Axe to Fall will grab something and pit it, nothing more and nothing less
The stats are here at last! Cheers for waiting.
TEAM BRAVEHEART
1. Wedge Devolution
2. Killotine: EVO
3. Metal Sonic Spin Dash
4. Whirligig 4.5
5. E Clawdius Unum
6. Turbo Tails
7. Split Decision
8. Toby the T-Ram Engine
1. Wedge Devolution
SHAPE- low wedge with sloped rear
COLOUR- sleek and shiny silver
WEIGHT- about 100kg
DIMENSIONS- 90cm X 75cm X 30cm
SPEED- 16mph
TURNING CIRCLE- 0
GROUND CLEARANCE- 0mm at the front, 7mm for the rest of the robot. Fitted with Biohazard-style skirts on sides and rear, giving 0mm
ARMOUR- 4mm Hardox
WHEELS- inside robot, 4-wheel drive
POWER- 2 X LEM-130s; 2 x 12v 3amp NiCad packs, giving 36v @ 12amp
WEAPONS- As usual, the main weapon is a rear-hinged flipper. This is very similar to Chaos 2, except the blade at the bottom is bent ala Bigger Brother, allowing the flipper to have greater effect against bots with skirts or low centres of gravity. The flipper itself is powered by 2 X 80mm high pressure pneumatic rams, each running at 250psi. This should allow Wedge Devo to comfortably flip up to 1 tonne.
SRIMECH- The flipper can right the machine easily and the rear wedge should hopefully prevent a Chaos-style self-flip. Also, Wedge Devo is equipped with a grey semi-sphere on either side of robot to prevent it getting stuck on its side
NOTES- flashing red light on top of robot, flies Scotland flag
STRENGTHS- powerful flipper, fast, manoeuvrable, difficult to get underneath, tough armour, good traction
WEAKNESSES- could prove a bit tricky to control, limited CO2 (like all other flippers :P)
2. Killotine: EVO
SHAPE- compact box-wedge ala Storm 2, rounded back
COLOUR- red
WEIGHT- about 100kg
DIMENSIONS- 100cm X 70cm X 35cm
SPEED- 16mph
TURNING CIRCLE- 0m
GROUND CLEARANCE- virtually 0mm at the front with spatula, 10mm at sides and back. Skirts at sides and back produce 0mm.
ARMOUR- 3.25mm Hardox
WHEELS- inside robot, 4WD
POWER- 2 X LEM-130s; 2 x 12v 3amp NiCad packs, giving 36v @ 12amp
WEAPONS- The main weapon is the large pneumatic axe, composed of 3.5mm hardox. It is very similar to that of Killerhurtz and operates with a rack-and-pinion system like Terrorhurtz. Running on 160psi, the axe runs off an 80mm X 20mm ram and stores its gas in a 2kg main bottle and 1kg buffertank. If anything goes wrong with the axe, Killotine can use its great pushing power to simply ram its opponents to death.
SRIMECH- The axe. Even if it€™s already been fired while flipped, the axe can right itself ala Killerhurtz. Also, just like the original Killotine, the machine has a rounded back and a red semi-sphere on either side of robot to stop it getting beached.
NOTES- flies the Scotland flag, thanks to Tom, Aaron & AJ for helping with the design
STRENGTHS- Fast, dangerous weapon, good amount of traction, difficult to get under, quick srimech, nice and fast
WEAKNESSES- so-so turning, limited gas supply
3. Metal Sonic Spin Dash
SHAPE- low skirted box, with fixed front wedge & sloped sides
COLOUR- blue bodywork, with red-and-white striped skirting
WEIGHT- about 100kg
DIMENSIONS- 102cm X 75cm X 20cm
SPEED- 16mph
TURNING CIRCLE- 0m
GROUND CLEARANCE- virtually 0mm at front with spatula, 0mm elsewhere with skirts, 12mm elsewhere without skirts
ARMOUR- 3.75mm Hardox
WHEELS- inside robot, 6WD
POWER- 2 x LEM-130s. Runs at 36v and produces approximately 18hp.
WEAPONS- The main weapon here is really the excellent traction, but like all its other incarnations, Spin Dash still maintains its Pussycat-style vertical circular saw. The saw is powered by an S28-150 MagMotor and runs at 3000rpm. This time, however, the four-clawed spinner sticks halfway out of the front wedge, so that when the wedge/spatula combo bashes underneath an opponent, both the wheels and the underbelly are at the mercy of the saw.
Also features several Mute-style barbs on top to hook onto other robots and let me drag them around the ring
SRIMECH- a rear-hinged arm on top. Powered by an S28-400 MagMotor geared 250:1 for quick and easy self-righting.
