Ill be busy Saturday night anywya using the new errr stuff we use and get on Saturday, for the 2 sunday shows. All will be clear on Saturday. So hope John has a nice hotel with internet connection and unlimited supply of drinks for me. LOL!

Hi John, Its not quite finished yet but not too far off. Ian Watts modified the speed controller for me to run on 36V so I could use the 36V motors I have. Hope the family are ok. The kids are looking forward to this one so all been well we will see you there. Cheers Chris

I hope all your Robots are nicely painted for Portsmouth, taking alot of pictures and video clips of teams and robots etc, so make sure your make up is done Clive.

i will take a couple of pics tomorrow kody. it took me and jason 6 hours to do the front and it just looks like there has been a bit of ti slapped on there. look closer tho and there is definate difference. looking forward to portsmouth for some reason now

Im looking forward to Portsmouth as well, our heavy will be ready by then, just the sidewinder and new batteries left to fit.

Tidal Wave 2 is done so I might bring that too.

Shockwave and Whirlpool are still in bits and might not be there but Aftershock is ready.

This was a good event for us last year so we are looking forward to it.

Make sure all your robots are on the Roaming Robots system before signing up to this event which goes live in the next few days. Were lauching a new Event system, but your robots need to be on the system before you attend the event so we can keep track of everything.

Good Luck everyone. Also might have something new to launch soon on the site about this event.

Errrrrr well... still in the early stages but should be running on a basic trial run at Portsmouth, but errrr how does a live web cam in the arena sound to give constant picture feed to our web site sound Swanny?

LOL. Well attualy i might even be able to (If i programned the sofware rightly) take random pictures from one of 6 cams we will have around the area. So sadly theres more cams for roboteers to spot and well, hmmmm, i think they may need a warning before the cam goes live. LOL!
(Waits for Swanny to do naughty pose in arena. lol)

Update - Sign Ups Now Live for Portsmouth - 05/09/08

Sign ups are now live for the Portsmouth Winter Tour Event. Remember you need to attend at least one of the qualifying events to get a chance to qualify to be in the top 10 or 12 to get to Maidstone Winter Tour Grand Finals. If you are NOT attending the Nottingham Event, then you must attend this event for the chance to qualify to get into the grand finals at Maidstone. (Remember you can still attend Maidstone for white board fights).

If you are attending Nottingham for qualifying rounds, you can still attend Portsmouth to increase your chances of getting points to attend the Grand Finals.

Details of the hotel and more are in the roboteers section. So go and log in and sign up now!

Please make sure you sign up all robots you wish to bring to the events.

Tickets are now on sale and as normal are selling fast for Portsmouth!

Viewing them wont be an issue anymore :)
