WHAT KIND OF STUPID SICK INDIVIDUAL WOULD DO SUCH A THING!!!!! MUST...KILL!!!!
*calms down*
Well, I can admit now, it was DEFINATLY not me. I dont know the first thing about MSN.
Neither do I. My sisters an expert, but I very much doubt it was her.
Im very happy that this tourny isnt really ending, Steven. But to whoever pretended to be Steven, that was a stupid and childish thing to do, so please dont do it again.
OK, Im a lot calmer than I was last night and have spoken with Lord Roper about his talk with the perpetrators.
Names will not be named and no bannings will be enforced, but I will say how deeply disappointed I am in those people for impersonating myself just for a cheap prank. It not only insulted myself and the person it was actually targeted it, but to the whole point of the tournament in the first place. My sincerest apologies to those falsely accused, especially Mr Sheppard.
Thank you and good morning. 3 places left, so keep those stats coming.
In a mistake on my part in editing the stats for my shw SWOM i forgot to add the extra ram for the flipper it uses 2 not just the 1 now.
Also Kitten Kitten 2 isnt invertible as the shuffelers wouldnt work inverted, the flipepr can selfright the robot still to selfright
Stats for keep on panicking up asap
So it wasnt Dave?
*moan of disbelief*
Now Ive just realised how overblown the weight limits are for the other classes. Altered limits here:
FEATHERWEIGHTS
- 12kg for wheeled/tracked robots
- 15kg for shufflers/misc
- 18kg for €˜true€™ walkers
LIGHTWEIGHTS
- 28kg for wheeled/tracked robots
- 35kg for shufflers/misc
- 42kg for €˜true€™ walkers
MIDDLEWEIGHTS
- 55kg for wheeled/tracked robots
- 69kg for shufflers/misc
- 83kg for €˜true€™ walkers
SUPERHEAVYWEIGHTS
- 155kg for for wheeled/tracked robots
- 194kg for shufflers/misc
- 233kg for €˜true€™ walkers
Soz for any more inconvience, people :)
Damn, I was going to make a feather walker with a 30kg shell :P
Can my new feather weight be DTK
Ah, so it WASNT Dave. My apologies Dave, it just seemed obvious.
STEVE SEZ:
And with that minor fiasco laid to rest at last, we can all get back to normal and continue with entries. Sorry bout that, folks :)

13 places taken, 3 places remaining, many stats needed. If anyone sees Frank Goacher, Matty McDonald and Dave Weston, poke them in this direction, OK?
I want to enter, but Im not really sure my vapours are up to the competativeness they once were, that, and I dont want to risk starting any arguments like I did in prior to the Son Of Ripper 3.5 vs Bulldog Breed battle in the second series semi. So, Im not sure Im quite ready to compete again to be honest. :S
Im not really sure my vapours are up to the competativeness they once were
I feel the same way everytimes I enter won of these shindigs!
lol, actually, I will enter, save me a spot.
Yay! :proud::proud::proud: Only 2 more people to enter now!
Oops....I just saw the No pasive bots rule.
SO, replace A Vapour Called Frank with Shovearound 2.
Ok, here we go, BTW, I must give a HUGE thanks to Daniel for helping me out with improving my robot line-up! :)

Shovearound 2 stats changed slightly...
Name: Shovearound 2
Weight: 100kg
Armor: The framework is 7mm hardox. The outer shell is made out of 8mm hardox. The forks are about 100mm long and are made out of 13mm allunimum. Each hinged skirt is 7mm titanium.
Speed: 25mph[geared towards acelleration]
Weapon: Lifting forks that can lift 100kg
Srimech: Invertible, so whats the point?
Dimensions in centimeters [LWH] 140/60/5
Power: Driven by 48v Astroflights geared at 25:1, it uses 4 12 volt battlepacks, giving it 48 volts total.
Ground Clearence: 0mm around the hinged skirts, 0mm at the front of the lifting forks. Also, from the front sides, there are now small, thinner hhinged wedges than the side skirts. These assist in getting under the oppoment first, so it is hard for their wheels to move, and then the lifting rack takes them off the ground, ready for a trip around the arena. Also, it makes a good backup if the lifting rack dies on me during the match, or if the rear skirt is torn off. Also, it makes Shovearound nearly impossible to get under now.
Note: To prevent shock damage, a large shock-absorbing pad is wraspped around the intertinals.
Strengths: Fast, low, well armored, a great all-around pusher.
Weaknesses: below average torque, completly useless in a arena with no hazards

Featherweight
Name: Susan
Shape: Invertable rectangle
Weight: ~12 KGs
Top speed: 10 MPH
Ground clearance: 5 mm all around. No skirts.
Weapons: Two flywheels, one at either end. One is nearer the bottom, the other is nearer the top. These are made of Titanium and spin at 1000 RPM. These use independent motors, so if one breaks the other can still be used.
Armour: 2 mm grade 5 Ti.
Srimech: Invertible.
Wheels: Two wheels, in the centre of the robot. Four castors keep the machine level at all times.
Motors: Wheels and disks powered by electric drill motors. The wheels are at 12 volts and the disks are at 24.
Strengths: Tough armour and damaging weaponry. Can spin on the spot to become an FBS.
Weaknesses: Can be flipped, no skirts and fairly low top speed.
Lightweight
Name: ISAW some more (I Saw A Wedge)
Shape: Low wedge (I.e Firestorm)
Speed: 12 MPH
Weapon1: Static wedge made of 3.25 mm hardox with some weight reducing holes.