NOTES- flies the Scotland flag, thanks to AJ, has F*** Shadow! written on the underbelly in red :proud:
STRENGTHS- excellent traction, fast, manoueverable, tough armour, well-skirted, great at getting under everyone else
WEAKNESSES- so-so turning ability
http://img77.imageshack.us/img77/360...pindashde6.png
4. Whirligig 4.5 (sort of formerly Whirligig 4.0)
SHAPE- flat disc
COLOUR- gold with Mauler-style scary face on top. The face shows the direction of the robot.
WEIGHT- about 100kg (see bottom)
DIMENSIONS- 101.6cm diameter X 12.7cm
SPEED- 15mph
TURNING CIRCLE- 0
GROUND CLEARANCE- 8mm
ARMOUR- 1.905 cm thick Grade 5 titanium
FEET- inside robot, uses 4 DrillZilla-style shuffling plates. These help prevent the bot being flung halfway across the ring on contact with another bot, ala Typhoon
POWER- 2 X S28-400s running on 36v. Uses 120 X NiCad cells at 36v, producing 12amps at 36v overall for drive and weapon power
WEAPONS- The main weapon on Whirligig is the spinning outer ring, fitted with 9 x Pussycat-style claws. The spinner is powered by an LEM-130 running at 36v. It can reach speeds of 1000rpm and produce up to 100kJ...more than enough to kill another bot at full speed.
As well as this, the power in the shuffling feet mean that Whirly can act as a pretty powerful pusher if the shell fails to work
SRIMECH- the robot is invertible and the blades prevent Whirly landing on his side
NOTES- flies Scotland flag, thanks to AJ, my first properly calculated machine
STRENGTHS- fast, manoeuvrable, very deadly weaponry, tough armour, scary face shows its direction, very good traction, cant be flung away on impact as easily as Typhoon
WEAKNESSES- so-so manoeuvrability, feet may prove vulnerable to crushers and axes
WEIGHT CHECK:
armour = 33.72kg (inc blades)
chassis, mounts, bracing etc = about 30kg
drive and weapon motors = 12kg overall
NiCads = about 15kg
feet = about 10kg overall
TOTAL WEIGHT = 100.72kg. Fits right into the roller limit, with the 1% error margin rule. Probably. :)

5. E Clawdius Unum (formerly Clawdius Decimus Murderous)
SHAPE- skirted wedge with small box section and rounded back
COLOUR- deep green with red shield emblazoned on the wedge, depicting a gold lion with a crown
WEIGHT- about 100kg
DIMENSIONS- 95cm X 70cm X 40cm
SPEED- 14mph
TURNING CIRCLE- 0m
GROUND CLEARANCE- virtually 0mm at the front, 0mm at sides and rear thanks to skirts (arranged in a Biohazard fashion, corner-to-corner), 10mm without
ARMOUR- 4mm Hardox
WHEELS- inside robot, 4-wheel drive
POWER- 2 X S28-400 MagMotors
WEAPONS- The main weapon, as ever, is the hydraulic diamond-tipped crushing claw. It is powered by a Vivoil pump with an 80mm x 40mm ram, with a 2kg tank for storing the hydraulics. The claw runs at 3000psi and, aided by the diamond tip, should be able to leave plenty of holes in another robot.
The front wedge also features a Firestorm-style blade and two flat spears to aid in getting under the opposition. The wedge itself is now home to several Mute-style barbs to help ensnare other robots.
SRIMECH- A rear-hinged pneumatic arm on either side, powered by a pair of linear actuators. The rounded rear also prevents the robot getting beached.
NOTES- flies the Scotland flag, thanks to AJ, et tu, Brute? written on the underbelly
STRENGTHS- Quite nippy, good traction, powerful weapon, difficult to get underneath, fairly quick srimech
WEAKNESSES- so-so manoeuvrability
http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/1801/eclawdiusunumor1.pnghttp://img137.imageshack.us/img137/1...iusunumor1.png
6. Turbo Tails
SHAPE- short box with front wedge, sloped sides & rounded rear
COLOUR- yellow with the foxs face looking particularly evil on the front slope
WEIGHT- approx 100kg
DIMENSIONS- 100cm X 75cm X 25cm
SPEED- 16mph
TURNING CIRCLE- 0m
GROUND CLEARANCE- approx 0mm at front (titanium blade), 8mm everywhere else
ARMOUR- 3.5mm monocoque Hardox, with 2mm yellow fur over that.
MOVEMENT- 4 inner wheels
POWER- 2 x C40-500 MagMotors. Can produce approximately 12hp.
WEAPONS- Tails chief weapon is the horizontal spinning blade. Now mounted on top, its a bit heavier than before and has Fluffy-style heads instead of the old hammers. Its powered by an LEM-130 running at 36v and has top speeds of around 2500rpm, so its definately just as deadly as before - if not, more so!
