hey David, I jus sorted myself out now pretty much (jus have to pay for it), Tanto is coming stateside jus need to know a few little things:
like the availblity of the pits, basiclly im hoping to arrive a couple of days before the event, however Tanto will be in pieces and will need assembling so will it be possible for me to be at the venune on the days prior to the start of the event to put her together?

And my last little cheeky one, any chance of a lift from the airport lol, or failing that a quick price for getting from the airport to the venue.

Venue is open at 8am on Wed. Anyone can show up and start building. Mind you, thats when the arena is getting built, and the pit tables probably wont show up til 8am Thur., but you can come as early as we do.

We cant get you, sorry. Id recommend a bluevan shuttle from the airport to Ft. Mason. Around US$30.

Actually, we use a different scoring system, so Andy you just have to familiarize yourself with it. Aggression is 5 pt split and damage is a 6 point split. Id post a link to the judgin rules, but I cant find them (SUCK!) I will when I put them up on the site.

i now know that BonX (my feather) had made the cut to the final 8 and lost his fight against Billy Bob (4th in the comp) going 2-1.

still top 8 with a 1-1 competition out of 25 robots, im pleased.

only damage after fighting 3 spinners, bit of lexan missing and tiny hole in the side

Yeah, BonX got unlucky against Billy Bob. I can tell you, we were not looking forward to fighting BonX, he looked altogether too solid for comfort!
