Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Heres a suggestion...if it cant self-right, Id best handle him. I say talk to him first, then give him a warning. The instance he comes close, Ill flip him right up and possibly over. Once we catch up with him (where ever hes gone), a little damage threat wouldnt hurt. Once hes told us all we need to know, we go with what Steven said, and smash him to pieces.
Sound good?
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Spin up to speed and then ask - then even if it does decide to attack its going to have its weapon ripped out. Plus 3mm titanium probably wont give it that much defense. I say however go for confusing him with words to get him to join us if at all possible, citing complex psychobabble to confuse it into our bidding. Then it can be used as cannonfodder later.

Speak! demanded the ninjabot again after a long silence. Tengu VII began to spin her blades up, and NSBFR-Xs drum appeared at the front. Clawdius Decimus Murderous however remained silent.
Who are you, sir? he asked the ninjabot.
I do not have to answer to thieves such as yourselves! snarled the ninjabot. Now die!
And the ninjabot charged forward, katana ready. However Die-Ceratops Re-Invertus was ready. The second the ninjabot came close to them, Die-Ceratops slipped under its front and tossed it very high into the air, and down onto its back, and Tengu smashed into it, tearing off its side armour. The ninjabot screamed in pain. NSBFR-X also came forward but Clawdius moved in front of him.
Answer now or we will destroy you! ordered Clawdius. Who are you and what is this place? There was an obstinate silence, then...
I am Kunao, a Fu-Ma messenger of the feudal king! You are in the bot-fu Kingdom of Ohmi that the king claims! the ninjabot squeaked in fear.
And whats going on? asked Flick. It sounds like theres a war going on.
Those are soldiers trying to kill the renegade! said the ninjabot. One of our kind has betrayed us!
Betrayed? said Tengu. Well that doesnt surprise me, the way you all act.
Curse you! said the ninjabot. I will kill all of you -
But he never got to finish, for Tengu smashed into him and tore out his vitals (electronics, motors, etc :P), and it gave a final scream of pain before ceasing to move.
Well, that takes care of that, said NSBFR-X. What do you think we should do?
What do you mean? grunted PMPY.
Well, Matty, said Flick. Its quite obvious. Theres a king, and then theres the renegade. Who do you think we should find first?
We might find the king in this building. He might have a Gear, said Clawdius.
Or maybe the renegade has it, said Tengu.
Lets vote on it, then, said Die-Ceratops.
****
What do you do? Find the feudal king, or the renegade?
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Told you talking first wouldnt help:lame:
Anyway, I say the Renegade. The King certainly isnt on our side, the Renegade may be. Even if they dont have the Gear we may find an ally.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Id have to agree with Franky. To add to it, trying to find the king could just lead us on a wild goose chase somehow. I have this feeling in my blood. Or is it now electronics? Oh, whatever.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
In this instance Im as suspicious of the Renegade as I am the King, which is my first reaction, but Ill go along with the mass descision again.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Im interested in the renegade guys
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
You say you want a revolution?
Alright, Im in. :proud:
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
For what its worth Id have gone for the king.
6 on 1 against the king and guards. The King is probably like a house robot, but wed have the means to dispose. The thing Id say is that we can take on most of them between us, and I dont think Kody can exactly let it get to game over ;)
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
continuing...
All right, who thinks we should go and find the renegade? said Clawdius. For I do.
Me, said Flick, Tengu, NSBFR-X, and Die-Ceratops simultaneously.
Uh...I want to find the king, said PMPY. Everybody turned to PMPY. I think we could take him out.
Youve been outvoted, Matt, said Tengu. PMPY growled in slight frustration, but holding back the retort.
So the six robots made their way from the palace temple. Not too soon, however, they found themselves behind a score of soldier robots, each that were trying to break down a heavily beaten wooden door, charging at it. However they hear the six robots approaching and immediately turn to face them. Without warning they charge!
ENCOUNTER!
