Robot Wars Extreme: The Bets Are On
Hey Chris, good tourney so far. Ill make some predictions on the next round.
Bigger Brother Vs Pussycat
Hmmm, Pussycats blade doesnt do much damage these days so my tip to win is Bigger Brother.
Kat 3 Vs King B Powerworks
King B is the ideal sort of target for an axe. Kat 3 will win easily.
Ive been doing some thinking recently, I might come back to run one last tourney, its currently in the planning stages as we speak though. Keep up the good work, Chris :)

Robot Wars Extreme: The Bets Are On
Thanks. Nice to see you again. Im writing the next two battles as we speak, so youll get updates soon.
-
Robot Wars Extreme: The Bets Are On
Bigger Brother V Pussycat for the heat Final.
-
Robot Wars Extreme: The Bets Are On
I am so sorry for the lack of updates, but Im extremely busy with college work. I still try to write these things though.
FROM BRIGHTON IN EAST SUSSEX; BIGGER BROTHER
FROM WORCHESTER; PUSSYCAT
ROBOTEERS, STAND BY.
BOOTH 1: Bigger Brother
Booth 2: Pussycat
House Robots: Growler and Shunt.
3...2...1...ACTIVATE!
And away we go with round 2 of the All Stars. Bigger Brother charges forward, but Pussycat veers away, almost toppling onto its side. Being able to run any way up will help it greatly at this stage against a weapon like Bigger Brother...as Bigger Brother flips Pussycat. And Again! Pussycat is bouncing around wildly as Bigger Brother continues to mount the pressure on it. Both robots of course were former grand finalists and runners-up in previous Robot Wars series. Pussycats blade clashs with Bigger Brothers armour...stang! Or something like that anyway. Certainly Pussycat is trying to come back. But, to be fair, its blade just isnt working against the hard as rock armour of Bigger Brother. And I cant help but think, therefore, that Pussycats double-edged blade may be the weaker weapon of the two. But still, the two keep coming forward. Bigger Brother tries to flip, but Pussycat gets away before it can do so. Theres a lot of control being shown here, neither robot is willing to give up at the moment. But now Pussycat is heading downwind of the arena, is he going for...yes he is! Hes going for the pit release button. And the pit opens up. Now the two will have to be careful of that now. The two robots clash again. And again. Pussycat hits Bigger Brothers flipper, the brother flips the cat, he spins around, the the process repeats, to give a little more description. Bigger Brother tries for another flip, but misses! Now Pussycat lunges in whilst the flipper is up, maybe trying to damage it. But it isnt working, and now Bigger Brother can take advantage... the flipper shuts on Pussycat...Bigger Brother drives...towards the pit...AND THEY BOTH GO DOWN! Both robots are in the pit. But I think youll find that Pussycat went in first.
CEASE
And yes, the judges agree! Theyve said that Pussycat hit the pit floor first, and Bigger Brother was clearly the more aggresive anyway.
Pussycat has been eliminated...and skinned!
BIGGER BROTHER GOES THROUGH.
Next up, Kat 3 vs King B Powerworks.

Robot Wars Extreme: The Bets Are On
Chris, as much as I enjoy reading these fights, they are taking a while, and would it be easier on you to just do them hypothetically? If enough people agree with me on this, then you could go ahead if you wanted to, but if you dont and other people dont, then forget it, I can wait if I have to.
-
Robot Wars Extreme: The Bets Are On
Its not that...its just that Im often busy, and/or dont have enough inspiration to write them down. Besides, Hypothetically written fights may mean questionable results.
-

Robot Wars Extreme: The Bets Are On
I wasnt pressurizing him at all, I was merley stating that the fights were taking a long time, and I thought it would just go easier for Chris to do these hypothetically and I dont think it would hurt this any since we technically arent participating, but he dosent, and thats fine with me. Read before you critize people, Tim.