The front wedge also hosts a forward-hinged flipping arm, powered by an 80mm x 20mm full-pressure CO2 ram. The arm operates at 750psi, giving it a fair bit of oomph, and stores its gas in a 2kg main bottle. Capable of just over 30 fires per fight.
SRIMECH- The flipper. Sloped sides and rounded rear also prevent it getting beached.
NOTES- flies the Scotland flag, thanks to AJ
STRENGTHS- weapons synergy, touger armour, fast, fairly compact, greater pushing power
WEAKNESSES- not quite as manouverable as before, flammability, wholl take it seriously? :proud:
http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/7952/turbotailslongered5.pnghttp://img84.imageshack.us/img84/795...slongered5.png
7. Split Decision
SPECIAL THANKS- to Aaron for the name and to Tom for helping with the design
FORM- 2-way Heavyweight clusterbot
LINKING SYSTEM- the duo are connected by a small chain attached to a hook on their rears when entering the ring. As soon as the battle begins, the two burst forwards and break the weak chain, allowing them to charge around by themselves
PART 1
NAME- FOR
SHAPE- wedge with sloped sides (ala Spawn Again)
COLOUR- gold, with blue thumbs up on the rear
WEIGHT- around 80kg
DIMENSIONS- 75cm X 60cm X 25cm
SPEED- 10mph, with Tornadoey acceleration
TURNING CIRCLE- 0m
GROUND CLEARANCE- 0mm at front (thanks to red spatula), rises up to 15mm at the rear
ARMOUR- 7mm Grade 5 titanium
MOVEMENT- four inner wheels
POWER- 2 x 750-watt Bosch GPA motors, running at 36v (should give around 7hp)
WEAPONS- The brute force factor and the many Mute-style spikes on the wedge. The idea is to power under the other competitors, skewer them on the hooked prongs and slam them around the ring to my hearts content
SRIMECH- a thin blue arm on the sloped front. The arm is forward-hinged and uses a very basic low-pressure CO2 system ala Firestorm. This should produce around 30 flips per match, more than enough for all me self-righting needs
NOTES- flies the Scotland flag
STRENGTHS- strong pushing power, great armour, fast, good manoueverability, great at slippin under others
WEAKNESSES- the weight issue, lack of proper weaponry
PART 2
NAME- AGAINST
SHAPE- box with hinged wedge at the front
COLOUR- gold with blue strip running down the wedge (top and bottom) and blue thumbs down on the rear
WEIGHT- approx 20kg
DIMENSIONS- 50cm X 35cm X 15cm
SPEED- 14mph
TURNING CIRCLE- 0m
GROUND CLEARANCE- 0mm at front (thanks to Firestorm-style titanium strip), 25mm for the rest
ARMOUR- 4mm Grade 5 titanium
MOVEMENT- four inner wheels
POWER- 2 x AstroFlights, running at 24v. Pretty powerful for a lightweight.
WEAPONS- The brute force factor and the many Mute-style spikes on the top and bottom (10mm high each so they allow smooth movement when driving). The idea is to power under the other competitors, skewer them on the hooked prongs and slam them around the ring to my hearts content.
SRIMECH- invertible
NOTES- flies the Scotland flag
STRENGTHS- strong pushing power, good armour, fast, good manoueverability, great at slippin under others
WEAKNESSES- the weight issue, lack of proper weaponry
http://img81.imageshack.us/img81/4935/splitdecisionhp7.pnghttp://img81.imageshack.us/img81/493...ecisionhp7.png
8. Toby the T-Ram Engine
SHAPE- box with tall Biohazard-style skirts on all 4 sides
COLOUR- the robot looks the spitting image of Toby from good old Thomas The Tank Engine And Friends
WEIGHT- about 100kg
DIMENSIONS- 105cm X 65cm X 60cm
SPEED- about 15mph
TURNING CIRCLE- 0m
GROUND CLEARANCE- virtually 0mm all round, provided by his cowcatchers and side-plates (aka high Biohazard-style skirts) all around the machine
ARMOUR- 15mm Lexan
WHEELS- inside robot, 6-wheel drive
POWER- 2 X LEM-130s
WEAPONS- Toby is a rambot, and as such doesn€™t have any active weapons. The main way Toby attacks is to plough under the opposition with the front skirts into the buffers and shove it into the arena wall, the House Robots or to the Pit
SRIMECH- Toby can get back onto his wheels thanks to 2 rollcages going over the top of the machine attached at the top by a metal bar (similar to SSD) Also, there€™s 2 more rollcages on the back to prevent it getting beached there
NOTES- flies the Scotland flag, equipped with a little bell on top
STRENGTHS- nice high traction, very difficult to get underneath, tough armour, full body rammer, a treat to look at
WEAKNESSES- so-so manoeuvrability, no active weaponry
Hope thatll suffice, Samuel, and sorry for the hold-up!