Weapon 1: A saw blade embedded in the front wedge. This spins at 2000 RPM in an upward direction, so anything running up the wedge gets dragged up by the force of the saw and gets a nice long slash right up the underbelly. The saw is powered by an S28-150 Magmotor at 24 volts.
Armour: 3 mm Aluminium
Srimech: Won€™t rest of sides due to shape, and an electric lifter on the rear can self right it.
Ground clearance: 0 all over due to wedge and skirts. Under the skirts it€™s variable from 0 at the wedge to 5 mm at the rear.
Drive: 4 RC wheels with good traction, driven by two S28-150 Magmotors at 24 volts.
Strengths: Sneaky weaponry, it can destroy an opponent€™s drive with enough attacks, good shoving power and hard to flip.
Weaknesses: Needs to turn off the saw before it can self right, fairly weak armour.
Middleweight
Name: Goldbug
Shape: Cylindrical, but with a rounded top.
Ground clearance: 5 mm everywhere except at the flipper, which is 0.
Weapon 1: Front flipper, with a flat extension plate with two spike/prongs to the side. The extension should allow it to get under most FBS€™ without too much risk, while the prongs allow it to get robots wheels off the ground while it€™s pushing. Will provide a diagram if needed. This runs at 150 PSI.
Weapon 2: Spins on the spot to become an FBS. This isn€™t seriously damaging, but the idea is to knock pushing robots away.
Armour: 4 mm Titanium, painted gold.
Drive: Four wheel drive, powered by two S28-150s on 24 volts. The wheels are made of one piece of metal each, and have thick rubber glued around to give traction, like on The Disc.
Max speed: 14 MPH
Shrimech: The flipper. The rounded top should make self righting easier.
Strengths: Good weapon, decent armour, potentially 360 degrees attack, immune to punctures and wooty paint job.
Weaknesses: Limited flips, no skirts.
Heavyweight 1
Yes, its now real and living in a shed in Swansea, I give you:
Name: The Crashing Bore
Shape: Box at the back with a low wedge at the front. The wedge is at a smaller angle than before, giving it a slightly longer €œnose€Â, plus it now has a CM long extension on the front which goes flat along the ground, allowing it to get under anything, skirted or otherwise.
Speed: Not sure seeing we haven€™t measured it, but pretty fast.
Weight: ~97 KGs
Ground clearance: 0 at front and sides due to wedge and skirts, about 1-1.5 CM-ish about the sides and back.
Weapon 1: A mousetrap style blade, only instead of a flat piece of metal, it€™s jagged like ^^^^^^^, meaning instead of one big blade, it comes down as lots of little points meaning it can do more damage thanks to the area/damage ratio rule. I have no idea how much this can be fired before running out of gas, but it€™s using a fairly low pressured system, so call it 35-40. After firing with the pneumatics, it then uses two linear actuators to crunch in a little bit more. This is much less powerful than the vapour €˜bot version, being designed to grip rather than destroy.
Weapon 2: The front wedge is now a rear hinged lifter, which acts with the trap allowing the robot to grapple and lift opponents like Mantis or Complete Control. A counterweight in the rear end of the machine stops it falling flat on its features.
Weapon 3: I€™m not sure what we€™re doing with the drill, if anything so it won€™t be in this version.
Armour: 3 mm checker plate aluminium over a Titanium chassis.
Srimech: The trap.
Motivation: Four wheel drive, running off two motors. I can€™t remember what the motors are exactly, but they€™re 750 watts, powered at 24 volts and provide a drive of 3 HP.
Strengths: Can trap and lift opponents, so we can shove them around without comeback.
Weaknesses: Actually made with things like a budget in mind, so will probably struggle against the vapour €˜bots which aren€™t. It€™s mostly made out of things my team mate had lying around.
Heavyweight 2
Name: Enter The May Tracks
Shape: Like Comengetorix, but with more of a wedge on the front.
Size: 130X60X18 CM (LWH)
Speed: 20 MPH
Weapon: Rear hinged flipper, powered by two 80X140 rams on 150 PSI. It has a flat extension plate, extending the front by 2 CM, and allowing it to defeat most skirts. It has a recycler system as well, theoretically giving it unlimited fire power. The sunglasses are made of metal, and are attached to the top of the flipper to stop robots going straight over the top like Storm 2 did with Firestorm.
Armour: 3.25 MM hardox.
Mobility: Steel tracks, with rubber strips glued in place to provide traction. These are hidden inside the robot, meaning only an axe can attack them, after flipping the machine. As there are very few Axe/flipper combos I should be safe from this:) If I have to go up ramps, I can remove some hardox plates to expose the tracks and make it extremely manoeuvrable as only a tracked machine can be,
Motors: 2 S28-400 Mags at 24 volts.
Ground clearance: 0 at front, 5 at back and sides.
Strengths: Good traction, has a lot of flips, and all-round toughness. It can keep going on and on and on and on and€¦
Weaknesses: Tracks are exposed when flipped,
Heavyweight 3
Name: I.D.S.F.A
Shape: Similar to Raging Knightmare..
Weight: 100 KGs
Speed: 20 MPH
GC: 0 at front, 1 CM at back and sides. 0 with skirts at back and sides.
Drive: 4 wheel drive, powered by two LEM 130 Lynch motors at 48 volts.
Weapon 1: A front hinged flipper on the front, using two 120 stroke, 80 bore rams on 250 PSI. Don€™t know how much it should be able to tip over, but should manage other robots fine. There is a lead weight bolted inside the machine in the far front to give it a little weight and ensure it can get under other machines, along with a sharp strip on the front to let it slide under skirts. There is also a speed bump on the end of the flipper to make sure fast robots like Storm 2 can€™t just drive straight over it.