Robot Wars Extreme: The Bets Are On
KAT 3 VS KING B POWERWORKS
House Robots: Sgt Bash and Sir Killalot.
As the two robots charged at each other, King B Powerworks kept driving up Kat 3s wedge. Kat 3 swung its axe, but the King was in the wrong place for the axe to have an effect, and it only knocked King B Powerworks off its body frame. King B Powerworks turned around and came in for another attack, but Kat 3 got into a more decent position and hit King B Powerworks bodyshell with its axe, causing some damage...well, a little hole anyway. Kat 3 pushed King B into an ankle-grinder, and sparks flew. Then it let go of King B Powerworks. King B came in for another attack, but only drove up Kat 3s wedge again. Kat 3 hit King Bs body again, and caused another hole. This time, it pushed King B into Sir Killalot, who picked the King up and tossed it around the arena. King B survived, and spent some time running away from Kat 3. As a last attempt, it ran into Kat 3 again, but Kat 3 hit it one more time.
CEASE.
The judges decition sent Kat 3 easily through.
I hope thatll be good enough for you. I can write these easier.

Robot Wars Extreme: The Bets Are On
Oh, screw it, this isnt working. Too much college stuff, not enough inspiration...I give up.
Its off.
-
Robot Wars Extreme: The Bets Are On
Changed my mind AGAIN! I will reveal the hypothetical results at a later date.
-
Robot Wars Extreme: The Bets Are On
I dont really believe this, but here I am again, posting on this dying (I get the sense it is anyway) forum, the final of this first All Stars clash...Bigger Brother vs Kat 3.
House Robots: Sir Killalot and Shunt.
3...2...1...ACTIVATE!
Well, I cant believe Im saying this, but let the fight begin. Bigger Brother may be the favourite...oh, but its Kat 3 getting the first hit in! The axe went straight into the armour of the Brother. It may be tough, but I think Kat 3 has the weapon strength to actually pull off a victory. Anyway, Kat 3 pulls the weapon out, allowing Bigger Brother to come forward and flip Kat 3. Kat 3 self-rights, but is flipped again by Bigger Brother. Kat self-rights yet again and runs away, I dont blame it. Bigger Brother gives chase...oh, hang on, Kat 3 just hit the pit release button. Are the team feeling THAT confident? I dont know, but they seem to be up to something. Bigger Brother flips Kat 3...ALMOST OUT OF THE ARENA! That was close. How many lives was that? But Kat 3 recovers...slams its axe into Bigger Brother again. Now it tries to pull Bigger Brother towards the pit. Bigger Brother pulls the other way. Its a tug of war here! Suddenly Bigger Brother breaks free...but charges straight into Sir Killalot! That wasnt a wise idea! Bigger Brother tries to flip the mighty monster but only ends up buckling the flipper. Killalot picks up Bigger Brother and parades it around the arena. Then with a nice little fling, Killalot throws Bigger Brother onto its back. Kat 3 moves forward to take advantage...no, I think it has already won! Bigger Brother isnt self-righting. I think the attempt to flip Sir Killalot has actually damaged its flipper (it has happened before). I think its all over! So does Kat 3! Theres the nudge that will get Bigger Brother towards the pit...and in it goes. Bigger Brother is out and Kat 3 moves on to the Grand Final.
CEASE!
Well, maybe I have inspiration now. Will I update? Youll see.