Time for tactics and predictions. This looks like a good line-up. :)
Heat A
Wedginator VS Dante VS Axe To Fall - I reckon Dante could possibly go out here
DVD VS 147 VS Leprosy Infection - DVD out I think
Heat Winner: Probably Wedginator 6.0, although I€™ll go for Leprosy Infection as a dark horse.
Heat B
Wedgas Revenge VS Supreme Glory Gamma VS Death Threat - A team-up with Dan sounds good here. I should be able to push Death Threat around all day, while those horizontal claws will be nice to get under and use to flip it about.
(Steve Entry) VS (Another Entry) VS Aftershock - Obviously no predictions yet but I€™m guessing Aftershock will probably go through anyway.
Heat Winner: Difficult to say yet, but at this stage it€™s looking like Supreme Glory Gamma.
Heat C
Psyclonised VS Sithis VS Obliteration - Three ring spinners? I don€™t think I€™ve heard of that before. Either way, this should be fun seeing us bounce all over the place. As I have superior power in my weapon set-up and better armouring, I think I should be okay, so just hit whatever it nearest. Obliteration is more of a target as it has slightly weaker armour.
The 6isc VS Another Night at the Bar VS ArchAngel of The Abyss - Ouch. The 6isc and Another Night at the Bar are good new designs, and that is the major reason I think AAOTA will be going out. It€™s getting on a bit now.
Heat Winner: Talk about a heat of doom. 6 very destructive robots in this heat, and I truly believe any one of them could win it. If I€™m going to pick someone, I shall go for The 6isc.
Heat D
Flick of The Wrist VS Y4 VS The May Tracks has You - Probably Y4 to go out here
Dreadnaut VS Axes of Evil VS Pure Evil: Revenge of the Disc - 300kJ flywheel hitting fibreglass? You do the maths. :proud: Dreadnaut to be obliterated.
Heat Winner: Pure Evil seems to most obvious choice, but it also seems to most obvious to self destruct. I shall go for Flick of the Wrist here.
Heat E
Crimson Thunder VS Door Stops VS Gemini - Probably Gemini will go out here
ARRTDS VS Squishest VS Tira 3 - ARRTDS to burn itself out€¦
Heat Winner: I think Tira III has this one easily.
Heat F
Seung Mina VS Nitrogene VS Dead Horse Beater - The Horse to jump the fence€¦
Storm 2 VS Big Nipper VS (Steve Entry) - Depends what Steve puts in, but probably Big Nipper out
Heat Winner: Probably Seung Mina III and maybe Nitro-Gene 4.0
Heat G
Die-Ceratops Re-Invertus VS ISDSFA VS Black Panther Queen - ISDSFA will probably fall here
Fire & Ice VS Lethal Injection VS Dennis the Menace - Hmmm€¦ Lethal Injection out, good fight though
Heat Winner: This is a tough one€¦ BPQ and Die-Ceratops would be the most likely, but Dennis could do well and Fire & Ice has the potential to spring a susrprise.
Heat H
Gabriel VS Slaying Mantis VS Exertion - Go for a team up with Joey and give Slaying Mantis a good push about before pitting it. My armour should withstand the crusher fine.
Panic Attack VS Manic Monsoon VS MeCannibal - Panic Attack out
Heat Winner: Another hard one, but probably Manic Monson and maybe MeCannibal, with Gabriel as a dark horse.
OK, Ive thought about it, and I decided that the realies come back, but theres only one more spot for Steve.

Heat I
The Matador VS Scaramanga II VS Worck
Um...unless Paul is allowed to revise his stats, then hes out. If so...I can see Scaramanga going out, smokescreen or no.
Megabyte VS Wheely Pure Evil 2 VS Intrigue
Oh (bleep). :lame: Dan, lets try to take out Megabyte. Please? :proud:
Heat J
Turbulence VS Rupture VS With or Without You
Its like I said before: With or Without You will not do good in melees. Martijn, sadly, out.
Baldur Gamma VS Knocking Out VS Son of Ripper Hex
Paul out.