Weapon 2: A rear steel horizontal disc. This weighs in at 15 KGs, and deals out 10 KJ€™s.
Armour: The front flipper plate is made of 4 MM hardox, and the rest of the machine is 4 MM grade 5 Ti.
Skirts: Made of 3 mm Grade 5 Ti. These are held down with springs, but not the dual sprung monsters as seen on SpinVerter. Just regular springs like on Storm 2 to make them a little harder to get under than regular hinged skirts.
Srimech: The flipper. The weight installed in the front of the machine makes sure it rests on the flipper and not on its back, for more efficient self righting.
Strengths: Fast drive and good flipper mean it could get under and throw over opponents before they can even move.
Weaknesses: Armour and rear flywheel compromised for weight.
Heavyweight 4
Name: NSBFR X (Never Seen Before Fic Robot X)
Shape: Invertible box wedge with rounded sides, plus side and rear skirts.
Weight: Dependant on weapon set-up, but the heaviest is 100 KGs
Speed: 20 MPH
Weapons: Interchangeable weapons selected from the below list:
1: Basic horizontal 5 KG spinning bar. This goes around at 1500 RPM.
2: Electric 4 mm hardox pincers with weight reducing holes. These have 5 CM soft compound rubber pads on the tips, and are used against FBS€™
3: The classic solid hardox scoop with controlling latch, weighing in at a massive 20 KG€™s. Mainly used against flywheel wielding nasties.
4: Electric lifting plate, able to tip over 150 KG€™s€¦ I€™m sure I can find a few things to use this on:)
5: 12 KG spinning drum spinning at 3500 RPM, powered by a LEM-130 (my favouritest spinner motor:)) at 48 volts. Probably won€™t damage much, but could tip some robots over.
Weapon attachment method: I have changed this. First off the weapons are slotted on, and a 1.5 CM titanium locking bar is pushed through the side of the machine, and then held in position with two 5 mm hardox bolts. The under-section of the weapon is then attached with more bolts, holding it on very firmly and should prevent the weapon from being torn off (which as far as I know never happened, but no sense taking chances).
Armour: 5 mm grade 5 ti.
Ground clearance: 0 at the front no matter which wedge is being used. 4 mm at the side, and 6 mm at the rear. If using the pincers, the front GC is 4 mm. The skirts give it 0 mm all round, and are hinged so flop over when flipped.
Wheels: 4 indoor go-kart wheels which are stuffed rather than pumped.
Motors: 2 LEM 130€™s powered at 48 volts.
Srimech: Invertible.
Safety link: Under a hatch at the rear.
Strengths: Good armour, interchangeable weapons. Quick.
Weaknesses: May not perform as well in melees. Might still be possible for weapons to come off mid-fight, but I doubt it€™ll happen.
Heavyweight 5
Name: Starstorm 2
Shape: Dome, with a spike on top in the centre to allow it to self right.
Colour: Black with stars painted on.
Weapon: Full body flipper. It uses three 80 bore X 160 stroke rams, powered on 500 PSI. When the weapon fires, the entire lid of the robot shoots upwards. The aim of this robot is: Shoot it high, watch it die. Because of the shape it€™s likely to throw opponents up rather than long, meaning a high drop but it will land near me, so with decent driving I can keep getting under them as they fall. Won€™t be able to OOTA unless pretty close to the wall though:sad:
Weapon 2, more or less: Four skirts completely surround the machine. These can be raised and lowered using linear actuators. They€™re raised when cruising, but when I want to get under something, the skirt in question is lowered as I attack, allowing me to slide under nicely. The skirts can also be lowered as a defence mechanism. When lowered fully, the skirts go flat against the floor, so most wedges will go straight over and onto the dome, and can then be launched.
Armour: 4 mm hardox with weight reducing holes for the dome, 3.25 hardox for the skirts and 6 mm Polycarb for the base.
Drive: Four wheel drive, powered by two S28-400 Magmotors.
Ground clearance: Variable depending on skirt level. Minimum is 0 mm, maximum is 5 mm. Under the front and rear GC though are rollers, allowing it to move up and down ramps easily.
Turning circle: 0.
Srimech: The lid will tip it over. Thanks to the spike, this will work 100% of the time.
Extras: Contains Tempest level shock absorption.
Safety link: The top spike.
Strengths: Hopefully very high powered flipper, reliable, tough armour. The shape of the armour will make spinners glance off rather than actually damaging it. Also 360 degree offensive/defensive capability.
Weaknesses: Can be out-pushed, and like any totally new ideas I€™m only 50% sure it€™ll work. Also thanks to the flipping method, opponents will likely go up high, but not along very much so may struggle OOTA-ing a bit.
Heavyweight 6
Name: Tempest: Evil-er-oution
Shape: Disc shaped
Weight: ~100 KGs
Size: 65 x 20 CM (DH)
Speed: 15 MPH
Ground clearance: 1 CM all round
Motors: The two wheels are powered by S28-300 Magmotors at 24 volts, but the weapon is powered by a LEM 130 Lynch motor at 48 volts. These are powered by battlepack NiCDs.
Wheels: Two. These have only semi-good traction, to prevent it staying near the opponent after striking. Again, they€™re stuffed instead of pumped.
Weapon: Full body spinner, can reach speeds of 2000 RPM. It now has interchangeable tooth options. Options 1,2 and 3 have four teeth, and are the classic backward hook shape, while option 4 has two and are flatter.