Robot Wars Extreme: The Bets Are On
Heres the inspiration ringing again. Im in full mood to finish this now. Well, Ive done most of the stats, I have to.
FROM BRAMFORD, IPSWICH; CHAOS 2
A real veteran, Chaos 2 is the grand champion of Wars 3 and 4; the ONLY robot to be able to defend its title. Its easy to see why as well. This small, nippy machine, powered by two lawn-mower engines, has one of the most feared weapon in the wars...a powerful CO2 powered flipper, capable of flipping a 5 litre oil can into the air. And to get a sense of HOW powerful it is, Chaos 2 was also the first robot to successfully flip another robot out of the arena. At 20 mph, its also one of the fastest robots in the competition, but at only 84 kilos, its easily pushed around, and the Chaos theory could soon cease to exist.
FROM LANGHEY MOOR IN COUNTY DURHAM; FIRESTORM 5
There have been many wedges in Robot Wars, but the most successful of the bunch has got to be this hot robot. Firestorm has been competing since War 3 (and its team had another robot the previous year), and has came 3rd on three occasions. Basically, its wedge shape powers under other robots, and its there that the REAL weapon comes into play, namely a powerful front hindged flipping arm, that can quite literally flip anything, AND I MEAN ANYTHING! Ask Mr Psycho, he found out personally how powerful that flipper was. If Firestorm DOES have a weakness, Id say that its the fact that it only has 2-wheel drive, so it doesnt push easily.
FROM OXFORD IN OXFORDSHIRE; TERRORHURTZ
Perhaps the most successful axe wielding robot of all, Terrorhurtz really does what it says on the tin. Its a terror, it hurts, GET USED TO IT! Terrorhurtz came a respectible 4th in War 6, but had to drop out of War 7 due to the team being unable to get it together in time. This almost trapezium shaped robot is polycarbonate armour, protected by the weapon, a HUGE double-headed axe, not for piercing, but for giving oppodents a heavy battering! Powerful, maybe, but Terrorhurtz is not really the most reliable of robots around.
FROM SOUTHAMPTON; THREE STEGS TO HEAVEN
This robot was a Grand finalist waaay back in Series 3 with Steg-O-Saw-Us. They returned with Steg 2 in Series 4, and this is their most recent machine. It may look a lot like Steg to begin with, what with the low slung, green, block-like body and all, but it becomes apparant that you dont want to get by the tail. Instead of spikes, it has a very nasty cutting blade that can quite literally shred pipe-lines. Its also very persistant, and invertable, but it isnt that reliable.
ROBOTEERS, STAND BY!
Booth 1: Chaos 2 and Terrorhurtz
Booth 2: Firestorm and 3 Stegs
House Robots: Mr Psycho and Shunt
3...2...1...ACTIVATE!
This should be interesting. Chaos 2 charges in right towards Firestorm, and flips it! Is it trying to copy the first flip out of the arena? No, Firestorm self-rights out of the way, but Chaos 2 gives chase. Firestorm gets underneath Chaos 2, but doesnt manage to flip it. Meanwhile, Terrorhurtz is bashing onto 3 Stegs to Heaven. The cutting blade is gnawing, but it is having no effect on the polycarbonate armour at all. The axe of Terrorhurtz, on the other hand, is battering the top of Stegs, with the little red plates falling off. Meanwhile, Firestorm and Chaos 2 are flipping each other back and forth. Firestorm suddenly flips Chaos 2 into Mr Psycho. Down comes the mighty hammer right onto Chaos 2s belly. Ouch! Chaos 2 self-rights, but gets hit on the head for its troubles. Meanwhile, Firestorm comes on the attack of 3 Stegs, flipping it...but is Stegs still moving? Im not too sure. Meanwhile Chaos 2 now attempts an attack on Terrorhurtz...which isnt a wise idea as Terrorhurtz starts pumbling Chaos 2! Crash! Smash! Chaos cant get under Terrorhurtzs low ground clearance. Meanwhile, Shunt is giving 3 Stegs a little nudge...I think 3 Stegs is immobilized. Refbot agrees with me and counts 3 Stegs out. 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, youre gone! The steg became extinct. Meanwhile, Terrorhurtz and Firestorm are now ganging up on Chaos 2 here it would seem. Firestorm flips Chaos 2 again. Terrorhurtz gets to pummel Chaos underbelly. Shunt, meanwhile, pushes 3 Stegs onto the floor flipper. Who thinks dinosaurs cant fly? Watch this! 3 Stegs goes flying through the air and crashes down again. Terrorhurtz scoots ahead of it and presses the pit release button. Firestorm is edging Chaos 2 towards the pit, using its flipper to prevent the former double champion from self-righting. Its going to be a sorry end, as Chaos 2 is shoved into the pit.
CEASE!
Firestorm 5 and Terrorhurtz go through.