Heat K
Wedge Devolution VS Vlad the Impaler VS Cat with Wheels
See ya, Vlad. :proud:
Mega Masher 2 VS No Objections VS Yet Another Cut Above the Rest
I can swiftly see either Joey or Chris becoming cannon fodder. :proud:
Heat L
Sakura VS Darkestar VS Split Decision
Split Decision to be split into pieces. :proud:
Humdrum VS Autoism VS Back to Rock III
Uh...Humdrum out. :proud:
Heat M
Killotine: EVO VS Macduff the 2nd VS The Quaestor
Im actually going to go against the favour and team-up with Joey. Set-up 3 will do nicely nice (the lowered spikes), which will nullify Killotines front end clearance completely. That axe wont do anything to my hardox armour, either. Also, WHO has the greater power and traction? :proud:
Salamander III VS Axeon 2.0 VS Sheer Heart Attack 2
LOL. :proud: Two Crash & Burn champions, and Axeon 2.0 stuck between them. :proud: Not looking good for AJ unless he teams up with either of the two, but Id say that hes going to get teamed-up on himself. :proud:
Heat N
Sonic Boom VS GeForce 4.0 VS Biohazard
Biohazard for the flip and out.
Orka Mk 4 VS E Clawdius Unum VS Tri-Tainium
Orka and Clawdius are proven bots, tough and true. Tri-Tainium, not so much. Clawdius is definitely going through, and for now I will side with Orka to join him.
Heat O
Liar 2 VS Super Gore Evo VS Radioactive
To be honest, I hardly know anything about Radioactive, so Ill just say for now that me and Martijn should destroy it. :proud:
Revolutionist VS Turbo Tails VS Dervish V
Revolutionist out.
Heat P
Killobite 5.0 VS Metal Sonic Spin Dash VS Axe-O-Lotl
Really, I dont care about teaming up here, I can take on both these guys weapons. Just go for the one nearest, sink the claw in, lift, and go for a pitting.
Chaos 2 VS Firestorm V VS Tempest Evil-est-Oution
Tempest through for sure. Dunno which realie will join him.
Heat Winner Predictions
A: Me or Dante
B: Supreme Glory Gamma
C: Psyclonised or The 6isc
D: Flick of the Wrist or Pure Evil
E: Me! :proud: Oh wait...um...Crimson Thunder? :proud:
F: Whirligig :lame:
G: Too open for me to call for sure, but Fire and Ices chances look the best, though.
H: I actually think MeCannibal has a chance here, but Manic Monsoon looks quite good.
I: Wheely Pure Evil
J: Baldur or SoR
K: Wedge Devo
L: Sakura, Back to Rock, or Darkestar
M: Sheer Heart Attack! :proud:
N: GeForce
O: Liar or Dervish
P: Firestorm has a slim chance, but I think itll be Tempest.
Seems to be quite a cracking tournament, Samuel. :)
Well, if Im allowed to revise my stats then fine, and thisll be what my robot will look like.
WORCK
€ WEIGHT: 100kg
€ ARMOUR: 5mm Hardox for the body and flipper. 6mm Hardox for the scoop. There are hindged wedges on the sides and rear of Worck made of 3.25mm Hardox. Behind the armour, all the way around Vulkanised rubber to shock-proof it against spinners.
€ SHAPE: A low wedge shape.
€ MOTORS: 2 x S28-400 MagMotors at 36V = 12HP
€ LOCOMOTION: 4 Vulkanised Wheels.
€ DIMENSIONS: (L) 70CM (H) 15CM (W) 70CM
€ COLOUR: Black for the flipper and barbs, white for the body.
€ WEAPONRY: A forward hindged flipper, running on a single 750psi ram running on CO2. The gas is contained in 2 x 2.5kg bottle, giving me 20 flips per fight, and the gearing on the ram 3:1 means we have 1300kg of flipping force! That should mean on a forward hindged flipper that I can flip almost everything OOTA.
€ SPEED: 13mph
€ GROUND CLEARANCE: The wedges, which join up at the corners of the robot, make the ground clearance effectively zero, but underneath the wedges is 5mm of clearance. The wedges are held on by Titanium hindges
€ STRENGTH: Near impossible to get under.
€ WEAKNESS: Low speeds.
If you ask where all the shock-proofing came from, I lost 5kg on the redesign, so I added in that in case I faced a spinner.
Ill post my predictions at a later date.
HEAT K
Mega Masher VS No Objections VS Yet Another Cut Above the Rest
Ill take my chances on a team up with AJ - basically turn Mega Masher over a lot and into YACATRs disc, and start spinning if MM comes on the attack. If he agrees of course.
Heat M
Killotine: EVO VS Macduff the 2nd VS The Quaestor
Teamup accepted, Mr. Kunz. I can do some damage with the axe and help in the pushing around, and possibly handle the pit release button duties.
Heat O
Liar VS Super Gore Evo. VS Radioactive
Radioactive is a lightweight...but its a small, very very low and rather fast lightweight. Avoid any weaponry, wedge under any uprotected side I can and rack up aggression points.