Option 1: Short 2 CM cutting teeth, for robots with weak armour and no wedge. I€™m not expecting to use these much.
Option 2: These are basic 6 CM teeth. These should still give Tempest enough range to out-strike other spinners and hit wedges before they get in under the main body.
Option 3: This is a set of 15.5 CM teeth. Used for shallow wedges and spinners with longer teeth.
Option 4: Two 25 CM teeth, running as close to the floor as possible. These are used against machines with high GC€™s, enabling it to chop up the wheels and damage the drive chain better. Like option 1, I€™m not expecting to use these much, but y€™never know.
Armour: 8 mm grade 5 Ti for the rim, 1 CM Aluminium at the top and bottom.
Srimech: Runs either way up. If the weapon is running, it cant stay on its side.
Extras: Deliberately bounces off of things it hits, so that its just about impossible to push, and also has time to spin up to a damaging speed again. There is rubber tape at all places where two pieces of metal join, and it has rubber shock pads mounted at strategic places on the inside, and the important components are foam mounted, allowing it to absorb its own impacts very well.
Safety link: In the centre of the machine, accessible at both top and bottom thanks to panels.
Strengths: Damaging weapon, it€™s very reliable, is hard to predict and cannot be shoved around.
Weaknesses: Is also pretty hard to control because I€™ll never know exactly where it lands. Wheels are exposed to axes, but are stuffed so won€™t take too much damage from them.
Heayweight 7
Name: The Disc 5
Shape: It€™s still the €œbar-bell of doom€ shape we€™ve all come to know and€¦ Know. The framework around the disc itself is gone now, for two reasons. First off, people had trouble imagining what shape it was and kept thinking they could effectively latch on to it, and secondly because€¦ Well, basically the weapon itself is more or less indestructible anyway so I may as well save some weight. Anything powerful enough to damage the disc won€™t be put off by Ti bars. It still has the side spikes, but these are no longer the removable links.
Size: 60X110X60 CM (LWH)
Weight: ~100 KGs
Speed: 10 MPH.
Ground clearance: Under the wheel protectors, it€™s 5 mm.
Weapon: 27 KG spinning disc, powered by one LEM 130 Lynch motor and going at 2500 RPM. What€™s so special about this new version is€¦ It has no teeth! Rather, it has no detachable teeth. Instead, the teeth are actually a part of the disc itself, so it would have to be shaped specially. The energy output is 36 KJ€™s which, while modest by vapour €˜bot standards should still be enough to make a mess of things.
Weapon 2: The outer axle the disc is attached to now also spins along with the disc. This has several little tungsten spikes for teeth, but it€™s more a defensive feature than an offensive one€¦ Try grabbing hold of that:proud:
Wheels: Shock horror€¦ It now technically has six wheel drive, although it only runs on four at a time. In an idea stol€¦ borrowed from Gigavirus, there are three wheels on each side, and they are arranged in a triangular fashion, so when it€™s flipped it will inevitably land on two. It can€™t balance on just one, as the weight will drag it over. Now it actually has something to push against as it stops, it becomes as easy to control as anything can be with a huge gyroscopic force in the middle of it. The wheels are made of 1 CM solid grade 5 Ti. Wrapped and glued around that is 3 CMs of soft compound rubber, allowing it to squish downwards a bit and absorb its own hits, and around all of that are vulcanore (or however you spell it) rubber tyres to provide traction. These are protected from disc attacks by two semi-circular wheel guards, so each wheel unit still looks like a ball.
Chassis: The main chassis consists of one solitary 1 CM thick 4 mm box section hardox bar. Slotted over that is a secondary axle, inside which are the batteries. There are also two other triangular chassis€™ supporting the wheels. These are made from 4 MM 1 CM box section Ti bars with weight reducing holes.
Armour: The true axle and chassis is a 4 MM hardox bar. The battery axle is 5 mm aluminium. The semi circular wheel protectors and side spikes are 6 mm grade 5 Ti. The disc itself is 2.25 CM€™s of Titanium, and the spinning axle is 4 mm grade 5 Ti.
Srimech: Totally invertible. Controls won€™t even have to be reversed after flipping, meaning it can just go straight back on the attack.
Drive: 2 S28-400 Magmotors at 24 volts.
Safety links: It still needs two. These are at the very ends of the battery axle, accessible by holes next to the spinning axle. Technically it€™s possible to hit these with a toothpick style axe, but in the middle of a battle, when both robots are moving around and you€™re in a control pod at least 20 feet away€¦ Well, it€™s not going to happen.
Strengths: Very hard to hit, and hits very hard. Also thanks to the new wheels, it€™s about as controllable as something can be when it€™s got a gyroscopic force smack bang in the middle of it. Also thanks to the shape of the wheels, other spinners shouldn€™t be able to hurt it as much.
Weaknesses: To be honest I€™m not sure€¦ I haven€™t kill analysed this new version as much as the old version, so it may still be possible to surprise me with strategies I haven€™t thought of a good counter for:wink:
Yes I know: It€™s possible to avoid the weapon by being too wide to get in between the wheels. This is not a weakness, as it€™s extremely hard to effectively exploit. If you€™re a box, you€™ll still have corners I can go for, and will likely have to have thin armour or go overweight. If you€™re round, there€™ll always be a bit I can hit thanks to your shape. Anyway it€™s as long as rules allow€¦ So quit asking me about it.
Heavyweight 8
And finally my most bestest creation ever... FEAR:
Name: Another Twist of Fate
Shape: Typhoon shaped. Sort of The basic shape is like that of Typhoon.