Robot Wars Extreme: The Bets Are On
FROM SURREY: DANTOMKIA
This robot only started life in Series 6...and yet it still made it to the Semi Final of both S6 and S7, beating some nasty looking robots on the way. This compact box-wedge design is nippy, with two wedges that stick out like spikes, and the main weapon...the infamous CO2 powered flipper, the flipper that has flipped more robots out of the arena than any other robot in the histroy of Robot Wars. Capable of also spinning at speed, Dantomkia is a force to be reckoned with, but it is unreliable.
FROM ST LEONARDS-ON-SEA IN EAST SUSSEX; GEMINI
Double trouble here, literally. This is Robot Wars first and still most successful clusterbot. Entering the warzone as one, Gemini can split into two seperate machines and cause double the trouble as per normal. To make things worse, each half of the Gemini twins has a powerful flipper capable of flipping five times its own body weight. Each machine only weighs half as much as their oppodents to fit into the regulations though, and if one machine is immobilized, the whole machine is out, so will Gemini be a shooting star, or a falling star?
FROM BANBURY IN OXFORDSHIRE; HYPNO-DISC
Spin to win, thats the motto of Hypno-Disc. The most famous spinning robot ever, Hypno-Disc shocked the world when it tore armour off its first oppodent easily. The 800RPM spinning flywheel is awesome in battle, and can cut through anything, not to mention bash the insides of any unfortunate robot that gets in the way. It also has spikes and a srimech, but it has low pushing power and the wheels are exposed.
FROM EAST TILBURY IN ESSEX; SPAWN AGAIN
No robot is faster than Spawn Again, even if they wanted to. This high wedge shape robot doesnt take any competitors lying down, it has a massive flipper that not only flips long, but high. In fact, it could probably go down as one of the largest flippers in the competition. It has a high success rate as well, being a semi finalist on four occasions. However, Spawn Again is well known for its reliability problems, so it may not be long until it dies...again.
ROBOTEERS STAND BY
Booth 1: Dantomkia and Spawn Again
Booth 2: Hypno-Disc and Gemini
House Robots: Cassius Chrome and Dead Metal
3...2...1...ACTIVATE!
Hypno-Discs devilish flywheel starts spinning, as we know it will do. Its fast, and deadly. Gemini splits. Dantomkia makes a head on collision with Hypno-Disc and gets a nice little gash for its troubles. Not much though. Spawn Again comes in from the side, and flips Hypno-Disc up into the air. HypnoDisc lands a little awkwardly and falls onto its back. Gemini flips Dantomkia and Spawn Again at the same time (each twin takes one), but both self-right, as does Hypno-Disc. However, that flip stopped the disc for a bit, making Hypno a little vulnerable at this stage. Spawn Again gives it a shove to take advantage...gets it close to the arena wall...flips...BUT MISSES! Hypno-Disc just about gets away, the disc still spinning. Dantomkia and one Gemini twin clash into the side of Spawn Again. Ggemini tries to flip, but misses and flips itself. It rights, avoiding getting caught on its wheelie. Hypno-Disc hits the other Gemini twin from the side...OH, THAT WAS MORE THAN A GASH! The light armour prooved too light for Gemini. Arguably the biggest weakness of a clusterbot. Dantomkia charges in and flips that twin, which isnt self-righting. I think something happened with that flip! Hypno-Disc is now bullying Spawn Again...again. This time it hits the front...and is flipped again! The disc stops again. The Gemini half still alive flips it. Hypno-Disc self-rights...right onto Dantomkias body. Dantomkia drives Hypno-Disc to the arena wall...flips...and is MORE SUCCESFUL! Hypno-Disc are out of the arena. Meanwhile, Gemini is in serious trouble. The upside down half is still not moving and the other is being bullied by Spawn Again...who now hits the pit release button. Refbot has just moved in on the beached and I believe dead Gemini twin. It had not righted and the other one simply cant get to it. No, dont try and ride on Spawn Agains flipper to get over...I SAID DONT! NOW LOOK WHATS HAPPENED! Youve just been flipped out of the arena by Spawn Again. That just leaves the other twin to be counted out...and the fight is over. Effortless victory for Dantomkia and Spawn Again.
CEASE
Spawn Again and Dantomkia go through.
NEXT FIGHTS
Firestorm 5 vs Dantomkia
Terrorhurtz vs Spawn Again.
Nice, two grudge matches.

Robot Wars Extreme: The Bets Are On
FIRESTORM 5 VS DANTOMKIA
House Robots: Shunt and Matilda.
3...2...1...ACTIVATE!!
This should be interesting. Firestorm charges straight into Dantomkia, gets underneath and flips it onto its back straight away. Firestorm did beat Dantomkia in the second All-Stars championship...ooh, and has it won again already? Dantomkia is simply not self-righting, at all. Theres no movement. Firestorm gives it a nudge, but nothing is happening. I wonder if, when Hypno-Disc hit Dantomkia earlier, the removable link holder had been damaged, and now its completely come out. Refbot is counting Dantomkia out as Firestorm hits the pit release button. Dantomkia is counted out. Shunt advances, hits Dantomkia a few times, then pushes it into the pit. How disapointing.
CEASE
Firestorm goes through!