Wedgas Revenge VS Supreme Glory Gamma VS DEATH THREAT 0.2
Supreme Glory can only attack me is I attack from the front or back, and Im a bit faster, so Ill go for the sides and pit it. Not certain what to do about Wedga though. Errm... prepare my will?
Psyclonised VS SITHIS VS Obliteration
Team up with AJ if he agrees, and obliterate Obliteration. If AJ doesnt agree, just stay away and obliterate Obliteration anyway.
Wedge Devolution VS Vlad the Impaler VS CAT WITH WHEELS
Can Vlad even self-right? Meh, flip it around, try and get it out of the arena.
CRIMSON THUNDER VS Door Stops VS GEMINI
yeah, I have two robots here. Dont know if that will be fixed, but whatever. Crimson Thunder will ram one of the Door Stops around, which should be easy given the weight, will one of the Gemini twins will try and flip the other. The second Gemini twin will hang around in the vicinity of the pit. If things turn sour for Crimson Thunder, itll drive itself in to save my better entry.
Fire & Ice VS LETHAL INJECTION VS Dennis the Menace
as Fire & Ice will be keeping Dennis busy, ill dart in and give it a few whacks with the flywheel while Joey shoves it around.
PANICATTACK VS Manic Monsoon VS MeCannibal 2.0
Like before, start writing my will. Errm, I suppose I could lift Monsoon up and drag it into MeCannibals disc?
Dreadnaut VS AXES OF EVIL VS Pure Evil: Revenge of the Disc
Dreadnaut is basically cannon fodder, so axe it until it dies.
Heat I
Matador VS Scarmanga VS WORCK
Hide in the smoke and let the robot do its work...
Heat J
Baldur VS Knocking Out VS SOR Hex
Im tempted to go for SOR here just so I dont have to fight it solo later, does the owner of knocking ou fancy a team up?
Heat L
Sakura VS Darkestar VS Split Decision
Dont know anythign abotu either of these, so Ill just head for whomever has the lifter armour and try to finish the fight quickly.
Heat M
Salamander VS Axeon VS Sheer Heart Attack 2
Hmmm.... a nasty heat.... again get the first over with by going for the softer opponent.
Yes Alex - I do fancy a gang-up on SOR. My axe rivals that of Axeon, an AJ robot which is claimed to have the ability to dent Hardox. Ill happily dent the top several times, maybe force the armour down far enough to immobilise one side of it to make it easier to pit.
Do you also plan to help Worck take out The Matador?
Time for the rest then€¦
Heat I
Matador VS Scarmanga VS WORCK - Maybe WORCK out
Megabyte VS Wheely Pure Evil 2 VS Intrigue - Megabyte might struggle here
Heat Winner: Wheely Pure Evil
Heat J
Turbulence VS Rupture VS With or Without You - Obviously the main intention will be to avoid Without You. Maybe I could team up with Martijn here and me and With You could push Turbulence into the bar spinner. If not, then just keep rolling Turbulence over and shove it around.
Baldur VS Knocking Out VS SOR Hex - Bring on a team up at your peril. I€™ll go for the horizontal bar here. Spin up, and go crazy on Knocking Out. Those skirts look like some nice food. 5mm Titanium is also quite bad, I should put some nice slices in that. Paul also provided me with a weakness to exploit - €œeasily flipped€ - so once those skirts are removed I€™ll throw it around. For the record Paul, your axe is nothing like Axeon€™s and I€™m not seeing it do any damage at all to SOR€™s top armour. Baldur doesn€™t particularly bother me, but if it wants a pop at me, get to its sides and bury my blade in. 5mm Kevlar and some foam? It may as well be cardboard. :proud:
Heat Winner: Well if I can€™t choose myself I€™ll go for Baldur.
Heat K
Wedge Devolution VS Vlad VS Cat with Wheels - Vlad out
Mega Masher VS No Objections VS Yet Another Cut Above the Rest - Go for the team up with Joey. I can cause quite a bit of damage to Mega Masher, so aim for those sides. If I€™m bored, I might go for a vertical vs. horizontal disc collision later on in the match. :lame:
Heat Winner: Wedge Devo, or possibly No Objections.
Heat L
Sakura VS Darkestar VS Split Decision - Split Decision could go out here
Humdrum VS Autoism VS Back to Rock - What€™s Humdrum? Get it out! :P
Heat Winner: I€™m thinking Back to Rock here.
Heat M
Killotine: EVO VS Macduff the 2nd VS Quaseator - Quaseater out, but should be a good match
Salamander VS Axeon VS Sheer Heart Attack 2 - Kody, you sure have some weird champions. :proud: I seem to recall Axeon knocked Salamander III out anyway, so that€™s not a real worry. I think Martijn might want to have a go at Salamander€™s wheels with the drum, so I€™ll pose a team up where I pin Salamander with the axe and Sheer Heart Attack rips into it. I€™ll see if Martijn agrees€¦ If not, I€™ll be going for Salamander anyway, box rush, axe it, push it around.