Speed: 15 MPH.
Turning circle: 0
Ground clearance: The basic GC is 1 CM.
Drive: four wheeled drive for stability. These are powered by two S28-400 Magmotors on 24 volts, providing a nicely powerful yet reliable drive.
Weapon: It€™s a *deep breath* full body spinning corkscrew flipper:proud: It has one blade that extends from a 4 MM GC and continues all the way around the machine in a corkscrew fashion, so anything the blade slips under should be lifted up as the machine spins and then tipped over:proud: €¦Or it might just be tossed into the far horizon, and it should be a good wheel killer too. I have no idea if this will work but if it does it would be so€¦ Freaking€¦ COOL:proud: The corkscrew is made of 5 MM hardened steel so it shouldn€™t bend under the weight. The corkscrew is carefully positioned to provide its own counterweight, but there is a hardox block directly opposite the main getting under blade to offset the weight of that, so no crazy gyro dances here. If an opponent has too low a GC for this to get under, or has skirts, the fact it provides exactly 50-60-ish KJ€™s is my answer. This is driven by two LEM-130€™s on 48 volts, so if any debris gets in the way it should just punt it into the far horizon.
€œWeapon€ 2 - For assault courses and the like, the corkscrew top can be removed for another dome with a 2 CM GC, and a front roller allowing it to travel up ramps and around slopes with the greatest of ease.
Armour: 5 mm Titanium/Vandium alloy. Should take a lot of blows to stop this.
Srimech: Technically none, but it might be able to push itself upright by spinning. That€™s if it doesn€™t burrow through the floor first:proud:
Skirts: Like all the girls I€™ve ever gone out with, it doesn€™t like wearing skirts.
Notes: I think I€™ve finally snapped:crazy:.
Strengths: It€™s€¦ Unique. Packs a decent punch if the flipping thing doesn€™t work out.
Weaknesses: Design is untested to say the least. Also probably won€™t self right.
Superheavy
Due to the 155 Kg limit which I dont really understand the reason for, but whatever, I dont have a legal superheavy and as all BB heavies are around 200 KGs I cant enter one of those, I need time to design one. Will be in when it gets done.

15 places taken, 1 place remaining, many stats needed. If anyone sees Mr Weston online, do give him a little reminder, eh? :)
Just been on MSN with my team-mate.
The drill is gone seeing we cant figure out how to make it work with the lifter.
The motors are Iskra 750s.
can i just say that toro, minion and diesector are all over weight as the bb shw limit is 440lbs (200kg) and most of them are over the 155kg limit which is the wheeled shw ptt5 limit
OK, Ill try and find a Super Heavyweight that doesnt go overweight, because Im not very good at creating vapours outside the heavyweight version.
By the way steve if you draw a certain tow machines into the same heat you shall get glared into the next century. You know who I mean.
*Rolls Eyes*
Im back from Canada to find confusion and mess, and people saying that I have done crimes against computers even though the past week I only had access to an internet cafe for one hour to check my emails on wednesday, and my desktop Pc was unplugged and laptop locked up without a battery, so it couldnt have been hackers.
What people come up with to kick someone who is trying to stand back up, I guess you havent seen everything ever.
Me
ORKA MK4
Weight: 100 kilos
Body Shape: Behemoth
Speed: Some 15mph
TC: 0
GC: 2mm, 0mm at front.
Wheels; 6 inner
Armour; 7mm titanium
Power; 3x 12v batteries, powered by a couple of Magmotors
Colour; Black with white patches
Weapons; A Behemoth like bucket scoop, made from titanium, and quite capable of lifting 300 kilos. It has a claw like device to grab an oppodent, like the claw on Mantis. The scoop is pnumatically powered, and has about 45 odd flips.
Srimech: It has a dorsal fin on top used for self-righting
Inspiration; Ive always liked Orcas. Adding the K made it sound more dangerous.
Strengths; Weapon
Weaknessess: Hard to turn
LEPROSY INFECTION
Weight; 100 kilos
Body Shape; Tetanus Booster
Speed; 18mph
TC; 0
GC; 2mm
Wheels; 4 inner, top sticking out. Wheel flaps are situated either side of the wheel to protect them.
Armour; 7mm titanium
Power; 3x 12v batteries, powered by a couple of Magmotors
Colour; A disgusting shade of lime green.
Weapons; A very large, very dangerous vertical drum, capable of reaching speeds of 4000rpm. The teeth on the drum are curved upwards so they can flip as well as damage and very sharp at the tip. There is a reason for this...
Srimech; The robot is invertable. Bars along the side and back prevent stranding. The wheel flaps, both on top and bottom, are set so the robot can still run inverted without getting stranded. Once upside down, the teeth of the drum gouge out robot parts.
Inspiration; Named after the disease which causes the skin to flake and fingers and toes to drop off...namely because the robot does something similar. The basic idea came from an episode of The Simpsons.
Strengths; Drum, control is pretty good
Weaknessess; Wheels may be vulnerable to axes.
Dave, apparantly you didnt read very carefully: This whole fiasco about you doing it is OVER, and I apolgize for my infomation starting it, but all clues we had pointed to you. Once again, i apologize.
DIE-CERATOPS RE-INVERTUS
Weight; 100 kilos
Body Shape: Wheely Big Cheese
Speed; 15mph
TC; 0
GC; 0mm at front, 3mm at sides and back.
Wheels; 2 inner, sticking out only slightly,
Armour; 8mm titanium
Power; 3x 12v batteries, powered by a couple of Magmotors
Colour; Green, with Killer Carrot style wrinkles, mouth and eyes. One of the eyes has a plaster over it, the other is a black eye. A few bandages are painted on this time.