Samuraibot x 20
Shape: Panic Attack.
Weight: 90kg
Speed: 15mph
Armour: 3mm titanium
Weapon: An pneumatic axe shaped like a katana.
Srimech: Axe.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
3mm titanium, eh? I think thatd be easy for my fellow friends to rip through. I think Tengu, NSBFR-X and CDM could easily get through that. Plus, its lightweight, so Ill be able to flip them easily. If the above robots are dealing with some of the Samuraibots, Ill be picking off any trying to pull a sneak attack. As they can right themselves, I cant be in control of them too much.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
There may be 20 of them, but its no contest. A katana shape has too wide an area to do much to any of our armour, whereas we can do a lot to their armour. Ill use the scoop however, and push enemies into Tengu.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
I think Frank has a nice idea here
I say Tengu remains static and spins up, while the rest of us charges in at the Samurais and pushes them into Tengu one at a time. I believe we all have a wedge-shape of sorts, except for PMPY who is an excellent pusher anyway.
BTW, Kody, Id like some info of our surroundings for every encounter, yknow, there might be a nice pit near :proud:.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Scoop one up, grab a hold and feed it to Tengu. Lather, rinse and repeat. :proud:
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Okay, Martijn.
There is a tall cliff to your right, resulting in instant death for whomever falls down there. :proud:
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
nice Kody, things like that might come in handy later on
right now though, I think we should stick with the all balls on Tengu tactic!
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
continuing...
The Samuraibots charged immediately, but were instantly dispatched. Tengu tore through most of them with ease, while many of the others snagged one and brought them to Tengu. Additionally, many got smashed off of the nearby cliff. Soon none of the Samuraibots had a hope of standing ever again.
Well, shall we continue? said Flick.
Indeedily so, Flick my old bean, said Clawdius casually, and they approached the beaten door. It didnt look like it could stand up to another attack.
Allow me, said Tengu, spinning up its blades. It approached the door and -
CRASH!!!
Tengu cried out as it was flung back, and onto its back, but in doing so it proved its power: the door splintered apart instantly and provided an opening wide enough for all of them to slip through.
Well done, Alex, laughed Flick. Tengu growled as the self-righter popped up, righting it.
Can we go now? said Die-Ceratops irritably.
We might want to pick these up first, said PMPY, indicating two Tool Kits and and Power Boost.
Now Chris, how could you not have noticed that? NSBFR-X said in an innocent tone. All of them laughed except Die-Ceratops, who wasnt particularly pleased by the joke at his expense.
Can we go now?! he repeated angrily.
All right already, settle down, said NSBFR-X, as they made their way beyond the gate.
Beyond the gate, it seemed, was a long twisting path around several temple walls. The sky above as turning a reddish hue. As they made their way towards the end of the path, they heard sounds. Sounds of metal crashing.
Well, someone certainly seems to be in a fight, said Tengu.
Lets check it out, said NSBFR-X.
They neared another gate, this one strong and durable, made of titanium. But the sight before the gate drew their attention: two robots fighting. One of them was, undoubtedly, another Ninjabot, recognized by its katana weapon, but much bigger than the other soldiers. The one was in a pitable state, its flipper buckled, and armour torn.
Hey, thats Tsunami from Series 7! said Flick. What the hell is he doing here?!
I dunno, but it looks like he needs help, said PMPY. Shall we?
Indeed, said NSBFR-X.
As they spoke, the Ninjabot turned to them.
Another set of fools chasing the renegade? I shall have to put your out of your misery too!
Bring it on! said Die-Ceratops, and they all charged at each other.
ENCOUNTER!
Fu-Ma Ninjabot
Shape: Hazard
Weight: 250kg
Speed: 25mph
Armour: 8mm titanium
Weapon: A titanium spinning blade like Hazards, shaped like two katanas, 15cm from the ground. Its spinning diameter is greater than the dimensions of its length and width.
Srimech: None.