Heat Winner: Sheer Heart Attack, Killotine or Macduff - can€™t choose.
Heat N
Sonic Boom VS GeForce VS BioHazard - Get under BioHazard, flip it over. That€™s it.
Orka Mk 4 VS E Clawdius Unum VS Tri-Tanium - Tri-Tanium probably out here
Heat Winner: Hard to say€¦ maybe Clawdius?
Heat O
Liar VS Super Gore Evo. VS Radioactive - Goodbye Radioactive.
Revolutionist VS Turbo Tails VS Dervish V - Goodbye Revolutionist.
Heat Winner: Any of the remaining four€¦ maybe Super Gore Evo
Heat P
Killobite 5.0 VS Metal Sonic Spin Dash VS Axe-O-Lotl - I€™d say Axe-O-Lotl out
Chaos 2 VS Firestorm VS Tempest Evil-est-Oution - Well Tempest is through, of the others, probably Firestorm.
Heat Winner: Most likely Tempest

That should answer your question. Its a piece of doo-doo on wheels.
What on Earth did I just watch?
*turns volume off*
Thats the last time I say JP was bad. Did someone seriously select those presenters?!
Get out of our ring! Kill em Shunt! :proud:
I was disappointed nobody put Squirmin Vermin on the flame pit...
That is AWFUL! The American take on Robot Wars was dreadful, BattleBots was brilliant, but when the American take the original recordings and sell it as their own, its just unbelievable!
They had that commentator on for the 4th Robot Wars, and he was dreadful! He couldnt commentate, and they cut huge chunks out!
(Message edited by paulc on March 15, 2008)
By the way, AJ has 2 robots in the same heat - Heat J. Just to tell you that Samuel.
EDIT!!!!!
Heat P Round 1, Eliminator 2
Chaos 2 VS Rupture VS Tempest
Actually, there was no flame pit in that mini-series.
But, basically, all you need to know is that Humdrum is very little opposition.
HEY GUYS, HERE WE GO!!!
Heat A, Round 1, Battle 1
From Team Zlayerz, Wedginator!
Wedginator will wedginate you if you aint quick enough to run away :proud:. It€™s got a nasty flipper which is powered by a single 2.5kg CO2 Tank! This can flip about 300kg! When you combine that with 6mm hardox, LEM Drive, and 6WD, you€™re sure to have some carnage coming to the war zone!
From Team Doomforall, Dante!
Dante is the machine from hell! It is a really fast machine, with a mighty 24 kg spinning flywheel of doom for a weapon. This flywheel spins at 1000RPM powered by a magmotor, and it also has a rear srimech as well. But high ground clearance makes it vulnerable to flippers, and there is ONE in this fight€¦
From Team Varying Every Day, Axe to Fall!
Axe to Fall will axe you like hell if you don€™t run away quick enough. It€™s got a Terrorhurtz-style axe and the axe blade is shaped like a Japanese Tanto Blade to maximize the damage! But there are no side weapons€¦ and there€™s high ground clearance as well. Ugh€¦
Roboteers, Stand by!
Booth 1: Wedginator, Dante
Booth 2: Axe To Fall
3€¦ 2€¦ 1€¦ ACTIVATE!!!
So the first battle of Robobash commences now. Wedginator, first to move, gets underneath Axe to Fall, and flips it over onto its back. Axe to Fall self-rights, but he lands right onto Dante€™s flywheel disc!
CRASH!
One wheel is hit with the disc! Now, Axe To Fall limps on three wheels, and Dante comes in again, disc up to full speed ahead!
CRASH!
Oh! The disc tips Axe to Fall over again and showers of sparks litter the arena and Martijn self rights directly! Now Wedginator comes out of nowhere and gets under the 7mm ground clearence at the back, and pushes it towards the wall!
FA-LIP!!
OH!!! After just 19 seconds into the fight Wedginator flicks Axe to Fall over the fence!!!!!!
CEASE!
Axe to Fall falls right out of the arena.
Wedginator and Dante go through!
Not at all bad, Sam :)

Not bad for a first time fight, Samuel! :) Better luck next time, Marti. :proud:
From Team Chevron, 147!
147 has got a very dangerous flipper, which is powered by 2 rams and 2 2kg CO2 tanks, giving about 20 flips per fight. It can be flammable (How is it flammable?) and it has limited CO2€¦ like all other flippers.
From Team Insanity, Death Via Drum!