TERRORHURTZ vs SPAWN AGAIN
House Robots: Sir Killalot and Growler
3...2...1...ACTIVATE!
Another grudge match. Terrorhurtz beat Spawn Again in the semi-finals of Series 6, and now they have to fight Spawn Again...again. Spawn Again tries to get underneath, but the low ground clearance prevents it. Terrorhurtz fires the axe! It hits the target! But at the same time, it jumps, allowing Spawn Again to get underneath and flip Terrorhurtz over. Almost straight away though, Terrorhurtz self-rights, and comes back on the attack. It hits Spawn Again on the side numerous times, and there is very little it can do here to stop it. Spawn retreats...straight into Growler, he wont like that! Shove Spawn out of there...right into another axe blow from Terrorhurtz. Spawn Again is getting battered here with no way of actually getting underneath Terrorhurtz. Its next to obvious which way the battle should go. Terrorhurtz hits the pit release button...OH, TOO MUCH FOR SPAWN AGAIN, hes just flung himself straight into the pit, what an exit.
CEASE
Terrorhurtz goes through.
NEXT FIGHT
Firestorm 5 vs Terrorhurtz.

Robot Wars Extreme: The Bets Are On
OK, here it goes.
House Robots can be Sgt Bash and Shunt.
3...2...1...ACTIVATE!
Well, heres the second of our All Star qualifier finals. The two move out to attack, but Firestorm, thanks to its new wedge plate, is able to get clean underneath Terrorhurtz, unlike the last time they encountered. Terrorhurtz swings its axe, but misses. Firestorm drives towards the wall and fires flipper, but Terrorhurtz has scuttled free. It turns, and fires the axe, hitting the top of Firestorm, but we all know that Firestorm is fairly strong, and gets away. Terrorhurtz gives chase, as Firestorm hits the pit release button. Is it trying to get Terrorhurtz into the pit? Well, Terrorhurtz comes in again, but Firestorm drives, gets underneath again, drives further, stops...and activates the flipper which sends Terrorhurtz right into the pit! Very quick fight...OH, AND FIRESTORMS FLIPPED SGT BASH! Well, why not?
CEASE
Firestorm goes through to the All Stars final.
NEXT TIME
Tornado vs Panic Attack vs 13 Black vs Dominator 2
Razer vs X-Terminator vs Wheely Big Cheese vs Wild Thing 2.
I am determined to get this completed. Even if I go on where everyone else has finished.

I have written up the next all stars battle though. I do intend to finish at least something.

I hope so, Chris. The forum needs a big shock for people to swarm around here again.