Weapons: A huge Wheely Big Cheese style flipper, capable of flipping a tonne or so.
Srimech; As the name suggests, the robot runs inverted. Bars prevent side strandings, and the back is rounded, so stranding THAT way is outta the question. The flipper works upside down.
Inspiration; Ive always liked Dinosaurs. This is a pun of Triceratops. The Invertus part is pretty obvious.
Strengths; The ability to work upside down and still be able to use its weapon, now easier to control.
Weaknessess: Cant find any.
CYCLONE FORCE 2.5
Weight; 100 kilos
Body Shape; Storm 2
Speed; 25mph
TC; 0
GC; Side is 0mm due to skirts. Back is 2mm. See set-ups for front GC
Wheels; 6 inner
Armour; 7mm Titanium.
Power; Similar stuff to what Storm 2 uses.
Colour; A blue-ish grey tone all over.
Weapons; The robot has 5 set-ups, 2 brand new...
SET UP 1...A lifter device, similar to Storm 2. In theory, it can lift 190 kilos. The front makes a wedge and results in a 0mm GC. However, the wedge is useless upside down.
SET-UP 2...A pair of Kan Opener style claws, with about 4 tonnes of pressure at the tip. Front GC for this and Set-up 3 is 1mm.
SET-UP 3...A Disc-O-Inferno style disc, reaching speeds of up to 3000rpm and with similar damage capability to this dangerous bot (I mean, look what it did to Panic Attack).
SET-UP 4...Two 30cm long spikes, which, combined with the speed of the robot, can easily penetrate weaker armours (Id say anything 4mm thick or less, minus Steel, is in a bit of trouble).
SET-UP 5...The most risky approach, A simple bucket scoop, like X-Terminator. The scoop is static, but can get underneath virtually zero ground clearance. Its front is 0mm.
Srimech; The robot runs inverted, the sides are protected by the skirts and back stranding is impossible. Set-ups 2, 3 and 4 work upside down.
Inspiration; The original Cyclone was named because it is the name of a storm and it sounds threatening. The force came later, after it became a pusher.
Strengths;Raw power
Weaknessess;Lack of control, Set-ups 1 and 5 do not work upside-down.
Of course, Set-Ups 4 and 5 wont be allowed, so I wont be using them.
Ok, Im designing my own super heavyweight with the help of Danny. In addition, I will be replacing Sunflower with another FW, because Sunflower is overweight I believe.
Aaargh will be my new Featherweight, info found here, http://www.stupoo2000.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/featherweights/database_aaargh.htmhttp://www.stupoo2000.pwp.blueyonder...ase_aaargh.htm
Super Heavyweight coming soon.
And my new Super Heavyweight, thanks once again to Daniel for helping me with the design! :proud:

The RFL runs 320lbs SHW as far as Ive seen. Nitro Whyachi was only 320lbs. Heaviest SHW I have seen is Mechadon at just over 410lbs.
Completely messed up Pure Evil and Out of Bounds stats. I have done Pure Evil again, but will need a bit more time to finish the SHW.
Name: Pure Evil: Revenge of the Disc
Weight: 100kg
Armour: 4mm Titanium ring spinner and 4mm Titanium flipper/wedge.
Speed: 8mph
Shape: It is a ring spinner with a front wedge.
Weapon 1: The main body is a ring spinner made from 4mm Titanium, with Titanium teeth all over it. It is powered by a C40-400 Magmotor running at 36v and geared down 2:1. This means the body can reach a top speed of 3888RPM. The disc weighs a total of 40kg and can dish out 174kJ of energy per hit.
Weapon 2: A spinning kinetic powered flipper, based on Team Whyachi€™s €œWarrior SKF€Â. It uses the kinetic energy from the disc to power the flipper, meaning it can flip with a total of 58KJ of energy.
Strengths: Unique and powerful weaponry. Good control.
Weaknesses: Takes a long time to self right due to the disc needing to spin up successfully.
Ground Clearance: 0mm at front and sides of flipper, 5mm at back due to ring spinner.
Srimech: The flipper can successfully self right the robot.
Notes: The robot is powered by 2 800w 36v DC motors giving 8mph top speeds. The wheels are made from Vulcalon, and have screws embedded in them to help gain traction on the arena floor. The ring spinner is powered by a C40-400 Magmotor geared down 2:1. This means the body can reach a top speed of 3888RPM. There are 15 1€ cubed Titanium teeth all over the horizontal spinner, giving it 174KJ of energy on impact when used as a spinner. The flipper works because there is an eccentric land on top of the spinning ring. The top link connected to the flipper plate has a groove in it, when fired the top link engages with the spinner land and pulls backward flipping the plate up. At the front of the flipper there is a 4mm Titanium €œnose€ with a sharpened edge designed to get under all skirts and ground clearances. When the spinner is spinning at full speed, the flipper flips with 58kJ of energy. All the electrics are kept within the 50cm diameter of the ring spinner.
*slams head on keyboard*
SHW didnt take as long to fix had Id expected. Thanks to Tom for pointing out the kJ in flipper.
Name: Out of Bounds
Weight: 155kg
Armour: 9mm Hardox ring spinner and 7mm Titanium flipper/wedge.
Speed: 8mph
Shape: It is a ring spinner with a front wedge.
Weapon 1: The main body is a ring spinner made from 9mm Hardox, with Titanium teeth all over it. It is powered by 2 LEM130 motors at 48v geared down 3:1. This means the body can reach a top speed of 4800RPM. The disc weighs a total of 48kg.
