13: Name 5 Lightweights that have appeared in Robot wars
Ellies Little Pink Bot
Typhoon Thunder
Psychosprout
Cruella
Robot The Bruce
Random guesses...
Robot the Bruce was a 80Kg heavy, and Im pretty sure Cruella was too. Ive no idea what Psychosprout weighed, but that mightve been a lightweight. Cunning Plan was probably a lightweight. What about Hard Cheese- or was that a middle? I seem to remember one series of Robot Wars had a featherweight melee. Im off to the archives...
Cunning Plan
Bugs
Krayzee Tokyo
Vector of Armageddon
WYSIWYG
cunning plan was a FW if i rember correctly
Just in case Dan got it wrong...
Ellies Little Pink Bot
Typhoon Thunder
Vector of Armageddon
Krayzee Tokyo
WYSIWYG
Yes, Cunning Plan was a feather...
AJs probably beaten me to it, unless one of the above is not a lightweight.
Ellies Little Pink Bot and Typhoon Thunder were the two lights in Extreme 2. The Lightweight melee I remember was in series 2, and involved; Slippery Strana (which won), Spartacus, Shadow Fiend, Rosebud and Damacles. Back to the old school!
...Vector and Krayzee are Featherweights too. :proud:
Oh, here, let me:
LIGHTWEIGHTS
- Typhoon Thunder
- Ellies Little Pink Bot
- Slippery Strana (RW2 champ)
- Psychosprout
- W.Y.S.I.W.Y.G.
EDIT: Thanks, John. Answer while Im ferreting after the right answer. :proud:

Next Q:
15: Who was the first robot to use the flywheel principle for a weapon
(Hint: Its not Hypno-disc or Caliban)
Daisycutter / Daisychopper (cant remember which)?
Technically it was both DaisyCutter and Wild Wild Willy, both from Series 3.
DaisyCutter had an actual vertical flywheel weapon, whereas WWW had a flywheel powered axe.
wrong on both counts. Hypno-disc does use the flywheel principle for a weapon, but it appeared before Daisycutter and Wild Willy, and Hypno-disc wasnt the first to use it. Think earlier...