Robot Wars Extreme: The Bets Are On
Surprise!
FROM DEELE IN KENT; DOMINATOR 2
You dont get any harder than this. Dominator 2 has competed in the UK championship three times, and has made the second round of the semi-final on all three occasions. This unique bi-wedge shape is covered in titanium apparantly used in submarines, and the weapon is an exceptinally powerful axe that can penetrate pretty much anything. However, the axe has to be facing the opposition in order to get a clean hit, which could prove difficult.
FROM CARDIFF: PANIC ATTACK
The winners of the second series of the wars, some would say Panic Attack is becoming old. Those more in the know would say it is still as persistant as ever. A low yellow box, Panic Attack is covered in real tough armour, difficult to puncture, skirts all around make it difficult to flip, and a set of powerful lifting spikes make it difficult to approach. All in all, a tough cookie, except that it has no srimech, and can be toppled.
FROM LEICESTERSHIRE; THIRTEEN BLACK
Well, you know what they say...If it aint broke, dont fix it! And thats exactly what 13 Black does, boosting not one but two, yes TWO, spinning flywheels. It also has a self-righting mechanism and the experience of a semi-final to boot. It can also run inverted, albeit hilariously. Sadly, it is unreliable.
FROM SAWTRY IN CAMBRIDGESHIRE; TORNADO
The winners of Series 6, Tornado has beaten almost every single All Star robot there is, including Chaos 2, Pussycat, Hypno-Disc and Razer. Another low, flat box on wheels, Tornado is invertible and doesnt care about being flipped at all. It also has incredible pushing power, and can push pretty much anything. Worst of all, it has an interchangable weapons section at the front, where they can put on a spinning flywheel, a wedge with flail and a lifting arm. All in all, a tough cookie...until it meets someone with similar pushing power, when at that point, all of the hard work is undone.
ROBOTEERS, STAND BY.
Booth 1: Dominator 2 and Tornado (using the scoop and chain).
Booth 2: Panic Attack and 13 Black.
House Robots: Shunt and Matilda.
3...2...1...ACTIVATE!
And theyre off. Straightaway, Dominator 2 cruises towards 13 Black and hits the body with the axe. 13 Black has been having a few problems recently, and Dominator is sensing this, hitting it again with the axe. Meanwhile, Tornado has met a head-on collision with Panic Attack. It pushes back, but is lifted up slightly when Panic Attack raises those infamous forklift prongs. But Tornado has come away from the prongs, and now hits Panic Attack from underneath, getting under the front, and pushing it around the arena, with a few sparks here and there. Meanwhile, 13 Blacks discs are spinning, as is the entire robot. Is 13 Black playing defensive? Advice for Dominator 2, dont get any closer...ooh, but Tornado is coming in from behind, and pushes Dominator 2 RIGHT INTO THE SPINNING 13 BLACK! The axe crashes down, it seems OK. Panic Attack, free from the wrath of Tornado, has a go at Dominator, whilst Tornado now pushes 13 Black towards the arena side grinders; this is an interesting battle. Panic Attack lifts Dominator 2 up and over...is the axe stuck out? I think it is! I dont think Dominator 2 will be able to self right from there. This leaves Panic Attack to see what it can do about 13 Black. Tornado, meanwhile, has hit the pit release button. The pit decends. One of these robots may end up in the pit. Dont forget, this is all for a place in the All Stars ultimate final against Kat 3 and Firestorm 5. Dominator 2 will not be one of those robots, as Refbot counts it out. Tornado makes a charge at Panic Attack meanwhile. It isnt successful, it goes up the skirts. It tries again, same result. One more time...NOW it manages, Panic Attack turned a little too early. Now Tornado starts pushing Panic Attack (with some nice sparks), which is exactly what Shunt is doing to Dominator 2, right towards the floor flipper. Itll be flying any time soon...but meanwhile, Tornado is pushing Panic Attack dangerously close to the pit! Its teetering, its tottering!...ITS DOWN, Thanks to Tornado. Panic Attack is out...and Dominator has just flown through the air, thanks to the floor flipper. Lovely.
CEASE!!
Tornado and 13 Black go through. Now for the next battle...