Weapon 2: A spinning kinetic powered flipper, based on Team Whyachi€™s €œWarrior SKF€Â. It uses the kinetic energy from the disc to power the flipper, meaning it can flip with a total of 246KJ of energy.
The ring spinner is powered by 2 LEM130 motors at 48v geared down 3:1. This means the body can reach a top speed of 4800RPM. There are 15 1€ cubed Titanium teeth all over the horizontal spinner, giving it 739KJ of energy when being used as a spinner. The flipper works because there is an eccentric land on top of the spinning ring. The top link connected to the flipper plate has a groove in it, when fired the top link engages with the spinner land and pulls backward flipping the plate up. At the front of the flipper there is a 1cm Titanium €œnose€ with a sharpened edge designed to get under all skirts and ground clearances. When the spinner is at its full speed, the flipper can flip with a total of 246kJ. All the electrics are kept within the 70cm diameter of the ring spinner.

Slight change in Shovearound 2s stats again: Ditch the hardox frame for 10mm titanium frame [i now know hardox frames suck. :P]
uhhhm... any place left :^)
if so, plllllllease reserve one spot for me =(
Changing hte drive on Shovearound to 4 LEM130s, 48v and geared 22:1.
ALso, its a monoque now, so no frame.
HWs:
Flaming Hell
Weight: 100kg
Dimensions: 90x90x60 cm
Weapon: a triangular spinning cage with 3 sharpened bot openers on each end, weighing 5kg each, spinning at 3000 RPM, powered by a Lemco on 36v
Power: 2x Bosch 750 motors at 24v (its been made so that the cage motor gets 36v but the drive only gets 24, as the drive is ok as it is on 24V)
Shape: circular base with triangular cage atop
Speed: 15mph
Drive power: 4bph
Notes: small electric actuators in the rotor arms in order to self right. They have been shock proofed so that the weapon impact will not bust them, and the cage spins 2mm from the ground. Small bearings for the cage and the far set apart wheels give it increased stability for a FBS
Turning Circle: 0cm
Armour: 3mm titanium
Wheel Type - 4 small wheelbarrow type wheels (no need for great traction)
Strengths: Power of cage
Weakness: Unpredictable bounce off from an opponent
Hell Machine
Weight: 100kg
Dimensions: 140x100x60 cm
Weapons: Lemco motor powered axe (run through gear box) that can deliver an axe blow of 3 tons (according to my calculations) and rear linier actuator operated lifting arm that can flip 600kg
Srimech: Side arms and rear arm
Speed: 15mph
Transmission: a 4 wheeled Tornado set up(36v and same gearing), but with a pair of Mag C40€™s in place of the Bosch motors, and a set of NiMh in place of the heavy Lead Acids the real thing uses.
Turning Circle: 0m
Ground clearance: 0 at the scoop and wedge edge, 2mm the rest of the way around
Wheel Type: Go-kart
Body Shape: scoop fronted, wedged back
Armour: 8mm Grade 5 Titanium and 2mm stainless steel
Colour: Black with flame face on scoop and name in blood writing on side, devil head on rear wedge
Strengths: Enormous pushing power (About 12hp), EXTREMELY powerful axe, relentless in attacking (until a robot is immobile)
Weakness: Dislikes spinners, doesnt like weapons that use carbon
Name: Sheer Hell
Weight: 100kg
Dimensions: 150cm x 80cm x 120cm
Shape: low angled box with disc on the front like 13 black and rear 259 disc, style
Weapons: A front mounted Horizontal spinning disc and a rear mounted vertical spinning disc, both running at 4500rpm and delivering a blow of 75kj
Top Speed: 13 mph
Transmission: 4 Rubbertex coated aluminium wheels (Rubbertex is a grippy rubber substance used on the K*bot tables) run on a Smidsy type wheel system, and run by a pair of Bosch 750€™s and a bank of Ni-cads to give me more weight for armour
Armour: 8mm Titanium
GC: 3mm either side and back, 7mm under the disc at the front, variable at the sides of the disc
Srimech: powerful electric arms mounted on the top
Turning Circle: 0cm
Strengths: devastating weapons
Weakness: carbon based weapons
Notes: will NEVER turn the vertical flywheel into an opponent as it will throw SH over. Also, counter-acting discs (vertical and horizontal) will keep it stable, and if it is flipped, it does a funny jig in the air before coming down, most of the time, right way up
Name: Flipping Hell
Dimensions: 120cm x 80cm x 40cm
Weight: 100kg
Shape: steep wedge front, elongated wedged tail (not used as a weapon)
Weapon: 1000psi 2 pivot pneumatic flipper that can generate enough momentum and force to throw a 100kg robot 25ft up and 20ft across
Top speed: 18mph
Transmission: just like Razer€™s
GC: 0 at the front, 2mm down the side, 4mm at the back end
Turning Circle: 0cm
Armour: 6mm aluminium and steel alloy
Strengths: Can win with one weapon shot
Weakness: None
Notes: 4 wheels, the rear two of which are Razer type, so the flipper is always facing its opponent
Name: Jaws of Hell
Weight: 100kg
Dimensions (LWH): 130 x 100 x 25 cm
Body shape: Tornado shaped, but with 6 wheels
Weapons: a hydraulic tearer. The idea is that the large blade that is edged on both sides punctures the armour of an opponent, and a 3000psi hydraulic ram separates them, causing a huge tear in the armour. The edge is carbon tipped, so Titanium is not even there as far as Im concerned.