Items in Stock
2 x Tool Kit
1 x Power Boost

Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
a dangerous machine we have there...
but considering the height of the weapon, and the lowness of Die-Ceratops wedge, and the lack of a srimech... I think we have a plan right there! perhaps the rest can prevent him from spinning up!

Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Im up for that Martijn, although Im also thinking maybe some of us ought to protect Tsunami. Anyone besides me know basic German?
Get under the Ninja-Bot and flip them.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
perhaps the lesser armoured bots stay out of the fight and protect Tsunami? I think PMPY and Tengu are best suited for that, PMPYs armour isnt the best and Tengu cant quite STALL a horizontal spinner because of its own ring.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
I have another question...you mentioned at the beginning that a Party Member can not be revived if it is completely destroyed. Which means we cant use the ReBotulizer thingy. What about the Tool Kit? Is it possible to at least give party members basic repairs? Because, if he survives, Tsunami might need it.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Ill use my anti-spinner hardox wedge and get between Ninjabot and Tsunami.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
btw, why are we so sure Ninjabot is bad and Tsunami is good?:proud:
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
1: Weve already had to fight 21 evil Ninjabots already. Go figure.
2: Kody said wed be meeting some real robots, which means good. In theory.
3: Its pure honour. Id rather destroy a fully working robot (the Ninjabot) over a wreck on wheels (Tsunami) any day.
4: I like Tsunami.

Thats why were fighting Ninjabot.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
I still think he might be a mole for us :P
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Come to think of it, that comment gave me an idea...maybe we could lure him into the aforementioned Titanium door. At the very least, itll save us a lot of trouble.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
nice one Chris, thatll get Tsunami out of danger, and given its high speed, that ninjabot is hard to control too!
I wanna do some luring, but Id rather not do it alone, that weapon looks evil :P
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Ill have to be close to him anyway. Once he crashes into and (hopefully) breaks the door open, Ill flip him up and...
A) Over.
B) Hold him there was any spinners slice his underbelly.

Yes. And you can use items on party members.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Ill help stand guard over Tsunami. Im not that quick, but Im fairly sturdy. Plus, if Fu-Ma does try to get through to the German, the spinny swords will stop on contact with my shell. That gives me a chance to safely pin the Ninjabot until the others zip over to finish it off.

The Ninjabot plowed into the six robots; PMPY, Tengu, and NSBFR-X strode past the Ninjabot towards Tsunami while Flick, Die-Ceratops, and Clawdius charged in (Clawdius towards the side to prevent the Ninjabot from getting at Tsunami as well). Die-Ceratops was the first to collide with the mercenary but the front skirt defeated him, and threw him up into the blade! As Die-Ceratops was smashed away, Clawdius drove in from the side, and clamped down on the Ninjabots side, lifting him up too. The Ninjabot let out a terrible, agonizing scream as the beak sank into 8mm titanium like nothing. It also stopped the blade from spinning up. Die-Ceratops came back now, the flipper not too bad considering that hit, and sliding under the ninjabot was ready to flip. Clawdius released him, but he was still tilted by Die-Ceratops, and trapped, yet the blade was spinning up dangerously.
Damn you! said the Ninjabot in wrath. The curse of the all gods on yo -
He never got to finish. Die-Ceratops had driven him straight into the titanium gate. It shattered, as did the Ninjabots blade, and at that moment Die-Ceratops let out a mighty toss, sending the martyr flying, right onto his back, immobile.
Well, thats something you dont see every day, said PMPY.
Now they turned to tTsunami, who looked in a pitiable state. The flipper was almost snapped right off, the armour carved up badly, and it barely could move.
Tool Kit handy, anyone? said Clawdius.
Here, grunted NSBFR-X, using one of the two they had in stock. They waited.
Suddenly, the tears seemed to be healing themselves, the flipper was going back in place, the rams were fixed, and the drive had been renewed. Tsunami did a quick little spin around to show it was capable of moving.
So, uh, what brings you to these parts? said Die-Ceratops.
