Were staying in the travel inn near the venue .... well 10 minutes away,

Well have to arrnage to meet up on saturday night somewhere if we get packed away in time and your still around.

well, were not going to get finished until about 10:30 / 11pm.

There arent any mcdonalde nearby, or i didnt find any when i was there i think well be having good old Fish n Chips as nowhere will be serving food at that time of night.

lol weve got an old sidewinder now so ill have to force my dad not to use the vantec because its my christmas money which he spends on these bots lol

lol you should impound his computer til he gets u a decent present, its your old mans repaired bosches that blow your controller, the windings are different not alot but slightly its enough to do something to the controllers.

Good event, got some good crowds. Didnt fight(:)) but it was still very good fun!!!

great event had some good fights (tillyewe2 v dtk )2-0 to me. i can drive good but it is the flipper that lets me down not no more we have a button and my dad need to get better at it.

Well what another event on what has been a fantastic 2007 UK Tour.

When I said it was going to be two busy shows€¦€¦ I wasn€™t joking. That was one of our biggest in terms of audience.€¦more sold out shows!!! I€™m not complaining as it was a LOT of hard work which brought them there :)

2 action packed shows, Thank you to all the roboteers once again. It was lovely to see our friends from across the pond, see you next time we€™re near the ferry for you !!

Highlights of the show for me€¦

1) Storm Force winning two fights€¦. Well done WJ
2) Fluffy when it first caught fire was so funny€¦. Although my ears are still ringing from the Pyro. Wait until it makes its return in Nottingham. Bolder, Stronger, and more fluffy !!!
3) Kan Opener taking us back to the good old days of the robot wars slippy arena !

OK so another big week of PR in prep for the Final, and yet another busy two shows,
There will be an update tomorrow night ( Monday ).

Once Nottingham is out of the way, shortly after, we will be launching our 2008 UK Tour Dates, Venues, and plans for the future, I know a lot of people keep asking me.

First event Ive been to in more than 2 years, and WHAT A SHOW! Was great to get back into the game, work on a robot and drive it ofcourse ;) Thanks for that Jonno! Nice to talk to all the other old faces too! Glad to help Shane ;)
This was just what I needed to get the buzz again, so work on Gravity will start this year...
Keep that in mind when you design the roof for the arena Jonno ;)

oh, and by the way... We drove 1200 miles that weekend, so not too fussed if the event is far from a ferry :)

Great shows and fantastic audiences who were packed to the rafters (literally).
Only problem was having to explain to the kids that it wasnt me that drove Small Torque into the pit - Im going to have to start charging Geoff rent! :proud:
Looking forward to Nottingham next weekend.

I always enjoyed it. Its fun to see your robot fly around like a ragdoll when you know you just had to hurt your back getting it in the arena. :)

Ok WJ, your now the perminent driver of Storm Force.... i cant believe a series 3 machine beat off some of todays machines and won two fights !!!

Ill look forward to seeing Gravity in 2008 !! :)
