Not likely Dave but I can always hope!
What is the weather prediction for tomorrow? It depends on the heavy snow tomorrow, to decide if i can come or not.
snow according to http://www.weather.co.ukwww.weather.co.uk
Weer voor Folkstone is niet te slecht...Koud, met gelegenhied nat sneeuw.
(Sorry about the poor Dutch!)
Ok thanks thats good to know. And your Dutch aint that bad. Ill see tomorrow how the weather will be. Im can take the pickup now if i want. Has better grip on snow.

Yet another good event from Roaming Robots. Alice worked really well and almost felt competative. Many congratulations to Stiff Breeze and Kronic on their wins. Really good fun, well done all.
This was a great event and congratulations to Stiff Breeze and Kronic on winning the winter tour. It was great fun and everyone enjoyed themselves, including the crowd.
Looking forward to next year, may it be as good as this one has been.
Just got back - great event guys, good fun - and thanks to the Kronic boys for making sure that we can say we got knocked out of the competition by the eventual winners.... always sounds better :)
Weve been putting off some fairly substantial upgrade work to Storm II till the end of the year, which means I guess weve run out of excuses so expect to see a far more competitive version for 2006, plus a Mini Storm II featherweight.
Heres to 2006 !

Again congrats to Stiff Breeze and Kronic on their wins. Great event and great crowd for all 3 shows.
Pillow was the victim of a couple of dubious decisions over the weekend  but we managed to achieve what weve been trying to do since Billings and that was to jump the pit :)
Look forward to a better 2006.
Congrats to Kronic and Stiff Breeze from Team Turbine. Thanks all for a very good event best one of the year by some way for us. Turbulence did quite well and have now figured out what we need to do before next year to make it competative.
Ed, Dave and Becky
Congrats to Kronic and Stiff Breeze

Shame i couldnt be there, but this time the dutch event had priority in order to keep european interest alive. I sure hope to be there next time.

Well done to everyone involved you all know who you are.
I honesty thought Stiff Breeze would be making up the numbers in the finals ,it just goes to show how your luck can change.
Were taking a few months off to get some new robots finished and some started (Heavy ?) plus a few other things ive been putting off for a while .
So we should see you all in the spring.
:)GORD
Well done to Stiff Breeze and Kronic! I had a nice weekend, even though i had some bad luck.
So my car got locked inside a supermarketcarpark. There was no way to get to my car, cos of the big steel doors. Nobody to see around there and no emergancynumber and even no openingtimes.
The manager of the Leas cliff Hall called the security company they hired, but that company didnt guard the carpark. Then he tried to contact someone from the citycouncel, but they where not responsable for the carpark aswell. Bugs and i walked back to the supermarket and we found a phonenumber of a security company. After that we walked to the policestation. It was closed but there was a phone to call the central?. The lady called the number we had, but that number didnt work. She contacted the policecars but they had no idea aswell. The data they had about the carpark keykeeper wasnt correct.
In meanwhile we already took a hotelroom in the langhorn garden hotel. We got some discount and included a warm breakfast. With discount it was a few pounds cheaper then the lismore and a much nicer hotel. When we went out to find some food we walked past the Leas cliff hall carpark. Somehow we drove past it without seeing it.
The next day breakfast at 8. Then walked to the carpark, and it was open!!!!! yay. There was noone at the ticketservice so we could drive out without paying again. Same on saterday. No wheelclamp or a ticket at the window.
We parked in front of the leas cliff hall and they already new we were comming to pick up our robot. I must say that was well arranged by the management.
We took the 10.30 ferry and got home around 15.45 local time. The sea was calm and not much rain when driving home.
Glad it all worked out eventually for you. Unfortunately John Reid had already left - THz might have given them big steel doors a seeing to
WooHoo, Storm II won the featherweight class.... or was is Stiff Breeze, either way it put a smile on my face.
.... Ill be sending you the invoice for the royalty on the image rights, and the rental of my speed controller that you used to win with Gordon ;)
Congratulations !