Power: a pair of LEM 130s on 36v running through a Storm 2 transmission (with 6 vulcalon wheels, with small screws in them for that little extra)
Armour: 4mm Hardox and 2mm stainless steel
Srimech: invertible
Speed: 27mph
Strengths: vicious weapon
Weakness: Unique weapon, may be mis-understood
Name: Helliant
Weight:100kg
Dimensions: 100 x 100 x 35 cm
Shape: Low wedge, rounded back
Weapons: A 750 PSI pneumatic arm that is mainly for self righting but can be used as a weapon, and a set of 3 Kill Saws at the back. The Kill Saws four, 20 inch, carbide tipped, SystiMatic saw blades. The blades are powered by a 48 volt, 3.5 horse power motor and can shred titanium and many other things too.
GC: 0mm at the front, 1mm the rest of the way
Wheels: go-karts
Power: a pair of Bosch 750s on 36v, whereas the weapon is on 48v
Speed: 18mph
Armour: 2mm stainless steel and 4mm aluminium
Strengths: rip-roaring weapon
Weakness: iffy armour
Name: All Hell
Weight: 100kg
Dimensions: 100 x 100 x 50cm
Shape: Vortex, but without the motor sticking out the back
Weapons: A 27kg outer-rim weighted steel vertical flywheel, Powered by a B&S motor at 48v and run through a 40:1 ratio chain and sprocket transmission. The disc runs at 3500RPM but packs a 79Kj wallop (I worked it out; it€™s not that dissimilar from Matildas tail disc).
GC: 3mm all the way around
Wheels: 2 x Vulcanised Aluminium hubs
Power: a pair of Bosch 750 watts motors running on 36v (Like Flaming hell, wired so the drive gets less and the weapon gets more) running through a 10:1 ratio gearbox
Speed: 12MPH
Armour: 6mm Stainless Steel
Colour: Black, with pentagrams and demon faces painted in random places
Strengths: Devastating Weapon
Weakness: No srimech as such, but can run on the disc, which is then thrown into reverse which causes the robot to flip over, Stinger Style. Tipped right way up
MW:
Hell Fire
Weight: 50kg
Dimensions: 120x110x40cm
Shape: low slung wedge
Weapons: Powerful pneumatic flipping arm that has a plate that runs the width of the front, that can throw 75kg 3 feet or so no problem, and can, flip 100kg, but not too high, and a rear Pussycat style Saw, that spins at 4000rpm, and has carbon tipped teeth to cope with titanium.
Top Speed: 25mph
Transmission: a pair of Mag C40€™s on 24v NiMH€™s running through a really simple transmission, but a reliable one due to features to keep the chain on.
Amour: 4mm Ali and steel alloy and 2 mm of stainless steel on top
Strengths: Very manoeuvrable and fast, generally very easy to control
Weakness: Exposed outer wheels
Ground Clearance: 0 at the front, 5cm at the back, varying from 0 to 4.5 at the sides (wedge goes up)
Turning Circle: 0cm (its turning is very nimble)
Notes: Hell Fire is extremely manoeuvrable because it has 2 sets of wheels on the same axle, meaning that it€™s incredibly stable, and can turn on a penny, and can still run even with outer wheels ripped off
LW:
Name: Hell Hound
Weight: 25kg
Dimensions (LxWxH): 50x40x30cm
Shape: scooped front, rectangular body, rounded back
Weapons: 2 conjoined Pincer type crushing jaws with a small hydraulic ram powering each, producing a 1 and 1/2 tonne crushing force
Colour: mainly black, but with Rotweiler features all over the body
Speed: 15MPH
Transmission: a pair of Bosch 400€™s on 24v running through a simple 6:1 ratio gearbox
Armour:1mm stainless steel and 1mm Ali/steel alloy (tough enough for LWs)
Srimech: cable pulled legs from out the side (like a dog cocking his leg to do his business)
GC: 0 at the scoop, 2mm the rest of the way
Turning circle: 0cm
Strengths: Power of weapon
Weakness: slow self righter (still effective mind)
FW:
Name: Hells Angel
Weight: 12kg
Dimensions: 59 x 45 x 15 cm
Shape: Scoop front, rectangle body, wedged rear end
Weapons: a FW gold motor powered axe, drilled for lightness, but with still a heavy axe head, with a wallop power of about 500kg
Transmission: Ali protected Windscreen wiper motors attached directly to the compound rubber wheels, which are studded with screws pointing out (like those on Chaos 2)
Speed: 12 MPH
GC: 2mm all around, 0 at the scoop end
Srimech: The axe, the weight of which pulls it over so it cannot rest on its side. Make SURE you remember that.
Armour: 2.5mm mild steel on the sides, 1.5 mm steel elsewhere
Strengths: The axe
Weakness: the armour may not stand up to strong FW spinners, but should prove good enough
OK, two people wanting to fill the last spot. :S After much deliberation and conference with some other competitors, weve come up with an idea.
- Dave W and Martijn enter as one team. Each enters 4 Heavyweights each (at least one of these four must be a vapour)
- Dave enters a FW and MW
- Martijn enters a LW and SHW
If you both think this sounds OK, please post your response here and get your stats together soon. Thank you :)
If that fails, we can go to the other, other plan and have you two battle it out in a little qualifier :proud:
Or seeing I only entered to make up numbers, I could always withdraw and let Dave take my place :P
I would like to go with Steves suggestion, as I would not want to deny Frank his place.
BTW frank, any pics of CB ? and why have you put a lifter in ? Its had a drill since the day you designed it