DVD make mincemeat out of you until you begin to cry for your mommy. It has got a massive 15kg drum spinning at 6500RPM, and it is also completely invertble. It IS a tad bit slow, though.
From Team Dinowarrior, Leprosy Infection!
Leprosy Infection is another drumbot which will gauge you all the way to your bones if you don€™t run away for your life. This lethal drum spins at 4000RPM, with sharp teeth on it, and it€™s also invertible, but being invertible means that crushers and axes can find its tyres€¦
Roboteers, stand by!
Booth 1: 147, D.V.D
Booth 2: Leprosy Infection
3€¦ 2€¦ 1€¦ ACTIVATE!
Leprosy Infection, first to move, immediately presses the pit button after €œactivate€ is said. DVD is now spinning up, and Leprosy spins up as well, both going for 147, and DVD digs into the side of 147 with the drum!
CRASH!
OH!!!! 147 is being shredded! Just look at the damage caused to it right now! The side skirt is ripped clean off, and the wheels are exposed! Now Leprosy Infection comes in for a frontal attack, and€¦ oh no€¦ 147€™s flipper has been activated before Leprosy goes over it!
BOOM!!!!
OHHHHHH!!!!!! The CO2 Tank BURSTS open!!!! Joey is looking traumatized now, as DVD spins up again and hits 147 again!
CRASH!!!
Now€¦ the flipper of 147 is stuck open, exposing the mechanics!!! An imaginary light bulb goes over Chris€™s head, and Chris spins up and hits the stuck-open flipper of 147!
CRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OHHHHH!!!!! Man, that is one hell of a hit! OH, and I think 147€™s on fire! It€™s smoking!!! Leprosy Infection now starts nudging 147 ever so close to that pit of oblivion, and€¦ BOOM! Down they go!
CEASE!
147 better make room for 148.
DVD and Leprosy Infection go through!
*waits eagerly for the second round*
Round 2 Lineups
Wedginator VS DVD
Dante VS Leprosy Infection
Heat A Round 2
Wedginator 6.0 vs. DVD
Drums dont damage hardox, at least, not properly. And because of the set-up of Wedginators flipper, it aint gonna shock me to death. :proud: Get under those lovely skirtless sides and pit DVD without any problems. The blade in front of Wedginator should prevent me from getting flipped by the drum as well.
Dante vs. Leprosy Infection
I like Dantes weapon, its quite the lethal one, and the chassis is pretty strong, but all the same I believe that Leprosy Infection will toss it over with the drum, and keep smacking it towards the pit. Dantes self-righting probably wont help it here as its a bit on the slow side, and Chrisll just knock him right back over. Yeah, Leprosy Infection FTW here.
Yes! DVD wins its first battle! Good news!
Heat A Round 2
Wedginator 6.0 vs. D.V.D
Bad news! Well, Wedginator 6.0 did come 2nd in my hypothetical E.O.T.R 3, so thats a reason for me to show respect for it. But, although Kodys right when he says drums dont damage Hardox properly, who said I was going to try to damage him? Just keep hitting his sides and keep it upside-down. And hell have to go for a pitting becuase his flipper isnt that powerful, and so Im going to keep him away from the pit release button :proud: Good luck Kody! Ill need it
Dante vs. Leprosy Infection
Ill go for Dante here to knock Leprosy out and make the Heat Final!
Its flammable because the front is covered in felt...and good battle, it was my fault for entering something inspired by snooker anyway :proud:
Ill guess Wedginator and Dante to make the final. but that first fight is difficult.
Wedginator VS DVD
Wedginator teamed up with Dante to defeat Axe to Fall as it... well, fell out of the arena!
DVD teamed up with Leprosy Infection to destroy 147.
Roboteers, Stand By!
Booth 1: Wedginator
Booth 2: DVD
3€¦ 2€¦ 1€¦ ACTIVATE!
Wedginator is the first to move, and meanwhile DVD spins up to full speed ahead. Now, both botss are coming for a frontal SLAM!
CRASH!!
Wedginator takes very little damage, even after that collision! The only part we see some damage is just a little scratch on the alligator (or crocodile, whatever you call it) face! Now DVD is thrashed away, and gets the drum to spin to its TOP SPEED, and crashes into Wedginator once again!
CRASH!
Wedginator just has another scratch on the alligator face, and DVD is on top of Wedginator€™s flipper!! Now, Wedginator immediately heading for the pit button, and€¦
FA-LIP!!!
OHHHHHHH!!!! It puts DVD over the fence by mistake, but€¦.
CEASE!
DVD should be put in a DVD player.
Wedginator goes through to the Heat A Final!
Hah, cool. Your battles are progressing nicely, Samuel, and right now, I cant complain about them being too short because of the length of the matches themselves. :proud:
Cant wait for the second fight. :)