There was no answer.
Um...hello?
English isnt his native language, Chris, sighed Tengu.
Yet I can speak much of it, said the German flipper foor the first time. The six jumped.
Oi, how come you didnt answer the first time, then? seethed Die-Ceratops.
I was contemplating my answer, said Tsunami. But I do see you are not allies of those people, so I will not be hostile.
Good idea, said Tengu. But Chris, er, Die-Ceratops, had a question that were all wondering. How did you get here?
I am one of the many robots that Kody sent in here to try and get the six titanium gears, said Tsunami.
Hey, youre on the same quest as us! said Flick. Were robots too, well, mostly.
He sent you too? I see, said Tsunami. Well, I think I should like to travel with you since our paths are now the same. What say you?
I say hell yeah, grinned Flick. What about you guys?
Bring im in, said Clawdius.
Eh, sure, said Tengu.
Another ally? Cool, said PMPY.
I approve, said NSBFR-X.
Definitely, said Die-Ceratops.
Thats settled, then, said Flick. Youre coming with us.
YOU HAVE ACQUIRED A NEW PARTY MEMBER: TSUNAMI!
Excellent! said Tsunami. The question is, although I am quite sure of your story, I really do not know who you are.
Clawdius explained to Tsunami whom everybody was quickly.
But we have no time to dwell on the point, said the Scotbot. Why were you trying to get in the gates?
To find that renegade I had heard about, said Tsunami.
Did you find about stuff about the renegade? said NSBFR-X.
Yes, said Tsunami with a lift of its flipper. Those enemies back there say she betrayed her clan and kindgom entirely; my guess is because they turned to evil. This is where she dwells, but she strengthened the place up when we came.
Well, lets pay her a visit then, said Flick.
Careful, we dont know what to do expect, though, said PMPY.
As they were talking, Clawdius suddenly noticed a figure rolling beyond the gate down a tunnel.
HEY! shouted Clawdius, but the figure was gone.
What is it, Steve? said Tengu.
The renegade, methinks! said Clawdius. Onward!
They made their way through the gate, and down into the tunnel, which led on for some time. After a while it breached out into a wide open space, and suddenly ended. The sight before their eyes astonished them. It was a wide chamber, but before them opened into wide arena with a floor long down below. A platform was in the midst of the space, supported by chains, and wooden posts. The only way to get there was a ramp that led right to it. Luckily, the start of the ramp was next to them.
A figure approached them from behind, and they whipped around to see yet another Ninjabot, yet something seemed different...
HOUSE ROBOT ENCOUNTER!
Name: Fu-Ma no Taki (Taki-san)
Shape: Rammstein from Battlebots
Weight: 120kg
Body Colour: Half is blood red, and the rear is navy blue.
Speed: 30mph
Armour: 10mm 7075 aircraft aluminum
Weapons: The main weapon is the front electric lifting wedge, but at the rear is a 1500rpm spinning flywheel made of hardox.
Srimech: Invertible.
Currently, Fu-Ma no Taki is not in a position to fight. Attack anyway, or hear her out?
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
I say...Hear her out, but be on guard. If we at least mentioned why were here, she may calm down completely.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
This is a fantastic idea so far and itll go from strength to strength Master-Kun. (Thats you Kody)
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
reason with her from behind the ramp would be cool
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
I vote to hear her out, this may be the renegade. Should it come down to fighting, Ill stick with the scoop and ram into the spinning bar to stall it.
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Lets hear our potential rebel out.
If she starts trouble with us, though, the others can distract her and send the stupidly fast robot into a spin. Thatll give me a chance to slip under her side and threaten to chew off her wheels if she doesnt calm down. :proud:
-
Team Zlayerz RPG: Identity Theft!
Hang on, SHE is trapped on the other side of the ramp, right?
Ill stand on the top of the ramp to close her in completely I guess, and use my good conversational skill which I forgot to put in Flicks stats :proud:
