever type of point that exists ) I dont have a self-righter, but I MAY be able to pull a Tornado Mer, so that;s only a small threat. My main threat is being pushed, so only attack when hes stood still - I dont wish to get nudged. If I tear a side off, ATTACK THAT SIDE LIKE THERES NO TOMORROW!!
Good luck Alex
Boxx vs. Eye of Ran: Dont know much about Boxx, but I know the power of Eye Of Ran - Eye Of Ran FTW.
Tenderizers Revenge 2 vs. Back to Rock III: Back To Rock III to completely own Richard, unless he can do something great.
SOR X vs. Brutalis 2.1: Brutaliss may actually cause some problems for SOR X - Its Dantomkia shape means that he can just charge into the ring and itll stop spinning, he can get under, and score a great OOTA. Im siding with the underdog for this.
Crimson Thunder, vs. MacBeth: Crimson will make short work of MacBeth.
Fatality vs. The R.O.C: Fatality is hella powerful, but R.O.C looks like a potential contender - but I go for the power - Fatality.
Ge5orce vs. Killotine: EVO: As much as I like Killotine, itll die.
Cat With Wheels, vs. Mega Masher 2: Cat With Wheels to easily win.
Robo-Tiger vs. Spin Dash Unleashed: I dont know much about Robo-Tiger, but I doubt itll win.
Supreme vs. Liar 2: Out of personal preferance, Ill side with Liar.
Seung Mina V vs. Wedge Devolution: OHHHHHHHHHH...Too close to call.
Mad Dash vs. PsycloniZer: PsycloniZer - easy.
Paralyzation 2 vs. Battle Raptor 4: Paralyzation 2 - easy.
Y4 vs. Pure Evil: Back to Basics: Pure Evil - not quite as easy as the previous two :proud:
Nidhogg Evo vs. pick-axe of doom: Nidhogg is going to eat Pick-Axe Of Doom up, chew it up and spit it out and notice he missed anything - Nidhogg to win.
The 6isc vs. STAT: The 6isc doesnt like pushers - STAT to win.
Black Panther vs. Knyfe: Brilliant - thats the only way to describe this. In me and Alexs second encounter, I think I stand a much better chance than the first one - with more than 3 times his pushing power at my disposal, and more traction, I feel confident to use...
8: A 42* hindged wedge at the front made of 7mm Hardox with a large 8mm Hardox hindge. The wedge is invertible, as it flops over if flipped, and isnt effected if flippeed. I use this against flippers.
The plan with this is to charge at his rear, and scoop him up and just push him about - maybe try to do a Storm II and ram him out the ring. The axe is not a fear as it shouldnt be too much of a danger to 6mm Hardox, and it looks to big to get into wheel housings. The flipper isnt TOO powerful, so thats not a threat to me either. Just plan to push him around the ring and kick his butt :proud:
Alex luck Alex...again :proud:
Premonition vs. Robo-Mosquito: Dont know much about either of these two.
Masamune vs. CroOKeD: Ill go for CroOKeD here, purely because of its spelling
Leprosy Infection vs. Sithis: Depends if Chris can stop Sithis spinning up to full speed - if so, he stands a chance, if not, hes screwed.
Syndos vs. Intriguer: No contest in my opinion - Intriuger to kick SNDOS around like nothing.
Matt 1 vs. Slammer: Dont know yet.
Curse of Dread vs. Matt 3: Dont know yet.
Robo-Goat vs. Matt 2: Matt will win easy :proud:
Good luck everyone, including Alex :proud:
ok...
boxx v eye of ran: of all the robots... ok plan is to try and ram him from the side, make some dents (hopefully) with the spikes, and when the pit is open push him down!
nidhogg v pick-axe-of-doom: try and axe him before he gets me! i recon if i can get him in the right place i could make some holes, or if im lucky get to the electronics!
masamune v CroOKeD: try to get him to the arena wall then flip him O.O.T.A, or if that fails keep flipping him over...and over...and over...untill the pit is opened so i can push him down!
well those are my tactics
jack
Achilles vs. Inferno
Achilles via flipping
Boxx vs. Eye of Ran
EOR via KO
Tenderizers Revenge 2 vs. Back to Rock III
BTR for a pitting
SOR X vs. Brutalis 2.1
Try and stall the rim by box-rushing, then flip it but dont flip it back so its flipper is useless. Go for a pitting with my superior pushing power
Crimson Thunder, vs. MacBeth
CT via pitting
Fatality vs. The R.O.C
I dont think a mcone can self-right if the spike comes right out of the top, so Ill just lift it over and leave it.
Ge5orce vs. Killotine: EVO
Ge5orce via OOTA
Cat With Wheels, vs. Mega Masher 2
CTW via JD
Robo-Tiger vs. Spin Dash Unleashed
SDU via pitting
Supreme vs. Liar 2
Supreme via KO
Seung Mina V vs. Wedge Devolution
Mina for an OOTA
Mad Dash vs. PsycloniZer
Psy for a KO
Paralyzation 2 vs. Battle Raptor 4
BR4 via pitting
Y4 vs. Pure Evil: Back to Basics
Y4 for an OOTA
Nidhogg Evo vs. pick-axe of doom
Nidhogg through
The 6isc vs. Stat
The 6isc FTW
Black Panther vs. Knyfe
Black Panther through
Premonition vs. Robo-Mosquito
The 4mm titanium armour will be no problem, just smash it in and try to avoid the drums.
Masamune vs. CroOKeD
Masamune, possibly
Leprosy Infection vs. Sithis
Leprosy
Syndos vs. Intriguer
Intriguer
Good luck everyone :)
Robo-Tiger: avoid the front, if not possible, aim for blade, try to knock it out or bend it, if possible, try to tip it over
Robo-Mosquito: Chew the side skirts, the magnets and then let it become the worlds most uncotrollable robot
Did I enter? lol
erm... Hypertension, BIACS-LE and... Heimlich
Heimlich vs. Slammer
Curse of Dread vs. BIACS-LE
Robo-Goat vs. Hypetension
And oops with Wedge Devo vs. Seung Mina V
Back to Rock III will try to pit his Tenderizers Revenge and Liar 2 will try to flip Supreme OOTA, thats pretty much what my tactics are :proud:
do I understand correctly that Flick received a bye?
Seung Mina V vs. Wedge Devolution
Son of a... :lame:
Get it out before it gets me out. :lame:
Curse of Dread vs. BIACS-LE
Attack BIACS-LEs disc. As a rule, horizontal does tend to beat vertical most of the time and bar beats disc because I can hit that disc more than the disc can hit my bar, if at all it can: area of attack. :proud: Dont bother shredding BIACS armour, as its not going to stop it; just keeping hitting that disc until it stops, then shove it down the pit.
SYNDOS vs. Intriguer
Mightily powerful disc, hmm...snag a wheel hole and drag it into the pit. If Im lucky maybe Ill puncture a tyre. :proud:
Good luck with this Dave. :)
Tenderizers Revenge will keep it simple against Back To Rock III, trying to get underneath, lift and take him to the pit, and keeping the skirts down if he gets too close to my sides. Other tactics nearer the time of the other battles.

do I understand correctly that Flick received a bye?
The 3 seeded bots get automatic entry into the group stages, and because Flicky came 2nd last time, it is 2nd seed.