Robot Wars Extreme: The Bets Are On
-
Robot Wars Extreme: The Bets Are On
FROM BOURNEMOUTH IN DORSET; RAZER
A UK championship, two world championship, an annihilator, two All Star championships, the International League...quite simply, you name it, Razer has probably won it. One of the most famous robots in the world, Razer is a wedge shaped robot with one of the most feared weapons off all...a gigantic crushing hydraulic ram, that can make a hole in almost anything it gets the tip into. The claw also boosts 450 weight reducing holes and two wings which act as a srimech, so Razer is prepared for anything. It once went over 20 battles without losing as well, more than any other UK robot. Sadly, Razer is famed for being unreliable, and something is bound to happen sooner or later.
FROM LANGPORT IN SOMERSET; WHEELY BIG CHEESE
Mention flipper, and this may come up straight away. Ask anyone...except Axe Awe. Why? Because Wheely Big Cheese is just about the most formidible flipper EVER in the wars. It is big, and it shows. Not only can it through robots six feet in the air, it once flipped a robot out of the arena from halfway across the arena! The armour is titanium and the giant wheels are covered in golf shoe studs. However, we have another unreliable robot and the wheels are exposed.
FROM ASH IN HAMPSHIRE; WILD THING 2
Previously entering a wedge shaped robot, Wild Thing 2 couldnt be more different. It could be described as more of an arrow shaped robot, broader at the back than at the front. It can run inverted and it has a nasty vertical disc to cut oppodents down to size. It also has a secret weapon...staying power. A high endurance level means that, even if it cant beat the oppodent outright, it can probably outlast them in a fight, making it a real warrior. The wheels are exposed to attacks though.
FROM BELMONT IN HERIFORDSHIRE; X-TERMINATOR
Will it Exterminate...Exterminate...the opposition here? Coming fourth in the 7th series of Robot Wars, it may well do. X-Terminator is a large robot with a formidable weapon, a very large front flywheel capable of tearing fellow robots apart in the blink of an eye. It is compact as well, and hard to damage. However, it is slow at 9mph, and although it has a srimech to get it off of its side, the back is unprotected, and any flipper to get it on there could win the match.
ROBOTEERS, STAND BY.
Booth 1: Razer, Wild Thing 2.
Booth 2: Wheely Big Cheese, X-Terminator.
House Robots: Mr Psycho and Cassius Chrome.
3...2...1...ACTIVATE
And off we go, with the last of our four-way melees. Dont forget, we have a former All Star champion in the mix...said champion getting to grips straight away with Wild Thing 2. Maybe it senses that it is the weakest out there. X-Terminator has that huge vertical flywheel, but it doesnt want to get involved with Wheely Big Cheeses huge flipper. Razer, meanwhile, changing its grip, and going straight for the tyres of Wild Thing! X-Terminator, meanwhile, hits the pit release button. Maybe it senses that it needs to get rid of the others early. Wheely Big Cheese attacks Razer and Wild Thing from behind and...WOAH!! The two go flying! That must have been 10ft into the air, and back down again with a mega crash! Razer and Wild Thing end up tumbling like two crabs fighting on a beach, but the main worry here must be...how much damage have the electronics taken? Well, Razer tries to self-right, but with Wild Thing stuck on its claw, its a difficult task. X-Terminator comes in...BASHES THE TWO OF THEM! Something flew off...I think Wild Thing. Wild Thing is also dislodged from Razer, and heads off in Wheely Big Cheeses direction, as Razer finally self-rights. Id be careful of that X-Terminator weapon Razer team. And Razer take my advice...they beat it. But this is very surprising for the former All Star, World, Annihilator and UK champion...theyre behind and they know it. Now, Wild Thing 2 goes back to attack the side of X-Terminator. The two have fought before and Wild Thing was the victor. But Wheely Big Cheese now flips Wild Thing 2...10 FEET INTO THE AIR AND DOWN AGAIN! This is scary...OH, AND WHEELY BIG CHEESE IS NOW BEING ATTACKED BY X-TERMINATOR! Is that what they were waiting for? Does X-Terminator think that Wheely Big Cheese could be their biggest threat? Remember, I said at the beginning, X-Terminator can not self-right from its back. It HAS to land on its side. And now, its flipped Wheely Big Cheese with its flywheel...OH, AND LOOK AT THAT!! OK, youll have to imagine it, BUT THE DISC HAS NOW BUCKLED WHEELY BIG CHEESES AXLE! That is seriously going to hinder the cheeses hopes now. Meanwhile, Razer goes for another attack on Wild Thing 2. Desperate times call for desperate measures. X-Terminator is WRECKING Wheely Big Cheese! This is now getting serious. I dont think Wheely Big Cheese is now actually moving. I think the damage has been done. Refbots having a check. Razer, meanwhile, has pushed Wild Thing 2 into Mr Psycho! Psycho is, indeed, our very own wild thing out there. He picks up Wild Thing 2 with his massive claw, parades him around the arena. Theres damage everywhere on the Wild Thing machine. Wheely Big Cheese, however, is being counted out. It was a bright start, but now look. A sorry mess on the warzone floor. Mr Psycho drops Wild Thing 2 onto the flame pit, but look at that, driving away...RIGHT ONTO X-TERMINATORS FLYWHEEL! The top panel has been torn clean away! Refbot finally counts out Wheely Big Cheese. Cassius Chrome now moves the cheese towards the pit. Razer has a grip on the now limping Wild Thing 2 meanwhile. In comes X-Terminator, onto Razer...OH NO!! THE SIDE PANEL HAS BEEN TORN CLEAN OFF OF RAZER!! THIS ISNT FAIR! X-Terminator, you cant do this! In the background, Cassius Chrome has finally pitted Wheely Big Cheese...OH, X-TERMINATORS NOW TORN RIGHT INTO WILD THING 2! Its almost torn in half! The disc is hanging limp! I think a tyres been shredded. Times now running out, theres no movement in either Razer or Wild Thing 2. Stripped bare. X-Terminator spin in delight. They know theyve won. But who goes through with them?
